Guest Reviews
- Emma (7/5): - The small space was very well thought out!!! Had everything needed!! Very comfortable! The very loud noise from the heating pipes in the walls. Also couldn't turn the heating off so had to sleep with the window open.
- Sunil (7/5): - Location was close to station. It was cold and could not get heating on.
- SistaGirl (7/5): Really good location but....... - Great location, 5-10 minute walk to Kings Cross station, a few pubs and various restaurants at either end of the street. The mini kitchen with fridge was a bonus. A washing machine and dryer on site was also very handy. The pillows were very uncomfortable, they were hard and flat. The railway line runs beside the flat and although you don't get much noise you can feel the vibration from the passing trains.
- Neda (9/5): Superb - The apartmant is clean. Instructions to get to it are great. The location is also great. It was clean. The room is tiny. If you plan to Just sleep there it's great, you don't need anything else. But if you plan to spend some time there, it can be tricky, as one step devides the bed from the kitchen and everything else. The train is going very close to the room. It didn't bother me, but my sister had issues sleeping.
- Raymond (4/5): ……… - Its location. It was very small. Access was very difficult due to an inward swinging door. There were initial problems facing access to the room due to unclear instructions. We had to seek alternate accommodation while this problem was resolved costing us £300. In future we will stay at hotels only.
- Belqies (8/5): Very good -
- Jeff (8/5): Very good - Studio is very compact. An extremely difficult exit and entry, due to door overlap into studio. My suitcase needed to be open like a butterfly to get past doors then repacked in hallway.
- Henry (10/5): Exceptional - everything was top-notch I’ll be recommending this to everyone!
- Celina (2/5): Disgusting not worth the money - Location Headboard was broken, exposed wires in bathroom, bad smelling drains, moldy grout in shower. Raised complaint whilst at property which was picked up and said would be addressed, heard nothing further!
- Serebrianik (9/5): Superb -
- Jekaterina (9/5): Convenient stay with essentials, great location, but awkward door. - Although the room was small, it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It came equipped with a private shower, microwave, kettle, and all the essential tools for a convenient experience. The compact space was well-utilized, making it cosy and functional. The location was fantastic—just a 5-minute walk from King's Cross train station, yet situated in a pretty quiet district. A great bonus is a washing machine and dryer available on the ground floor for an extra charge. Perfect for a short, hassle-free stay! The only downside of my stay was the door in the corridor between rooms 17 and 16. It was quite uncomfortable and could really use some attention. If the hosts removed it, the stay would be perfect. Other than that, everything else was great!
- Caitlin (1/5): Horrible scam, it is a bedroom in a student flat - Absolutely horrible stay and a complete scam. This is not a “dainty studio apartment” it is literally a bedroom in a student flat. There is a terrible smell of weed through the hall and therefore the apartment, we were woken up twice at 6:30 in the morning by the neighbours blasting loud music (of course, because it’s a student flat), there is a metro rail right next to the window which you hear even with the window closed.
There was a fire alarm going off for three days which caused a loud noise disturbance. This was promised to be taken care of within a day, but also a lie. It took three days which led to two nights with 0 sleep.
If I can give one advise, definitely do not book here. The host said we should organise the refund with booking itself but the host needs to approve for the refund to be processed, and now it is not approved so we will not see any money back for this absolute scam. If we knew it was a student flat we would have never booked it in the first place .
- Elizabeth (6/5): Would recommend with caution - Close to train station Internet and tv never worked although I was offered a refund
No toiletries
Very tiny, only one chair
Difficult access thru narrow stairs
- Around_you (7/5): Good - Good location Room is not big enough but our luggage fitted
- Ahmad (8/5): Overall B+ - WiFi doesn’t work at all Location and cleanliness
- Layjoh (1/5): nightmare from hell AVOID!! - entering the property was like a maze but the only difference is you are usually rewarded for getting to the end! when you finally get to the rooms its f0000K00G HORRENDOUS the property manager was so poor at communicating it was a joke she kept telling me to message her assistant she didn't care about any of then problems I was presented with and most defiantly did not want to part was with any of the money I had paid when I requested a refund when my reasons for a refund were valid!!
money focused don't care about guests money focused pathetic excuse of a human
- Alex (4/5): Disappointing - Whilst the property itself is fine for a short stay. I didn’t like the fact they make you pay another deposit by an external company. My booking was nearly a month ago and I still don’t have the deposit booking back and I’m not having to contact the external company to try and get my money back.
- Andy (1/5): Clean and comfortable apartment, spoilt by the smoking of cannabis in the adjacent apartment - Within 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross Pervading smell of cigarettes and cannabis being smoked in an adjacent apartment. The room stank all day and night even with windows wide open and kitchen extractor running.
- Brian (2/5): Keep away its a con , - Clean The room is tiny like a box not like pictures on website, also right next to train line very very noisy all day and night , room is clean, but a very strong smell of hash weed etc all over the hallway, as the place also have people and families staying long term ie not working and are foreign, also which is not on booking .com ,once you book they want a £300 deposit which they hold for 10 days, or to avoid this you need to pay an extra £36 pounds ,its a con ,avoid at all cost ,photos will be sent its a fraud,as I said bed comfortable and clean ,as £60 is included for cleaner on price i must be in wrong job £60 to clean a box room 15mins ,this is an honest review from myself ,I have already contacted ,booking .com about this via phone ,its not an appartment, its a box
- Javier (8/5): Very good - Its really accesible to everything, just a few minutes walk and you're in the train station. That internet wasn't availble
- Andrew (5/5): Passable - Smelled really strongly of cigarettes, seemed to be coming through the window or a vent somewhere
- Diane (3/5): Okay - Room was sparkling clean.
