- Aitean (7/5): If you want an apartment right in the center this is the place. - The location. The room is a bit small for our needs. The kitchen was also small. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress soft. I can also say the cleaning was ok but not great.

- Alexandar (8/5): - Great rooms with high ceilings, very cool furniture, kitchen could be bigger

- Daniel (7/5): Decent accomodation if you look for a place basicly just to have somewhere to sleep 1-2 nights. - Nice time-travelling experience in a ghost hotel which has seen better days obviously. Room is spacious for 2 persons, the view to the town and the surrounding hills is pretty good. Hard to find the locker of the keys if you arrive after it’s getting dark. Kitchen is a bit poorly equipped, but OK for preparing a breakfast.
Shower head’s tube is broken, could be replaced to have proper water pressure.

- elen (10/5): - The rooms are extremely clean, functional and warm. The view is amazing.
- louise (9/5): good place to stay, and a good price - good location, great view from the balconym, large comfy bed, good bathroom, good functional kitchen with all the necessary stuff to do basic cooking, freindly host kitchen was very small and a bit crampt, instructions for where to go after key collection need to be clearer

- Andras (6/5): It was worth it in price-performance ratio, but compromises are required. - The accommodation is not a hotel, there is no staff, from the outside it almost looks like the Grand Budapest Hotel movie, and from the inside it looks more like the Shining movie. Abandoned, old, retro atmosphere. I personally liked this kind of atmosphere, but I'm sure there are fewer people like me. Parking was not easy, although it was free, nearly impossible to find any parking lot. The description said that they asked for a 200 eur deposit in case of possible damage on site, we exchanged the money, but then no one asked for it, so it was completely unnecessary. Apart from these, we felt comfortable, but we didn't spend much time at the accommodation.
- Aitean (8/5): Definitely recommended - The location is perfect, just in the center close to everything. The view we had from the balcony is breathtaking. Big apartment with all the room you need to enjoy the vacation. I want to recommend changing the pillows and the cushion. The pillows are uncomfortable as well as the bed a bit.
- Xavier (8/5): Very good -
- Anzhelika (8/5): Overall, we had a good impression of the apartment. If you like a museum-style interior, you will definitely appreciate - Overall, we liked this apartment. The atmosphere felt like a museum: paintings, high ceilings, and creaky floors — unless they were covered with a carpet :)
Our room didn’t have a kitchen, but it had a private bathroom and a separate toilet room. Everything was clean, and all the plumbing worked well. We also had our own terrace with a view of the mountains and part of the city. It was very beautiful.
Our friends’ apartment had a kitchen. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay: a stove, a kettle, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, and filters for it.
The only downside was the small fridge.
There was Wi-Fi. It worked well on a laptop but was slightly worse on a phone.
The location is convenient, with its own parking and a shuttle bus stop nearby.
The host initially answered our calls and resolved an issue that occurred during check-in. As for the downsides, after answering the first call, the host stopped responding. He was supposed to provide a city card that gives discounts for the spa and ski lifts.
- Voldbaek (8/5): Very good -
- Polina (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment looks beautiful. The interior is breathtaking. The staff is helpful. The only thing we didn’t like was early check out.
- Vladimir (10/5): Exceptional - The location close to the waterfall is neat.
- Brock (7/5): Good -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Zdenka (9/5): A Step back in time to experience the grandeur of yesteryear in a grand old hotel - Loved the old world charm all the grandeur and character of the place There was no power or even ducted heating in one of the bedrooms
- Patrick_loan (9/5): Amazing location in the centre of picturesque Bad Gastein! - The location of the apartment was amazing! We were on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the town and could hear the relaxing sound of the waterfall in the centre of Bad Gastein, which was so relaxing. The actually building was an old early 20th century grand hotel which has been converted into apartments (some holiday rental, others normal apartments). So the atmosphere inside this grand hotel is kind of strange, 'fading' glory would be one way of describing it, but a really interesting feeling to imagine all the rich and famous people stating there in the 1900s- 1930s. The apartment itself was decorated tastefully, just white walls, no pictures and the furniture was in keeping with the time period. There was a kitchen unit in the room (the main room was the bedroom and living area combined with the kitchen, unit also there) which had doors so you could close it when you didn't need it. But this facility was great, as then we could make some meals and save some money. It was great to have a balcony and a bath tub! Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn't very reliable, and we couldn't get a strong signal, and it kept cutting off. But we didn't really need it as we were hiking everyday we were in Bad Gastein in the mountains.
- Anne (1/5): AVOID AVOID AVOID at all cost!! - Nothing Absolutely filthy and dirty. Mattresses were completely stained, floors were disgusting and has not been cleaned. Had brown water coming out of the taps. Toilet disgustingly stained with pubic hairs around the seat. Hairs in bath and mould all around the tiles. Broken glass in one of the doors which was dangerous. Dust everywhere all up the walls. Kitchen nothing as described or as shown in photos. Tiny cupboard with a stove which was filthy. Absolutely nothing good to say. Owner is very rude and arrogant as well as a thief as took two lots of payments out of my bank account and refuses to return them. Put us down as a 'no show' where we clearly did show up as we have a receipt for payment as well as plenty of photos!
- Kenneth (6/5): Ok value for money - Nice and clean. Everything you need for a short stay. Bit old and worn. Not the best locatiin in relation to the main lift station
- Aidan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Emil (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful and really extraordinary apartment. I was afraid that the pictures only showed the pretty sides but it was almost breathtaking to see it in real life. Absolutely a stay to remember! Keys should be picked up at another hotel.
The deposit had to be payed by cash.
Small kitchen if you want to cook for 5 people.
- Kresten (7/5): Good -
- Chamberlain (4/5): Very disappointing - The external building is an iconic building which lures you in. The internal building is a ghost town. No facilities. No cleaning or room servicing. The 2 bed apartment was nothing like the photos and really needs work. Kitchenette was poor and in one of the bedrooms, no fresh towels, no rubbish service and had to collect key in the snow at another hotel. Location doesn’t work for shops or skiing as it’s at the bottom of the hill. Would not recommend as there are much better options with customer service.
- Remigius (9/5): Lovely quiet place - Received a good welcome and information. The management was very friendly, helpful, and kind. The apartment services were excellent, as expected, and enjoyed the stay.
- Caroline (7/5): Good -
- Cousens (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alarwy (8/5): amazing location, wonderful and historical building - historical building and location no table at the balcony
- Fenlon (9/5): Great! - Big room with good facilities. The hotel is very atmospheric and located in the middle of town.
- Wojciech (9/5): Superb -
- Donatas (10/5): Exceptional - fantastic place for vacations
- Donatas (10/5): Exceptional - The room feels like a palace, it’s cosy, has scenic view out of the balcony and antique furniture. There are some small, uncomfortable odds and ends.
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing -
- Katarzyna (7/5): messy - beautiful apartment in so beautiful building, could be perfect but.. all apatment smelled strongly of cigarettes, it was full of dust, i faund also butt near bed, in bathub and shower were damp patches with rust, in one bathroom there was no hot water in washbasin. I’m really disappointed with cleanliness.
- Thijs (9/5): amazing week! - what a majestic history of the building, and the rooms are a museum on itself kitchen was very limited. In space, in amenities and no dishwasher
- Luka (7/5): Good - Location Mattres, old style shower with hot and cold comands separate. Kitchen
- Lauren (8/5): great location but rooked! - large apartments with huge balcony stayed extra nights and would have been cheaper to go through booking.com $1483 vs $1530 ish. Paid $900 in cash to avoid the additional fees from booking.com and tax. Disappointing!
If I cancelled and rebooked on booking.com it would have been $1283.
- Veronika (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay, in this really great apartment, that was so authentic. The manager was also super nice, and even took time to show some of us around in the building, which has a lot of history. He was also super helpful with other stuff. So if you want to stay in a charming place, this is a good recommendation.
- Michal (8/5): Very good -
- Aurimas (6/5): Pleasant - Location and appartment spirit is special. It was an old hotel which was converted into appartment wihout changing it much. Appartment owener was super arogant and not nice person.
We called to be late due to late flight , but event thougt he charged as un top late check in (Be aware !!) But was not in the booking agreement. When I asked about it , he just mumbled , that I can cancel it if i dont like it .( Cancelation fee 100%) .
Wifi password was not provided.
- Basel (2/5): Dirtiest and smelliest place I have ever experienced - Spacious and nice view. The apartment is very old and it really takes you back in time, but sadly it is extremely dirty. the smell is horrible and there were hundreds of big flies when we first got there, I have never seen anything like it.
the fridge and the kitchen are awful, there were flies in the fridge even.
the bathroom was the biggest issue, I am sorry to say but it was absolutely disgusting, to the point I was feeling sick when I tried to clean things before using them, I honestly can’t even describe how dirty it was. At the end we had to leave a day earlier because we couldn’t cope anymore. the dust was everywhere even on the walls.
It’s really sad because it could be a nice place if it was looked after, but I have never felt so dirty in my life.
by far the dirtiest and smelliest place I have ever been to.
I really think they should bleach the whole apartment and especially the bathroom.
The whole furniture needs replacing or deep cleaning, it stinks.
Check the loo before you use it, I’ll say no more.
- Aneta (10/5): Bizarre, definitely one of the kind, and actually really amazing - It was one of a kind type of stay. Belladonna Panorama Apartment is located in the former Grand Hotel de L'Europe. In the prominent times it used to be a one of the best hotels in Europe hosting famous people from around the world. Currently you can while staying in that place you can feel that the old time soul and experience a bit of the unfortunately already aged luxury, but feeling like you are there almost completely alone. Kind of bizarre, but also very special. It is definitely not gonna be appreciated by people who need hotel service and modern facilities. But this place really has a very special charm. It felt a bit like traveling in time. I adored having a morning coffee on the balcony with amazing views over Bad Gastein, taking long bath, discovering almost abandoned parts of the hotel and also attended completely by a coincidence a beautiful jazz concert at the bottom floor as there were free jazz events taking place every Wednesday during summer in front of the hotel (or inside with rainy weather). On the ground floor you will find Gasteiner museum where you can discover more about the hotel itself and the beautiful Bad Gastein area. If you are a bit nostalgic and want to experience something different during traveling, this is the right place for you. I appreciate that they tried to modernise rooms by adding fridge, cooking plate and filter coffee machine, but I think it takes away much of the charm of the place. There weren’t any coffee filters for the machine so I needed to arrange it myself first morning, but I think it is not necessary as there is a very nice cafe place downstairs where you can get breakfast and take away coffee. There were couple of moments when I was a little bit wondering when was the last time this building went through some technical inspection and just in case didn’t use the elevator, but I think it is mainly my personal anxiety coming from the feeling of staying alone in the abandoned-like hundred year old building.
It was also a nit annoying that I needed to walk to some other hotel to pick up the keys. I think it would be so much nicer if they could deliver them to you to the hotel, especially if you travel by train.
- Aysha (8/5): Very good -
