• Marinela (8/5): - Very close to the city centre and easily accessible by metro and bus. Clean renovated apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Very good customer service for our check-in and very polite. There was no elevator and if you have a lot of luggage it cab be challenging. The walls of the apartment need a good clean or repainting. Everything else was very nice.

• Miguel Ángel (7/5): Estupenda opción para una escapada - Buena ubicación. Estupenda terraza. Incómodo acceso , escalera estrecha y sin ascensor. Aparcamiento complicado de pago obligado. Poca información del anfitrión. Horarios estrictos. Difícil acceso a la terraza.
• Marcela (9/5): Agradable - Apartamento nuevo. Había Café, zumo, galletas de cortesía. Tiene todo lo necesario si quieres cocinar. Las habitaciones que dan a la acera son un poco ruidosas. Está sobre una Avenida muy concurrida y en el Bajo hay un bar y se oye bastante ( aunque tienen doble vidrio en las ventanas). Con respecto a la entrada check in , es todo por un link y app del móvil, si no tienes señal de internet o batería de móvil, no podrás ingresar al apartamento. Ten en cuenta llevar el móvil con carga. Es fundamental eso. Relación precio, si bien está bien ubicado y está decorado a nuevo nos ha parecido un poco caro comparado con un hotel.

Łóżeczko dziecięce i krzesełko do karmienia tez nam sporo ułatwiło. W dniu przyjazdu na stole czekał na nas zapas soczków w kartoniku, i babeczki bezglutenowe! To przypadek, ale jestem osobą unikającą glutenu, więc strzał w dziesiątkę. Za mało papieru toaletowego ;) 2 rolki na 4-osobową rodzinę to trochę mało. A o braku papieru zorientowaliśmy się 3. Dnia wieczorem, i trzeba było lecieć na szybko do sklepu ;)

• Eryn (8/5): Fantastic apartment in an even better location! - Fantastic location, views of Sagrada Familia and close metro and tram stops. Beach is walking distance. The app to access is so handy and removes key stress, but good that they still have normal ones! Apartment is clean with good facilities. Roof terrace is absolutely incredible with all day sun. Beds are memory foam so super comfy! Lots of steps (often the case in Barcelona apartment blocks) aren’t great if you have mobility issues! Could have done with a few more dish washer tablets and bin bags. There was a weird intermittent buzzing in one of the bedrooms, which we think might have been the aircon?

I can hear very clearly what the neighbours talking about and it’s really annoying when we want to sleep. Also, the property doesn’t have any lift. We are carrying three luggages to 2nd floor. I don’t recommend if you have heavy luggages. Last, when I arrive the property, I can’t find my room. The staff didn’t tell me where exactly is my room located, I don’t even know which floor is it. Then, I call the staff but no one answers. They reply me in the app after an hour. It’s very disappointing.

• Yifan (3/5): Poor - Location, link to open doors very convenient First, the rooms are actually smaller than expected, then the AC is not functioning well, it is noisy and in a certain frequency. It affects our sleep a lot. Then, optionally, we asked whether we can adjust the check out time an hour later and were rejected. In other places, this should be easily negotiable. Finally, the cleaner came 5min before the check out time and asked us to leave very rudely, we almost had a fight... In total, I don't feel good at all.

• Romuald (8/5): Nice accomodation, well located and connected to public transports. - Property was clean and looked like it was recently refurbished. All facilities and appliances were available to be able to cook ourselves. Welcome coffee and muffins were available. Walking distance to Sagrada Familia and not far away from the sea front either. The lack of sitting area to chill wasn't great. The pallett behind the door with a small cushion was pretty hard and uncomfortable and only one person could sit there. Having said that we spent more time out so didn't use it but for a 3 bedrooms apartment it's a bit off balance.

• Cq (3/5): Checking in process very unfriendly - I like the location and the apartment The checking process was terrible, one staff member was actually very mean saying they have explained several times. I couldn't pay the city taxes with my credit card as the bank sent a code to my phone in Canada and that couldn't be changed to email. Spent 2 hours waiting outside of the apartment to get in in the middle of the night with a minor. Spent about 70 minutes trying on the telephone to contact the property. Finally someone opened remotely. It was only the next day that one other staff member I don't remember her name offered to pick up the payment in cash which was the best solution, thank you whoever she was, very smart and client oriented girl. I had hoped for an elevator as we were in the attic and carrying luggage there was not fun. I would not normally complain about this as we can also do some exercise going up and down the stairs but after waiting 2 hours outside and after the flight not very amusing. The checking process ruined our Barcelona experience and a bit of wine with olives did not fix it.

• Veronika (9/5): Superb - Easy self-checkin so you can arrive even at night, which we really appreciated as not many apartments in Barcelona had such possibility. 10 minutes walk to the beach. 15 minutes walk to Sagrada familia. About 28€ ride by Cabify from the airport at night. Kitchen fully equipped, terrace was a good place to have breakfast at. Comfy beds (expect the couch) The bathroom was extremely small especially for 4 people, you are not able to be in bathroom when somebody else is in. The couch was broken, it overturned with every other move so it was not possible to have the couch open and sit on it at the same time as it was not stable. No elevator.

The door is in the small bedroom behind the curtain) We booked this for 4 adults, assuming there would be four beds - there were a total of three single beds and one sofa bed, leaving someone an uncomfortable stay in the kitchen/living area where we had to walk through to get to the bathroom, so no privacy.

• Alexandra (7/5): Overall we enjoyed the stay, should improve communication between host and customer. - You can access the building using a link sent by the owner, the link can open both the building door and the one from the apartment. It's easy this way because you can always leave the keys inside. The apartment is located in a nice area, close to the city center and Marina subway station. It has access to a really nice terrace with a great view. We would have appreciated an earlier check in, the check was only available starting with 17:00 and we arrived early in the morning. I tried to contact the owners to ask for an earlier check in but I got a standardized answer. It was quite difficult to identify the building at first, i wouldn't have managed it without the help of some kind neighbours, the instructions you get from the host don't even mention which floor you have to get to. We booked the apartment for 4 people so they knew we will use the couch as well, the couch was still broken (and I saw this mentioned on other reviews before). We would have expected to find some basic stuff in the kitchen, such as salt and sugar. They only provide a small quantity of dishwasher soap and one extra trash bag.

Walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions, restaurants etc. 5 minutes walk to Metro and bus routes. Only one pillow each. Safe didn't work but we were only there a few days so didn't contact the owner. Sofa bed couldn't really be used as a sofa as all the seating slid off when it was sat on. Not really an issue for is as we were out all the time. Noisy air-conditioning in one of the bedrooms.

• Luke (5/5): Passable - The beds were good. Checking in was an absolute mess. They require you to checkin via an app which you can then use to open the door. It just didn't work, and it took 90 minutes to get someone to come out to the property to let us in. The kitchen was ok. It didn't have a kitchen knife, but multiple bread knives for some reason. Don't expect to be able to cook a proper meal. The clothes dryer also didn't work.

• Culann (8/5): Great staff, great location, good accommodation, fair value - The location was great: next to a Metro stop (Marina) and a short 20 minute walk to the beach. The apartment overall was quiet and clean. We had some minor issues but the Canela Homes host was very quick to respond. Fair value overall. The advertised "City View" and "Balcony" features are a little mis-leading. In our apartment the windows faced into the internal courtyard or the back of the house - no city view for us! And there was not a balcony in our apartment that one could sit out in. So the lack of those 2 features was disappointing. Also key/entry was a little problematic: the physical key took quite a bit of wriggling in the lock to get the door open. The App/link entry is good tech but if you prefer old-school lock/key then you'll need patience...
