It is extremely clean, light, airy, warm in cool weather and big windows that would provide cool air if it was needed. It’s in a beautiful quiet area of the city, just a short flat walk to the centre of the city. From the time of booking and throughout our stay, the staff were extremely helpful and responsive. Selbstbedienungskühlschrank steht zur Verfügung: sehr fein! Leider nur stilles Mineralwasser. Prickelnd wäre fein gewesen! Auch eventuell eine Auswahl an Keksen ohne Schokolade oder Knäckebrot wäre super!

Being family-owned and managed gives it such a warm, personal touch that you don’t often find in larger hotels. From the cosy bar to the thoughtful coffee setup, every little detail made it feel homely and welcoming. I especially appreciated their honesty and attentiveness — I accidentally left my earring in the room, and when we returned to collect our luggage, they had safely kept it for me. A lovely stay overall.

Temp in room a bit difficult to adjust. - This is upscale room/bathroom, very clean and in a quiet part of town that was easy access to the tram/bus/train stop. The staff was very responsive to messaging. The room temperature was difficiult to control. It was a high of 81 when we were there and needed to leave the window open in the evening but then we could hear more street noise. Overall it is a quiet spot but you can hear everything with the windows open. We saw no-one on our visit.

Angefangen von den herrlichen Kronleuchtern aus Murano Glas, dem großen Bad mit Marmorverkleidung, einem Boxspringbett in Übergröße bis hin zu der modern ausgestatteten Küchenzeile ist alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt, dazu liegen Bildbände und Literatur über Wien bereit, so dass man sich beim Chillen im Wohnzimmer bereits umfassend informieren und schon einen Plan schmieden kann. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich die liebenswerten Gastgeber, ja, die besondere Gastfreundschaft, der man im Roosevelt Stadthaus begegnet! Vielen Dank für alles! Es gibt nichts!

• Morfo (10/5): - We were a party of 7,so we booked 3 rooms. We were pleasantly surprised when the triple room was an entire huge apartment with a spacious kitchen and 2 bedrooms and a living room! The other two rooms (double)were very comfortable as well,and the whole place felt very homely. Especially since we had to spend more time on the property than expected due to the extremely low temperatures of the period we visited. Every chance we had to speak with people working there ,they were extremely polite,very fluent in English so the communication was very good. Overall everything went smoothly and the rooms were very warm as well considering how cold it was outside.

• Steven (10/5): Great service & staff. Beautiful and really clean. Enjoy your time in this fantastic apartment. - Preparation, readiness and greeting was all exceptional. Good emails in readiness for the trip and the team used Whatsapp to keep intouch throughout the trip, including making us aware of shopping opening hours and a national holiday. They also booked us taxi for our return to the airport. The apartment was exceptionally well cleaned and the crockery and cutlery well stocked (an issue we have had on previous bookings). Easy to get in and out of the apartment and the family felt incredibly safe. The upstairs bedroom was a little small, but was as expected as per the pictures. Apart from that, a really beautiful apartment with a very central location. Make sure you check out the Votive church next door (great light show at Xmas) and pre-book all the places you really want to go to, as everywhere we went to as booked out on the day.

• Alan and Gina (10/5): An amazing property that compliments an amazing city. - The unit was located in a a very central location close to tram stops and the metro as well as several main attractions. The unit itself was beautiful with all of the comforts we expected and more. Beautiful decor and layout, everything included. We especially enjoyed coming home each evening to have a coffee, glass of wine or bottled water that was provided as part of the stay. We met Michael as part of our check in and he was extremely helpful throughout our stay with any queries. There was nothing about the property that we did not like. Some feedback that may improve the property could be - the pillows were very soft and flat. Hard to sleep with these. The lighting is very dull and yellow. Some brighter lights in the main living area would be good and finally a full length mirror in the loft at the top of the stairs before you go down would be good
• Dirk (8/5): Sehr schön, wenn man Ruhe will. - Das Stadthaus bietet sehr gemütliche Zimmer in einem noblen beeindruckenden Wohnhaus aus der K&K Zeit. ES gibt eine Tee/Kaffeeküche und auch Getränke frei nach Wahl ( Auch ein Bier oder Wein!). Es gibt Kaffeehäuser und Restaurants fußläufig in der Nähe. Sehr gutes Bett, habe sehr gut geschlafen, absolut ruhig. In direkter Nähe die Votivkirche und der Schottenplatz mit U-Bahn und vielen Straßenbahnen. Dazu noch ein Wort: Die Wiener Linien, ob Straßenbahn oder U-Bahn sind sauber, pünktlich und die Fahrgäste benehmen sich ordentlich. Eine Wohltat, wenn man in Berlin, Frankfurt oder sonstwo in Deutschland den ÖVNP benutzt! Habe ich fast vergessen: Es gibt wunderschöne Bildbände zum anschauen auf dem Zimmer z.B. über die besten Kaffeehäuser in Wien, die Prachtbauten usw. Es gibt kein TV auf dem Zimmer. Erst war ich etwas erstaunt, dann aber froh, denn die Glotze braucht man nicht, wenn über man über WLAN alles Streamen kann! Habe das erst unter "hat mir nicht gefallen" eingetragen, aber rausgenommen, da es evtl. zu einer Abwertung führt, was ich nicht gerechtfertigt finde. Meine negative Einschätzung des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses beruht auf der generell sehr hohen Preisen für Unterkünfte in Wien während der Adventszeit. Unbedingt Restaurantbesuch vorbuchen.

• Favata (10/5): Υπέροχη διαμονή - Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό, το προσωπικό φιλικό και το κρεβάτι άνετο. Ακριβώς αυτό που χρειαζόμασταν. Το μπάνιο ήταν υπέροχο και με αρκετό σαμπουάν. Βρίσκεται 15 λεπτά περπάτημα από το κέντρο και 45 λεπτά περπάτημα από το Μπελβεντέρε. Είναι κοντά σε σούπερ μάρκετ, σε καφέ και σε μετρό. Διαθέτει δωρεάν κρασί, μπύρα, νερό καφέ και μπισκότα για τους θαμώνες. Το προσωπικό φύλαξε τις βαλίτσες μας μέχρι το απόγευμα την τελευταία μέρα μας στη Βιέννη για να μας διευκολύνουν. Τους ευχαριστούμε για όλα! Θα το ξαναπροτιμήσουμε σίγουρη! Όλα ήταν τέλεια. Αν έπρεπε οπωσδήποτε να ζητήσω κάτι ακόμα, ίσως θα ζητούσα περισσότερα τυποποιημένα σνακ στην κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα, αλλά και πάλι τα μπισκότα που είχαν ήταν μια χαρά! Επίσης, το hairdryer είναι αρκετά αδύναμο με αποτέλεσμα να χρειαζόμαστε μία ώρα για να στεγνώσουμε τα μαλλιά μας.

• Maria (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft, die man gerne weiterempfiehlt! - Das Roosevelt Stadthaus ist absolut zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und absolut schön. Das Gebäude ist toll, gegenüber der Votivkirche gelegen. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten sind in nächster Umgebung vorhanden. Es ist trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig. Zimmergröße, Ausstattung und Komfort sind überdurchschnittlich und alles mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Betreiberin war auch super nett und zuvorkommend. Es gibt absolut nichts zu kritisieren. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft weiter und kommen gerne wieder. -

• Christa (10/5): Beautiful Apartment and Gracious Host - Location was amazing and a quick walk to restaurants and tourist destinations. UBahn station was very close and transportation around the city was easy. The building and apartment are beautiful and well appointed with creature comforts. There was a grocery store around the block so with a full kitchen that made breakfasts very easy and less expensive than eating out. There really wasn't anything to dislike!

The furniture, interior design and quality of all of the fittings exceptional. The host could not do enough for you. The small kitchen is very well equiped. The bathroom is just beautiful. The view out the window into the internal court yard and tree is so peaceful. Location could not be better. The view So easy to walk or get the tram or underground to all locations in Vienna. The public / shared areas are just as stylish. The rooms are also very quiet. This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. I personally can't sleep under a dooner. I sleep hot. I like a top sheet which I did not have but I also did not ask for one. I bet the host would have given me this if I asked. I really find it hard to fault anything with this property.

• Eu (10/5): 기대를 아득히 넘어서는 엄청난 퀄리티의 숙소 - 한국 분들 위해서 한국어로 후기 남겨봅니다. 돈을 좀 더 써서 좋은 곳에서 묵고 싶다 싶으면 그냥 무조건 여기로 하세요. 맞이해주는 직원부터 어메니티까지 그냥 완벽하다고 보면 됩니다. 다른 숙소들에서 부족하다고 생각한 점들 중에 그 무엇 하나 빠짐없지 제대로 잘 되어있어서 되게 인간미 없다고 생각이 들 지경이에요. 커피, 차, 술, 물, 간식이 제공되는 공용 미니 라운지에, 관광객들을 위해 매우 잘 정리되어있는 안내문에, 거의 방만큼 넓은 화장실에, 히터도 잘 되어있고, 인테리어도 너무 예쁩니다. 그리고 위치가 그냥 미쳤어요. 집 바로 앞에 보티프 교회가 있는데 넋이 나갈 정도로 아름다운 고딕 건물물이구요, 도심 바로 옆이여서 어디로 가든 금방입니다. 밤에도 주변이 밝아서 하나도 안 무섭고 굉장히 안전해요. 10점밖에 못 준다는 점이 너무 아쉽네요. 비엔나에 신혼여행으로 왔었는데 숙소 덕분에 너무 기분 좋게 지내고 갑니다. 제가 개인 냉장고가 없어서 직원분의 양해를 구하고 공용 냉장고에 가져가지 말아달라는 메모를 붙여서 음료 몇개를 넣어놨었습니다. 근데 설마 했는데 맥주 한 병을 다른 숙박객 분이 몰래 가져가셨더라구요? 고무줄로 다른 거랑 같이 묶어놨는데 맥주만 쏙 빼가고 고무줄은 다시 정성스럽게 제자리로... 물론 숙소 측 잘못은 절대 아니었고 그냥 재밌는 경험이었습니다 ㅋㅋㅋ

• Kirsten (9/5): Beautiful and spacious apartment - Beautifully presented and spacious apartment. Easy location to access much of central Vienna or public transport. Comfortable, quiet and everything provided and thought of. We were lucky the weather had cooled down, but the apartment was quite warm overnight without air conditioning. Fans were provided however that do really help.

• Doris (9/5): Cozy and stylish atmosphere - Friendly hosts. The location, a quiet neighborhood, close to the city centre. In the apartment lobby there is a kitchenette with coffee machine, electric kettle, a selection of tea, water, wine, fridge and a small library, quite helpful if you want to discover or learn more about Vienna. The towels (especially those used for cleaning the water from the shower cabin) can be replaced on demand. The apartments are located in a residential building and in order to reach the lift you need to climb a flight of stairs which with a heavy luggage is quite a challenge, so be prepared!

• Raniah (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location. Views of the cathedral right out of the window. Secure parking at a discounted rate nearby. The host who checked us in was super friendly and really helpful. Nothing felt like too big of a request for them. We had one of the apartments. The kitchen had everything you’d need, and very helpful and clear instructions for how to use the washing machine and dishwasher. Everything was comfortable and very clean. It felt like we were in our own home, but with hosts who would also do anything to accommodate us. Even when I asked for a place where I could purchase an adapter, they provided one themselves. We had privacy, our own space, but also had very helpful hosts right on the end of the phone. If we visit Vienna again we will absolutely stay here.
