• Ricardo (5/5): Good location - Location was good. The room is overall ok. Mini kitchen. The shower was always extremely hot. It was not easy to get a normal temperature. The main problem was the light getting inside the room. The "curtains" do not keep the room dark. By 4:30am and late evening it was almost impossible to sleep due to the light getting into the room. That is essential for us in terms "comfort". We also had to exchange too many messages with the administrator of the accommodation, but replies too longer than expected. We were in the UK for almost 4 weeks, stayed in 7 different places and with all any queries we had we got always very quick replies. We were in room 6, 3rd floor. We knew there was no lift, but please take into consideration the 49 steps to get to that floor. We are fit but 65 years old and 3 large/medium suitcases. The room also has a limited cutlery set.

Trebala bi biti uputa u kupaonici kako se namješta topla i hladna voda na tušu.Prvu večer boravka nismo znale namjestiti vodu koja je bila vrela i nismo se mogle otuširati.

• Kateryna (8/5): - The apartments were quite tiny, but everything I needed was in place. Overall, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kutchen had all the supplies. The location was really far from the city center, and I could hear everything from the ouside, the traffic, the people talking. Also, I had very noisy neighbors, sometimes it was hard to fall asleep.
• Monica (6/5): No Elevator - sufficiently stocked kitchenette with crockery for 2 people, utensils, and cookware for 2 people, included cutting board, tea kettle, microwave and a sandwich press, plastic wrap, and parchment paper, fire extinguisher, bathroom had sufficient toilet paper, hand soap, and body wash for the week, hair dryer in bathroom is non-operational, but extra hair dryer on coat rack with hangers and iron, plenty of linens to keep warm, single bed was firm and adequate, TV was very good, apartment close to restaurants within walking distance like Lao Dao, within walking distance to grocery stores, walking distance to bus stops and a longer walk to Elephant & Castle tube, Hauling luggage up three flights of narrow stairs to room 6 is disheartening after a long day of travel, there is no elevator, if you have an early arrival from the US, you have to store your luggage, Safestay Hostel across the street next to the Coop will store luggage with an online reservation, Stove/Hob - no instructions, I would have appreciated an instruction sheet as the U.S. does not have as many safety steps including the circuit breaker, lock button, and on button. Management took 2 full days to address the issue. The oven has no rack, but has an aluminum pan and cooling rack to make a makeshift baking rack, tea kettle shedding it's inner lining and collects in your tea cup (see photo), couch was too narrow, bathroom does not have enough racks to hold two adult towels, people begging for money outside,
• Anand (7/5): Good stay in a very central location. - Location is very decent and central. The apartment or more a bedroom, is adequate for 1 but I think if you had to cook and stuff, it could be an issue but I never cooked so it was ok. The communication can be more effective and efficient with the host. Others from other room was quite noisy at times but I guess, with the room so close to each other, you can even hear a pin drop.
• MAria (8/5): Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen und auch weiterempfehlen. - Die Lage war sehr gut. Die Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel wie Bus und U- Bahn war hervorragend. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Der Fön im Bad hat nicht funktioniert, allerdings lag ein Ersatzfön im Zimmer dieser konnte aber nicht im Badezimmer benutzt werden da dort nur noch eine Stecker für einen englischen Rasierer war. An der Hausnummer fehlte das A (189A- es stand nur 189) was beim Suchen etwas verwirrte.

• Alexandre (9/5): Très bien situé, propre et pratique. - Studio fonctionnel et relativement spacieux. Très propre et confortable. Super bien situé: station de métro, arrêt de bus (avec beaucoup de lignes), Supermarché/superette,... On reçoit les informations (localisation+ code) de l'hôte le jour même, juste avant l'heure du checking. La télévision ne captait pas de chaîne (ou alors, je n'ai pas compris comment l'utiliser). Les chambres sont en retrait par rapport à la rue, mais on entendait un peu le bruit : sirène de police et bus qui passent. Mais j'ai très bien dormi avec des bouchons d'oreille :-)

• Giorgia (10/5): Ottima zona - Siccome viaggiavo da sola mi è stato assegnato un monolocale con bagno privato. La camera è completa di tutte le necessità e all’arrivo si è presentata molto pulita. In più si trova in una buona zona. A pochi minuti dalla metro di Elephant and Castle o a svariate fermate del bus a letteralmente 1 minuto dall’appartamento. L’unica cosa che potrebbe essere un problema sono le scale ripide e la mancanza di un ascensore, per chi dovesse averne bisogno.

• Manish (6/5): Average - Check in , wifi and location being near bus stop was great....room was well appointed and had a microwave, refrigerator, gas stove, utensils, electric kettel , press etc No almirahs for storage, luggage keeping space. The single sofa seat was not well kept and there was no cleaning any day of the stay. The noise from outside can be heard inside the room and my heating failed for one day which meant even no hot water. Location if fine but not upmarket

Le quartier est sympa et calme. Le logement a tout ce qu’il faut! Et surtout il est très propre et agréable ! Le canapé est lui aussi confortable! Rien à dire Il manque juste un grand miroir à côté de la porte d’entrée.

• Robert (10/5): Great day in a good location. Would definitely use again. - It was very quiet. Shower had great pressure and hot water. I love the fact that they had fans in there. It was very close to a lot of food, places and the tube. Didn’t really have any complaints

The host is nice and quick to respond to our need. Actually, I wouldn't say I don't like. But it will be perfect if there is facility for hanging clothes for instant a movable / foldable drying rack will help a lot.

• Egor (8/5): quiet room ok for a couple if nights stay - location is nice, room is spacious, shops are nearby and also couple of fast-food sort of places (McDonald's does not count for food). tube is walking distance. zero hooks for clothing or cupboards for such, also none in shower. sofa bed is ok for a kid but for heavy person it's not good. warm days really made us miss air conditioning, fans do not suffice. forgot charger in the room when moved out which was not found later.

• Loic (10/5): Perfect for 3 people - Le côté extrêmement pratique et bien pensé de l'appartement. Et surtout il etait équipé de tout ce dont on avait besoin. Il était confortable, propre, bien desservi par des bus et à 8 minutes à pied du métro. En 3 stations on était à Westminster. Il est entouré de restaurants, cafés, breakfast, fast food... il est également très sécurisé avec un smart mock individuel pour passer la porte de l'immeuble et celle de l'appartement. Nous avions beaucoup de visites programmées dans la journée et nous rentrions épuisés le soir pour manger, dormir et se relaxer. Dans ces conditions on a besoin que tout soit simple, ne pas avoir à chercher longtemps et que l'endroit soit cosy. C'est définitivement le cas de cet appartement. La première vue extérieure de la façade est surprenante. Car elle se limite à une porte située entre un café et un autre commerce. Une fois habitués, on comprend que les appartements sont au dessus du café. De même à première vue, je l'ai trouvé petit. Mais pour nous 3 (1 adulte et 2 ados de 13 et 17 ans) il etait parfait. On ne s'est jamais marché dessus ni géné. On se sentait très bien dans ce cocon.

• Leonela (5/5): Decent stay but could be better equipped with night table and lamp, larger bed and soundproofing - room is fairly nice and well equipped there's a 5 (nearly wiped away) written on the door on the third floor so it's confusing and you think room 6 is still one floor up. the room could use a double bed and at least (!) provide a night table with a lamp on it. bad soundproofing.

There are many shops nearby, so it's easy to buy. The room is fully equipped and clean. Blinds do not block out light. The soundproofing is average, but the guests are quiet, so it's fine.

• Andrea (10/5): Great flat and perfect central London location, near everything - Perfect place if you want to live like a Londoner for a week or more. Complete kitchen with all the essentials, comfy bed, good-pressure shower, nice heat(I went in winter time). Two bus stops right outside the building. One tube station is a 5-minute walk and another one 10 minutes away. Daily housekeeping. Quick, easy communication with owner and always willing to give a helping hand.
• Nataushia (10/5): Great Apartment for Your London Stay - I really liked the location of the property and how easy it was to access two different tube stations within less of a 10 min walk. They'll send you a code that will be how you open the front door as well as your room. I really liked not having a key, that way it was easier than constantly having to remember if you brought it and or rummaging around for it after exploring the city. The room had a nice bed, a little chair to relax, a dining table to eat, an iron and ironing board, hangers, tv, little fridge, stovetop and kettle and microwave. The bathroom is nice and spacious. There is a laundromat within walking distance which is great for people who want or need to do laundry during their stay. Tesco and McDonald’s are either across the street or a short walk away along with Pret and or other restaurants. I didn’t know when booking the apartment that there would be a microwave as well as a stovetop, just a kettle. I was very pleasantly surprised that there was those as well as kitchenware, pots and pans, cups, etc for two. I didn’t mind that there was no oven, I just grabbed some things that were ready to eat from restaurants or stores. I’m already planning to book again for next year when I visit London again. The staircase leading up to the rooms is VERY narrow and I had difficulty bringing up and down my suitcase. The door to the apartments can be a little hard to find, so perhaps telling people landmarks such as across the street from the McDonald’s would be helpful for future bookers.
• Matthew (8/5): Very good - This is a bit of a bargain if you are a solo traveler. The location is great - you can walk into the city in 30 minutes or get the train there in 5/10. The location is on a busy road but Elephant and Castle is an increasingly up and coming area so there are a wide range of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. There are supermarkets and convenience stores, too. The shower is warm and powerful and the key lock system is very secure and convenient. Highly recommended! Nothing!
• Darren (8/5): The room was spotless,the bed very comfortable and the perfect location for my stay in London. - The location in relation to the Highline Building,my son is currently a student living there while studying in London.It's only a 5 minute walk from the room to the student accomadation. There seems to be little in the way of sound insulation,ear plugs are a must.The main door onto the street could do with some sign writing to let you know you have found the entrance.The entrance is between 2 shops so it wasn't easy to find.

Several eating options outside of the hotel. it was warm and stuffy at night, window view was not pleasant looking. It would be if they put a full size mirror in the room. Three females in a room and only one small mirror which was in the bathroom. We had to go out into the hallway to use the full length mirror each day which is a big inconvenience that could be easily corrected. We were told we were on the first floor but did not know we would still have to go up a narrow and steep staircase with our heavy suitcases.This should be disclosed when booking.

• Pedro (6/5): Pleasant - Easy accessible by public transport (bus stop is very close) and also many options for breakfast nearby. Room/apartment was pretty big for London standards and was overall clean and with basic amenities. They also left an adapter for the plug, which was very useful. You can hear every noise from the outside, including from a nearby Karaoke spot with loud music. Window blinds didn’t properly close, once there’s daylight you will see it. Also it is not possible to leave luggage in your check out day, which is very inconvenient if you are traveling later in the day and considering that the check out time is at 11am.

• Jeff (9/5): Great little apartment - The apartment is very well priced. Located 25 minutes from Tate Modern and Southwark on foot. The apartment was very clean, well fitted out with good cooking facilities and storage. Very impressed compared to others I have used in London. Would recommend them and use them again I don't have any issues
• Stephen (6/5): Long Weekend in Southwark. - Place was clean and close enough to central London to be handy for most of the attractions. Didn't see any staff the whole time we were there. 49 steps up a steep staircase to reach the apartment. No good for anyone not in good physical condition. No other escape route were there a fire to occur. I thought there would be air conditioning in the apartment but there wasn't. Two fans were provided so they helped keep the room temperature bearable during the night. No toaster. Oven wire rack didn't fit the oven! Therefore we could even use the grill to make toast. Fold down sofa bed wasn't comfortable to sleep on. Way too lumpy.
• Massimiliano (7/5): A practical mini-apartment in a good district - We stayed 2 nights in the mini flat which is opposite the bus stop and the metro is a 10 minute walk away. The flat is small, the bed is a single with a basic sofa bed. The bathroom is comfortable, the view is on the main street (quite busy) and there are both microwave oven and iron. We slept well. The sofa bed is basically replaced by three folded cushions to be placed (without legs) on the floor. In the end it proved comfortable enough, but not really practical

• Ronh (10/5): Wonderful stay at the Boutique Apartments again - The property host sent me information about the key code and wifi password in advance of my arrival. They were very quick to reply to my messages, which made me very comfortable knowing that they were available if I had any concerns. The bottom line is that the hosts were great. And the room was wonderful - clean, comfortable and fully equipped. This was my second stay (albeit within a week) at the Boutique Apartments and I would definitely stay here again. As I mentioned in a previous review, the bathroom is a little small. However, for me, it was fine.

• Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome location with easy access to the heart of London. Loved the kitchenette feature to be able to have breakfast and tea. Convenient access to 2 tube stations and easy to catch a ride to the airport. There also are plenty of busses, and it's about a 30 minute walk to the south bank. We got lucky with weather that open windows sufficed, but a fan of some sort would be useful for air circulation in the summer months. A full length mirror (perhaps mounted to the door to the bathroom) also would be a helpful feature for those wanting to check full appearances before leaving for the day.
• Ronh (10/5): Loved my stay. I would definitely stay at the Boutique Apartments again. - The Boutique Apartments were great. The room was clean and bright (nice windows). The beds were comfortable. The kitchenette was clean with all required amenities (dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots). Lots of nice streaming channels on the TV and excellent free WiFi. Plenty of bus routes available in the immediate area to easily get to anywhere in London, plus the Elephant & Castle Tube station was only a few blocks away. Sainsbury's and M&S are only a few blocks away. The bathroom was a little small. If you like a bathtub or a big shower, you may not be happy here. The entrance to the apartment looks a bit shady, being a simple door between a cafe and a dollar store. But it's code locked, so it is totally safe.

• Libuše (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Nice and clean appartement. Quick communication with the owner.
• Vicky (10/5): Exceptional - Great location to commute to the hospital. Everything I needed. Just could do with a fan as it was quite warm and having the window open wasn't enough for me.
