• Renate (6/5): Ok für ein paar Tage - Tolle Lage gleich bei U-Bahn und Bushaltestelle. Mehrere Geschäfte gleich gegenüber. Küche gut ausgestattet, Waschmaschine ist praktisch und Mobilar zweckmäßig. Matratzen waren wirklich grausig und versifft. Da war mir nicht mehr wohl zumute. Hier muss dringend etwas erneuert werden. Fünftes Bett war nicht vorbereitet und die Wohnung hat nur in einem Zimmer Fenster. Laut war aber das strassenseitige Zimmer nicht. Alles in allem aber zu teuer.
• Stepan (9/5): - The room is located near the city centre, with very good access to all major attractions by public transport (the bus stop is right in front of the building). There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby, so everything you might need is within a 3-minute walk. The room is spacious enough for a family of five and is well equipped. The hallway in the building is not very nice, and although the apartment has been renovated, you can still notice some imperfections (e.g. a slightly damaged floor). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I would especially like to highlight the perfectly prepared tourist information provided in the room and sent by the owner — I was genuinely impressed. In conclusion, I can fully recommend this accommodation.

• Claudia (7/5): All in all a good place to stay for a city trip. - It is super close to public transport and the host was very friendly and answered my texts right away. The apartment has everything that is needed for a short 'city-trip', including a hair dryer and an iron. It could have been cleaner. We found a few corners that had not been attended to in a while.

• LYNSAY (8/5): A clean, spacious and well-equipped flat in a great location, offering a comfortable stay with just - We had a really lovely stay in this flat. It is deceptively spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated throughout. There are two well-sized bedrooms, both offering different advantages depending on your preference. The front bedroom has two windows overlooking Old Street, so there is some expected traffic and pedestrian noise. That said, the area is relatively quiet for London and it noticeably settles down by around 10–11pm, so it did not disturb our sleep. The second bedroom is located at the back of the apartment and has no windows, which actually works very well for guests who prefer a completely dark and quiet space. The flat is well equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is compact but functional, with a cooker, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge. It made the stay very easy and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and fresh, with a good shower and consistent hot water. The host is very helpful and a pleasure to speak to. A couple of small improvements would make it even better: an internal deadbolt or additional lock on the door would provide extra peace of mind, and the towels could do with being replaced. The hallway and stairs are a little worn, but once inside the flat it is modern, clean, and very well presented.

• Daphne (1/5): Voor ons NOOIT meer, zo smerig. - De locatie, lekker dichtbij de metro en allemaal supermarkten tegenover. Het was vies, klein, donker. Je komt binnen en ligt beneden aan de trap allemaal ongeopende post, brandblusser en veel vuiligheid. Ga je trap omhoog zonder leuning. Ons appartement op 1e verdieping kon vanuit binnen niet op slot. Eetkamertafel moet je uitklappen, zit alle 4 op klapstoeltjes en de 5e op een lage stoel uit slaapkamer, zodat je niet meer om de tafel heen kunt lopen. Er is maar 1 raam in een slaapkamer, de rest is allemaal donker. Vieze doeken, theedoeken en vaatdoeken. Er staat dat er wc papier is, 1 rol. Zelfs de schoonmaakspullen zaten helemaal onder stof. Deur van wc hangt vast op de grond, wc bril is te klein voor de wc, overal liggen spullen van de eigenaar. Zelfs in de koelkast stond nog eten en drinken. Er was een extra bed die wij naast het 2 persoonsbed zetten. Nou de vloer eronder was helemaal kapot. Kapotte glazen in de keukenkastjes, eerlijk waar ik weet niet wat er wel goed was. Schandalige prijs voor dit “hok”. Normaal maak ik nooit een review, maar wil mensen echt behoeden om hier naartoe te gaan. Helaas heb ik geen foto’s gemaakt, zag dat ik er nog 2 heb maar weet niet of je daar iets op kunt zien.

• Ilona (7/5): - Fijne bedden, opbergruimte in de slaapkamers, keukenapparatuur (magnetron, waterkoker, wasmachine, broodrooster). Goede locatie. Dichtbij metro en supermarkten. Vriendelijke host en late checkout. Schoonmaak kan iets grondiger. Ruimte is wat donker, alleen ramen in de voorste slaapkamer.

• Nadege (8/5): Appartement confortable très bien placé - Appartement conforme aux photos, il est bien placé tout du proche du métro Old street et proche du centre touristique. Les parties communes de l’immeuble (escalier d’accès) n’étaient pas très propres.

• cristina (10/5): La recomiendo - El apartamento es muy cómodo. La cocina está totalmente equipada al igual que las habitaciones. Había lavadora con opción de secado, la cual fué muy útil. Queda mismo en frente de una parada de bus y a unos 5 minutos andando de la estación de metro de Old Street. Hay varios supermercados en esa misma calle, al igual de restaurantes, cafeterías... Lo recomiendo al 100% La entrada a la vivienda se vé un poco sucia y descuidada.

Esperábamos para las fechas que hiciera frío (noviembre), pero la casa era muy cálida y sin poner la calefacción. Había secador que se agradece. Para una familia grande (éramos 5) la cubertería, cacerolas, platos... Se queda un poco escaso de número y tamaño. Se echa en falta además un fregaplatos aunque sea pequeño. También faltaba manteles, algún otro paño de cocina que solo había uno. También añadiría algún colgador para los abrigos, chaquetas,

• Tatiana (10/5): Ottimo alloggio vicino al centro - La struttura molto accogliente e ottima per ospitare 5 persone. Posizione eccezionale! A pochi minuti sia dalla fermata del bus sia dalla stazione metro della Northern Line. A causa dello sciopero della metro di questi giorni, abbiamo dovuto raggiungere la stazione di Liverpool Street a piedi per prendere lo Stansted Express, siamo arrivati in 15 minuti. Kie è molto gentile e disponibile.

• Grzęda (9/5): Bardzo wygodne mieszkanie w dobrym punkcie ze wszystkimi udogodnieniami i bardzo miłą obsługą. - Gospodyni pozwoliła nam zostawić bagaże wcześniej dla naszej wygody. Zadbała o nowy wiatrak, kiedy były upały. Świetna w kontakcie i pomocna w każdej sprawie. Czuliśmy się bardzo ile widziani i zadbani. Dobra okolica ze sklepami i knajpkami, blisko stacji metra i przystanków autobusów. Mieszkanie niewielkie ale dobrze wyposażone. Bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny w Londynie. Uczciwie przedstawiona oferta. Dziękujemy za miły pobyt.
• Dominika (9/5): Great apartment in a superb location - The location is absolutely brilliant!! We walked almost everywhere although the tube station is also only 4/5 minutes walk! Property was clean and the owner super helpful and nice! The only thing to keep in mind is that one of the rooms doesn’t have a window and the room with the window faces the Main Street so might want to get earplugs
• Johann (1/5): Wir hätten gar nicht erst einziehen sollen! - Nur die Nähe zur U-Bahn Zugang zur Wohnung zugemüllt mit stapelweise alter Post am Boden und am seitlichen Aufgang, Staub und Schmutz überall. Dreck und Haare in der gesamten Unterkunft. Fenster kaputt, ließen sich nicht schließen, was umso schlimmer war, da es an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße liegt. Bei einem viel sogar der Griff ab. Scheint Nachts bei Motorradfahren beliebt zu sein für Straßenrennen. Haben dann die Matratze und den Wohnraum dahinter gelegt um überhaupt etwas schlafen zu können. Leider haben wir damit auch gesehen wie eklig die Matratze war. Vermieterin war über booking.com eigentlich bemüht und nett. Nachdem wir auf WhatsApp gewechselt sind, um Bilder zu schicken, hat sich der Ton gewandelt und auch sei der Zustand in England, speziell in London normal. Siehe Bilder auch im Anhang, leider kann man nicht mehr hochladen. Die weißen Socken waren so nach einer halben Stunde ohne Schuhe in der Wohnung laufen.
• Belén (8/5): - La ubicación es buenísima, la zona muy agradable. El metro a dos minutos. La dueña muy agradable. Se nota que está reformado recientemente. El alojamiento solo tiene ventanas en un dormitorio (y se oye bastante ruido, para quien tenga sueño ligero es aconsejable llevar tapones para los oídos). El otro dormitorio no tiene. El piso es alargado, solo hay dos ventanas que dan a la calle y ya no hay ninguna más.
• Charlene (1/5): STAY AWAY! - Tiny narrow apartment, only 2 windows in the front bedroom so lack of natural lighting. We knew that there was no aircon when we booked, but not even a fan was provided for our stay when it was over 35 degrees celsius that week. It was so unbearably hot inside and extremely uncomfortable. When we arrived the towels were all damp, some still left in the washing machine. Hard to tell what was clean. They were stained and bleached which looked unsightly. The entry/kitchen floor smelled like bleach upon arrival and bleached our socks when we took our shoes off. The rest of the apartment was dirty, dusty and in desperate need of maintenance. Bathroom door wouldn't shut fully and was rubbing on floor. Marks and dust bunnies everywhere. Shower drain loose. We discovered the toilet seat was broken (completely coming off) and notified the host straight away as this was something we couldn't bear with. She acted surprised and said she would get someone to fix it tomorrow morning. Late afternoon the next day and still no one had come to fix the seat, messaged the host and got a reply 6 hours later saying that the maintenance guy was sick?? Just lies and excuses. Discovered later from previous reviews that the host was aware of the broken toilet seat weeks ago but obviously had not bothered to do anything about it before our stay! Hairs and crumbs in kitchen cutlery drawers. Just disgusting. Poor communication, slow responses from host. No instructions even given for check out. Host is dishonest and doesn't appear to care about the client or in maintaining the apartment. Way over-priced for what it was. Should have received our money back. Was very disappointing and glad we didn't stay long. Will NOT be back!!
• Ricardo (8/5): Very good - Very well located, near the subway, bus station, groceries, restaurants... The zone was safe, at least we never felt otherwise. The flat was clean, well equipped and corresponded to the description. The host was very friendly and gave us useful tips and information. The info provided in the flat about visiting London was also very useful, thank you for that! The entrance of the building was dark and not very clean. It's an old building but could be more welcoming in that respect (although the flat was ok). The only issue we found about the flat itself was the noise coming from the street in one of the rooms, the one with windows, as the windows don't stop the noise completely and it's a busy street even during the night. The other room, not close to the street, was ok though.

The apartment has everything you could possibly need. The bedding is soft, the beds are comfortable, and the towels smell like home. Everything is clean and cozy. A great place to stay for a few days.

• Ditte (4/5): Disappointing - I did not like it. The cleaning is horrible. The apartment is filthy, not just dusty. We spent two hours cleaning upon arrival - and that was just a scratch in the surface. Hopefully the owner hires another cleaning company in the future. The windows in the bedroom with windows are gapping, which makes it drafty and very noisy. The bedroom without windows are noisy due to downstairs ventilation. The toilet door cannot close. There are only four chairs. But hey, the sheets are clean, there are loads of television channels, the wifi is reasonable, the kitchen is allright, the area is great!

• Anna (8/5): Very good - Central location, close to metro station, grocery stores and various restaurants. The street is quite busy and noisy, but one of the bedrooms is located on the opposite side of the house, so it is an option if you need it to be quiet (I was fine with earplugs). The house is old, with poor sound insulation, but the neighbors maintain silence during the late hours and night. Infrared/Oil radiators are provided for heating. The beds are comfortable. The apartment has everything you need, including fairly functional kitchen. A very good place to stop for a couple of days.

• Eunyeong (4/5): If you don't care about the cleanliness, use it at a reasonable price. - The location was good. The price was reasonable compared to other accommodation in London, 1. The property was really dirty. There were lots of dust on the floor, fan, radiator, and etc. Cleanliness is the most important factor in the stay regardless of the price. 2. The dishes and cutlery were so dirty that I didn't even want to touch them. 3. There are windows in one of the two rooms, but this window does not function as soundproofing at all. You can feel as if you are sleeping outside. 4. There is poor communication with employees. Even basic information such as check-in and check-out is not provided in advance, so you have to ask and wait for a while to hear the answer. 5. There is a separate location to pick up keys. They say 3 minutes, but it takes 7 minutes. I'm not the type of person who writes reviews this passionately. Thank you for making me spend my time on this.

• Lynne (9/5): Good place will be staying again. - The property was perfect for the location for visiting family. Plenty of bus stops n Tube 5 mins away. Two large bedrooms and adequate facilities for meals and drinks although we always eat out. Contacting the owner was easy too. The shower cubicle could do with some tlc and the entrance too.

Super nice restaurants around and there's an affordable and delicious street food market 3min walking. We were 3 and the apartment's size was perfect. It is equipped with everything you need and also a washing machine which is super handy. The landlady is great and she really made us feel at home, we had an issue with the key and she was very understanding and fixed it super fast.

Near to Old St station ( Northern line); all supermarkets, restaurants, salons, pubs, banks etc. We travelled in winter so heating was important to us from a warmer climate. Property had ample mobile heaters. Didnt need to use all. Had a fan too. Washing machine is new & works…. well everything works including bin lid press. Everything we needed was here. Appreciate this very much. So happy with this property. Recommended highly. Property construction next door- bit noisy thru d walls. Luckily they work day time & most times we were out. So not too much of a problem.
• Tim (8/5): Very good - The apartment was well located, had all the necessary facilities. The table and chairs provided are useless, it's better off having cafe style bench table and stools. The third bed is a very poor fold up bed. It takes a genius to work out how to use the dryer on the washer/dryer combo

We were warm enough and there were heaters if needed. Washer/dryer was great. Met our expectations from description and what we paid.

Appartment very dirty (fridge, floors, dust everywhere, you can t walk without having your socks dirty), the only windows in the whole appartment are in one bedroom (the other one, the bathroom,kitchen and living room are blind so no daylight at all) and are not isolated, so it s very noisy and it s as if you were sleeping in the street. By the way, there are building workers just next door and it began at 8am...The shower is equiped with a heater so it s too hot or too cold and the bathroom has no shower mat.When we arrived and saw that the appartment was so dirty, we asked the owner to refund us because we didn t want to stay here but she refused, so we had to clean it entirely ourselves to be able to live in it. She made no effort during our stay even when booking asked her to provide clearing. It s clearly worth not more than à 5.
• Kielly (10/5): Exceptional - The perfect place. Close to everything. The host was fantastic, there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do to make our stay more comfortable. I collected the keys at the shop on the corner (2 minutes walk) as I couldn’t make the normal check in time, I was running super late from the airport. Such an easy check in and couldn’t fault the place. was perfect for me and my family. We have re booked for October. Thanks again!
