Guest Reviews
- Silvia (7/5): -
- Tamara (4/5): - Washing machine didn’t work and shower drain was blocked so flooded the kitchen
- Katrina (8/5): Very convenient location you can over look the shower in the kitchen set up because u couldn’t get more convenient loca - The property was located on a main tram line about 5 stops from the centre of town (pick just up road from accommodation and drop off right outside the opera house perfect ) The shower in the kitchen, kind of odd set up
- Yıldız (6/5): Fiyat performans - Fiyat performans bir yerdi. Yeterince temiz değildi. Konumu toplu taşımaya yakın ama çoğu yere 2 aktarma gidiliyor.
- Fatih02 (6/5): Pleasant - It is close to metro, bus, shops and historical places, you can go by walking to lots of places
- Nadica (1/5): Bad -
- Berry (4/5): Convenient location - The building was not secure. The front door of the building stayed open all day and many random people were hanging out downstairs from the apartment. Also, the shower is in the kitchen because there was no hot water in the WC where the other shower was. No TV. You must pay a cleaning fee when you leave and you're also told you'll have to pay a 100 Euro security deposit like an AirBnB.
- Mario (7/5): Good - Close to different train stations Bathroom.
- Sophia (1/5): Bad - The property was affordable We stayed for two days and the electricity didn’t work for one of the days as well as the hot water. The communication of the host was also very poor and slow.
- Liam (4/5): You get what you pay for - Good value for money. Nothing fancy, but fine for spending the nights while in the city during the day
The shower in kitchen is odd but no big deal.
Kitchen was adequately stocked, but basic laundry detergent and a corkscrew would be welcome additions. Host wanted to fine us for using extra towels and bedding, and claimed that this was proof we had additional people staying in the apartment.
Our group of three guests used 4 towels and 5 blankets during a six day stay. I do not consider this to be an excessive use of laundry, but the host seems to believe otherwise.
Put a negative ending on an otherwise acceptable stay, and would not recommend staying here for this reason.
- Koleva (8/5): Very good -
- Irina (8/5): Very good - The apartment is clean, quiet with well equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable. Wifi connection is stable. Location is also good with two underground stations and tram stop nearby. The host quickly answered our questions. We do not like shower in the kitchen, however for the short stay it was OK. It was difficult to find the apartment in the house, the number of apartment was absent in the instructions. However, we have found it after a while.
- Stefan (8/5): Very good - Location was great, one colleague turned to live on the same street. Access to the center was easy by the Baden S-bahn and trams 1 and 62. Billa supermarket right across the street. Very quiet and warm building. We didn't need to turn on the radiators. We had plenty of hot water provided in real-time by the excellent gas heater. I'd be happy to book again when or if I come to Vienna next time. I can't think of anything negative. I hope the owner will be able to connect the hot water to the small toilet too, so the bathroom there can also become usable in the winters. It will only need a thin pipe to be run around the walls or the ceiling. The socket for the electrical water heater is ideal for this interconnection. It will be a very useful extension.
- Mary-joy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawid (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing. Bad price for this quality. Shower in kitchen and no hot water in shower in bathroom
- Seongmin (7/5): Good - The host instructed in detail how we find the way to the flat, get into the entrance door, and collect the key.
The location was good - you can go to the city center or the central station easily by using public transports. It seems like they renovated the bathroom into a kitchen, so the shower was in the middle of the kitchen, which was a bit awkward.
- Justyna (7/5): Worth reserving if you treat it just as a place to sleep and spend of the rest time sightseeing. - Very well located, close both to the old town and Schönbrunn. Toilet has been renovated. The price-quality was adequate. It could have been cleaner. Floor was dirty, there was a lot of hair in the main room. The shower wasn’t too comfortable with this not working door to close it.
- Hassan (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (5/5): Not great, but fairly cheap and cheerful. - Location is good - 5 minutes from tram/rail station (Matzleinsdorfer Platz), even closer to Lorenzgasse tram, 15 min walk to Hauptbahnhof. Or half hour walk into city centre.
3 supermarkets (Hofer, Billa, Spar) within a few minutes' walk. Very good and friendly Turkish shop right opposite.
Large sitting-room with big comfortable bed and smaller sofa-bed.
Well- (if slightly haphazardly-) equipped kitchen. All appliances, as far as we could tell, worked properly, apart from the extractor fan over the cooker and the lights under the cupboards.
Unlimited gas, hot water and electricity.
Good double-glazing to keep out any noise from neighbours. Owner requests €300 "breakage deposit" on arrival - in fact we never saw the owner, so spent the money on ourselves instead, but this request is nevertheless unreasonable and excessive. If he has your money, the earliest you can check out is supposedly 9.30, too late for many early flights.
No proper arrangements made for entry to the property - we phoned the owner on arrival, who shouted at us that he'd sent us all the details for gaining entry (he hadn't - we didn't even know the number of the apartment). Eventually he was able to release the outside door for us (remotely) and describe where the key was.
Rather run-down apartment block.
No wi-fi, TV or radio.
No bathroom!! The shower is in the kitchen, between the sink and the washing-machine, and the toilet is in an unventilated cupboard. (There is a light-switch in there, if you look hard enough, over in the corner behind the ironing board and other clutter.) So you have to clean teeth etc. at the kitchen sink.
Very worn and tatty furniture, a lot of it broken in some way, and terrible new-agey pictures on the walls.
- Grupceva (8/5): Very good -
