• Anna (10/5): - Apartament bardzo dobrze wyposażony, na miejscu było wszystko, co potrzebne. Cudowny właściciel. Wszędzie blisko. Lokalizacja w dzielnicy emigrantów, niezbyt przyjemnie, ale nikt nie miał do nas problemu.

• Jennifer (10/5): This place was perfect for a large family with kids. - This apartment was perfect for our stay! It had everything we could have ever needed - including umbrellas! The host was also super helpful when he met us to provide the keys. We even had a nice gift of chocolate and wine waiting for us. He provided tips on how to get to key places, metro tickets, and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Barcelona. Nothing
• Jean Ai (9/5): Exactly what our group of 8 needed - David, the host, was brilliant and super helpful with suggestions and replying to questions. Location is amazing; just off a busy street, and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, but still very, very quiet at night. The property is very thoughtfully designed (for example, David installed air-conditioning in the living room for the warmer months). WiFi was good enough to work with. There are ingredients left behind from previous guests, like salt and pepper which we were free to use. David also gifted us with a bar of chocolate and a bottle of Brut, thank you! I liked the fact it felt like a home away from home; we got comfortable there very quickly. I wish the shower water pressure was a little stronger but I totally understand about old buildings!

• Marta (9/5): - Apartament w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji (sama dzielnica jest bardzo multikulturowa i bardzo mmmhh „aromatyczna” tzn. unoszące się różne zapachy przygotowywanych posiłków”😉) Do większości atrakcji można swobodnie dotrzeć w kilkanaście minut pieszo. W pobliżu restauracje i sklepy spożywcze. Od momentu rezerwacji David przesyłał wyjaśnienia dotyczące samego apartamentu, żeby nie było żadnych nieporozumień. Nasz samolot był opóźniony a dodatkowo był problem z pociągami, którymi chcieliśmy dotrzeć z lotniska do centrum. David był z nami w stałym kontakcie i upewniał się czy wszystko w porządku, wykazywał zainteresowanie naszymi problemami, co sprawiało że czuliśmy się bardzo zaopiekowani. Dodatkowo, po dotarciu do apartamentu David udzielił nam szczegółowych wskazówek odnośnie komunikacji i atrakcji oraz podzielił się subiektywną opinią w temacie godnych polecenia restauracji a w lodówce czekała na nas miła niespodzianka na powitanie. Sam apartament jest dobrze wyposażony chociaż może tu i ówdzie wymagałby jakiegoś małego remontu i jeżeli ktoś ma naturę pedanta być może gruntowniejszego sprzątania. Niemniej jednak dla nas nie było to problemem. W końcu nie wynajmowaliśmy apartamentu sieci Marriott. Ogólnie nam się mieszkało wygodnie, a kontakt z właścicielem był rewelacyjny i chętnie tu wrócimy

• Falk (10/5): Klasse zentrale Unterkunft, freundlicher Vermieter - Begrüßung mit Schoki, Schampus und 2x 8l Wasserflaschen. Klasse! Super freundlicher Vermieter, der uns die Umgebung erklärt hat. Klimatisierung war super. Wir mussten nicht schwitzen trotz jeden Tag 30 Grad. Lediglich der Ausblick könnte besser sein, aber in der engen Altstadt kann man das nicht erwarten.

• Lorrie (9/5): Superb - We were met by the exceptionally helpful host. We were given a map, directions, ideas of things to see and do, and location for closest/best supermarket. Location was convenient and we could walk everywhere. Nothing. Catered well for our needs.

• Peter (9/5): Big comfortable apartment in El Raval - We are a family of 3. We had a 2 bedroom apartment in an older building. David our host was great. Met us outside and showed us around the flat and gave us excellent local recommendations. Handy to everything. 5 minutes walk to Aldi. 5 minutes to dozens of great tapas bars. Gothic Quarter and Guell Port is 10 minutes walk. Mont Juic is a bus ride away or you can walk there in about half an hour. Sure there are drunks and homeless around but they keep to themselves. Street always seems to have a lot of rubbish lying around. The apartment was comfortable for 3 people. Plenty of space to relax. There are some things that need repair but it's not The Ritz. Full kitchen is handy. We didn't use the stove or oven but did use nespresso, microwave and toaster. Washing machine and drying rack came in handy because we were there for a week. It's pretty quiet considering the busy streets outside. The uneven flooring near the kitchen was annoying. The shower wall tiles are not ceramic and are lifting. They need to be replaced. But those are just minor annoyances.

The Amazing Owner, David David truly went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. From the moment we checked in, he was there to greet us, give us a detailed walkthrough of the apartment, and ensure we felt comfortable. He explained how to navigate the metro, shared his favorite family-recommended restaurants, and when my wife and I had to leave early, he kindly arranged a cab for my in-laws. His hospitality and care were exceptional, making us feel at home. 2. Perfect Location The apartment is situated in the heart of Barcelona’s Old Town, making it incredibly convenient. Restaurants and grocery stores are just steps away, and the many choices meant we never had to go far for anything. 3. Souvenir Shopping Galore For those looking to bring a piece of Barcelona back home, the area is packed with fantastic souvenir shops. It’s a shopper’s paradise, especially for keepsakes! 4. A Functional Elevator While small, the elevator was a fantastic feature and a lifesaver for carrying luggage and groceries—a rare find in many historic buildings. In short, this was one of the best stays we’ve had during our travels. The combination of a fantastic host, an unbeatable location, and thoughtful conveniences made our time in Barcelona unforgettable. Thank you, David, and BCN-Rentals Apartments, for such an incredible experience! While our stay was overall fantastic, there were a couple of aspects worth mentioning: 1. The Apartment is Small The size of the apartment (50 sqm) was not a surprise to us—David made this very clear when we booked, and he reiterated it again when we checked in. We appreciated his transparency, but it’s important to note that the space is quite compact, especially for a group. 2. Limited Ventilation in the Second Room The second bedroom lacks a window, which makes ventilation minimal. While it wasn’t a major issue for us, it’s something to consider if good airflow is a priority. That said, these were minor drawbacks in an otherwise excellent stay, and they didn’t take away from the overall experience. David’s honesty and the apartment’s other fantastic features more than made up for these limitations.

Just 10 min to La Rambla Street and 5 min to the metro station. - all kitchen facilities were available if you want to cook sometime. Also washing machine (we did not use) - Smart TV and fast Internet - apartment was very calm and we could sleep very well. - clean and bright apartment - elevator in the building - some days we were putting heating during the night and in the morning some windows were wet. It is most likely because of the Mediterranean climate over here. We were just a bit afraid that we are doing something wrong and we do not know it from the northern Europe houses. But it is more like our thoughts than minus.
