The apartment is very spacious, clean, modern decorated, fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine. Plenty of room to relax including a terrace. TV, Wi-Fi. Comfortable double bed. Close to get to GEM and the Pyramids by uber. Dina, the host provided us with info on restaurants. Overall a good experience. We strongly recommend this property.

• Vincent (9/5): 2 Adults, 2 Children, 5 Nights (Australians) - Amazing penthouse self-contained apartment with kitchen (which has everything, gas cooker, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc), washing machine (washing liquid was provided), and your own (large) private balcony looking directly at the pyramids. We stayed for 5 nights as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) and were really comfortable. Communication throughout the entire stay from the manager was brilliant and was only ever a message away for assistance. They are able to assist with tour guides, taxis etc. Wifi and samsung smart TV and reading books were great. Pyramids are an easy walk away. We did it in under 15min with a pram and 6yr old. New GEM meuseum is a 2km walk away. We also did this with the pram and 6yr old (we had to walk along the road, no footpath for most of the walk) This accommodation is certainly at the higher end of quality and standards for egypt. 9/10 would recommend. I liked everything about this accommodation. These are just continuous improvement observations; - Check in process could have been provided the day before arrival. Communication from the property was via wattsapp. You will need international roaming on arrival to receive the messages. This has the potential to fail/cause issues. -The water heater was quite ineffective. At best we had were luke warm showers/baths.(We stayed during winter) - There are little grocery shops close by (good for snacks, drinks etc) but no good shopping centres within walking distance. - restaurants in the area are average at best. We had one very nice meal across the road at the marriot Hotel restaurant 139 Pavilion (Great food + view). - There is a lift up to the top floor. However, there are 20+ stairs to climb between the ground floor and when you arrive in the room (no wheelchair access).

• Jane (10/5): Fabulous Apartment! - Fabulous apartment! I travel extensively and this is one of the best I've ever stayed in. The balcony and view are exactly as pictured and are the pinnacle of the flat. Inside is also extremely well decorated and designed and comfortable with everything that you need. I love that the bedroom stays really dark for deep sleeps. There's a shop just downstairs for needs like drinking water and anything else basic. Dina is a fabulous host and very responsive and friendly and fun to talk with but also keeps her distance so you have privacy, it's the perfect balance. The area feels very safe to walk around and the new GEM museum is very close. Not to mention of course the giza plateau and pyramids. I even extended a couple extra days because I felt so grounded and comfortable here. Will be back next year! Not a single thing! And I'm pretty picky. I never say that 🤣

Although we didn’t meet the owner Dina, she was in constant contact throughout our stay. We did a 2 day tour with a guide she recommended and had the best time. The apartment has everything you need if looking for a home from home, including a full kitchen, excellent A/C and was spotless. We would highly recommend and will return when next in Cairo. 😊 Nothing

• Claritz (10/5): Exceptional - The Pyramids view and the design of the apartment are as beautiful and real as you see it in photos. Dina (the supper attendant) was extremely helpful and supportive with plenty of personal needs we had as guess. She even supported me in acquiring our missing luggage and even offered medicine when I told her I was sick. Very humanistic and ways of providing support to us as guesses. We truly appreciate her. The keys / lacks were a bit complex to understand at the beginning, but after adapting, we managed to let its tricks. The laundry machine is a bit indecisive. It washes clothes when it wants. 😅 But everything else was perfect.

There is no better view! The apartment was really nice and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Dina lives in the building and helped with the washing machine settings. • Harusaku (10/5): Stunning view of the pyramids - The location and view! I loved how close the place was to the pyramids. It was quiet during the night in the bedroom. I didn't hear the dog barking or the prayer announcement in the early morning. I also liked the interior decor. I wished I could have stayed there longer. We had to carry our luggage taking stairs as the elevator stopped on the 5th floor and the apartment was located 1 floor up. Bur the girl who I think does housekeeping helped us!

• Randolph (10/5): Romantic, perfect location with the most attentive and responsive host - Dina contacted me with exact instructions on how to get access to the property. It was a breeze, and all done without contact. She also recommended the best service to get to and from the airport. I highly recommend doing so to avoid the hustle in Cairo. Everything went smoothly for a flight that came in at midnight. But that was just the beginning. The apartment is beautiful. The balcony is amazing. The view from the balcony gets you as close to the pyramids while still being secluded. The view at night is even better with the lights showing the pyramids in detail. Its worth it just getting those instagram shots from there. A quick walk, gets you to Marriots Musa House, where you can enjoy the resort for dinner (at Dina's recommendation) without paying to stay at the Marriot. We were able to see a wedding while having dinner there. There are also lots of restaurants within walking distance from the apartment. There is a grocery store downstairs and and coffee and desserts/croissants across the street. The apartment has a lot of charm too. If you need absolute quiet to sleep, the bedroom is perfect for this. The living area has a full open glass windows that make the experience even more pleasant from indoors viewing the pyramids from the couch or dinner table. Dina left us some drinks, beer and a platter of delicious fruits. The guava was amazing. My only regret is that I did not eat both of them. We had a bit of a problem, our fault, with leaving some items in the apartment, but even after we checked out, our host continued to assist us with getting the items back. This trip has far exceeded my expectations due to our gracious host and selecting this location for our short time in Cairo. So back to the trip...the apartment is a few minutes from the Great Pyramids, about 15 minutes from most things you can do such as museums and tours. We were able to see everything we wanted within one day and left very happy for our time spent. Shukran!

If I am ever asked for a place to stay in Cairo, this is easily first choice. Nothing could have been better!

Everything we wanted from our stay. - The view was amazing, the internet was great (especially for Egypt standards!), and all internal facilities were of great quality with relaxing furnishings. Very minor issues. There wasn't any dishwashing detergent so we had to buy some. And most food options for delivery in the area are closed and other food options don't deliver to the area making breakfast on the terrace something you had to pre-plan the night before. Both had easy fixes but were not as we had expected. As always our Host Dina was very helpful in trying to find us the most convenient fixes.

• Susan (9/5): La Perle Pyramids is a one of a kind Egyptian experience - The view of the Pyramids from the terrace at La Perle is spectacular and the apartment was very spacious for 2 people. The location is an easy walk to an interesting aromatherapy center, dining, and market area. The host was incredibly responsive to any communication and checked in to see how things were going. The doorman kindly carried our bags up the last flight of stairs beyond the elevator and was readily available when we couldn't get the hang of the lock. Bed was comfy and the space was clean. We enjoyed the view day + night and enjoyed dancing on the terrace to tunes that wafted up from the nearby Mena House one evening. We appreciated being able to do a 3 day booking. La Perle Pyramids is perfect for travelers who like a little adventure and don't expect the atmosphere and refinement of the Marriott. A list of local favorites and what is nearby could be good to have in the apartment. Making sure everthing in the apartment works well like the shower door closes properly, light fixtures have bulbs, and the stairs are clean would be nice attention to detail. The property doesn't have a sign identifying it, don't let this scare you upon arrival as the appearance inside is exctly as pictured!

• Andrew (10/5): Amazing location, wonderful host! - Amazing location, pyramids right outside the window!! Very comfortable, 'home from home' with all facilities, kettle, cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer. Very comfy sofa and chairs and extras, like boxes of tissues. The host Dina was great - when we arrived (after a long trip and terrible traffic from the airport) we just wanted to cook something quick for dinner and go to bed. My husband bought pasta and sauce from the nearby petrol station (there is also a cute convenience store next door that sells the basics) but we couldn't get the hob to light. We called Dina and she told us to go downstairs to her Mum's apartment (in same building ) and she would cook it for us! Not only did "Mum' cook it, she made us coffee and gave us cake and was lovely, without speaking the same language! Amazing hospitality!! Dina also arranged a guide and driver who were both excellent! Not having a cooker that worked was a pain but as I said, Dina solved the problem immediately (or rather her Mum did!) The location is rather noisy as it is so close to the pyramids, so there was a bit of road noise and dogs barking at night but if you close the bedroom door it blocks out most of the sound and it was far outweighed by the wonderful view!

And our Facebook comments are going crazy Loved that they had an iron, hairdyer and a really warm heater in the bedroom Water pressure was inconsistent, posing problems with our shower. No toiletries apart from a bottle of shampoo, with barely enough left and another body lotion which we were not sure could be used. Difficult to find clean and reasonably priced restaurants. Ended up choosing the easy option at The Marriot

• Anonymous (10/5): I’m from America and I stayed here with one guy and one girl we are all friends and had an excellent stay. - The view on a huge balcony was amazing loved the kitchen didn’t use it much because we only stayed two days in Cairo. The WiFi worked just make sure to bring your own towels but that’s like in a lot of places you will stay in Cairo. The host was excellent she stayed up to 3am to make sure we got in ok from the airport and in the room. An always checked on us great hospitality. it’s 5mins from the Giza pyramid and Theres a little store you can get stuff from by the hotel. I recommend every thing was good

Has everything you need for a stay to visit the pyramids. The host was so lovely and helped me with a later check out the next day as I needed somewhere to store my bags. The staff onsite who helped with bags were there until midnight to help me check in and were so lovely. I would highly recommend this amazing apartment! The location was a little difficult for both my drivers both days to find, so just needs some clarification when booking :) wouldn’t mark this as a negative as it didn’t affect my stay, but just something to note!
