• Teng (1/5): It is a nightmare! Misinformation, unreasonable and abusive host. We felt threatened. - Scam like transaction. The agent was asking for money to be transferred to his private account. Did not provide address until the last minute and even then, the instructions were wrong. We almost thought we were scammed and started to look for alternative accommodation. FALSE advertisement (claimed to have free onsite parking, but parking lot was taken by owner and he refused to move his car). The agent asked us to park on the road, BUT to do so would be illegal parking. with double yellow lines on both sides. The nearest legal and safe parking is more than a mile a way according to Ring-go After 2 days when the owner car was finally gone (thought he finally sober up), we move our car there only to have him coming back about an hour later and abuse us, calling us "bast*rd" when we said we are not moving our car anymore as he has already collected our rent and according to the contract, we are entitled to park there (this the agent had agreed, see image of chat). He started to behave in a threatening manner. Only when we said we will call the police, did he decide to go away. We were on the edge all the time, in the first 2 days not knowing if our car would be damaged or stolen and in the last 2 days if the owner would come back while we were not looking and damage our car. Our 3 weeks in the UK were wonderful, but this final 4 days were a nightmare!
• Suketu (1/5): Bad - The concept of giving £350 cash as a deposit and then a painstaking process of getting it back. Booking.com was useless as inspite of their gaurantee that if host does not return the money in one week they supported the host's tactics of delaying the payment without any reason. Host also kept delaying the refund while at the time of check-in did not share the details until the deposit cash is paid.
• Paul (6/5): Decent place owned unhelpful hosts - Nice and comfortable place. clean and well maintained. Poor and very last-minute communication from the hosts. No functioning washing machine. Even though the place has two washrooms, only one room could be used for showers which was not good and contrary to the facilities informed. Not a great location as nearest conveniences (grocery store, underground stations, restaurants) are over 15 minutes away.

• Nels (7/5): Great location and space - Location and space was prefect The spotlights went in the en-suite on the second day and my Enderby struggled to use it. Do I paid for use of an en-suite that I couldn’t use . Feel like I overpaid for the facilities.

• Loretta (8/5): Great but can you get in? - Nice location and clean. Great facilities provided. I wish there were more towels , but I guess theft prevention is a thing. There were some damages already there such as the walls, broken lights, blind and toilet button. We recorded everything in case we didn't get the deposit back as you never know. I'd reccomend you do the same upon entry and leaving the property. It was really stressful getting into the property so much so we thought we were getting scammed ( the number provided on bookings didn't work ). We thought we'd pay the deposit through pay pal , but that info wasn't provided so it was bank to bank. We had to send the Id details and confirmation of deposit payment multiple times as they claimed they hadn't received it - three thousand emails threads going on at this point. It didn't help that this was on the day of the booking. I can't imagine someone who was flying or travelling further dealing with this. We'd thought this would have been sorted 7 days before as stated on the site, but they didn't ask until the day. It got to a point that we arrived in London, after a 4 hour drive thanks to traffic, travelling to the property and not knowing if we were going to get in. Worrying about where we'd stay for the night and if we'd just lost loads of money. I was so close to cancelling the booking just to at least have 1/3 of it back as they'd had the deposit as well at that point. If your familiar with all this and have used this app before then I'm sure you'll have no problem. It was our first time using the app and staying at a property and not a hotel. It was more hassle then we thought. Perhaps there was different expectations going on either end. Lovely place but I think next time we would have a hotel.

The intrusive questions asked by the hosts, such as what are you doing during your stay and demand for electronic ID which I don't like to send to strangers for obvious reasons. Mixed communications some by email some just on the app which I missed. Refusal to provide access to the property while we were travelling down because of failure to provide the above info. even though all payments were made. Caused extra stress as I have an operation in the hospital the next day.

• Ninah (9/5): Really lovely flat. Highly recommended! - I travelled with my husband and 2 teenage children and this flat was perfect for us. Modern with spacious rooms and Fully equipped with even toiletries and cleaning products provided, which was a nice touch. The flat is situated on a busy road but very quiet once you are inside. Also just about 7-10 minutes walk from a train station. The host was very responsive and courteous. Great Wi-Fi connection and a parking spot right outside the door made the stay even better Due to being on the ground floor the windows in the bedrooms have a security feature which only allows them to open about an inch wide so we couldn’t get much fresh air. This ISN’T ANY FAULT OF THE HOST and probably wouldn’t be an issue in cooler months. The host provided cooling towers in every room which helped.

Clean modern comfortable apartment. Great responses from owners. Everything Great, maybe change mattress on double bed, but this is a personal choice, it is very firm.
• Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Good location, bedrooms were very quiet and comfortable, everything provided e.g towels, plates, toiletries. Check in and out was easy. Would absolutely stay again. The only slight negative was the floor was sticky, possibly needed a vacuum. Other than that is was very very clean.

Owner is kind is respond quickly. The place is close to the underground station and to multiple shops :) Would deffo come back again . Nothing, everything was Great!
• Carol (10/5): Great 2-bedroom apartment in Harrow - Spacious apartment. 2 good sized bedrooms - plenty of space for the 4 of us. Parking was ideal - literally beside the door. Very clean apartment - impressed with the standard. Location was ideal for us - close to Tube Station and close to friends and relatives. Host was very responsive to any queries we had. Easy to use hot water/heating system. Very happy with it all. Might be helpful to have some blankets when curled up on the couches. This is a minor thing though.

Super clean a d with a handy parking space right outside. 5 minute walk to the Tube station on the Picadilly Line so straight into Oxford Street and surrounding attractions. 10 minte Taxi to Wembley stadium. Would stay their again anytime. Host communication and help was really great. Thankyou
