• Joseph (9/5): - Location. Close to everything l needed Dealing with padlock. Chain was too short, poor lighting and hard to read numbers
• Jarrod (1/5): - The view !! After my mate and I travelled for four hours, we arrived at the unit at around 8 PM ready to finally settle in and rest for the night. Unfortunately, when we entered the unit, it was immediately obvious that it had not been cleaned properly. The pull-out lounge bed in the main living area had clearly been recently used. The sheets were dirty, the bed was still out, and there was a noticeable smell suggesting someone had recently slept there. After raising this with the owner, we were informed that the cleaner either forgot or did not attend. We then had to leave the apartment so the sheets could be changed. As we entered, it was obvious the lounge bed had been used recently and the room did not smell fresh or clean. The cleanliness issues extended throughout the unit. In the bathroom, there were long black hairs underneath the sink, despite both my mate and I having very short hair. There were also several pubic hairs around the bathroom area, indicating the bathroom had not been properly cleaned or vacuumed. Additionally, as shown in the photos, the walls and light switches were covered in dirty fingerprints and marks, which looked very unhygienic and could have easily been wiped down or repainted. Paying $600 for accommodation that appeared to have been recently used and inadequately cleaned was extremely poor value for money. To the owner’s credit, communication was good and they did arrange for the cleaner to attend, however the only thing done appeared to be changing the sheets. The washing machine was also difficult to operate with no clear instructions provided. On top of that, the mattress on the pull-out lounge was extremely thin, heavily worn, and looked like it had not been replaced for many years. Overall, this was not a pleasant stay and the condition of the unit was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.

I had no access to the building and was told to wait till other guests were walking through the secure front door to gain entry. Had to stand around waiting. Crockery was not clean. Fold out sofa bed had crumbs on it.

• Derek (9/5): - Being in the area for a sporting event, this property was convenient, spacious, comfortable and close to everything that we required. It was clean and contained everything we could need for a short stay. The host was pleasant and accommodating to our needs. Thank you.

• Jennifer (7/5): - location is great, owner gave helpful instructions, the basics were supplied, the apartment was clean enough the kitchen couldve been a little cleaner there were greasy marks on the cupboards, would be nicer if there was a place to hang a coat hanger or make-up bag in bathroom, an unopen long life milk in the fridge upon arrival would be nicer than warm from the cupboard, the second bed/ sofa bed is very uncomfortable.

I was so excited that I didn’t want to go out go a minute also. - Location and view from the property Few items were not in good condition like iron, and used sponge was placed there for dishwashing and no cloth for cleaning. These are very minor items but sometimes we need it on urgent basis and for hygiene purpose we cannot use the these items already used ones.

• Jaco (4/5): A disappointing stay in an unclean apartment and ended with poor communication from the host. - Location is very convenient for any events within the area. Allowed us to have late checkout. When we first arrived, the apartment was clearly not cleaned, there were used towels in the bathroom, dirty carpet, and unwashed bed sheets. We called the host and found out he had forgotten to schedule a cleaner after the previous guests. Because the last tenants hadn’t left the place in terrible condition, we almost might not have noticed it hadn’t been cleaned at all. To his credit, the host came around at midnight with fresh sheets and towels, which we appreciated. During that visit, we had a verbal agreement that he would refund the first night and waive the cleaning fee. However, despite multiple follow-ups through Booking.com and text, he has not responded since. On top of that, the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable, sleeping on the floor would be better. Unless you absolutely have to, I would not recommend staying here. The host is nice but doesn’t seem to know how to properly manage the apartment.

• Samantha (1/5): I would not recommend staying here. - Nil This property was very confusing to access — you have to find street parking (which is minimal), collect the keys, park in the complex car park, and then locate the correct lift. When I entered the apartment, it hadn’t been cleaned. There were dirty dishes, the bed hadn’t been made, and there were no fresh towels. When I contacted the owner, my message was left on “read.” I ended up finding other accommodation and contacted Booking.com, requesting a full refund. The owner claimed he had tried to contact me, so they initially said I would only receive half my money back. I provided proof that this wasn’t true and eventually received a full refund.

• Chris (6/5): Definitely will not stay again, finding the address and getting in a nightmare. - The room was basic and functional, reasonably comfortable and lovely views. Adjacent to parks with lots of pleasant walking options. Finding the apartment complex after dark was a nightmare set well back from road and street numbers vague at best. Once located difficult to get in no reception had to wait for someone to appear in foyer to enter. Once inside directions were fine to get to mailbox for access to keys but reading the lock to insert the code provided was difficult. Then on entering garage with keys trying to locate designated parking spot was again difficult with the numbering random with 183 followed by 56 or similar. Then getting out no exit signage to assist after arriving late and tired recalling exact entry was a problem.

• Brigid (9/5): Good apartment. - Clear easy instructions to get in and the apartment had everything we required. Kitchen was well equipped, including teabags and instant coffee. Some traffic noise, to be expected being close to a highway, but as the apartment is on the 7th floor this was just background noise and didn’t disturb us. Grocery store and restaurants close by. Fast elevators. Good internet. The light in the bedroom was flickering so much we had to turn it off.

• Krystal (4/5): Disappointing - The view and space The cleanliness, you could see fingerprints everywhere and bedding didn't smell anywhere near fresh. Had to try wipe down all surfaces on arrival with only Windex (was the best cleaning supply found.) Bedding smelt like it hasn't been washed well as also terrible washing machine. Have stayed before 2yrs ago and has a nice time but feels like nothing has been cleaned properly since then was probably the same bedding aswell.

• Caroline (7/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay. - Great location, 10 minute walk to Qudos Bank Arena. Nice big clean modern bathroom. The pullout sofa bed in the lounge room was very uncomfortable. We were 3 people staying here, 1 adult in the queen bedroom & 2 teenagers on the sofa bed. A better quality sofa bed would be nice, especially when paying over $300 for a 1 night stay. The designated underground car park for the apartment was very difficult to find, there didn’t seem to be a logical numbering system for the car parking spots.

• Bronwen (4/5): Disappointing and too expensive for the state of the unit. - The view would have been good if the windows were cleaned and if 1 of the blinds worked. The parking was good once we got into the buiding. No one at reception. Difficult parking on arrival. Key locker not as in photograph. No code pad. Locker was unlocked and pulled open to retrieve key. The unit was small. The bed had not been made up - not tucked in! The washer/ drier did not dry the clothes. The place was not clean. The shower screen door has rust problems and was very moldy. The exhaust in the bathroom needs cleaning to remove the mold and dust. It didn't have coffee machine, only limitd sugar available, no tissues, 2 only wardrobe hangers, broken hook on bathroom door, only 2 towels, no floor towel or hand towels or washers. These are normally expected in motel rooms and in other bnb places we have booked. The price was high by comparison with the Meriton building adjacent, which has fantastic inclusions (inclusing a Nespresso machine and supplied pods, for a cheaper price and more modern inclusions) and a better view and was less noisy. A wedge to keep the front door open when carrying luggage would reduce the wear and tear on the door frames.

• Renée (6/5): Building is perfect but the unit we stayed is poor. - Location is perfect The unit needs to clean up. The surface is really dusty. Towels have couple of hair. The check in time is late and the check out time is very early. Check in 3pm and check out 8pm is ridiculous. Floor is not clean, most especially the bathroom, looks like never been clean when we arrived.

Appartment was quite dirty and smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag. Bed wasn’t made up. We had to make our own bed before we could sleep after a long day arrived at apartment Struggling with door lock to get in then to make bed as well 😞. In all very disappointed.

• Sadia (1/5): Very bad and disappointing. The owner is just focused on making money but not providing any quality service. - The car parking spot was good. The shelves in the built in robe are loose and unstable, and one fell on my leg and I got a big bruise. My leg is swollen and painful. It is a hazard and it spoiled my holiday. The sofa bed is too old and appears to be broken from inside. When me and my husband lay down on it, we both slid to the middle of the bed. Definitely there is not support in the middle and we could feel the springs under our back. Both of us took nurofen as it was very painful. The cupboards and shelves were very oily and sticky, felt unclean. The check out time is 8 am, so we had to leave in hurry. The check in is at 3 pm, which is very late then usual. So instead of booking the room for whole day and night, we missed 7 hours of 24 hours. This is waste of money.

• Ashleigh (6/5): Fantastic for two couple, not quite big enough for four. - Location was fantastic. Price was unbeatable. Communication was staff was excellent. Bathroom was very clean. Was quite comfortable for four people. Mattress on the sofa bed wasn’t comfortable at all, no linen provided for sofa bed. Could’ve been cleaner and probably styled a little nicer. But all in all, everything was fine.

The property was not clean as there were :- 1) dirt and debris behind the couch. 2) The coffee table in the balcony was having some dried up coffee stains. 3) Some of the kitchen cabinets were also unclean.
