What can i do if our flight was 2 hours delayed and our luggages were mishandled Facade of the building is under repair i think so there are scaffoldings everywhere and its dark outside during night no lights available

- Christine (8/5): Séjour agréable dans un appartement très bien situé - Facile d’accès et bien situé dans quartier central proche des transports Appartement confortable et très propre avec une pièce à vivre agréable Assez calme Assez bien équipé Il faudrait revoir peut-être l’éclairage qui est un peu insuffisant sinon RAS sur cet appartement situé au rez-de-chaussée donc assez sombre Mention spéciale pour Booking : il faudrait un peu plus mettre en avant les locations dont le paiement se fait indépendamment de votre site et non par CB. En effet il nous a été demandé par l’hôte présente de payer immédiatement la location à notre arrivée sans nous laisser le temps de nous installer et de façon assez insistante, ce qui a été très désagréable alors que nous avions réservé par votre site. J’ai dû vérifier que je n’avais pas été débité deux fois ! Cela aurait été plus clair nous aurions été mieux préparés (prévoir de faire un paiement par virement ou PayPal si vous ne voulez pas payer en espèces)

Ich hatte das Einzelzimmer 3 in einer WG mit 2 Personen, die Übergabe des Schlüssel erfolgte durch die nette Vermieterin, sauberes Zimmer und Bad, TV und WLAN vorhanden, schöne Küche mit allem was man braucht, super Lage und trotzdem ruhig da im Hinterhof gelegen Komme gerne wieder

Auch gab es einen Abstellraum für Bollerwagen / Kinderwagen Die Küchenecke hat uns leider nicht überzeugt. Kochen mit einer Familie wäre hier schwer gewesen, auch war der Einbau der Küche verbesserungswürdig (Arbeitplatte war nicht richtig über die Ecke verschraubt, Spülmaschine hat teilweise den Eckschrank blockiert). Die Ausstattung an Küchenutensilien jedoch war sehr gut

- B (7/5): Great accommodation, bad host - Great position, extremely clean, has everything you need and great value for the price! Mrs Hoffmann was not friendly at all and didn't really make me feel welcome: there was a misunderstanding on the check-in time and she called me several times and raged at me. Because of that she pettily demanded I pay cash, even though via messagge they clearly claim it is possible to pay by card. Once the new check-in time was agreed in english (21.30) she again got mad at me because she understood the time the German way (20.30) as if that's my fault.

Secure and quiet The host's preference was for payment to be paid in cash as we were from the UK (nonEU). If travelling from the UK, it would be useful if the listing reflected this. Luckily we could access the cash required on this occasion

Host was at the property when we arrived and gave us a full tour of the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location is great, very close to both underground and tram links. Lovely selection of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. The area felt very safe, even at night.

L'immeuble était au fond d'une cour, donc en retrait des bruits de la rue, c'était parfait. Faltaba eso sí, un horno. Cuenta con lavadora y tendedero. Limpio. Buenas comunicación con red de transporte... Apartamento pequeño para grupo de 5. Un solo baño (ya lo sabíamos). El microondas NO funcionaba correctamente, lo comentamos pero no llego a funcionar bien. Es un bajo, pero con tres escalones que dificultará el acceso a personas con movilidad reducida. A nosotros nos fue bien. Calidad/precio aceptable
- Graeme (9/5): Good base for a city break in Berlin - We had a lovely city break staying at this apartment. Everything was clean, the apartment was warm and pretty spacious. Maybe most important, the beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The location was good, close to the U-bahn. Lots of restaurants nearby. The host was friendly. Nothing really. If I was to be picky, there's not a lot of natural light, as it is a ground floor apartment, off a courtyard. This is worse at the moment due to scaffolding. However, we didn't spend a lot of daylight hours inside, so it wasn't a big deal. Also there was a slight smell of damp right at the front door, but not in the rest of the apartment.

- Maria (10/5): A wonderful stay in a quiet, well-located apartment with thoughtful touches - We loved the excellent location, with plenty of public transport options very close to the apartment. At the same time, it was incredibly quiet inside, as the windows face the courtyard and provide excellent sound insulation. The reception was very warm, even though we arrived relatively late. The woman who greeted us (I’m so sorry, I forget names!) was kind, wonderful, and exceptionally pleasant. The beds were comfortable, and all the necessary appliances were available. A special shoutout and heartfelt thanks for the slippers and umbrella provided by the hosts—they were incredibly thoughtful and useful! Also, a rare but much-appreciated feature in rental apartments: two sets of keys! For once, we didn’t have to figure out how to hand keys off to each other. We had some trouble figuring out how to turn on the microwave—it seems like something might be wrong with it. Also, I think, in the summer, noise might be an issue. When I opened the windows to air out the room late in the evening, I could hear music from the street. However, I’m not sure how frequent this is.

Lovely playground in courtyard. Lots of kitchen equipment, many practical extras like the drying rack. Plenty of hand soap, kitchen dish liquid. Love there being Plenty of toilet paper, always a good feeling to have more than enough, because we hate having to buy something so boring as toilet paper when on an exciting journey🤣 Bit tricky keeping belongings tidy due to not many surfaces, especially in the bedroom which was narrow- no room for suitcase or for desk or shelves. Only possible to enter double bed from one side, not practical for people with mobility issues.

Nothing was to much trouble , would definitely recommend. I have no complaints everything was perfect , we had a great holiday.

- Rhys (5/5): Great location - Great location right next to metro and tram. Not far from shops. Awesome coffee machine. Shops right outside and awesome beer garden down the road. Owner was friendly but while we were out she came in and switched off things and left a note saying " remember to turn things off when you leave". Made us feel like she would come in often and check, dunno how many times she did while we weren't there. Double bed was super uncomfortable. - Robert (10/5): a great base for a wonderful trip to Berlin - The location was excellent. It was handy for the S-Bahn, the U-Bahn and tram networks, so getting from the flat about Berlin was easy. Schönhauser Allee is a busy street with many cafes, restaurants and shops, yet the flat looked out into a quiet courtyard. It was warm - despite below zero temperatures in Berlin for most of my stay. It was comfortable and well appointed. Some of the other people sharing the stairs past the flat left the outside door to the courtyard open. It seemed a bit strange, especially as it was so cold.

- Steven (9/5): Great location and opportunity to stay amongst the locals. - Called host and they immediately met us at the front gate. Very friendly and helped us get oriented in the neighborhood. Berlin was very warm while we were there necessitating all windows to be open in the apartment. Despite that, the evenings were relatively quiet in the complex. Folks with mobility issues would have trouble with the steps and (very) high bathtub. Fortunately, that didn't impact us.
- Paula (8/5): Very nice would stay again. - Location and size of apartment. Clean and nicely done. Train was close by and easy to take to anywhere in the city. Courtyard was dark at night and it was a bit loud outside.

- Leung (4/5): Good hardware, but services need improvement. - Room was clean and very well-located, and had a good coffee machine. Host knocked on the door earlier than the agreed checkout time. We agreed on 11am but she was already knocking 10 minutes earlier. The plug to the bathtub was unfortunately also not provided. It gives the impression that the host do not want guests to use the bathtub to reduce water costs.

All the facilities you could need were provided by the apartment and the host that greeted us was friendly and helpful. Definitely would book again. Tiny thing - could do with replacing the pillows, they are thin and a little lumpy. Other than that the apartment was great.

- Angela (8/5): Very good - Great location, easy transport links. Good set up for 5 of us needing 4 beds. Because it is on the ground floor had a lot of neighbourhood noise at night on Fri and Sat. Thoughtless other residents, nothing the owners of this apartment can do about that.
- Helen (8/5): Comfortable, clean, great location, has everything you need. - Located in bustling neighbourhood, it felt safe. It was well equipped and very clean. Unfortunately there was a lingering smell of smoke, possibly from previous guests, but it persisted for our 4 day stay.
- Nancy (9/5): The flat’s tremendous for discovery of Berlin now & historically. - Our host gave us a personal introduction to the flat, was available on site for quick problem solving which turned out not to be necessary, provided amenities like basics for cooking, a full set of great cooking utensils, even coffee beans for the automatic coffee machine. The apt is in a residential neighborhood with plenty of shopping/window shopping, the courtyard is full of bikes, there’s even a superb playground for little kids. The property has the typical Berlin front and inside /back courtyard bldgs. The flat is in the first courtyard so protected from street noise - it is quiet without being lifeless (kids are out playing when not in school). The neighborhood has a grocery chain and terrific health food store just steps away from the flat. We were able to cook decent meals as much as we wanted. Multiple means of public transport in the immediate vicinity. A bike rental a couple blocks away (Kulturbrauerei) we availed ourselves of. There are countless small & affordable restaurants & pubs nearby. We had a week with hot weather and humidity. The flat heats up during the day. We managed the heat in the flat with fans - so in the end no worries.
- Irene (10/5): .Amazing! Perfect apartment and lovely neighborhood. - The apartment was very spacious and the furniture and facilities well thought out and placed. Stayed with a group of 5 and never felt cramped. The location was a bit far out from the center of the city- so the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island etc were about a 30-40 minute train ride away. HOWEVER, the apartment itself is very conveniently located right by the subway station, and the neighborhood where the apartment was located had a large number and large variety of different restaurants, interesting stores, and near Mauerpark where the Sunday flea market takes place. So if you're here for a short time and here mostly for sightseeing, choose a place closer to the city center. But if you're hear for the long term like my group was, it was a wonderful neighborhood to stay the week in. ONLY issue is that it's located a bit far from the center of the city. But the lovely neighborhood definitely makes up for it and didn't feel like a big issue at all because the apartment itself is located so close to a tram stop.

- Maria (8/5): Nice appartment and good location - The appartment is clean and spacious. There was a wonderful coffee machine and they left enough coffee for the stay. The lady who welcomed us was really nice and they didn't have any problem to wait for us even when we arrived quite late due to a delay in our flight. The area is convenient, there are many restaurants and shops, a supermarket in front of the appartment and several tram and metro stations. There were not toiletries, just hand soap. It would be nice to have at least some gel and shampoo. Even if the days were sunny and hot, it was still somehow cold inside the appartment. It is weird that the only payment option is cash. You have to bring an absurdly big amount of money with you.

- Lysann (9/5): Superb - Excellent location- close to supermarkets, shops, eateries, public transport. Apartments look just like the pictures and are located in the courtyard which means it is very quiet and easy to sleep in. Playground in courtyard for young children looks great although no-one used it while we were staying (winter). Apartments are on the ground floor so carrying luggage up steps is not required which is a bonus if heavy. Kitchen is small but has all one needs to prepare a meal. Very friendly and helpful hosts. As the apartments are on the ground floor privacy may be affected. During winter they are quite dark (lighting not very bright), although this could be beneficial during the hot summer. Would have liked a dryer (clothes horse available though).
