• Alexandre (1/5): Horrible, Arnaque, A fuir.... - Partir de ce logement insalubre et dangereux pour ma famille La question est qu'est ce qui vous a déplus : Tout, fuites d'eau dans le plafond qui coule sur le lit, appartement complètement différent des photos, meuble craquelé, lave vaisselle rouillé, saleté partout, indifférence totale de l'agence de location, moisissure sur les murs, grille pain horriblement sale, odeur de javel qui vous brûle la gorge, nous étions avec 4 enfants dont 3 en bas âge et une avec une maladie dont le traitement doit être au frais et le frigo ne fonctionne pas correctement donc a plusieurs aspect ce logement est un danger mortel pour nous, soit le plafond s'écroule sur nous quand on dort soit le traitement n'est pas a la bonne température et dangereux pour notre enfant. Nous avions 4 nuits, booking a réussi a annuler 3 nuits mais nous avons du partir a 22h00 avec nos enfants et trouver un autre logement de dernière minutes. Horrible cette annonce ne devrait pas exister et c'est gens devraient être poursuivi pour mise en danger d'autrui.

• Joseph (2/5): Do not stay here! - The location in Camden is good, but don't let this tempt you. Numerous issues with our stay. The accomodation looked nothing like the photos - how is this not fraudulent? Also, the property was very unclean, dusty, smelt of damp/stale cigarettes, has poor quality decoration, and had many damaged furnishings and fittings (one of them being a mains power outlet). Finally, the property has an insect problem. I had many what look like mosquito bites on my neck, back and arm after staying in the property.

Socks gone sooo dirty after 15 mins in the flat unpacking the bags. Not clean, floor washed just around furniture, socks kept sticking to the floor under the dining table, kitchen cabinets peeling and dirty, the property in need of full refurbishment

La poussière mais cela était indépendante de votre volonté, car l'appartement est sur la route. sinon, il manque des torchons dans la cuisine, car c'est compliqué de nettoyer les assiettes et ne pas pouvoir les sécher ou nettoyer les mains. ça serait bien qu'il y ait des épices de cuisine car pour 2 ou 3 jours, on ne sait plus quoi faire avec ce qu'on a acheté (ex : sel, poivre, massalé, huile, etc....), la base des épices pour la cuisine. sinon da,s lensemble, tout va bien

• Franziska (1/5): - The location is truly wonderful. You can get everywhere quickly. This accommodation was absolutely awful. From mold on the walls in every room, a filthy and broken sofa bed, a television that was outdated, to a single half-used roll of toilet paper. On top of that, the stench from the restaurant in the front building made opening the windows almost impossible. We repeatedly asked for a solution to the mold problem or, alternatively, for a different apartment, but the accommodation provider offered no reasonable solution. The apartment we booked through Booking.com doesn't seem to exist. Suddenly it was a different address. Without any further information. Never again!!!

Nowhere to park near property or shop where you need to pick up the keys. Also having to put deposit down also address was different on booking and actual property.

• Marcin (10/5): Idealna lokalizacja: bardzo cicho, a jednocześnie bardzo blisko do tłumu i serca dzielnicy. - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Kilkaset metrów od samego centrum camden town. Ciche miejsce, można się wyspać. Wygodne łóżka i czysta pościel. Wszystko mi się podobało, pamiętajcie że to jest camden town, a nie dzielnica luksusowych Willi.

I have contacted the property several times, but the issue remains unresolved. This is quite disappointing, as international transfers normally take only a few days. I hope this message will help others be aware of this situation and encourage the management to take quick action to refund what is owed.

Les envié fotos de sus picaduras por todo el cuerpo. No hubo respuesta. Aseguraros si vais a este lugar que han cambiado el sofá, la cama y ya puestos, que el baño tiene luz.... (no tenía cuando llegamos). Sin soluciones, ni respuesta. Fue una idea pésima elegir este lugar. Nuca más.

• Matteo Benjamin (1/5): Pessima esperienza e mobili marci - Almeno ci hanno restituito la caparra di 300£ L’appartamento non corrisponde alle foto su Booking, risultando sporco, con molte ragnatele, finestre rotte e porte che non si chiudono. Pochissima manutenzione, niente a che fare con le foto mostrate. Inoltre, delle persone avevano le chiavi dell’appartamento, sono entrate per fare delle foto e dei video. Il proprietario ha programmato delle visite esterne per vendere l’edificio durante il nostro soggiorno! Disturbandoci per ben tre volte in giorni diversi; una per fare foto e video, una per una visita per vendere l’appartamento e una per provare quali chiavi potessero aprire la nostra porta, non facendoci sentire sicuri durante la permanenza, costringendo alcuni di noi a restare in casa per assicurarci che non entrasse nessuno mentre non c’eravamo!! In più alcuni mobili sono marci e presentano funghi. D:

• Blair (5/5): Cheap but not cheerful - It was close to Camden It smelled musty and damp, there was no hand soap for toilet, it hasn’t had a good clean in a long time the glasses were dirty. The floors and furniture are in serious need of replacement. The bathroom was completely unacceptable. The address advertised is not the address of your apartment and it’s a good long walk to get the keys from a grocery shop. Would never stay again

• Gary (4/5): Nice stay but smartflats who run the property are so poor give you no help and a load of nonsense when you contact them - Location People who are running it are poor took a £300 bond which still haven’t received which also is not highlighted until you go through the whole booking page in host somewhere so if you go non refundable you have no choice but to pay bond as they say it was stipulated and to wait in a shop to get keys till 3pm on dot as they would not release them, then walk 15min with bags to flat when getting there was one set of keys between 2 men so tied all day when I asked they said it was security reasons load of rubbish why don’t they use a code then property was ideal for us but that smartflats who run it are rubbish
• Fung (8/5): Great location and within 10 minutes walk to Camden town. - I like that it was close to Camden area also before the arrival concierge link to show us where to collect the keys, where to leave the trash on our departure etc. Main front door security lock wasn't the best. As we were on 3rd floor that you can others on lower floor walking up the stairs and closing doors. There was few broken things such as floor tiles in bathroom, door closure damaged etc. Location was great but it was on the main road so you can hear everything.

• Jenny (8/5): Unusually disappointing - The location is great and the flat overall is lovely I would normally rate this property 10/10 and I have used this company (who have a few flats) many times. However this time the flat was cold, which I had reported last week when I stayed but it hadn’t been fixed. Also and this was a big thing for me, when I asked for a second toilet roll for my stay of 2 days (there are normally more) I was told I only can have one for my stay. These two things have marked this stay down this week. I also done like the new system for picking up keys, you used to be able to go to the office to pick them up so you would see staff and they got used to seeing you. Now you have to go to a shop and pick them up and worse take them back at the end of the stay, which for me is in the opposite direction of my office, so for me this new process is not as good as before.
• Audrey (2/5): Terrible - Nothing The flat wasn't clean at all. There was hair in the shower and the bin wasn't cleaned. Moreover in the flat C we didn't have heating. We slept under 14 degrees and even if I sent messages to the management team I didn't receive any answer to help me. I am really disappointed and I don't recommand this flat. Last but not least the photos don't fit with the reality.

• Paige (2/5): Don't stay here dirty and very unhelpful - The location was great very close to stations and local amitities and markets It was not the apartment advertised for a atart. The level of cleanliness was remarkably disgusting. Cans of alcohol under couch The entrance actually looked like a murder scene. Tbe stairs were very steep and couldsnt touch the baniater for fear of dirt and grime on it ! There was a damp and grime smell in the entire flat and entrance . Floors were disgusting. The tv was broken the oven was filthy and left over grime burned when we attempted to use it. Therefore, we couldnt use it ! The hob and worktops where all burned also. The kitchen window wouldn't open, so when the oven went on fire, it took ages to get the smoke out via the small bathroom window !! After taking photos and showing the management and asking for help with tv and oven, they did nothing to help us!! It completely wrecked out evenings as we were with children so could not cook evening meals or relax to watch tv with kids. The wardrobes were broken in the bedroom. Windows have no safety on, so kids could have had accidents and adults, for that matter. The only good thing was the location outside of the management control !!!

• Tarik (9/5): Wow amazing 😮 - We really liked the new apartments that they provide. We were really skeptical about the apartment as we started to read the reviews. The reality was amazing 👏. We didn't like the noise from the street but other than that it was great.

A blackmail cool us down! On the date of departure, we leave a huge amount of cash in the flat, but we have returned the key. We have to ask for help to the property staff. A guy told me to sign a document to acknowledge their emergency call service, about 50 pounds. For us, Their emergency call service which just helped us open the door of the flat we lived. We have to sign it, if we don’t, we have to wait until 9am when the office is open. So, we are forced to sign the document! We need to catch the train on that day! Finally we get our property! But our bank account was deducted 150 pounds. A huge amount of cash. They just opened the door! A ridiculous action. I wondered that none of companies, in any countries will blackmail their customers like this. I am a firm believer of justice! UK is a good country which will respect tourists. But we cannot believe that the thing could happen. Try to imagine what you carelessly leave sth to the flat, and you are charged 150 pounds to start their “so-called “ emergency call service. We will defend our justices rights. Even it will be claimed to justice process. If you live in other countries, I think the staff will be passionate helping customers solve problems. “Opening the door” is belonging to our rights. Until now, Camden City Living refused to show the document that I signed. The first time to travel to UK with family, leaving the only one awful image for us!
• Jenny (10/5): Great stay in a lovely flat. - Flat was immaculate. Newly released so all new fit out. Location was great for me, round the corner from my work and in the heart of Camden Town. 5 minutes walk to the tube station. My one criticism was the WiFi wasn’t working, but as a new building they were having teething problems. Reported this to management team and they were in touch with the provider.

Photos look absolutely nothing like the property you stay at. So if you're looking for luxury it's not this! By any stretch.

• Jenny (9/5): Would recommend this property even though it could be made even better. - Was clean, comfortable and well located to my office and good value due to the facilities. Two reasons I didn’t give it 10/10. There was no washing up liquid, so I ended up buying some and not enough toilet roll provided for my length of stay. I stay down in London for work each week and don’t expect to have to provide these basic things when I have paid over £100 per night to stay.
