We enjoyed the architecture of the apartment, the high ceilings, and the decorated tiles. Showers were hot and wonderful and they had a washing machine that we put to good use. The dryer was not working.

We've arrived late at night, and Carlos came to meet us, which is very rare in the digital world we live in. It was a really nice gesture.

Menzione speciale ai proprietari e alla loro collaboratrice; si sono dimostrati molto gentili e disponibili. Ci hanno accordato un late check-in e, a causa di un ritardo del volo, ci hanno aspettato fino a tardi. Il giorno del check-out, inoltre, visto che il nostro volo sarebbe partito al pomeriggio, hanno permesso che lasciassimo i bagagli in luogo sicuro e senza alcun costo aggiuntivo.

• Stoney (9/5): Great apartment, great location and great understanding owner :o) - The apartment was very central and chosen due to its easy proximity to a metro station, local attractions we were visiting and because it suited the number in our party - three couples. Two people had to sleep in single rooms but that also suited us (heavy snoring partner!) We liked that it was all on the ground floor (albeit there are a few steps up to the apartment once inside the building) the general space and having two bathrooms. The apartment is old (historic) but well maintained and in good upkeep. There was ample seating and we liked having the bedding and towels avoiding the need to take our own. The owner was very accommodating regarding arrival and payment which was very much appreciated. It was airy and light but a little draughty in winter. We countered that by keeping internal doors closed to maintain heat so not a big issue. The apartment is old (historic) but well maintained and in good upkeep. Two of the bedrooms are close to a main road and therefore heard traffic noise, particularly at night. We always take earplugs as we are light sleepers but something to be aware of. The wooden shutters block out light but not sound due to age of property. Again not a deal breaker for us but something worth knowing.

• Stephanie (10/5): Great apartment for a family of 5 looking to explore Barcelona - Even before we arrived, communication with Olga and Carlos was fantastic. They were very helpful and shared their local knowledge freely. The location of the apartment was great. Close to public transport but we were also able to walk to many of the city’s hot-spots. As a family of 5, we found the apartment very spacious and perfect for us. The apartment was very clean throughout and we had access to everything we could need inside. Overall we had a brilliant stay in Barcelona.

• Fawzia (7/5): Lovelh host, clean and an apartment with good location but really need comfortable beds - This property was in a good location, clean and the host was lovely and communicated very well. The attention to detail was great by host. The toilet, welcome snack, and kitchen was equipped with everything you need. These are suggestion for improvement. The accommodation all had single beds and the beds were not comfortable. The beds moved and the mattress were very thin. Even the main bedroom there is two single beds and one of the bed sinks and moves as the person moved through the night. More towels can be given for people who stay longer. There should a few spare one to use in case needed. Overall lovely host and love the location but the beds have let us down because we were all tired and didn’t manage to get good sleep.

• Kyle (8/5): A nice flat with easy access to the modernist architecture of Barcelona - I really liked the location and the modernist design of the apartment. It was so cool to be in a place that had a truly unique feel to it. You have easy access to many restaurants and sites directly from your place. If you want to see the modernist architecture of Barcelona, this is a great place to start. It was a couple of hot days in Barcelona, and the apartment with the fans was hard to cool down a lot.

The flat is very large, nicely decorated and supplied everything we needed and more! Highly recommend this place for a family or large group. No negative feedback, it was great.

• Annmarie (5/5): Passable - Location was great for accessing public transportation, shopping and restaurants. The towels provided were old and should be replaced. The mattresses need to be updated. There was also quite a bit of dust in the bedroom I slept in. Unfortunately, there was also construction work going on in the building so there was a lot of banging.

Love the Property! - The apartment is large with interesting layout, it's like the type of layout that reminds me of wealthy family in ancient Spain where they have main bedroom, drawing room (room for the servants) :P. Our family of 4 people all find our preferred rooms to stay and the kitchen is well equipped so we also cooked during our stay. The host Carlos is awesome, he waited and met us at the door when we arrived and provided us a tour in the property. The tea and coffee provided were plenty the welcome peanuts and water bottles were a nice touch too. Location is great, very easy to walk to a lot of attractions, subway station is steps away if preferred to go about by metro. On the day we fly out Barcelona, it's easy for us to push our suitcases to the subway and take the train to the airport with EUR5.5/person. We love the apartment and will totally rebook it if we visit Barcelona again. Thank you Carlos! I wouldn't say this is something we don't like, but more like suggesting for improvement for guest comfort - the towels provided were a bit old and rough. Would be better if Carlos can replace them with new white soft towels. The other thing is the mattress are also a bit old, for example, our full size bed which was made with two twin beds pushed together, one of them actually sunk down more than the other and made noises quite a bit. I am sure if the mattress are replaced with newer/firm ones, guests will be even happier.

Responsive and helpful host all 5 in our group found the beds uncomfortable- very small size and ready for replacement in our opinion- same went for the pillows and bath towels which were scratchy .

• Mehmey (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in the apartment with 4 adults and 2 kids. The apartment has an exellent location, is also designed with comfortable furnitures. In the kitchen we had eveything (plates, glasses, coffee machine with Coffees as well, kettle, all the things you have in your home). There were 4 great rooms with 2 bathrooms. We had enough towels, toilet papers, shampoo and many other things in the bathroom. Everything was so clean and ready to use. Thanks to Carlos for his attention and great help to make us feel home. Never hesitate to stay here if you have found availability!!!

The apartment has 6 beds and 4 separate bedrooms. Nice kitchen and 3 showers and 2 toilets. Great for big families.

• Ben (6/5): Family visit August 2023 - The location is great, you can easily walk to most main sights. There is lots of space. The lounge is a beautiful room to relax in. Maybe to be expected in August but the apartment was extremely hot and sleeping was very difficult despite the fans. Sadly no air conditioning. It is a beautiful old flat but several areas look tired and worn and are in need of renovation (bathrooms, kitchen appliances etc). Mould in main shower and small bathroom had lots of cracked flaking paint. Beds and bedding could also be more up to date. Main bathroom shower was very slippery and a handle would be a good idea to assist on the steps to the shower.

• Travelcrazed (8/5): Very good - Carlos met us early in the morning as our flight arrived early and handed us the key, he was gracious and allowed us to check in early. This was very much appreciated. The apartment is very big and comfortable with 4Br and two bathrooms. It is super charming with character you expect from an older apartment in Barcelona. The apartment had a washer which was very convenient and all kitchen amenities needed. The host also had bathrooms toiletries like Qtips/face wipes which was appreciated. Overall we were very happy with our stay. There were a couple of areas of improvement which we provided to host and he said he would take care of it. One of the showers needs some cosmetic improvements (some dry wall coming off) but water pressure was great. The stove was a bit tricky to use but we figured it out.
• Estephan-pisani (9/5): Can’t wait to come back! Had the best time! - The location was so easily accessible to all of Barcelona’s wonderful sites. Carlos was a phenomenal host. So welcoming and accommodating. We loved the home and it’s traditional Spanish charm. High ceilings and beautiful tiling/mouldings The only complaint from me (and it’s probably because I’m American lol) is that we came on a super hot week and there is no AC which is not uncommon in most of Europe. There was a fan provided in every bedroom however.

• Ng (4/5): The apartment was a real disappointment. - Carlos contacted my via Whatsapp while we were enroute to Barcelona via train. He was waiting for me out side the apartment before our arrival. Check in was a breeze with Carlos explaining everything in english. The apartment was on the 1st floor and was stocked with all basic amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. Unfortunately, we didn't know there was an ongoing construction immediately outside the apartment They were hacking and retiling the pavement and walkway for almost the entire stretch of road. It was really dirty, dusty and noisy. There was a stench of sewer outside the apartment but fortunately not detected inside the apartment. We were expecting a modern apartment given its name and the pics we saw on booking.com. In reality the apartment was rather old/dated, doors were creaky, the beds were rather soft and not comfortable. It was rather hot and noisy given the construction which continued till 6.30- 7pm. The tubs in the bathrooms are rather slippery and there was no rubber mats to prevent slips. This is a real safety concern as we had several potential slips during our stay. Suggest the management seriously consider providing non slip mats in the bathrooms. Water pressure was also another concern so both bathrooms cannot be use to shower at the same time. The baby cot we requested did not come with a mattress and we had to specifically requested for one.

• Craig (9/5): Wonderful central apartment with lots of space - Location, high ceilings, on first floor making it easy to come and go, two bathrooms, and the nice living room and dining room Two bedrooms are large enough for couples and two only for singles. It is lucky our other son and his girlfriend didn't pitch up... They would have had to sleep in separate rooms.

As one of the hosts in Vienna,we always see how another hosts design,decorate,host and the items they have provided for guests. It was a great pleasure to meet the host and also communicate and we exchange the information. The apartment is located near the L4 Yellow Line,Girona station.If someone would want to rent this apartment and take the public transport to here,i would recommend you all to directly place the station L4 Yellow Line Girona. The apartment is located at the ground floor which is quite convenient for those whom have big luggages or couldn't walk upstairs or having leg problems. There has 6 single beds in 4 rooms and you won't be easily disturbed by someone whom snore during their sleep. You may hear some subway's noise from the ground since it is just within 200 meters from the Subway Station but this is not the fault from the owner/host (uncontrollable factors). Would suggest those guests whom have light sleeping issues,just bring your own earplugs to have a better sleep :) sometimes ,if we know if we are more sensitive than others,we just solve the issues on ourselves. The host is very communicative, attentive, friendly and solve your issues within few minutes. All in all,it is a great experience with the host thought there was a minor bed issues but it was solved directly and speedily. I have privately informed the host how to make it better and i know he will make the apartment to be one of the most comfortable places to let other guests to stay. I have faith on him that he will make it better and better for other guests :)

Location was wonderful! unfortunately there was lots of construction going on outside our windows, so it made for a lot of noise. if it wasn’t for that it would’ve been perfect!
