• Daniel (10/5): Great for exploring and self-catering - I was so glad I found this place – it was perfect for exploring Cairo. This is a roomy, homely apartment with a washing machine, small balcony, living room with a couch and television, fridge, two bedrooms, a dining area with a clothes stand, bathroom and a kitchen with a gas cooker. It was great being able to do laundry and make breakfast and coffee. The kitchen has a range of utensils – pots, crockery and cutlery and cezve in different sizes for making Turkish coffee. Communication was fantastic and the neighbourhood is bustling with friendly people, so I mostly spent my nights in cafés and resturants within walking distance, soaking up the atmosphere. I could find everything I wanted within a short walk, there's even a bakery next door.
• Tina (5/5): It was fine, but a bit dingy. - Great area. Apartment was not up to standard, but the owner was very nice. Very Dark. Could hear rats outside. There wasnt enough kitchen equiptment.

• Sikario72 (5/5): Passable - Kitchen was very clean and equipped. As a SOLO traveler I was warned that no visitors were allowed in the apartment, very unfriendly attitude from the owner. Who is he thinking I am???. The apartment is TOO BASIC. He could put a sofa, some more furniture... Didn't get the instructions of how to get the key of the apartment on arrival until the very last minute,therefore a consequent stress.
