• Peter (1/5): Awful because of the intruder and we were two male work colleagues, very concerning if it were a family staying in this - Location We had an intruder on the first night who entered the property using the code and entered both rooms then decided he would stay on the sofa! We got up alarmed and ask what he was doing in the property and he said he had got the wrong apartment, but he had the code to the property, so the rest of the stay was tainted and we were very unsettled. We advise management of this and they blamed us for not closing door!!
• Emma (9/5): Perfect appartment for a short stay in the area. - Simple check in and access procedure. Spotlessly clean. Good facilities including towels and toiletries. The foldaway bed has seen better days but was adequate.

Shops, restaurants, pubs and public transport (bus, Underground Camden Town, Overground Camden Road) nearby. Only 3 chairs at dining table whilst advertised for 4 persons; waterpressure showers low, balcony very small
• Danielle (4/5): Great location, TERRIBLE nights sleep and squealing taps. - Location was great, 5-10min walk from Camden Market. Flat was spacious and balcony wasn't overlooked at all. Had extra bedding and towels available. Bed in smaller room was broken, unusable and therefore incredibly uncomfortable. Half the slats on the window side were missing altogether (some fell off during the night waking us up), the main middle slat wasn't screwed down, the bed frame had snapped in half and the supports underneath were bent. Tried the fold out bed instead but was even worse and also broken. Considering we booked this as a place to rest between 6hr journey and sightseeing - it fell short massively, especially for the price. There are reviews complaining about same things months ago so clearly not been addressed. The kitchen sink tap hasn't been fitted properly and squealed like a horse constantly - we had to prop it up with the knife block to get any peace. The host was very hard to get hold of in run up to stay. Called and messaged multiple times but only got door key details 3 days after I was told I would. No reply after reporting above during stay problems.

• Wisam (6/5): I would definitely not go back there - Location is good An unpleasant experience at all. I entered the apartment, the bed is not comfortable and broken immediately i tried to fix it!! The kitchen faucet is not working!! noisy all the night The TV remote does not work also! One last thing, because of a problem with the locker battery, I had to stay outside the apartment and there is no answer at all and help!! I would definitely not go back there

Not enough utensils / chairs for the 6 allowed to stay Clear the hosts don’t think about the practicalities of a group staying Some easy fixes would make it great, but the care just doesn’t seem to be there Fresh paint needed as walls stained

A chair was missing from the kitchen table so they had moved a balcony chair instead. This meant the six of us couldn’t sit round the table.

All apartment facilities are in good working order, and you have everything to prepare breakfast. The showers and beds were good, but the water flow in the central shower was weak. The spacious living room and sofa are very comfortable for a 5th person. The apartment is conveniently located near a bus station, and the tube station is only 10 minutes away. Camden Market is only a 5-minute walk. There is a nearby pizza shop that stays open until midnight and a supermarket that is open 24/7. . Since we were on the first floor, you could occasionally hear people on the street, but it was mostly quiet

• Andrew (8/5): Good property and good position - The apartment have great position, is near to Camden town in a quiet place. Not too far there is the metro. The floor creaks a lot, it feels like walking on the back of an eighty year old. Because of the creaking, I woke up the others while I wanted to go do my business in peace. Excellent anti-theft against unwanted people

• Eftychia (8/5): Very good - The apartment was beautiful, clean, cosy, spacious and at a very nice spot. The only thing that we didn't like was a sound from the water pipes, which at times was quite loud and even though the water tap was closed this sound would continue even at night. It kept me awake. I think this is a plumbing think which can be fixed. I sent a message mentioning the problem, but received no reply.

• Rachel (10/5): Spacious and well equipped apartment in fantastic location - Apartment was spacious and clean, with everything you could need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The location was fantastic and the building was easy to find. The staff were super helpful on booking.com giving us clear instructions in plenty of time before our visit. I would definitely rent this apartment again in future. Sofa bed in the living room was slightly uncomfortable but we informed the staff about this and got a satisfactory response straight away. It was slightly noisy sleeping in the living room - but of course this is to be expected for such a central location in London!

Could do with some more wine glasses . Huge balloon glasses and only one regular glass. Bit picky but that would have been nice. TV remote was a nightmare. Instructions and new batteries needed.

• Fehrm (2/5): Smelly, lack of bed, unresponsive - Our experience was bad and we don’t recommend. The host was unresponsive and would not answer questions befor arrival ( on issues concerning our arrival 🙄). We were a party of five staying for two nights. After sending message after message about the lack of mattresses for the sofa bed one of us had to sleep on part mattress/part cushions for the whole weekend. The host asked questions and sent suggestions on “could the mattress be there, or there”, but never solved it and never came to help. The appartment smells of mold. We have now sent request for part refund since the appartment for 5 turned out to be actually for 4 - but surprise - again no response. Summary: Chose another appartment or hotel.

The host responded to questions very quickly and the instructions for finding the property and gaining entrance were second to none. We really enjoyed everything about this place. We had no cold tap water for drinking and the shower was a little low for the taller guests.

On the corner of a noisy main road. We were expecting complementary toiletries but none of the dispensers worked so we had to go out and buy shampoo and shower gel.

• Yong (7/5): We had a good 4-nights stay at the apartment as a family of 5. Location is safe & convenient. - Apartment was spacious, especially the lounge & dining areas were bright & airy. Location is great with proximity to shops, public transport & Camden. Easy keypad digital locks with PIN entry. Traveling as a family with children, we felt safe & secure. Bathroom/shower, kitchen equipment were all well functioning. Lift access is helpful for guests needing mobility assistance & for luggage. Internal walls had scuff marks from previous guests/wear & tear, which gives an initial impression that the apartment could be better maintained. Regardless we had a comfortable & joyful stay. Will definitely recommend & return. We had a rental car and it would have been a lovely bonus for guests if operators/property managers could apply for parking permit in the area.

Its something i have had available to me in all other properties i have stayed at.

• Clare (9/5): Fab versatile accommodation would recommend for up to six travellers of a family, clean and comfortable and a great loca - Great location very close to Camden. Clean and comfortable. Suitable for wheelchair users although it was on the first floor. For us the lift worked during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment the beds were comfortable. There is a little balcony which we all enjoyed. No welcome pack on arrival- tea/coffee would have been nice and a washing up cloth.The switch tripped on arrival when the toaster was used . we couldn’t see where to fix this and the electricity went off. as a result we went into Camden to eat (which was fabulous). when we tried to contact the owners the first no didn’t work however when we did get hold of the owner they got back to us fairly quickly and the problem was sorted. Bed five and six are put up in the lounge and we were missing a sixth set of bedding.

I was nervous about only getting passcodes just before, though I do understand why it meant I was worried it could be a scam.

• Katherine (3/5): Poor - Warning - don't book - deposits taken and not refunded. Be warned - looking like 'City Apartments' may be a scam. Phone number they provide doesn't work. Deposit of £250 has yet to be refunded over a week after departure, despite us leaving it in perfect condition. No response to messages through booking.com so will have to go through credit card complaints process to get money returned. For the apartment itself - Situated on a very noisy traffic intersection, with ambulances regularly going past. Double glazing is very poor, we could hear every word of people's conversations on the street outside. Sofa bed in lounge very uncomfortable and mattress stained. No balcony!

• Ari (8/5): Very good - The location is easy to reach with public transport. The flat lay out is comfortable for family of six. Kitchen and laundry worked well. WIFI speed. We experienced the toom heaters did not work during the winter stay. The staffs responded fairly considering the technical challenges. And because of that we got a discounted rate. I like to appreciate the professionalisme of the staff for the fair service resolution.

Perfect for our group and would definitely recommend others staying here It would be really good to have another mirror or 2. Based on 6 sharing there was only one mirror in the smaller bedroom that had a plug by it. Another one in main bedroom and/or hallway would be great. Also plug/cable for open needs looking at/replacing for safety.

• Familie (4/5): Bad service! - Relatively big space for London. - Location (didn’t feel safe to walk from the Underground station to this appartment in the evening). - They provided an extra (folded) bed for the 5th person, but the quality of the bed is really bad, it’s practically not useable. - We paid £250 deposit as requested, and up to now, we are still waiting for the owner(?) to return our deposit. We stayed here 2.5 weeks ago! I don’t think this is acceptable. Haven’t heard anything from them either, despite sending a message via Booking.com.
• Fredrik (8/5): Very good - Nice location, easy check in. Clean and spacious. Not so good for six people, the extra bed was not up to par( sofabed would be better) Somewhere to put your clothes when u come in, some kind of dresser would be nice.
• Roxanne (4/5): Good size but we were not impressed. Amenities can improved a lot. - It is big for the family. it has restos and supermarket nearby. it is safe with all codes, etc for the building and apartment. there’s six of us, including a baby. It says it will provide sofa bed but there is no sofa bed. there is an extra folding bed left on one bedroom but there is no bedding provided. the mattress is very thin and soft and dirty. There’s no toaster, kettle was not properly functioning ( water spilling over when heated), no toiletries in the smaller bathroom too. No washing soap or laundry soap provided (in other apartments weve been they have atleast provided these)… the floor outside our room is so noisy when you walk on it, doors need to be push hard to open and also very noisy - bot ideal if kids or anyone else is sleeping. Also during the last few days leading to our stay, it was very difficult to contact the property - no responses to my messages. I even tried texting the mobile number and yet no reply.

• Ogmund (7/5): Very nice place, perfect location in Camden, close to pretty much everything you need. - Perfect location, buses on the doorstep, shops, pubs and restaurants close by etc It could have been cleaner (a little sticky surfaces, especially in the kitchen area). The elevator broke down the 2nd day, which was a major setback as one of us is in a wheelchair. It didn't get fixed during our stay. However, we received a 15% discount because of this.
