• violet (9/5): Very enjoyable - Location was excellent Accommodation was spacious There was nothing to dislike about the property The only criticism was that we couldn’t get the accommodation we reserved and paid for; we were put into a very cramped studio apartment. But, when I expressed disappointment with the property, we were given an excellent apartment in the same area. The person helping us with this was extremely helpful. Excellent staff response

Ci hanno offerto solo 30 sterline di risarcimento. Secondo piano con un bambino di un anno e mezzo. Ho accettato l'appartamento di 14 mq con un prezzo alto avendo prenotato ad Aprile 2025. Si salvano solo per la posizione.

• Benjamin (6/5): Goede locatie voor één overnachting, gelegen in een rustigere wijk maar toch dicht bij alles. - De locatie is echt top: alles ligt op wandelafstand, wat enorm handig is. In de studio was ook alles voorzien wat je nodig hebt, zoals glazen, een oven, haardroger… heel praktisch en volledig uitgerust. We vonden meerdere haren in het bed die duidelijk niet van ons waren, waardoor het leek alsof het misschien niet was verschoond. Daarnaast kregen we door werkzaamheden in onze oorspronkelijk geboekte studio een andere kamer die een stuk minder “luxe” was, zonder enige vorm van compensatie. Ook stond de verwarming veel te warm en hebben we geen manier gevonden om deze zelf aan te passen.

Couple of stools and a small coffee table to sit at/ eat/ relax, which is uncomfortable but they have put a massive wardrobe in the corner. Put some hooks on the wall instead, and install a higher fold up table instead. Drains smelly and bed not very comfortable. Super clean.

• LIMING (1/5): 两月前在Booking上预定了两天该公寓25平米及厨房洗衣机就餐桌椅等设施完善的房间并已按此标准付款，结果却被房东安排到不足十平米的地下室Flat2, 这纯属商业欺诈行为,现提出投诉并要求退款和赔偿。 - 公寓地理位置好，我们才预定的这里25平米公寓并按照此标准付款。结果房东只给了地下室十平米一个极端狭窄房间，收费标准相同。我们当时背井离乡，拖着沉重行李，实在无法做出选择，只能被迫接受。对于这种临时大变小好变差，以前在Booking订房从未遇到过，房主纯属商业欺诈，我们提出维权主张，要求做出相应精神和经济赔偿。 由于9月18-20日我们在伦敦的活动都计划安排伦敦摄政公园、杜莎夫人蜡像馆及大英博物馆附近，所以我们在7月份（两个月前）按照Booking上推荐，选择预定了Viridian Apartments by Baker Street一套面积25平米及厨房设施洗衣机就餐桌椅等设施完善的宽敞公寓并在Booking平台上完成了付款。在入住前一个月我们还曾就Flat 楼层事进行过两次电子邮件沟通，由于公寓没有电梯，我们希望为两位有大行李的60多岁老人安排0或1层）。然而令我们感到震惊和愤怒的是，在已经确认入住信息后，仅在入住前两天，公寓工作人员突然发邮件告知我，由于公寓近期维修维护，只能给我们安排到地下室小房间，否则可以退房。我们当时身在爱尔兰旅行，让我们临时在伦敦更换其他酒店，不仅价格高出很多，而且附近有些合适酒店已经没有住房了。结果9月18日我们被迫住进了有着陡峭台阶和不足10平米面积的地下室Flat2 。当我们17：30左右住进公寓后，刚关上房门，就再也无法从房内打开门出去了。由于我们身处地下室，与公寓管理人员电话信号也不畅通，我们多次发Help邮件请求公寓派工作人员前来处理，解救我们出去。因为我们当晚19：45在摄政公园露天剧场要去观看音乐剧brigatoon。最后在我们告知准备拨打999报警后，他们才说可能门锁设置有问题，发邮件指导我们一步步处理才打开门锁，这时我们已经被困在小屋里快三个小时了，当晚演出完全被耽误了没有看成，还损失50多英镑门票钱。本人作为Booking长期优质客户，出境游必选Booking订房。我们此次在英国旅行，在伦敦和曼城都是通过Booking订房，结果都很满意，从未出现过Viridian Apartments的这种情况。将我们提前订好并已经付款的楼上25平米公寓换成地下室的不足10平米公寓，收费相同，这纯属商业欺诈行为。另外，由于公寓人员门锁设置问题，将我们长时间关闭在狭小空间，无人过来处理，给我们精神上造成严重损害，并且还耽误了我们观看当晚演出活动，造成门票经济损失50多英镑。我们在此向Booking投诉Viridian Apartments 房东，维护我们的基本权利，要求公寓退款，并赔偿我们相关的精神和经济损失。
• Rebekah (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE! - Absolutely appalling. The room I booked was not what I was given. The staff didn’t make me aware of any changes and claimed to have maintainence going on so they couldn’t give me my booked room. Ruined my partners birthday with what they called an “upgrade”, staff are rude and unhelpful. Didn’t offer any form of solution just to check out and they will refund which would have left us stranded with no where to stay The above explains it all. But to add extra about how bad it really was, the apartment was dirty with dust everywhere, the windows are so old they nearly broke trying to open them and the view was disgustingly, there was pen on the sofa, a broken seal in the bathroom, smudges all over the door frames and skirting boards, smelt like stale air in the room too. A waste of money, DO NOT STAY HERE!

I like everything, just some suggestions, about things we missed: hooks for towels in bathroom, toilet paper holder, self for shampoo amd conditoner in shower. Also there were no pots or pans in kitchen. There was washing machine we dont use, but no dishwasher.

• Nidhi (4/5): - It was a disappointing stay for us. They asked me to check in through an app 48 hours ago. The app asks for your arrival time. There is an option to check-in early by paying extra. We did this since we were travelling with a 1 year old. I also sent them a message informing them of the number of guests and that I had paid for the early check-in. I received no response/objections from them. We arrived at 3 pm and we were told that the apartment won't be available until 4 pm and that the app is new and not to trust it. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very rude. We also didn't get our apartment code until after 4 pm. I had to ring them to find out the code.

Own washing machine and fridge in apartment Convenience stores, coffee shops and bakeries in abundance. I was in basement, (no2) which was fine but tricky stairs down may make it challenging for some . No air conditioning. Basement was very tiny but upper floor apartments may be bigger.

• David (6/5): Disappointed with the money we had paid for the stay - The location was great but we had trouble gaining entry to apartment as the door code would not work. We had to contact through someone on site the booking agent who gave us code for lock box. Throughout our stay few tried several times to access room by code but with no luck. Room lacked enough cutlery and glasses and only a bedside cabinet on one side of bed. Had to use a chair on the other side. As we were on lower ground could not draw curtains as passersby could look in. Steep stairs to carry luggage up. A few tweaks would vastly improve this accomodation
• Craig (8/5): Good apartment, nice and central. - Great location, easily accessible from the main train station. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. We wanted a 3pm check in and contacting the property I was told that would be fine. On the day of check in we were told the policy was changed at it would now be £60 for early check in. Thankfully we resolved it but it’s poor to offer something only to remove it and leave your staff exposed to moans!

The space was compact but full of amenities - TV, oven, washing machine, huge shower..very well designed! All very clean and comfortable. Was slightly worried on arrival as it was a ground floor flat on the road, but double glazed and quiet throughout the night. I got stuck in the room as couldn't work out the door... But my friend was on the outside and found a very helpful member of staff! Push the button on the handle as you turn it.

• Christopher (7/5): Good - Easy to find, easy to get in. Comfortable bed. Decent shower. Good location. Decent value. Only one mug was usable, kettle can only be used if put on open oven door. Smelly bathroom, I don't think the shower drain was installed correctly to avoid the smell of the drains getting out. One of the sockets by the bed had something stuck in it making it unusable, possibly a broken dodgy power adaptor from a previous guest. Had to move the furniture around to have a bedside table on both sides of the bed.

• Kim (9/5): Lovely little place! - Access was easy.It was exactly what we needed and as described. Very good use made of the space. Lovely decor, very clean ,the bed was very comfortable, the linen and towels were perfect. It was surprisingly quiet. This isn’t really a dislike but the inaccessible socket on one side of the bed meant I couldn’t charge my phone overnight close to me! Also it would be good to have a little table on that same side.
• Diogo (6/5): The best and worst of the Veridian Apartments in Baker Street - The location of the apartment was very good. It was extremely close to several shops - Tesco and Sainsbury - as well as several places to eat - McDonalds, Chipotle, Gail's, etc. It was also 5 minutes walking distance from Baker Street Metro Station. The room itself was on the ground floor, the first one right as you entered the building. It was extremely clean, and all amenities were provided - laundry machine, cooking utensils, cutlery, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, etc. The room would not be considered spacious, but it fitted a good-sized double bed and a small table with two chairs. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the shower had good pressure and range of water temperature. The first inconvenience to staying here is the check-in and check-out times. If you arrive early in the day, you will have to carry your bags until 4 pm. We asked if it would be possible to do the check-in earlier, but the customer support team did not show any flexibility on that matter. What makes this even weirder is the check-out time of 10 am. We expected that if the check-in is so late, maybe we would have a later check-out as well. That was not the case. Apart from that, although the bathroom was very nice, it always had an unpleasant smell, probably some issue with the plumbing. Furthermore, it had automatic lights which meant that if you took a longer shower, you would either end up showering in total blindness, have to come out to turn the lights on or ask someone to enter the bathroom to do it for you.
• Sam (5/5): Passable - The location was fantastic, everything was brand new and finished to a high specification. The mattress was comfortable. We stayed in apartment number two which was very small for two people. There wasn't enough space for two people to pass each other at any place in the apartment. There wasn't a chair to sit on or a table to eat from in an apartment with a full kitchen and washing machine. There was only a frosted window so it felt very claustrophobic. The bed was too small for two adults especially as one side was pushed against the wall. The sewage smell from the bathroom was overwhelming making the whole flat stink.

Make sure you check for your check in details email. - The location was excellent for us as we had a social event in Marylebone. The apartment was very well equipped for making snacks and hot drinks and had a fridge and safe. If you have been here before it is probably very easy to self check in The check in instructions email went to my spam and wasn’t clearly identified as to what it was. Consequently we had to ring the provider for instructions to get in. They were helpful once we spoke though. The bed was a little small for a couple.
• Radek (1/5): Avoid - Cleanliness & Hygiene Issues: Upon arrival, I was distressed to find a dark hair on the pillow, which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the accommodation. There was a strong drainage smell in the bathroom, making it uncomfortable to use. Room Comfort & Facilities: The television malfunctioned and became unresponsive, freezing on the listing page. I was unable to turn it off using the remote or manually, as the power cord was inaccessible behind the wardrobe. This resulted in sleep disturbances due to the continuous glare from the screen. The TV issue was rectified upon my complaint, but only a day later. The room had no small table for dining, despite the presence of a fully equipped kitchen. This made it inconvenient to eat meals or enjoy breakfast comfortably. The windows were blocked by stickers, preventing natural light from entering. When I opened the window, I found it faced a lower-ground courtyard filled with cigarette ends and emitting a foul odour. I had specifically requested a room that was not in the basement, based on previous reviews, yet I was allocated one. The air conditioning unit was non-functional despite being present. The only way to regulate the temperature was by manually adjusting the radiator valve. The accommodation felt more like a dormitory than a proper apartment studio, which was not what was advertised in the pictures. Bathroom Issues: The shower head required descaling, as water jets sprayed beyond the enclosure, flooding the bathroom floor. Only shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were provided—no shower gel. There was no shelf or caddy in the shower to store toiletries, making it inconvenient. The bathroom lacked hooks to hang wet towels. The only option was to place them on the heated towel rail alongside the wet shower mat, which was unhygienic. There was no toilet roll holder, making access to toilet paper inconvenient.
• Mavridou (7/5): Good - Good location, clean apartment and good host. Tube is really close by and for those Travelling to/ from Stansted airport the bus stop is literally 5 minutes away. Small room with even smaller bathroom
• Clare (5/5): Kitchen sleepover. - The bathroom was pretty nice and the shower was great. The kitchen is well equipped but we didn't cook due to lack of eating space. The room was very small! And was like a sleep over in the kitchen. Not very romantic for a couple. Yes you can cook a meal but theres nowhere to eat exept to sit on the bed. I don't know if it's just what's available through booking.com room wise but the pictures suggest much bigger rooms are available. Maybe booking direct if your hoping for a bigger flat with the sofa and table etc. The room itself, ' flat 8' was a little scruffy and in need of a repaint. Also the sound proofing wasn't great. We could hear the floor above and hall way noise.
