Guest Reviews
- Linda (8/5): -
- Jacquelyn (9/5): - Great location great large apartment. Issues with washing machine but addressed in a timely manner
- Lorraine (6/5): - The View and the location. The shower was dirty, full of mould, and it kept filling up with the water that could not drain away
- Susan (5/5): As said we wouldn’t stay again because of the issues mentioned previously . Very clean but very noisy with the valley wa - I chose the location as the area was good for us . The apartment itself was very clean and the beds were comfortable. However , there was an alley way that ran alongside the building and it was extremely noisy . We had intense weather whilst there and we couldn’t turn off the heating in one of the bedrooms or in the main bathroom . The window in the main bedroom would not close , it was jammed open . I messaged but I got a message back saying send me a photo . Not sure how that helped . No one came to have a look . Wouldn’t stay again .
- Sarah (9/5): Great location and apartments - Nice large 2 bedroom apartment with good facilities, 2 bathrooms. It was very warm for the time of year so we didn't get cold. You can see a great view of the Shard from the top floor. Tea and coffee condiments were available which was a really impressive touch. Definitely needed to have mirrors in each bedroom as we could not straighten our hair in the bathrooms.
- Yurii (10/5): The apartments correspond to the price/quality - The room was clean, all the necessary items for convenience were in the room. One of the bedrooms, which has its own bathroom, had a wet floor under the carpet, after which we moved to the second room
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Hopkins (9/5): Awesome - Ease of collection, clean, comfortable, location Need door hooks in the washroom, and towel in the kitchen would have liked to have paid less
- Rebecca (8/5): Lovely home from home in the city! - Great apartment as Tesco express across the road so we were able to pick up supplies for breakfast and snacks!
Also close proximity to a range of bars and restaurants.
Location of the apartment was fab, so close to the tube.
The online assistance was brilliant keeping us up to date every step of the way in the lead up to our stay. The living space was great, just what we needed to relax and put your feet up after a day exploring the city. Couldn’t help but notice a couple of scorch marks on the carpets in the bedrooms, and the sinks didn’t have plugs, only tiny things!
Please get an Airfryer for the kitchen, it would make such a difference!!
- Annette (3/5): Very poor service if something is wrong. Good location. - Location is good being very close to London Bridge station, Tower Bridge, etc. Decent restaurants and Tesco nearby so very handy.
The apartmentment was clean. Despite being close to station wasn't noisy. The lift wasn't working for the duration of my stay despite the vendor being aware of an elderly person in my group. My elderly mother uses a wheelchair and has limited mobility. The lift out of service was not communicated to me in advance. It's a self service check in and therefore nobody to speak to. No reply on their emergency contact until near lunchtime 2nd day. We had no choice but for my mother to struggle up and down stairs and we had to carry the chair as no reception nor luggage area downstairs. Not safe at all never mind the physical stress caused. To provide a balance - I was offered a move to another apartment late afternoon in the second day, however, as we had already bought tickets for events in the area that evening we weren't able to accommodate a move at such short notice as there wasn't enough time to relocate to the other side of London approaching rush hour.
I was told I should have checked in advance. I strongly disagree; as far as I was aware I booked an apartment knowing it had a lift - they should have contacted me if that wasn't the case. Again for balance, I did get £30 refund and the vendor suggested we have lunch! Regardless, the £30 was certainly not adequate for the physical and mental stress on my mother trying to manage 3 flights of stairs to access the apartment for 3 days and as a percentage per person on what we paid for the accommodation was absolute minimum. However, it's not about the money more the physical impact on my mother absolutely had a detrimental impact on enjoying the break. It would have taken very little effort but would have made such a difference to our trip if we had been told in advance of no available lift and we could have made alternative plans. Very, very disappointing service.
- Ramesh (9/5): Great location for both official & touristy trip to london - Great location and very close to Tower Bridge as well as London Bridge stations. As it was an official trip, it was very close to my work place as well. It was a fully furnished apartment so all facilities were there and very useful. The WIFI was very patchy and not consistent so we just reverted to using mobile data.
- Stephen (7/5): Enjoyable, flexible, and convenient place to stay - There was a lot of street noise.
- Lynora (8/5): Fantastic location by Tower Bridge/London Bridge, roomy and comfortable property for a family trip. - Fantastic location for multiple sites in Central London, quite close to London Bridge station with buses across the street. Good sized apartment, quite well appointed. We found it spacious and comfortable. Good light control/blinds for jet lag naps. Tesco across the street. Busy location but noise was not a big deal. Elevator didn’t work - they warned us about that- but the stairwell was really quite nasty, with not very clean carpet. Sewer gas smell in flat intermittently. Google maps for Viridian Apartnents Tooley street only showed a “sister” property a block over which confused us until we dug out the full address.
- Maureen (9/5): Superb - This is in a great location, very quiet, very clean and while staff isn't on site, they were incredibly responsive to emails when I needed help. I'd highly recommend this apartment. Also, while the elevator was out during our stay, the staff made us aware of this in advance, which was appreciated. Took some getting used to a combined washer/dryer as it used steam and takes awhile but it cleaned well and was wonderful to have this is the unit.
- Kellie (10/5): Really great location, quick, simple and easy. - Really great size, comfy beds, no fighting for a bathroom. Check in was so simple. Temperature good all through. Quiet and what a view of the shard!
Location was amazing, area has a really great atmosphere. Really took the stress out of why we were there. There wasnt a big enough sofa. Lift was out of action.
- Tinny (7/5): Not perfect but good enough. - The apartment is spacious. Location is super convenient. The washing machine works really well, they even provide detergent which is very thoughtful. Property manager was responsive as well. The elevator was broken for days so we had to carry our big luggages all the way to third floor. Quite noisy at night you can hear people yelling downstairs and also the traffic.
- Sheila (5/5): Very average accommodation - Clean and bright. Very good location Lift out of action and we were not informed. Apartment on third floor. Apartment too hot even with the heating off. No coffee machine even though it was included in the facilities. Inadequate comfy seating in lounge area. Stairs to apartment, carpets very badly stained.
- Kopitemac (8/5): Great location! - Great location for trains, restaurants and shops. We had a nice balcony with the shard in the background. We would have utilised it more if we weren't staying in January it would be great in the summer. . The flusher in the onsuite wasn't working properly. And no one collected our rubbish or supplied fresh towels we were there for 7 days.
- Dalwinder (5/5): Passable - Property was a good location. Good facilities. The hall ways smelt really bad, no lighting in the landing had to use a touch when opening the door. The lift did not work when we arrived.
- Ariel (9/5): Superb -
- Lara (8/5): Great location, apartment and layout. A few improvements could be made with the amenties. Nothing fancy but hand soap an - Great location, great layout and size, many towels. No hand soap, no garbage bin in the kitchen, nothing to dry surfaces or dishes
- John (8/5): Very good - Close to public transport, easy access Traffic could be noisy
- Kirsten (10/5): Very comfortable stay, would highly recommend the property - Excellent location, spotlessly clean very well equipped. Would have liked hooks for coats in hallway and for towels in bathroom
- Lorraine (9/5): Superb - Spacious apartment very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Excellent location near to tube
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (9/5): First class home from home accommodation in a prime location. Superb! - First class home from home accommodation in a prime location. Superb!
- Christian (5/5): Passable - Nice rooms for a Family with Kids Nobody there
Received the wrong entry Code
Waited a long time in the evening to get in
- Luke (7/5): Good -
- Megan (9/5): Excellent stay in central London - This apartment was an ideal location in central London which was great value for money. The apartment had excellent facilities and was well equipped with kitchen and living essentials. Would recommend staying here. The only downfall was the main front door to the block of apartments didn’t lock which was slightly unsettling in busy central London but the apartment itself locked which was ok.
- George (7/5): Good - Great location, great view of the Shard and city skyline, well equipped, clean, Smart TV, good kitchen, two bathrooms, loads of nice towels, balcony on 5th floor for views, easy no-contact check in and check out Noisy in living area but that's due to location from bars below, it was fine in bedrooms to sleep, smell of drains from bathroom, we kept the extractor fan on and opened windows, bed was hard to us but that's quite personal and subjective
- Amelia (1/5): Bad - Desperate rooms I left two items behind and after extensive messages back and forward including calls. They where unable to support me and kept asking me to speak to different people. I said I will pay for post and packaging but it they said the cleaner chucked the items away even though I told them the items where left behind.
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional - Clean , spacious
- Mrkz (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, clean apartment.
- Abdulaziz (8/5): it was a great stay and will recommend staying again - the location was amazing. it is opposite to Tesco which was convenient for my groceries shopping. the underground 4 minutes waking. it is very close to London tower bridge.
3 minutes walking for a bus stop which was very helpful.
the beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean its not what i didn’t like. it about what could be improved.
1- putting more kitchen utensils will be useful.
2- putting a fan in the rooms as it could be little bit hot. as there is no window , only a terrace door which was bit not comfortable to open while sleeping in the first floor and it was little bit noisy at night by the ppl walking and the cars
also, i got some difficulties of 10 minutes delay while checking in as the code was different from which i was given but at the end it was solved by the great staff.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Great location and really clean. Good size. The weather was hot and no aircon plus lots of windows (that didn’t open wide) made it v sticky. We were provided 3 fans x
- Kiram (9/5): Overall, it was a very good stay and I would strongly recommend this place. Ideally situated and very accessible. - This property is ideally situated having multiple attractions within walking distance. Also, very close to London bridge underground and train station. There were a few things that needed to be fixed. Specially the windows would not close completely. This meant we had to sleep with all the noise from the street and surrounding apartments. It will wake you up in the middle of the night.
- Sikander (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing -
- Richard (9/5): Tower Bridge Apartment - Location near Tower Briidge Two bedrooms. Plenty of room. Bit noisy at night fr adjacent air con / fans.
- Jinn (9/5): Superb -
- Benji (3/5): Bedding was good but hospitality was not up to the expectations - Location is great! Bedding was clean and good. No hospitality arrangements done. No kitchen towels. No hand soap. No carpets or bath mats in the bathrooms. Windows won’t close. Not even UHT milk to make tea on arrival. Sofa position to TV is not great. No table mats.
- Sarang (9/5): Superb -
- Fazal (9/5): Superb - the location is great. the apartment and the area is safe. i was there for 7 days. would expect cleaner to turnup twice a week.
- Almas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (4/5): Disappointing - Great location close to the tube, Tesco across the road. The blackout blind was broken in the kids room meaning that they couldn't sleep in there and had to sleep in the lounge room (sunset 2200, sunrise 0430, street lamp directly outside the room). After travelling 26 hours with two kids, this really affected them.
Despite escalating this on day 1, they didn't fix the blind. They agreed to offer a 30% refund as compensation, however, communication has been poor about this and the refund has still not issued over 2 weeks later despite advising it would take 5-7 days.
Very disappointed in how this problem has been managed.
- Adamskiiii (9/5): Superb - Clean, modern apartment. Great location for sightseeing.
- Poppie (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (9/5): Great location - Location is amazing, very comfortable no clean Staff could have been more helpful with letting us drop our bags off as there was a cleaning service around and check in is late
- Amanda (8/5): Roomy flat, fantastic location - Large flat with two huge bathrooms No tea towels 😀
- Christina (9/5): Superb - Location
- Omar (8/5): Very good -
- Lucille (9/5): Superb - Check-in is just a little late(16:00) and a little early (10:00). Just an hour earlier and later would actually help a great deal.
- Anonymous (8/5): Nice location. Unfortunately no AC unit and it was 77 degrees in the apartment at night which made it difficult to get a - Great location No AC and it was hot at night which made it uncomfortable for sleeping. Carpet was worn and dirty.
- Sabina (8/5): Apart from that awful sewage smell apartment was great in every way. - Very spacious and comfortable flat The smell of the sewage from one of the bathroom was extremely bad and we had to leave the windows open all the time to avoid this smell.
- Christian (10/5): Perfect location to explore London. Very nice and well equipped apartment. A top recommendation! -
- Amanda (9/5): strategic place - the property located at a very strategic area, it’s so eazy to access to many tourist area, near borough market,so you can come early to the market, eazy access to public transport such as bus and tube the internet little bit low
- Jasmin (5/5): average - location was strategic and apt was large. the wifi wasn't working. We booked for the washer dryer and the dryer wasn't working, leaving us with damp clothes. They sent a maintainance person but never bothered to update us the outcomes even though we asked a few times for an update
- Saud (9/5): Superb -
- Sinead (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, so accessible and great value for money
- Keith (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious, well located for the hospital. Good eating facilities in the neighbourhood Nothing.
- Peter (9/5): Great value 2 bed apartment with easy access to tourist hotspots and transport links. - Very convenient location, very well appointed, spotlessly clean, cannot fault at all - would definitely stay again. Some road noise, but no worse than other places to stay in London.
- Visham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sascha (7/5): Good location, clean apartment, but sparsely furnished kitchen. - we stayed on the fifth floor which was high enough to be sufficiently quiet. The apartment was clean and looked nice. The location close to London Bridge, Burrough Market and Tower Bridge was great. There weren’t any utensils for cooking provided beyond the absolute basic for breakfast - e.g. no cutting board, no large bowls for a salad, no salad serving cutlery or a salad tumbler or sieve for noodles. no coffee maker. most cupboards were thus empty. No basic kitchen stuff - eg no dish towel, no spices (except two tiny paper wrapped one time portions of salt), no oils, vinegars, herbs. Almost all apartments and holiday homes we have stayed in previously were much better equipped.
The bedrooms were facing the offices across the street.
The shower head has facing towards the opposite wall and could not be adjusted to a more 45 degree angle, thus forcing you to shower the head to get the water stream down the rest of the body.
- Onlygrace (6/5): it’s good location but the apartment have problem with the lock. we arrived with unlock apartment and we have problems t - clean the lock have issue
- Buchmasser (10/5): Exceptional - great location, great property.
- Wjd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristiina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): enjoyable and comfortable stay - great location
clean and nicely decorated
spacious and comfortable
view of The Shard - would be nice if there are bar soaps in bathrooms and
hand/paper towels in kitchen
- would be perfect if standard check-out time be changed from 10:00am to 11:00am like others
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Viktoriya (10/5): Lovely apartment close to many attractions - The apartment was very nice and at a great location. It's on a lively street with many options for transportation. nothing, everything was perfect.
- Diana (10/5): Perfect - Location, it was very clean and spacious, a huge supermarket just across the building and lots of restaurants in the area. -
- Izabela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashok (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noushad (7/5): Moderm well located but not value for money - I enjoyed the location and proximity to the underground as well as the sights. apartment was modern with well designed bathrooms and kitchen. I enjoyed the heated towel racks in the bathrooms and the functional kitchen. we stayed for 6 nights. We were given very limited supplies of washing tabs and toilet rolls that was probably meant to last 3 days. main bedroom radiator didn’t work, was reported to them but nothing was done to rectify.
- Omar (5/5): it’s good place to stay if you are planning to stay more than week , for short periods I don’t recommend this apartment, - location the furniture was old and dirty a little bit
- Utamanseelan (9/5): really appreciate helpful customer service during check on unable to open lock key they sent assistance and no immediate -
- Elisa (8/5): recommended! amazing location and great apartment! - great space and great location gas stopped working and technician had to come 2-3 hrs later. Bedroom windows next to busy street which made it hard to sleep at night as noise isolation was not great.
- Danish (9/5): Tooley Apartment - The location was excellent with access to the London BridgeTube Station very nearby amd lots of cafes around and Tesco just opposite to the apartment. The lift didn't operate after the first 2 days of our stay so it was a hassle for the remaining days as you expect to have the lift operational after a day long excursion.
- Lyudmyla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (9/5): Excellent property. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay there again if possible. - Very central. Booking in and out was very easy. Good instructions on how to get there and obtain keys. Communication from property was quick when we had questions. Apartment was quiet even though it’s a busy street. Check out was a little early.
- Mark (8/5): disappointed that things were broken - modern and clean toilets, washing machine, ironing board all broken
- Daniel (1/5): Bad - I ordered a cot for my 2 year old, a travel cot was provided with no mattress and no bedding, just a hard wooden bottom. when I contacted the provider I was advised this was correct and they would not provide anything further due to health and safety. the attitude was poor, the flat itself is falling apart and covered in stains. I would advise this place for the location but the operator and property is of a very bad standard.
- Lenka (9/5): Overall, very good, and we would choose it again. - Fantastic location in busy but feel-safe area from which you get everywhere quickly and easily. Great view of the Shard from the terrace.
Clean, spacious apartment, exactly as pictured on the photos, very well equipped. The shower in one of the bathrooms was a bit loose. Hot water was not running the first day on our arrival but was fixed quickly after contacting the owner.
- Aminat (2/5): Left the apartment as soon as I could because we were uncomfortable with the air quality and servic - Great location, apartment is spacious Apartment is not well ventilated and smells damp, feels like there may be mould in the apartment.
Hot water wasn’t working during our stay, called the management and they asked if I knew where the boiler is🤔 - It’s your apartment, you should tell me where the boiler is.
The managers did not turn up to fix the boiler until we left to look for a more comfortable accommodation.
- Shoni (9/5): Great apartment in central London. Would definitely stay here again. Tescos Express opposite which mean buying essential - Central location, well equipped and spacious. The beds were comfortable and had clean, fresh bedding. Bathrooms were clean and the towels were clean and fresh too. Shower attachments in need of repair, carpets were dirty.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
