- Christian (9/5): Super flat in Dürnstein - It was "perfect" in all aspects. And when things are perfect, there is nothing to add! Very nice flat, original lay-out, lot of space. Very nice bathroom. Everything working fine in the kitchen. Dedicated space for our bikes. In a nutshell: perfect Nothing about the flat, but about the On-line check-in procedure, ending systematically on an "Async error" message. Plus too many reminders always ending in a failure...

- rakefet (6/5): - The whole entrance to the room was a nightmare. The picture that describes the place is not correct. This is the front of the building, guest rooms are on the other side. We waited outside for almost 40 minutes. The parking is awkward.. The apartment is very beautiful

- Niel Liew (10/5): One of my best stay in Austria - The staff were so friendly! We went to the wrong location (we booked for Durnstein but we went to Krems) and they are very helpful to switch for us. And shared with us how to go durnstein etc. Was lucky to meet the staff. The rooms were huge and nice! None. But I think a suggestion is to put their apartment in Durnstein in Google map as I was unable to locate it. (But generally it is still a 10/10 experience!!)

- Tea (10/5): Absolut empfehlenswert! - Tolle Lage, eigener kleiner Garten! Bequemes Bett (ist uns sehr wichtig), Sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Sogar ein Gemeinschaftsbalkon, von der Wohnung zugänglich, ist vorhanden.Mit Blick auf den mittelalterlichen Turm. Top! Von der Wohnung ist man sofort im Zentrum -und kann sich trotzdem zurückziehen wenn die Masse kommt. Man erlebt den Trubel aber auch die stille Ortschaft! D Der Weg zur Burg beginnt auch gleich vor der Tür, wenn man früh startet ist man ganz alleine oben! Sonst ist dort oben viel Rummel. Abends totale Stille, morgens Vogelgezwitscher. Wir waren April da. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. 👍 Evtl. zu starker Zimmerduft (Waschmittel?). Aber das ist Jammern azf hohem Niveau..!

- ELDAD (10/5): Excellent - We got answers to all of our questions prior to arrival' and during the stay' they assist us by phone and messages. parts of the original elements remain in the apartment. Heating was not fully functioning, specially in the bedroom' and it was not so clear how to operate it. we stayed in December.

- Hermann (8/5): alles zusammen ein tolles Wochenende in Dürnstein in einem, sagen wir super, verbessern Appartement - die Lage sehr sehr gut, am Anfang von Dürnstein ( aus Krems kommend ) fast im Zentrum, Frühstück halt leider nur im Cafe Schmiedl im nächsten Haus ( aber Top Qualität, super tolles Frühstück ) Parkplatz auch ok, ca. 100 m entfernt und nur mit Schlüsselcode Schranken aufsperrbar, das Appartement sehr groß, ca 50 m2, leider sehr viele Stufen, aber sonst tolle Aussattung, sehr großer TV, GS, WM, tolles großes Bad das Bett war dafür der Horror, leider nur eine Matratzenbett, sehr niedrig, ca. 20 cm vom Boden, sehr sehr weiche Matratze, für ältere Personen natürlich unmöglich, weiteres die beiden Fauteuil waren zum Kuscheln und Fernsehen auch völlig ungeeignet

- Mateusz (10/5): Above and beyond, highly recommended. - The apartment was very spacious, located in the beautiful old renovated building, had all necessary amenities and appliances, high quality cosmetics and superb bath. The cosy terrace was a huge sell for us. Overall it exceeded our expectations. The bed and sofa were also super comfortable. I will be looking for Smile Apartments other properties in the future, that's for sure! The bedroom had very little light available and no electric sockets near the bed. A very minor discomfort though, there was plenty around anyway.

- David (9/5): Great apartment in a lovely place - Location excellent for both the village and bus stop ( and train station, which we didn't use). The apartment is in an old building, but is very modern, well set out, very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen has everything we needed ( except some oil, which is a small criticism), and the shower is excellent. The village and surroundings are both lovely and interesting This is not a criticism of the apartment, but many of the cafés/restaurants are closed on Mondays.

- Alexandre (9/5): A great place for wine lovers. 1 day is way more than enough - Dürnstein is a bit in nowhere in Wachau, but is clearly a lovely small city full of charm in the middle of the vines and apricots. The appartement was extremely clean, very well equipped. An excellent choise for a couple. It’s not a bit deal, but I’m 1m97. One piece of the roof between the kitchen and the living room is smaller than me… and well, I had to pay more attention~

Perfekte Lage direkt in der Altstadt. Restaurants und Cafés direkt vor der Haustür. Betten quasi auf dem Boden sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber gut. Schade, dass es zwischen Schlafbereich und Küche keine Tür gibt.

- Ishan (8/5): Very good - There are separate WC and Shower doors and both don’t have a lock on the doors. In a 2 bedroom apartment, which will usually have more than 2 people/non couples staying, it’s important to have a simple lock.

- Sandra (7/5): perfect for a family with small children, not really suitable for a couple of friends. - The apartment is clean, modern and almost as described. Loved the additional pillows and bathroom toiletries. The chocolates on the pillows were a nice touch. However, there was only one toilet despite being advertised as two bathrooms. The one toilet door does not have a lock, This can be embarrassing. It's also made of milk class, so you can almost see the person sitting on the toilet seat... And definitely hear things happening there. Also, we in the wine region and there were no wine glasses, champagne glasses-yes.

- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - The location was amazing. The loft area was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a beverage. Laundry in the apartment was a welcome bonus. Very beautifully decorated with fascinating touches on the lighting! The building needs a sign on the front. We were lucky to run into someone who pointed us to the back of the building - without that, I am not sure we could have found it. Also, we were provided a link to a map location for the parking, but it didn't work for us because we were trying not to use data outside the US. Again, we got lucky that there was a Smile van in the parking lot, so we tried the access code and it worked. A simple diagram of the parking and apartment location (Durnstein is not that big) would take care of both of these challenges.

One of the bathroom was like a mirror labyrinth, you have to be very careful. There were missing towel hooks in every bathroom and there was no place where to put vanity case.

Nice shampoo + body wash from Rituals! Great location! The toilet door does not have a lock. That can be imbarrassing. The only thing we missed were more hooks for towels in the bathroom and place to hang wet jackets and coats plus shoe rack in the hall. We visited the place in winter snowy season.

- 音乐之声thu (9/5): NOT BAD - The room is extremely big！We were so superised and the room is clean The location is good but we can only park the car outside the town，which is 5 minutes walking from the apartment. There is nobody in the apartment and it's difficult to find where it is. You can check in online only.
- Anita (9/5): Superb - Apartment was in a great location and it is very spacious. Looks like he online pictures , highly recommend it. The only thing that didn't work out was the later check out. I booked it and got the reply that it was okayed, but when we returned to the apartment after 10 our code didn't work . Luckily we saw someone that cleaned another apartment abd after telling them that we had a late checkout they unlocked the door for us. Not sure where the communication error was for the checkout but otherwise everything was perfect.
- J-p (9/5): Comfortable and quiet in the historic centre - Large apartment and large bathroom. All comfortable and well setup. Kitchen fine for small things and breakfast. Very convenient parking. We liked the furnishing and arrangements that was in mint state but still relatively classic. All spotless. Could recharge my EV close by Wifi worked for us only with difficulties and very slow. Possibly a photo show to illustrate step by step the arrival and checking process might help get things done easier. Some lights did not work and lighting could be improved. The fridge ran non stop freezing our stuff, making noise and consuming probably quite a lot of energy for nothing...

- Joanna (10/5): Super comfortable, great for a longer stay - We had a two bedroom place and the rooms were big and beds very comfortable. The kitchen had a generous offering of coffee, cream, and teas. Dining table and a sitting area. Nespresso machine is always a nice touch. Bathroom was big, with a separate shower and a tub. The location is right on the main street. (5 min walk from the closest parking) The check in process was not as easy as I thought. The website said "check in" - which in my properties is a straightforward 4-number code- but upon opening the page, I had to put in lot of info and a credit card again. Then I got a zillion numbers to enter the door code. After a day of driving, it was a bit too much. I guess if I traveled in Austria more I'd expect they want a lot of information everywhere.
