• Shannon (9/5): Stay was excellent. The location was amazing! Close to all the local attractions. - Location location location!! Beds were also comfortable, bathroom was continently located. There was a washer & dryer, fridge, hair dryer It was a lot of stairs to haul suitcases up & down. But they were at least switch back type so not steep. We did see a lift so may have just been a temporary out of service situation.

• Peter (8/5): Great location for a short stay - Perfect location—within walking distance of all major city attractions. The host is very responsive; we experienced a water shortage on our final day, but he managed to resolve it remotely within minutes, which we greatly appreciated. There were dirty plates left in the cabinet (likely overlooked by the cleaner after the previous guest). Additionally, the dustbin lid was not functioning properly, and the kitchen had very limited supplies of cooking oil and spices. While the curtains are aesthetically pleasing, they do not block light effectively. Lastly, the lift was out of order during our stay, which was an inconvenience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are clear areas for improvement regarding maintenance and housekeeping.

• Emilio (10/5): Best location visiting Vienna - Best location you can have visiting Vienna, joust in front of the Albertina museum, 5 minutes walking from Stephansplatz. The apartment clean and well kept inside a historical building, spacious and comfortable for a 4 people family (me, wife and two tall teenagers kids) with kitchen facility and a nice living room with TV. The tiny bathroom is not at same level of the house.
• Laura (10/5): Hermoso, céntrico y tranquilo apartamento - La ubicación es inmejorable, está cerca del Palacio de Hofburg y del centro histórico de Viena, de paradas de metro y autobús, me pude movilizar prácticamente solo caminando por toda la ciudad. La hora del check out es muy temprano, debería ser por lo menos hasta las 11 a.m.
• silvia (8/5): - El apartamento esta en una ubicacion inmejorable. Enfrente de la biblioteca nacional. Se puede ir caminando a todas partes. Es amplio, si bien, no son 2 dormitorios como tal, ya que uno de ellos esta integrado en el salon, en un hueco del mismo, sin puerta que lo haga independiente. El baño esta al final de la casa y se accede desde la cocina, por una terraza acristalada, pero con mucho frio, lo cual, a pesar del calefactor que nos dejaron, incomodó mucho las duchas. Pone segundo, sin ascensor, pero es mas de un segundo piso, será algo mas de un tercero, son 55 escalones. Las cortinas no es que no sean opacas, que no lo son, es que encima son pequeñas y entra la luz desde el amanecer, por laterales, arriba... No estan muy aisladas las ventanas, y entra mucho ruido, aparte de las campanas que empiezan a sonar a las 7 de la mañana.

El departamento se encuentra en excelentes condiciones, muy amplio, cómodo y bien equipado, con todas las facilidades necesarias para una estadía agradable. Muy recomendable. No tiene ascensor

• Maria (8/5): Die Lage ist sehr gut, für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut geeignet - Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt, ein altes Haus mit hohen Räumen, vis a vis von der Augustinerkirche. Kein Lärm Wer in und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber und der check in waren sehr einfach und angenehm 2. Schlafzimmer hat keine Türe. Es ist mit dem Wohnzimmer verbunden und aus dem anderen Schlafzimmer muss man durch das Wohnzimmer gehen Haken für die Handtücher und Badetücher wären sehr wichtig. Und es gibt in der ganzen Wohnung nur 6 Kleiderhaken für 4 Personen

• Maria (9/5): Pohodlný byt na úžasném místě, hned vedle Albertiny - Úžasná lokalita, hned vedle Albertiny, klasický vídeňský byt s vysokými stropy a dřevěnou podlahou, světlý a prostorný. K dispozici byl čaj i káva. Hostitel nám umožnil uložit zavazadla do skladu během odjezdového dne, což nám velmi pomohlo. Tzv. pokoj s oddělenými postelemi byl od obývacího pokoje oddělen jen paravanem.

No hay 2 dormitorio es un sitio en el salón con dos camas abierto entonces totalmente incómodo. El piso es en la segunda planta sin ascensor, las ventanas tienen goteras, por lo que entra aire frío del exterior, tuvimos que usar toallas para cubrirlo un poco. Un apto antiguo pero en el verano para dos personas ok.

Ωστόσο τα κρεβάτια καθαρά άλλα το ντους στο μπάνιο όχι.. προτιμήσαμε να μην το χρησιμοποιήσουμε. Το κτίριο είναι παλιό κ δυσκολευτηκαμε αρκετά ώστε να βρούμε τη θυρίδα με τα κλειδιά. ο Οικοδεσπότης είχε κάνει λάθος στις οδηγίες άλλα το κατάλαβε και ζητησε συγγνώμη, το πρόβλημα ήταν ότι δε μπορούσαμε να επικοινωνήσουμε με κάποιον εκείνη την ώρα κ ψάχναμε μισή ώρα. Σε γενικές γραμμές για ένα βράδυ που το χρειάστηκαμε καλό ήταν αλλά η τιμή πολυ ακριβή γι αυτό που προσέφερε. Μόνο η τοποθεσία άξιζε.

La cucina molto funzionale, dotata di stoviglie microonde, bollitore, macchina del caffè e tostapane. L'ascensore era fuori servizio (il proprietario si è scusato) ma fortunatamente l'appartamento è solo al secondo piano. Il rumore che proviene dalla strada perché le finestre non isolano l'appartamento e dalle fessure delle camere entra aria (fredda nel nostro caso, visto che era dicembre).

• Anne (9/5): Very nice apartment in the centre of Vienna - The location of the property was excellent - as promised - right in the heart of Vienna and within easy walking distance of many of the main sights - and Christmas markets. The apartment was comfortable - including the beds - and it was warm (but see below). The chandeliers were a delight! The apartment was very good. very clean and an interesting location. It would benefit from better curtains on the window in the hallway to the bathroom. There were some gauze ones which didn't either pull all the way across or provide any privacy during the evenings and mornings when the lights in the apartment. Some thicker curtains (even if only at chin height and below, would provide privacy and keep that area warmer in winter. Our other issue was nothing to do with the apartment but with the fact that there was loud scaffolding work taking place at the front of the building (on the building opposite) from as early as 5am - in the dark. I am not sure what your by laws are in Vienna and that may be fine but if they should be starting later then you might want to be aware.

• Yoonjung (8/5): De toute façon, nous avons bien profité du séjour assez confortable. - Cet appart est bien situé en centre ville, c'était facile de se déplacer à pied ou en tramway. Dès le 1er jour, lorsque nous sommes arrivés, l'ascensseur était en panne. Nous avons dû monter à pied avec grandes valises jusqu'au 2e étage. Il me semblait plus haut comme <>. Puis les toilettes sont loin de la salle, apres la cuisine.

A great place to rent while in Vienna with a fantastic lo - * Close to everything - great location * WiFi is consistent and fast * Washer/Dryer combination unit, plus a drying rack (a real benefit) * Bathroom is separated from living and bedrooms (for added privacy) * Comfortable beds * Knife collection, knives are sharp * High ceilings * Roomy * Coffee pods provided to get started I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again There are a lot of little things that bring the overall rating down * Shower drains slow, 3-4 inches of water accumulates while showering (this is probably the worst of the items) * Mildew in the shower * Few hooks in the bathroom (one next to shower, one next to sink) - no place to hang fresh clothes and wet towels for next day (other than on the drying rack outside the bathroom) * No horizontal spaces to leave toiletries * There is a rapid-banging/buzzing/vibration sound every 10 minutes or so (thought it was from the a/c unit, but still occurs with the units off) * 1 kitchen towel (although there is a washer in the flat)

• Cheryl (9/5): We were a group of 4 female friends aged 60-70. There are a few flights of stairs but they are wide, carpeted and not st - Perfect location with all sights a short walk. Easy access to restaurants and coffee shops. Large rooms with everything you could need. Washing machine was easy to use. Being in the centre of such a beautiful city was fabulous. Instructions from the host we clear and prompt. We did not need luggage storage on departure but our host offered it. Host checked by message during our stay that all was well which was most considerate. Nothing really except the mattress in main bed may need replacing as it sloped down a little. It was NOT uncomfortable though.

Elle fait tellement de bruit que c'est impossible de trouver le sommeil) - Le matelas de gauche dans la chambre principale qui est tellement mou et vieux que le lit penche sur le coté -L'ignorance des hôtes à qui ont a demandé de voir ce qu'on pouvait faire pour la climatisation dès notre arrivée et si on pouvait laisser nos bagages jusqu'à 15h, et qui a ce jour ne nous ont toujours pas répondu. -La décoration vraiment spartiate avec un appartement froid et sombre

I assume it is a temporary situation.

• Paul (8/5): Great for (younger) family’s, location is absolutely perfect for discovering the city. - Could not wish for a better location and that is more than enough to justify this place. Apartment is spacious and feels safe. Hardly any curtains! So difficult to sleep in. It is also right next door to the Augustiner church with bells ringing at 7 am. Charming for some, not for all. Elderly people will have difficulty navigating the long winding staircase up to the apartment. It had two bedrooms but one of them does not have a door, which is not clear from the description.

Check in directions were clearly communicated. Could have used a baking dish for the oven and a spatula for cooking.

• Zara (9/5): This apartment was at the heart of the Vienna - LOCATION! It's all about the location and the mood of the old Austrian building. You feel like a part of the city, not just a tourist and that's amazing! Waking up under the church bells ringing was an amazing feeling as an Christian! There was a little confusion, due to the stage of the apartment. Even it was the first leaving floor, but actually, it was the last floor of the building.
• Timothy (6/5): Really only a 1 bedroom place with 2 single beds in dining room - Location was fantastic It's really only a 1 bedroom place with 2 single beds jammed into what was probably the dining room so there was no way to make the 'kids' bedroom dark at all if the adults wanted to stay up watching TV or doing anything.
• Binh (9/5): Excellent location and roomy flat. Perfect for family of 4. - Location can't be any better. Everything is just within a short walk. There is no elevator which could be an issue for people with heavy suitcases (like us, but we read about that so it's expected for us), or people who can't climb many stair steps (mind you, it's equivalent to climbing a 2-3 regular stories). There is no heater for the kitchen and bathroom areas, also the bathroom floor is not heated like other area in the flat, so it's very cold in the winter (-1C/30F during our stay). However we spent most of the time outside, only go back to rests and take quick showers, so those things were not impact us much. Overall, we like the flat and will definitely consider it again next time. The main door should be sealed at the bottom to prevent cold air leaking in from outside. More shampoo and soap for shower should be provided (lucky that we brought some).

• David (8/5): Good location, clean, moderately comfortable, a bit noisy and bright, would recommend. - Photos were sent ahead of time to show exactly where and how to locate and enter the apartment. Instructions were very clear. Apartment was clean and spacious. Location was very good. I would recommend saying here depending on what you're looking for in a location. Little chocolates with welcome was nice. Kitchen had enough plates, cups, pans, etc for anyone wanting to use it. Shower was very small. Apartment was noisy due to street noise all night long (not a huge deal due to location). It was also very bright. The curtains did little to nothing to block out light. The bedroom door is frosted glass so light from living room comes in if someone is still up. There was no screen (as shown in photos) to separate the second sleeping space from the rest of the apartment. The curtains in the bathroom were see-through so anyone can see in from across the courtyard. The pillows are rock hard and there are no extra pillows or blankets available. I reached out to the host to make sure I wasn't missing where they were stashed, and never heard back. Depending on which building you end up in, there is either no elevator or one that doesn't work. All of these are small things that wouldn't keep me from staying there again, but I appreciate thorough reviews because everyone has their own needs. Only one set of keys was given, which could be a problem (we had 2 adults and 2 teens staying and we had to pre-plan any splitting up because of this).
• Aviffeldt (9/5): Perfect location - Perfect location, everything in walking distance. Good kitchen. Easy check-in/check-out. Nice and spacious appartment with high ceilings. The second bedroom was not a separate room, but part of the living room with no door to separate.
• Karin (9/5): Great location and very nice apartment in a very nice building - First of all excellent location! at the heart of the city, yet a quiet place and very close to Karlsplatz, from where you can take any transportation you want. The location couldn't be better. Everything ran very smoothly, taking the keys, using the storage room for the extra hours. The apartment is also very comfortable and ideal for a family of four. The kitchen is spacious with all the necessary equipment. We loved our stay here. Minor things: some hooks at the entrance would be very useful to hang the coats, especially in winter time. The bathroom is quite cold to take a shower in winter and as other guests also wrote, water comes out of the shower and the floor gets wet. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Very clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the building and the entry to the apartment were clear.beds good and comfortable apartment. We found it difficult to find the apartment. It is located next to a fitness studio (Pilates etc), so when going up the stairs, we were told by fitness studio customers that we were in the wrong area. There are so many stairs to get to the apartment, and the lift was permanently broken. While only two floors up, the stairs were low so went for 10 flights. Its was a pain having to lift our suitcases up those. On arrival, a work man was outside of the apartment and needed access to our bathroom a few times to do work. We couldn’t get netflick to work for our profile as the language was in Spanish? (We think now that someone else hadn’t logged out). I guess in some cities, these are the things that you need to endure for apartments in great locations in old buildings. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
• Jennifer (7/5): Good - Very good location, centrally located. Parts of the property could’ve been cleaner, for example the bathroom and the laundry basket. The air conditioner makes a buzzing sound every couple of minutes, so not for light sleepers!
