Pulut huutelivat pitkin aamuyötä takapihalla ja takapiha oli epäsiisti ja erittäin sotkuinen täynnä pulunjätöksiä. Toinen ilmalämpöpumppi ei toiminut (makuuhuone). Kahvikoneongelma korjattiin.
• Mateusz (8/5): Przyzwoite miejsce w dobrej lokalizacji, z potencjałem na poprawę - - świetna lokalizacja (blisko stare miasto, sklepy i lokale) - obiekt czysty i zadbany - dobry kontakt z właścicielem i obsługą - wieczorami potrafiło być dość chłodno - w obiekcie wydawało się jakby panowała wilgoć (zarówno zapach jak i wilgotność np. Pościeli) - bardzo ciężka i gruba kołdra (kwestia gustu)

• Christine (8/5): Prima appartement - Het appartement lag perfect. Net buiten de drukte. Het is modern ingericht. Alles is er. Fijn bed. Mooie badkamer. Fijn bankje. Het binnenkomen van het gebouw en het appartement ging helemaal mis doordat we de app niet werkend kregen maar we werden snel de duidelijk geholpen via WhatsApp.

• Andre (7/5): Enjoyed our stay, would return again. - Great location, easy access with codes for opening doors, very pleasant stay. We didn't use the little courtyard as pigeons made it unpleasant. It was not a big deal as we were away for most of the time.

• Lynn (6/5): Great apartment when not leaking and no roadworks - We stayed in the penthouse apartment with roof terrace for 4 weeks feb-March. Unfortunately Malaga had a lot of rain for most of our stay and consequently we had a massive leak in the second bathroom so we could not use it for the last week or so as the ceiling was completely mouldy and about to fall in. We also had another leak in the apartment hallway which I mopped up daily. This could have been avoided if the gutters had been looked after properly and the foliage removed from them. The apartment is really nice but the leaks spoilt out holiday. The owner visited us but there was nothing they could do until we had vacated. Another apartment was not offered or any sort of compensation. The state of the roads outside was ridiculous. I agree with another review that they should not have rented out the apartments whilst this mess and noise is ongoing. It definitely would not be allowed in the UK due to the safety aspect. Having to manoeuvre our way round diggers and generators was not something we had looked forward to. The noise was awful some days as they were right under our windows so we had to keep them shut. The noise could be heard from the roof terrace too. All such a shame because it’s a great house and nicely renovated and excellent location for Plaza de La Merced. We love Malaga and will be back again next year for sure but maybe not this apartment unless it’s been totally repaired and the roads have been fixed. The road itself is also a bit derelict but hopefully they will renovate some time soon. The communications we had with the agent were pretty good but I felt that they weren’t that sympathetic. The roof terrace is up a further stairway within the apartment. It’s nice up there when the sun shines. I can see there’s a bit of an issue with the pigeons but it wasn’t a deal breaker. It’s nice to hang the washing up there to dry when it’s sunny!
• Penny (1/5): In my opinion this flat should not be rented out with the ongoing roadworks - location fine but difficult access due to roads being dug up There are major road works in all surrounding streets so noisy and dirty .Also work carried out in apartment block and workers equipment was kept in the hallway .Despite requesting another apartment they said that they couldn’t find one so we had to find one ourselves .Poor view from window
• Jane (1/5): Awful - avoid - Nothing Wouldn’t recommend for a stay longer than 2 nights. We’d booked for a month. Moved to a different flat without asking us & reason given, they didn’t want the major road works to disturb us. Chose 1st flat because I’d just had a hip replacement & it had a big walk-in shower. New one wasn’t just tiny but shower head bracket hanging off the wall. When we contacted owners, reply was “can’t you just hold it!” Eventually sent someone, who screwed it back on, but water direction now only straight across. Husband’s 5,11 & he couldn’t get wet! Eventually agreed to mew head. Area outside was disgusting, inches deep in pigeon faeces & the noise was loud & relentless. After 2 weeks i had to contact them for clean bedding/towels & they argued they couldn’t reach me by phone, but didn’t bother to knock on the door or leave a note. ‘Kitchen’ not suitable for stays longer than a weekend. Biggest complaint, all three roads surrounding the apartment completely dug up with no vehicle access. Again, no notification & we had 6 cases! On leaving asked for help and was refused. No customer care here, just money making!

• Veronica (8/5): Weekend in Malaga - Suites La Merced was in a great location very close to Casa natal de Picasso just behind Plaza de la Merced where there are lots of bars and restaurant. The road outside was being dug up with no work at weekends. It was quiet and traffic free. Clean, comfortable and we were shown where we could store our bags for our last day. There is a supermarket nearby. Our apartment was just one spacious room. I had forgotten or not noticed that.

• Peacocks (10/5): Great apartment but fill out your check in forms before you arrive or else it will delay everything. - The owner took matters into his own hands when we were unable to fill out the documentation the assistant insisted we fill out before giving us the code to the apartment even though we had already paid. The owner showed up and let us in. The assistant was not very helpful. We told her we didn't have wifi and that as soon as we got into the apartment with wifi, we could fill out the forms and she said no. Her suggestion was to walk to a near by restaurant or shop to borrow their wifi and fill out form (we were all standing outside the building with our luggage). Then again when I asked her for assistance with calling a cab in the morning she said, I would have better chance if I called them since I knew where I was located. Very unhelpful and unprofessional but the owner is a 5 star!

• Christopher (6/5): Disappointed - Great location When booking we thought it was an upper floor apartment with a terrace. However it was a dark apartment on the ground floor. Tiny dark terrace covered in pigeon s--t, impossible to use it. Very damp apartment, not easy to dry clothes. Paint on lower part of walls peeling due to damp. Not healthy. Bottom sheet on bed, very very poor quality polyester sheet. Booking.com not helpful in resolving the fact we were in a ground floor apartment. Staff were helpful. But we would never choose to stay in this ground floor apartment again, despite the great location

The terrace was a lovely treat. The smaller bedroom was rather stark and uninviting compared to the rest of the property. And the bed was very hard!

Bedroom windows at street level so despite railings felt unsafe to open them at night or even during day. V. small interior patio unusable due to pigeons. A little dark as ground floor. Driver of transfer booked nowhere to be seen at airport.

• Bee (9/5): Cozy apartment with 2 en-suite rooms - Spacious apartment with a living room and 2 ensuing bedrooms. Easy to get around as it is near most of the shops and restaurants and the beach. Supermarket is only 2 mins walk away. Rooms are clean and well equipped. The electricity (fuse) went off 3-4 times during the day. One of the toilets couldn’t flush.

• Paulina (10/5): amazing stay! - our stay was Absolutely amazing! apartment is Located in a city center with easy walking distance everywhere (2 minutes from the castle, less than 10 minutes to Muelle). it was nice and cosy. bed is comfortable. there is a small kitchenette for basic cooking/reheating. Staff is super-nice and taking care of! i was contacted few times to check on how is our experience and if we need anything. and, I just asked if they have a joga mat- and they bought one… amazing, personal touch. i am very grateful for the time we spent there and will be back! it’s quite humid so laundry couldn’t dry - but Well, probably nothing they can do about :)

It was within easy walking distance of museums, restaurants, with local shops. Communication with Juan and Marie about keys, taxis was excellent. It takes a while to heat up the living room - in a cool Feb week a warm jumper is needed!

Roof top terrace was a bonus and facilities were perfect Rudimentary provisions in the kitchen - no kitchen knives and bare minimum in terms crockery

• Paul (8/5): Excellent value, clean spacious apartment in an ideal location. - Facilities (including air-con, washing machine, toaster, microwave etc). Spacious apartment. Excellent location. Completely my fault - the Booking.com photo gallery did suggest that there was a roof terrace, but it later transpired (on arrival) that the ground and first floor apartments (1.A and 1.B) to not have access - only apartment no. 2 has access. In hindsight, I should've confirmed prior to booking.

• Susan (9/5): Our stay was very enjoyable. - Host appeared very quickly and sorted mistake made by cleaner when key wasn’t in lock box on arrival. Property very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning could be a bit noisy at times. One night in particular it poured water over the floor and spat out bits of ice. Owner said he was waiting for engineer to look at it as he knew there was a potential problem.
