• Stefanie (10/5): Top! - Die Wohnung ist wirklich toll! Alternativen in so einer Großstadt sind oft winzig, im Vergleich deutlich teurer oder echt hässlich. Hier habe wir uns wohl gefühlt, hatten ausreichend Platz und die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat schnell und unkompliziert funktioniert. Wir konnten sogar unser Gepäck bereits vormittags nach Rücksprache in der Wohnung abstellen. Eigentlich bin ich kein Fan von Teppichboden und allzu viel Deko aber in dieser Wohnung war alles gepflegt und sauber, wir hatten wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Müsli, Milch, Kaffee, Tee, Zucker, Salz, Öl, ausreichend Handtücher, bezogene Betten.....Alles da! Supermarkt und fish and chips ca 300m entfernt... .... ein Bett quietscht ziemlich, war aber dennoch sehr bequem....
• Gernot (10/5): - Lydia's Apartment is beautifully located in South London, right between London and the Tower Bridge. Our host Lydia was perfectly reachable whenever we needed her. We felt extremely comfortable throughout our stay. The apartment also has a washing machine with integrated tumble dryer. A hairdryer is located in the bottom drawer of the dresser in one of the bedrooms.

• José (9/5): Un logement bien anglais, accueillant et parfaitement équipé. - Logement agréable, propre, très très bien équipé (produits pour faire la cuisine, salle de bains, chaussons, etc.) dans un quartier calme proche du métro, des autobus, des restaurants... Un magasin d’alimentation à un coin de rue. Outre les deux chambres, un salon agréable (pour qui se lèverait tôt ou voudrait se coucher plus tard... ) Eau chaude à volonté, même pour quatre douches ! Dans la cuisine des produits, thé, café, huile, sel, poivre.... Communication facile avec la propriétaire par courriel. Le logement était un peu froid à l'arrivée et par la suite nous n'avons pas tout à fait maitrisé la façon de le chauffer. Il y a deux lits double, le premier est parfait, le second serait un peu étroit pour deux personnes qui ne seraient pas un couple amoureux.

Nice quiet location. Comfy double beds and plenty of fluffy towels. Would def stay here again! Such a minor points, but the 2nd bedroom blinds didn’t block out the external lights. Our friend sleeping on the blow up bed found it very hard and squeaky, which is not an issue if you’re only using the bedrooms.

• Alison (9/5): Stopping for Wembley Concert - The flat had a lovely homely feel, tucked away in a residential area, but close to all amenities and 2 tube stations, so getting around was easy. A great price too for London. The host was always on hand to answer any queries and her guide to London was a great reference. Would definitely stay again. People in upstairs flat were a bit noisy at night if you were sleeping in the lounge guest bed.

The living room can be converted to a third bedroom on request. We came in after a long day in the city and discovered only then that there was no third bed. Lyds (the host) made great effort to fix this.

I'm not sure if that is the way Booking.com works (air bandb are sometimes the same) as it says third bedroom with a bed. I assumed (wrongly) the sofa was a sofabed. But it all worked out fine.

It was nice to be able to park my car right outside the property and walk to London Bridge or Borough Market. Situated where the apartment is allows you to easily get to the main attractions of London. Wish there was a TV. The family friendliness is for older kids. I have a 14m old and a 2 year old. Not having a door to the Kitchen was hard as my child kept oning the oven. Even the bathroom door did not latch from the outside and kids where able to get in find the Toilet paper and tp the flat.

A ‘home away from home, Uber cool flat’ is the perfect description of this fantastic little place! Everything you could possibly need was supplied, as if you’d popped in to stay at a friend’s house. Location, facilities all excellent plus free parking in central London. - Location is excellent being a short walk from London Bridge station and makes all of central London very accessable. Free parking space is like gold dust and was easy to drive to property as just off the A2. Flat was finished to high standard with interesting art work. The brochure was informative and covered all questions. The small things were covered such as spare keys, how to lock door and how to operate boiler. Made stay very easy.

Our decision to choose the Uber cool flat over a hotel was a good one as we were very comfortable and relaxed at the start and end of each day. We visited for a London show so the location was great from London Bridge Stn. Also for local supermarket and Borough market. It’s a very homely flat. I come from London so the surroundings are familiar and won’t be for everyone. But it felt safe, welcoming, very quiet on our visit ,and most importantly for that part of London was excellent value for money The communication with the owner was also excellent and much appreciated. I would recommend to all It may not appeal to those who like hotels and modern apartments which come at a much higher price than this little gem One bedroom and bed is bigger than the other Which description states.
• Nico (10/5): A perfect place for a stay in London - We mainly picked this flat because it offered a free parking slot in the inner city which in itself is nearly worth half the rent. But we were pleasantly surprised by Lydias flat. It was spacious, wonderfully appointed and surprisingly quiet. 2 bedrooms, a nice living room and kitchen with all we needed. Nearly all London is right at your doorstep. Shard, Thames, Modern Tate, London Bridge just minutes away on foot. Communication with Lydia was fast and great too.

We felt immediatly at home when we walk through the door. The whole appartment has been upkept and decorated with love!!! It is also close to a bus station and a short walk to the underground. Even walking to theTowerbridge is good to do and from there walking allong the Thames brings you great views. Sorry can't think of anything :-)
