• Angela (7/5): Without these two problems we would have given it a better rating. - Spacious apartment in central area with mini supermarkets in close proximity. Good WIFI connection. The difficulty in opening the front door. It was NOT a pleasant experience to be unable to open the front door on arrival in the evening after a long tiring day of travel. After 10 mins we finally, after turning the lock back and forth, managed to get in. We did let Maria know but were told to wriggle the key back and forth. We had to do this each time hoping that the door would open. To a lesser degree, the downstairs toilet would not to flush. We let Marie know and were told to turn on the toilet shut-off valve. We had to do this every time to stop the running water. This would have been avoidable if a an easy plumber's repair had been carried out.

• Roxy at law (3/5): - I write this review with some regret. The owner is lovely and very helpful. However, she is not the reason I booked this property. There are some good points but it is important to read the full review. I am always as fair as I can be. I do not expect perfection. This is a property situated in a lively area of Malaga. It is close to some good bars and eateries. it is an easy walk to the centre of Malaga (5 minutes) 10 minutes from the market. 10 from the marina and 15 from the beach. It is very close to a couple of supermarkets. The flat itself has a good, well furnished terrace that will catch the sun most of the year. The apartment is reasonably spacious (the toilets are a little cramped). The sitting area is comfortable and the beds are good. There is air-con and a tv. The wi-fi is good. The check in process was excellent and easy. The flat is a top floor space so very little noise but there are 34 steep steps to climb to get to it. The kitchen is just about functional but really needs updating. The wiring was a worry. Lots of extension leads! (no fire extinguisher) There are two serious issues. One is not the fault of the owner but needs pointing out. The other is the owner's fault. The first is this: the entrance is in a secluded courtyard off a main street. This is a regular meeting place for drug addicts and dealers. The owner, understandably, is very upset by this. She has asked permission to put a gate on the entrance but the local planners will not allow it. They were present each day of our stay and we were asked for money by one. It was very intimidating and not pleasant. I cannot imagine what it would be like for a young family or a lone female. We moved half way through our stay and paid for different accommodation. The second issue was this. You are asked to pay a cleaning fee. I have no problem with this as long as the property is cleaned well. It was not. there were collections of dust. The air-con units were filthy. The windows had not seen a cloth in months, if not years. One wall had loose plaster falling off it. It needed a deep clean and re-painting. One beam was dusted where the cleaner could reach. The other half went untouched. That is not good enough if you are paying extra for cleaning. There is no fire extinguisher or fire blanket. Moreover, to exit the ground floor door you had to use a key from the inside. If you rushed from the property in an emergency (e.g a fire) and forgot them, you would be trapped in the stairwell and it would be "Goodnight Vienna". You are given only one set of keys. So all in all I could not recommend this place currently.

• Loreto (10/5): - Es un apartamento precioso, espacioso y luminoso y tiene una terracita muy agradable, aparte de estar situado en un lugar céntrico y cerca de todo. La puerta de abajo solo se puede abrir desde dentro con la llave lo cual me parece un poco peligroso en caso de incendio, pero aparte de esto todo estaba perfecto.
• Ana María (8/5): Buen alojamiento y buena comunicación con alojamiento - María es un encanto, estuvo en contacto conmigo ya que hubo un problema en el cobro que finalmente pudimos solucionar. Nos ayudó con la ubicación, el check-in y el parking. La ubicación es muy buena, en pleno centro de Málaga, a 6 minutos andando de la Catedral. La zona con bares y ocio pero el alojamiento está metido en una callecita que aísla del ruido y es muy silencioso. La vivienda tiene todos los imprescindibles para una estancia. Las fotos están desactualizadas, ya no tienen cabina de hidromasaje en la habitación superior, hay plato de ducha y panel. El aire acondicionado de la habitación de arriba no funciona bien y sólo hace función de ventilador pero no enfría. Tuvimos que tener el aire de abajo encendido para que llegase un poco.

• Amina (7/5): We had a good time overall but there were some unexpected difficulties and complications during our stay. - It is a very cute loft apartment in a perfect location if you want to be downtown. Parking was complicated, expensive and had to be paid in cash. The downstairs shower had some issues so we could only use the bathroom upstairs, hopefully this will be fixed soom. When we arrived all the towels provided were moist and one smellsd really bad, not something you would like to use.

• Fiona (8/5): I had a very enjoyable relaxing time at the Loft and I am very happy to recommend it. - The apartment is really big with lots of space to relax. I especially liked the sun terrace off the upstairs bedroom- it had sunshine all day and was very private and quiet. such a treat in the middle of a city! both bedrooms are a very good size. and the beds were very comfortable. Shower in the main bedroom is fabulous as are the double sinks. lots and lots of storage space too. with plenty of hangers. Maria was lovely to deal with and entering the apartment with the key in the lock box was very easy and quick. Great brand new fridge & freezer, and fully furnished kitchen utensils. everything I needed. seemed like a brand new washing machine too. This would be an ideal apartment for a family- so much space. also great for a Girlie shopping trip to Malaga! Central location close to everything. Restaurants, Bars, Shops, Supermarkets- Mas, Carrefour and Día all within 5 mins walk. not ideal for a solo female traveler as it’s up a lane so when the businesses around are closed at night it was a little too isolated and quiet.
