• Sanjukta (7/5): Cheap & convenient - Great location, affordable considering the location. It's not a luxury accommodation but since didn't pay for the same, can't complain. The rental was pretty clean and had basic facilities that enabled us to cook almost all our meals. Initially, we had minor difficulty in locating the key box and had to call the owner. They should have better instruction when providing the code. Had to look for a hairdryer, which was in a drawer upstairs. A written set of instructions would be so much better. Missed a chopping board in the kitchen area. WC door had no lock and the exhaust fan made a horrid noise as many complained. There was no broom or dustpan. Owners don't communicate much through Booking.com messages or respond to emails as much.
• Dickson (5/5): Good location but place was sparsely appointed and lacking in cleanliness - Location/kitchen equipment Floors and stairs were filthy/ noisy, shrieking bathroom fan needs replacing/ towels were threadbare and one was dirty/there were no toiletries other than handsoap in the bathroom/the corkscrew in the kitchen had no screw so could no open our wine/ someone's old beercans left in bathroom garbage

Das Geschirr und der Kühlschrank und die Kaffeemaschine waren so schmutzig das wir nicht benutzen könnten Wir haben uns dann sofort mit dem Vermieter in Verbindung gesetzt und Ihm von der schmutzigen Wohnung berichtet und auch Bilder geschickt. Darauf darauf haben wir mit dem Vermieter ausgemacht das Wir die Wohnung Stornierungen können und das bezahlte Geld wieder zurück bekommen.

L'appartement n'était pas propre dans l'ensemble (rideau et murs de douche, joints silicone, poussière sur les meubles, micro-ondes, placard, congelateur) Et certains équipements très usés (aération et poignée de porte de salle de bain)
• RODRIGUEZ CLEMENTE (6/5): Correcto porque no es caro. - La ubicacion, no es centrico, pero bien comunicado con transporte publico. La relacion calidad precio es buena, y me parece bien que se exija dejarlo lo mas limpio posible (pero hay que revisar bien todo-una taza del desayuno estaba sucia con restos de algun anterior inquilino y guardada como limpia) La limpieza solo correcta. Los cajones del conjelador tenian cubitos de hielo y algo mas (pan, carne, algo no muy agradable de ver-tengo foto si el dueño quiere verlo) mi sensacion es que el dueño no sabra quien lo dejo porque yo lo vi el primer dia y creo que todavia estara alli hoy. Otra cosa es que si pone en booking que tiene jabon y champu de ducha, tiene que haberlo y no habia nada. Dejamos nosotros lo que nos sobro para el proximo. Luego como no hay persianas es una planta baja con cristalera grandes entraba mucha luz desde que sale el sol.
• Maria (7/5): - Can quickly reach all interesting places via public transport and supermarkets are nearby. Nice and clean beds. Spacious. Good for children. Floor was dusty and unclean as if it hadn't been cleaned in 1 month. The induction cooking stove didnt work with the provided pots/pans. Only the tiniest pan worked. So we could hardly cook anything. The fridge, freezer and microwave are working. A washing machine and dishwasher are present but we did not use them.

Es un local convertido en apartamento. No hay aire acondicionado arriba y hacia calor. La parte de abajo es muy fresca.

• Patrycja (1/5): - Lokalizacja i dość dobrze wyposażona kuchnia Bardzo brudno: brudna kanapa, brudna podłoga, kurz i pająki na kaloryferze, to nie jest apartament, tylko sklep przy głównej ulicy przerobiony na mieszkanie, brak prywatności i nie czuliśmy się bezpiecznie: w łazience zaryglowane drzwi, ale prowadzące na zewnątrz. Główne pomieszczenie to witryna sklepowa osłonięta nieszczelnymi roletami. każdy z ulicy może zajrzeć do środka.

• Anna (8/5): Functional accommodation in good location - Very close to Ostbahnhof and the East Side Gallery. Restaurant next door with reasonable Italian food. Supermarket very close. Walk into the centre in 25 mins. Accommodation is very functional with 2 double sized beds. No frills but perfect for a few nights and a decent space. The road outside is quite noisy so ear plugs useful for sleeping. It also gets quite light in the room on ground level as this is essentially a converted shop and the front is all glass with pull down blinds. Bring an eye mask if light bothers you.

• Jthonestly (3/5): cheap - cheap for berlin . not too far from transportation including a direct s bahn to the airport converted shop partially underground including the ventless bathroom with black mold in the shower grouting. although booking.com said on one level, that was a lie! 14 steps into the dungeon. heating was a joke. normal conversation from sidewalk bled through as well as traffic noise. the flimsy shades kept the unit in only semi darkness. no instructions for tv or washing machine. dirty dish left in mini dishwasher.
• Cara (7/5): Good - Shirt walk from Ostenbanhof train station. Close to East side gallery but limited restaurants nearby. Apartment was large, but floor was dirty on arrival. Well stocked kitchen for self catering. Limited hot water for family of 4 to shower but we just split showers to morning and night. Easy check in with host. Plenty of space for family of 4.
• Yi (6/5): It was okay... - The location was really close to two different grocery stores where you could buy both food and any essentials you needed. It was also a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest train station. Reasonable walking distance to Alexanderplatz (20-30 minute walk). Mattresses were really plush and comfortable and insulation was good (we stayed during December). There were heaters that can be used during winter. The owner also provided water and beers. There is a washing machine but no dryer. Be mindful that the property was seemingly previously a shop and as such it is located levelled with the pedestrians. You can hear pedestrian activity at night. Whilst you are able to open windows, the windows are placed in between the ground floor and bottom floor and as such are only reachable by the staircase. It is a split level property. A living space, kitchen, dining space and a bed were situated on the ground floor. The staircase goes down leads to a second bed and the bathroom which can be imconvenient at times. The shower space was small, and you're unable to turn around without touching shower curtain. It was to our surprise that there was no kettle nor oven. During our stay, we had amenities that were not adequately filled prior to our arrival such as hand wash, shampoo, body wash and toilet paper. Body wash was enough for 1 person (one night), and we were travelling in a group of 3. The owner was unable to re-supply, however they offered monetary compensation to purchase required items.

Fridge with free drinks. Loved it. Near many sights. Great and cheap Italian restaurant next door. nothing to say.

• Tsegmid (7/5): Super location, reasonable price and fully equipped with kitchen! - The location was super close to the Berlin Ostbanhof, which was very important for us as a family travelling with a small child. Secondly, Netto was less than a 10-minute walk away, so we had direct access to grocery shopping. Overall, the apartment was clean, with a kitchen area with everything you need to cook from scratch, and this was critical for us. So, this is an ideal apartment for a family with several children or a group of friends travelling. First, the outside temperature was very hot during our stay, and there was very little air coming in. Most windows were high, so we couldn't reach them. I called one of the hosts for more information. We opened the two lower windows, and the front door to keep the air flowing, which meant that outside noise was coming in. During the night, we had to keep the windows open. Also, the steel stairs to the basement room are pretty steep, so I had to hold my child when going up and down. Perhaps a child gate is necessary to avoid any kind of accident.

• San (6/5): Good location, cheaper area of town, not luxurious but certainly functional. - Location was good. Restaurant outside was great! East-side gallery is very close, and the booklet of information was helpful. The place was comfortable enough, the kitchen was well-stocked. Directions were unclear because one said a lockbox to the right of the door, another to the left of the door, and the address was not precise. But a quick phone call cleared it up Could have had some more pleasantries...it felt a bit like a bachelor pad. But it was clean and functional. The sink in the bathroom did not drain because the plug was stuck so we had to use the kitchen sink for everything. The traffic noise was a bit loud.
• Daniel (9/5): Quite hip with all you need for a short n pleasant stay - Close to imp places in Berlin. You can reach anytime of day or night to the place. Quite roomy, things were well placed, Bedding were nice and hard. All amenities available. Probably need a good shutters from outside for the big windows to shut sound n street lights in the nights and some better closing door system for bath or placement of shower so the water doesn't fall out while bathing..personally don't like the shower curtains touching during bath..n it's a shop converted into housing so right on a busy road ..be ready for it..
• Shauna (9/5): Good, convenient, pleasant. Book with two people if you’re on a budget and it makes way more sense. - Loved how spacious this place was, and many spots to lounge. Cute little kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat. You will need to buy condiments/pepper. (Not sure if that’s a customary thing, I’m used to in Canada if you book someone else’s apartment there’s usually things like ketchup, spices, etc, but it’s really not that big of a deal, just wanted to give the heads up) There was cooking oil provided & coffee, tea, sugar. It’s right on the street so easy to get in and out, lots of clubs in the area and supermarket just down the street. It was very easy to be here The shower head has a large crack in it. That wasn’t too bad but every time I showered I thought it was going to break in half. There were a lot of fruit flies all over when I got in. The walls and windows are very very thin so you can hear everything going on outside and next door.

• Antonio (2/5): Bad experience, budget place, bad value for money - Location, 2 pairs of keys, self check in. It is actually a shop on the street converted in a flat. When I get in I found a dirty car carpet on the table...spiders in the bedroom, very uncomfortable bed (the other one upstairs was better but was not prepared), dust (dont go if you are allergic like i am), smoky smell (no air circulation since dont know when), no shower products, curtains not working (you will get all the lights since 7am).
• Jadwiga (7/5): Good value for money apartment in Berlin - The apartment was in a great location. It was about 10min walk from a underground station and the metro line went directly from the main train station and also to some of the main attractions in Berlin. There were a number of shops and supermarkets nearby. It was within walking distance from East Side Gallery. The communication with the hosts was excellent. The check-in instructions were very clear and they responded very quickly if we had any queries. The kitchen had basic cooking facilities. The apartment was very spacious. Although one of the double beds was in the main living area, there was also a sofa and armchair so the space didn't feel compromised. There was also good flexibility with the beds, as there was a fold-up bed as well which we preferred to use so we could all sleep downstairs and the bed was very comfortable. It seemed that the beds all had different mattresses and one half of the double bed had a very soft mattress which we thought was unusual that a double bed had different softness of mattresses. You also have to remember to bring your own shower gel/shampoo.

• Wilfred (8/5): Balanced good quality price ration ! For young group of friends amazing ! - I like the flat because it's so nice to get out immediately on the street! Table chairs everything is there to have a company of friends and talk . Bad is great ! Location is great ! Price is fair ! Flat size great! I want to buy it ! Perfect for young company! There is lot of comfort option But only fridge is usable because other devices are not working or dirty (water boiler / cooker / tooster ) Also some sockets non functioning! You need to fix this stuff and easy + 1 star !

• Thesixfingeredsavage (7/5): Good - It was a great location, good size, thought by two major transport links. It had good WiFi, a nice Italian restaurant literally next door, and the heating was a bonus. The TV worked with limited channels. Fridge, job, washing machine, dishwasher all included and worked fine. All in all a great find! Cheap and cheerful ^_^ When we were staying there, there was no shower curtain, and the bathroom sink had an issue so we just used the upstairs sink instead.
