• Russell (9/5): Lovely apartment! - The apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well kitted out with modern appliances. Our host, Lola, checked us in personally and was super-friendly & helpful! She was responsive on Whatsapp beforehand. The apartment was in a great location just down from Plaza de la Merced with hundreds of restaurants and bars on its doorstep.

• Greg (7/5): It would’ve been an ok stay , but the odour was horrible and made the stay unpleasant. - Modern IKEA style apartment throughout . Gave it nice clean appearance . Dishes weren’t properly washed, you could still see coffee lip marks yon mugs . Fan heating system worked well . However the bedroom with the twin bed had an awful odour . When the heat was on in that room the was an odour that smelt like there was a dead mouse or rat in the air ducts of the fan heater. It was awful. The main bedroom had a queen size bed , my wife and I sleep a king size bed at home . Thought I would let my wife sleep in the queen size bed and I’ll sleep on the twin in the smaller bedroom. There was no way that I could sleep in that room it was awful. I had to shut of the heater and open the door to the outside, so that it would permeate through the whole apartment . Couch needs a repair on the left side arm .
• Anita (3/5): The building lacks insulation - Both the building and the apartment is nicely renovated and the apartment has most of what you need, but we missed a vacuum cleaner since we stayed for a whole week. The location is perfect. We stayed in the apartment for one week and not one single night was it possible to sleep before 1 AM due to terrible noise, not from the street, but from inside the building. Most noise came from the restaurant downstairs – it was as if our bed was placed in the middle of their kitchen. You also hear voices, foot steps, fans and water running in the other apartments. Both the building and the apartment is nicely renovated, but it is such a shame that they have ignored the need of insulation. Under this circumstances the rent is way too high - we do not call this «luxury». It is actuelly one of the worst places we have ever stayed.

• Lenka (10/5): Cozy, pleasant, very clean and well-maintained and equipped apartment in a perfect location. - I'm Lenka :-), booking.com doesn't display my name for some reason right now, but that doesn't matter. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Very nice host Lola, reliable, helpful in everything, responds quickly and solves all questions. The apartment was spotlessly clean, toiletries in the bathroom, cleaning products in the kitchen, cleaning supplies, laundry, drying (in the private patio by the bedroom), ironing - everything was perfect. Cozy and tastefully decorated apartment with very comfortable furniture. Beds very good, both bedrooms without windows to the street, but that's a big plus - absolute peace and quiet for sleeping. The long hallway in the apartment is perfect for morning exercise)), we didn't mind it at all. Nice cozy living room and perfect kitchen and fridge. Air conditioning worked perfectly in all rooms.

• Helen (10/5): - Everything. Rooms at the back. So no street noise. Very comfortable beds heater air con was brilliant. Smart tv so I could cast Netflix. Great location. Equipped kitchen. Will definitely stay again. Also easily contact the host which is reassuring whej travelling with my eldery parents. Also elevator was great. We didn't use the sofa bed but my mam slept one morning on it , not as a bed but she said it was very comfortable. It's new. Nothing. Just heads up. The bed is high. But very comfortable. It was fine for me but I did have to jump a bit off. Just something to consider if you are short. And the other bed is under the bed. We were fine as a party of 3 but something to consider for more people. The double room for my parents was very comfortable

• Birgitta (9/5): Trevlig lägenhet med bra centralt läge i Malaga. - Läget var perfekt och i lägenheten fanns allt man behöver såsom kyl, frys, micro, ugn etc. Trevligt inredd och gott om förvaringsmöjligheter. Trevligt med balkong. AC i båda sovrummen samt i vardagsrummet, mycket bra och tystgående. Tillgänglig och trevlig kontakt, som var mycket tillmötesgående. Lite lyhört. Ingen korg i duschen för tvål och schampo. Mycket damm och smuts under sängen. Liten dubbelsäng för två vuxna personer.
• Shashikant (10/5): Perfect Apartment and Location - Apartment is perfect with 2 rooms, air conditioning in every room, and separate living. Location is 2nd to none, everything we wanted on the doorstep, around 15 mins walk to the beach.

• Paweł (10/5): Nice place, nice location and the owner, can highly recommend - Apartment is very spacious , with living room including kitchen anex plus 2 bedrooms, separate bathroom and toilette and long corridor. Every room has separate air conditioning. The place is fully equipped with all appliances, 2 TV sets and well working wi-fi. Than location is great-you are literally 1 minute walk from beautiful , full of people and energy Old Town. The exact street next to apartment is vibrant but not too loud , you have small balcony to look outside and feel Malaga from the place with small , nice restaurants in sight. There is small store opposite the street but better is convenient Carrefour 250 m further or big supermarket 4 minutes by walk. We stayed 7 nights , visiting often Malagueta Beach which is within 20 minutes walk passing antient Alcazaba. Lola the owner is helpful and responsive, assisting our arrival and answering quickly every question we had during the whole stay. We liked Malaga and the place a lot, can highly recommend..

• Robert (9/5): Clean, quiet bedroom in the back of the apartment. - Location was great...quiet and only blocks away from Plaza de la Merced and the Historic Center. There are nice restaurants nearby, tapas bar, supermarket, hair salon, museums, etc. Overall a big apartment with lots of room to spread out. The master is all the way in the back, away from the main window facing the street, so sleeping was great. Quiet and peaceful. One of the AC remote control did not have batteries. Same as the apartment clock. No batteries. One morning I saw a little critter in the bathroom...I had to take care of it myself. So maybe better pest control.

• Harhen (9/5): Almost perfect but... - Virtually everything was top notch in the apartment and the location/facilities and amenities close by were great. Bright and airy. Great facilities. I would stay there again but for the racket from the cardboard processing equipment There was a cardboard disposal company using the adjacent site for cardboard processing. The noise was most unwelcome especially as they kept working untill 1.30 a.m. every night The locals living in the area tried to stop it, there was arguments and the police turned up. The night time noise continued afterwards regardless. This was the only significant gripe but it shouldn't occur after 5/6 pm in all fairness! We shouldn't have to put up with this on our holidays after paying hard earned money.
• Ronald (10/5): Spacious excellently positioned comfortable apartment - Excellent location in the centre of the old town and right opposite one of our favourite tapas bars. Everywhere you, might want to visit is walkable from the apartment, The Picasso Museum, Cathedral , Malaga Museum, Alcazabar, the port,the beaches and endless bars and restaurants! Lola was a very friendly host and met us ar the apartment to hand over the keys and explain how things worked. The apartment is very spacious , the bed in the main bedroom very comfortable and the heating worked very well. We would stay again. More mugs please as there were only 3. Also , as most people are flying some pepper, preferably with built in grinder. Also basic cleaning equipment ie dustpan, brush and a broom. Otherwise great.
• Branislav (9/5): Superb - We were 2 and stayed 10 days/ 9 nights. Communication with host was great. Apartment is located in city center, grocery shop is 3 mins away, restaurants/bars right on the street. We also rented a car, underground parking place was rented from our host too, only 3-4 mins away from apartment. Some reviews complain about noise from the street, which indeed there is some, usually on fri and sat. However, given usual Spanish dinner time is after 10pm and apartment is in city center, I did not find it something unusual.
• Deirdre (10/5): Location, location - We (two friends) had a lovely five nights in this well maintained, clean and comfortable apartment. It is centrally located in a quiet street (apart from ongoing roadworks) and within a 15 minute walk to beach, port, historic areas and shopping streets. Area felt very safe. Lots of good restaurants, pubs and supermarkets nearby. Communication with host was excellent. Nothing to dislike but it would have been nice to have a blanket available as one of the nights was chilly.
• Claire (7/5): Lovely apartment. I would have liked more outdoor space. - Modern and clean. Central location. Terrible road works outside. Dusty and noisy. Also quite noisy at night. Banging and weird noise after midnight. It often felt like the noise was in the apartment which was a bit worrying. Some kitchen equipment was not up to standard. Broken bottle opener and scissors. It’s nearly impossible to get a bottle opener in Malaga.
• Amin (10/5): excellent property at the best location. will stay here again if returning in future - I loved everything about this apartment - its clean layout, facilities and comfort like home, its location which is right on the edge of old town, meaning one has access without compromising peace and quiet nothing
• Brandley (9/5): Superb - Lovely comfy beds and dark bedrooms It's a shame the road was being dug up outside, but the bedrooms were at the back of the apartment so we weren't woken up by the noise.
• Ivana (9/5): Superb - Great location for city stroll and sightseeing. Comfortable beds. Big great closet. App is right on noisy street, but sleeping rooms are on the other side of the flat, being quiet and great for sleeping. Building well maintained and clean. Great restaurants and stores nereby. Market very close. Having basics in the kitchen and bathrooms was useful. Approx 20 min nice walk to the beach. Street was middle of construction sight. Dust and noise from the morning. Taxi could not approach the app. It would be fare that owner warned us. Kitchen facilities could be better maintained. Balcony is french balcony, and terrase is not a terrase - it can be used only for drying towels after beach. Nevertheless, app is good and served us great during the stay but luxury in naming is overstated.
• Katrin (9/5): Beautiful place with very good location. - Very pretty apartment. There was everything what you need in the kichen: kettle, coffee machine, oven, mickrowave oven, diches. Good wifi. No street noise can be heard in the bedrooms. I am very bad sleeper, but here I slept very well. Only bad thing at the moment, street reconstruction in front of the house. If you want enjoy being in livingroom, it is not possible because of noise during the day. A little bit expencive.

• Tomas (8/5): Nice stay, once the street works are over, even great, I can recommend. - Very professional communication and welcome, excellent location, size of the apartment, air-condition, spacious bathroom, two toilets, two bedrooms, balcony (no view but great to dry the clothes after having washed it), powerful wifi, lot of electric sockets which were well placed around the apartment. Street works just in front of the building, i.e. it was really very noisy from 7am-17/18pm, this could have been communicated in advance. The sofa in the sitting room needs to be changed, it is worn out and very uncomfortable, you can feel the wooden insides when sitting on it. The double bed in the main bedroom is very small, I believe just 140 cm wide.

• Adriana (6/5): Pleasant - The location is amazing, right in the old city, 15 min walk from the beach. ir’s a well equipped apartment in a nice block of flats and the apartment looks nice. The apartment is located on a very busy street and the living room windows aren’t at all soundproof. Therefore it was very noisy during nighttime and impossible to open the window during daytime. In addition the second bedroom is very small and is not suitable for 2 adults, it can fit a kid at best. Last but not least, the apartment was not very clean, the floors were quite dirty and the bathroom shelves had dust and hair in them.

Apartment was very bright and clean in an excellent location for restaurants, bars and a 15 min walk to the beach. Overall would highly recommend. There is a late check in fee to pay. It's listed in the special conditions. I made the host aware months ago that we would arrive late but we were not reminded that this fee would apply. The flight arrived late and this increased the late fee. We had to search around for a cash machine to be able to pay it. For the entire journey I panicked that we would be unable to check in at all as in the special conditions it stated check in after 1am was not possible. We arrived at 12.55am.luckily. This felt like an unnecessarily stressful start to the holiday after a delayed flight. I would recommend ensuring you have euros in case your flight is late or delayed. I would also suggest a clothes horse/air dryer.
