Guest Reviews
- Amit (8/5): Wonderful stay! - The location was great close to a park and a tube station. The apartment was spacious with all amenities. The heat was turned on to the maximum which made me feel sick.
- Guest (8/5): Great location and value. - Great location and had everything you need. Unfortunately the TV wasn’t working but the company came out the same day to fix it. They couldn’t fix it but got us Netflix to watch which was perfectly fine.

- ACR (7/5): Nice area, and nice apartment but with some maintenance to be done and some supply to be renewed. - The area is really nice. The apartment is closed to the tube station, a park, shops and restaurants. We had a sort of emergency due to lack of attention by the apartment managers but the host rapidly showed up to solve the problem. Appliances all working very well (only the fridge could be better). The bed in the bedroom is a sort of queen bed so not very comfortable for two adults if the are not small size. We found a big stain on the sofa where one person should sleep (no use of sofa cover that can be washed). Even some linens, towels, and pillows were stained. Nearly all windows difficult to open and close because damaged. Venetian blinds were covered of dust. If you have light sleep, the train passing by could be a problem. Dishes and other kitchen stuff very old, ruined and some cracked. Not all lights working, in particular in the leaving room.

- Lauren (10/5): Great stay! - Excellent location, 2 mins from tube and highbury fields, great coffee place over the street and lots of restaurants nearby. Flat clean and had everything we needed. Host was super helpful and provided an extra fan during London heatwave at a moments notice
- Rachel (10/5): Enjoyed a lovely weekend away here, great location to reach London and other amenities. - Apartment was in a great location, with a friendly and helpful host! Opposite a lovely cafe which was nice for breakfast/lunch. Apartment was clean, bright, and spacious. Street outside was noisy sometimes late at night/early in the morning.
- Liz (6/5): Great location but in need of some attention - The location was excellent and the light flooding into the apartment was very welcome. The washing machine/dryer was a bonus, as was having cooking facilities. While the location was excellent for the trains, it was quite noisy at 4.30 in the morning when the goods train passed through (out the back). The apartment was not particularly clean - under the bed needs a good vacuum/wash. Much of the crockery in the kitchen is cracked or chipped and needs to be replaced.
- Katharina (7/5): Convenient apartment in nice area. - The apartment is very well situated in a quiet residential area. Directly opposite are two nice cafes, and further down the street is a microbrewery, that also serves food. The park is a 2min walk down the road.
The accommodation has everything one needs and contact can be made easily with the host if needed. The hall and stairs were smelly and a pile of leaves from last year in the entrance hall. Apartment needs a couple minor repairs but nothing that would have caused any problems to our stay
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (6/5): We expected better for the price charged - we would not stay there again. - The location was very convenient for access to public transport, cafes and restaurants, shopping and parkland. The apartment was light and spacious by London standards, with good ventilation, and a pleasant view to the west. The kitchen was well equipped with good sized refrigerator, dish washer, washer/drier and appliances. The area is very noisy due to proximity to overground railway line, cafe and pub. The apartment needs maintenance - broken and cracked bathroom fittings, broken and chipped crockery, broken blind cords. The bed is very narrow. Access is by two flights of steep, narrow stairs.
- Marietha (8/5): Accommodation well equipped. A good area near trains and busses. Highbury park around the corner. - Near Highbury and Islington tube station. Good communication with owner. Photos to help with getting into property. Could not find a plug for the kitchen sink.
- Atilla (7/5): Good -
- Jsbr (9/5): Superb -
- Glenda (9/5): Convenient stay in a great location - Our 2nd stay here as we loved the location near Highbury fields and close to the Tube. Great apartment in an unassuming block. Had all the comforts we needed for a family of 3. Washing machine a bonus . Loved the surroundings and even a little coffee shop across the road for morning coffee! The bathroom could do with a bit of tweaking especially the shower tap and loose toilet holder(since last time) especially as the price has increased substantially in 1 year!
- Carles (10/5): Excellent communication. Good value for money. Good location, close to Underground station, Highbury Fields, Emirates St - Location.
- Marietha (9/5): All you need is there. Near station and bus. Easy to communicate with owner - Near busses and trains All well there
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Central location, lovely flat with great amenities
- Tina (10/5): Brilliant Mum and daughter trip to London. - Less than 500 feet to London Underground, lots of restaurants and grocery store. Kitchen and bathroom had all the supplies necessary to make our stay comfortable. Quiet neighborhood.
Host was extremely helpful as my niece arrived at 1:00 pm, which is when the owner met her and provided the key and necessary information.
Couch folds out to a king size bed. The bed in the bedroom is a double not a queen size but that was ok we slept on the pull out king size bed.
The apartment is on the second floor with no elevator so if you have mobility challenges it makes it a challenge.
However we would definitely stay at this property again!
- Laszlo (9/5): Long weekend in London - Comfortable apartment, fully equipped.
Near to public transport hub - tube, buses, rail in 2 mins. You can reach city in 15-20 mins. As well as pubs, restaurants and groceries, while the street of the flat is calm and not noisy. Altogether it is a nice area, you may feel yourself "at home". Minor things.
Not easy to use windows, some of the lamps were not working, not easy to open the couch.
- Anonymous (7/5): Nice. - I liked the space and how clean it was, also because it’s close to the train station The heater was not working properly and the agent I was talking to was quite unhelpful
- Knut (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (9/5): Superb - Lovely flat. Great area. Highly recommended.
- Glenda (9/5): Wonderful stay in the heart of the suburbs yet close to central London, made us feel like locals. we just loved it and ca - location near to Highbury fields, underground, shops and eating places. nothing
- Laura (5/5): Passable - fantastic location.
modern furniture in living room.
free parking. - flat a little tired, in a tired house.
- some blinds not working, crack on toilet, painted
over mold, broken freezer drawer, no duvet for sofa bed.
- very close to train line which isn’t a problem in
daytime but throughout the night they are very noisy.
- owner entered by himself whilst one of us was there
alone. he had got the wrong flat. what’s a shame is
that he didn’t come back to apologise and explain
and reassure that it wouldn’t happen again.
