Hhungary (8/5): NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING - BUT NOT EVEN FAR. - You have to know, what you expect. This is not a trandy place (even if St Martin is better, than we thought). We were looking for a modest-priced place, for 5 couples. Stay together - but still independent. Not far from the slopes. First we went to Annaberg (10 minutes drive) - a place for families with small children. No cabin-lifts, some chair lifts with short distance. The next day we drove 10 minutes more for Flachau. Quite crowded, but well equipped. The Family-hotel INGRID has a "central building" with around 10 rooms, a small place to eat in the basement, and a nice (but small) sauna. In teh "depandance" they built 6 apartments next to each other -and we rented those. Enough space (separate WC and shower-room), kitechenette,a separated place with bed for sleeping, an other one (with a couch) as living room. All separate entrance from the quite street. Supermarket in 3-4 minutes walking. Several restaruants in the village. The host is kind and helpful. Good to stay here for a friendly group
