Guest Reviews
- Daron (10/5): - Great location. Simple, clean, functional, and easy.
- Basili (6/5): Pleasant - Stylish apartment with private rooftop in Covent Garden (that’s its name) is on the 3rd floor of an old building on Neal St in Covent Garden.
It’s in a fantastic location in central London and has a rooftop terrace — neglected, but could be pleasant when London’s weather plays nice. The apartment itself has a small bedroom and bathroom and a cosy living/kitchen space (bathroom & kitchen have been renovated), with a coffee table that converts to dining height. To my eye the place is homey rather than stylish, and well-lived in, with doors that need to be closed just so, creaking floorboards, well-worn furniture, a spongy foam mattress. The airconditioning unit is a freestanding model by the window, and as there’s no lift, there are lots of narrow steep steps to deal with. The place is clean and came with complimentary water, coffee capsules, cookies and yoghurt. New kitchen sponges would’ve been nice. There’s a washing machine and wifi. The place is OK; it has some character, and the management company is attentive, but at £300 pounds a night it doesn’t seem like great value.
