- Ngan (10/5): - Great location! Host was taking very good care of our stay! Thank you very much!
- Cooper (10/5): - This was an very modern, clean hotel room in the heart of Athens! As soon as you walk out side you are just minutes from the square looking up at the Acropolis. It was a great location, and the room was very clean. We had a great porch view with a washer machine which helped us with laundry. It had a full kitchen if you wanted to cook. Over all one of my favorite stays here in Greece on our trip. The shower handle/nozzle was a little difficult especially if you are a girl and have to wash your hair. You had to turn off the shower every time you werent rinsing since the nozzle was located so short. Refer to pictures of the bathroom to see what I mean.

- Viktorija (9/5): - Location is ideal. Metro, grocery store, shops and restaurants are all in 5 minutes walking distance. Great terrace to enjoy rooftop views. The apartment is cozy and has everything for a confortable stay, kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and spices. The bed is comfortable. Apartment was clean. The bathroom is a little bit small, however perfectly ok for a couple night stay. Communication with the owner is good, we had a minor problem which was fixed right away.

- Gillian (8/5): Great situation and large terrace - A great situation - right in the centre of Monastiraki, the main shopping area with access to be what seemed like hundreds of restaurants, bars and eateries. Views of the Parthenon from round the corner. Compact renovated studio with a large terrace and washing machine. Did not realise that the studio was so compact and that the shower room was also pretty compact. Access to the studio and instructions for heating the water and using the compliances was via an app x which worked well - so if this is not your thing, this may not be the place for you.

- Sean_Dean (8/5): Amazing location and clean apartments. - Good communication and clear instructions.
Smooth check-in/out process.
Amazing location (close to everything).
Balcony.
Clean. Apartments and bathroom are tiny.

- Nick Gala (9/5): In the heart of Monastiraki and Athens - Great apartment for solo travellers or couples in the best location. 2 min walk to Monastiraki metro station.
Apartment was clean and easy to find and access. Had a washing machine and nice size balcony. Located on the 5th floor access via lift. The access to the building didn't have a lock so effectively anyone off the street could have made their way up to the apartments. In a city like Athens in such a busy location they should have a lock on the building entry door.
- Vera (1/5): No Sleep Due to Alarm – Poor Response, Profit-First Mentality - My stay at this property in Athens was significantly disrupted. On the last night, a loud security alarm on the first floor went off around midnight and continued for over 12 hours without stopping. I contacted the host immediately—they said a manager was on the way, but after following up two hours later, I received no further response that night. As a result, I was unable to sleep at all.
The next day, I asked not to be charged for the night, but the host refused and only offered a 20% discount, which I declined. This was not a minor inconvenience—it made the room uninhabitable for rest, which is the basic purpose of a appartment.
During my correspondence with the host, I also learned that guests are charged for checking in just one hour early or checking out one hour late. Combined with the constant promotional emails trying to upsell other services, it gave the impression that the focus was more on profit than on guest satisfaction.
I recorded the alarm and posted a short video for reference:

Aside from the apartment's central location, there was little else that was convenient or enjoyable about my stay. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property.

- Mary (Maria) Houdalakis (5/5): Great location. Too small for 2 people. Bathroom was tiny. Like a cupboard - Photos made the room look bigger. Way too small
- Elle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tomáš (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (10/5): In the middle of everything you need to see in the city of Athens - The room is beautiful and has everything you need, everything is great The front entrance is a little sketchy
- Adea (10/5): Perfect central location near Acropolis - The location is perfect. It's 10-15 min from Acropolis and 2/3 min from Monastiraki. Lots of good restaurants in the area and a supermarket right around the corner.
Everything is as described in the listing so you won't have surprises once there.
The host checks in on you everyday so they're very responsive in case you need anything.
Check in was smooth and you have an elevator for easy access. Would be better if you could leave the boiler on so you can find hot water once you come back .
- Davina (8/5): Very good -
- Lefteris (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent. Very good communication with the host. The place was clean and well equipped. It also provides coffee, tea, and cooking ingredients. The ac unit is relatively small for the place and not warming the place adequately.
- Aleyna (6/5): Okay - The location was great and the staff were very helpful, responded very quickly. Hot water was an issue, you have to turn it on 30 mins in advance. The drain pipe overflow during our stay. Air conditioner wasnt working efficiently, radiators wasnt working too.
- Athena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mustafa (9/5): Clean and very good location - Very clean, helpful and friendly owner and super location. Strongly adviced
- Miguel (1/5): Impossible to sleep, untrustworthy owner - Nothing, this is a place you should avoid at all costs Our stay was beyond disappointing—it was a nightmare. We booked this studio expecting comfort and tranquility, especially as it was during our honeymoon, but what we got instead was an unforgettable disaster.
The noise from a nearby club was deafening, making it absolutely impossible to sleep. It felt like we were in the middle of a rave, not an apartment. To make matters worse, the bed was atrociously uncomfortable—like lying on a pile of rocks. We didn’t manage to sleep a single hour that night.
We had planned to stay for two nights, but after enduring just one miserable night, we had no choice but to leave. It’s appalling that such basic necessities—a quiet room and a decent bed—were so utterly lacking.
To top it all off, the owner promised to refund the second night but never followed through. This lack of integrity adds insult to injury, showing complete disregard for customer experience and basic decency.
This stay was a profound letdown, especially as it marred what should have been a joyous honeymoon. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere.
- Sergio (8/5): Relaxing, clean, home away from home in the best location of Athens - The concept of having a self-serviced apartment for a few days, where you can come and go as you please; not worrying about whether the cleaners are fixing the room made my stay extremely relaxing. The apartment was clean and had more than what I needed. The balcony is large, and the location is perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable too. The host’s responsiveness to my enquiries were extremely prompt and helpful. Look forward to staying again. Although the hot water is great, you need to set a timer 30-45mins in advance to get the boiler going. Not a big issue, but requires some forethought. Can’t just hop in at the drop of a hat.
- Ranjane (6/5): Pleasant - Walking distance to most spots The entrance gate very difficult to open, needed assistance many times
- Kazimierz (8/5): Very good - This apartment was in the heart of Athens. Close to everything. Walking distance to all the lovely restaurants and sights
Loved having a washing machine 😍 Trying to open the key box to get the key was quite stressful.
And the thing we hated the most was having to get rid of the rubbish plus the toilet paper etc. Having to walk around looking for a rubbish bin. I would have thought the cleaner would do that after we left.
- Susan (9/5): We loved the location and sitting on the balcony. - Great location and we loved sitting on the balcony. The apartment had everything we wanted.
- Brian (8/5): Nice studio with a great balcony in the heart of the City - I loved the balcony, which overlooked the city. I was able to relax and look at the city. Please it had a great breeze.
- Irene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chartampas (8/5): Very good -
- Natasa (7/5): Good -
- Katerina_yn (7/5): Decent room for a short stay in the heart of Athens - Perfect location. The main shopping street, restaurants and bars, the Monastiraki metro station and a taxi stand can all be found in 3 minutes walk. The elevator was large. The room was small but functional and the bed was comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. The A/C was not functioning properly on the first day and he sent someone to repair it and an extra electric heater within 30 minutes of our notice. He also arranged an airport transfer for us. The bathroom was quite small, not ventilated enough and without any space to hang our towels. The room was generally clean but we found some trush left in the kitchen bin uppon our arrival which was unpleasant. The balcony could be neater and more welcoming. The A/C is the only way for heating and it was not functioning on the first night. It was fixed the next morning imediately after we told it to the host but still our first night wasn't the best. The Wifi was pretty weak and we had to use our data several times.
- Michalis (9/5): Superb -
- Mackenzie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ioannamone (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dee (8/5): Very good -
- Luke (8/5): Super Location Comfy Room - Fantastic location right close to Monastiraki Square. The large balcony definitely the best thing about the place. Great to finish the day with a wine out there. Room was immaculate. Bed very comfy and kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of room for clothes and everything else. Good instructions about how to get access to the room. Host always available. The shower is waist level- which has it's uses, but would be great to have an additional fixture for the option to have shower head above head height. It's a bit awkward to shower whilst holding the shower head itself! This isn't a huge issue though. Struggled to find outside bins- could do with a few extra pointers as part of a welcome pack
- Jazmina (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, very clean and tidy. Everything we needed, plus a few very convenient things we would have used if we had stayed longer, such as the laundry and kitchen.
- Jennie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sofiya (8/5): Very good - Problems connecting to the internet. No warm water!!
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Brionna (9/5): Overall great place to stay, great location, everything in the apartment is new and flows well together. I would stay he - Great location, very well put together place, everything is new. The views from the balcony are amazing! There’s no handles on any of the cabinets, adding handles would make it better. Didn’t figure out until day of check out that you press on the cabinets for them to open.
More hooks in the bathroom for towels— either on the back of the door or on the wall next to the toilet would help. Wasn’t really a place for them, only the one hook for hand towel by the sink. Also, move the shower head up higher, it’s at waist level and difficult to maneuver when trying to wash out your hair one handed. I know this is how a lot of places are in Europe.
Didn’t like having to go back to the instructions of the check in process to learn about the hot water, you have to push a button on the breaker box to turn the hot water on— instructions tell you about all of the appliances.
When you first initially check in you don’t realize you have to read all of this. You think you add your info and watch a short video and done. I think an email or text after the check in time telling about each appliance would be better for the customer versus having to go back to the portal.
These are more suggestions than they are complaints.
- Amrutha (9/5): Superb -
- Monica (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alsadhan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (8/5): Very good -
- Amira (9/5): Superb -
- Nicolae (9/5): Superb -
- Elva (8/5): Very good -
- Katherine (9/5): great location well appointed interior - location wall bed low to the floor
- Douglas (9/5): Convenience in Athens - The location was excellent. Safe, close to the Metro, within walking distance to the Acropolis etc. The studio unit was compact, well-appointed and clean. All instructions for keys and use of the appartment were very clear and easy to apply. We had problems with the WiFi at the end of the stay.
- Thewolfkissed (5/5): Nice location, but you can find better for the price. - Location is good, room is modern and host goes far and beyond to make sure everything will run according to plan and that the check-in process will run smoothly. So good communication.
Room terrace door has shutters as well which are great for no light coming in in the morning. Studio is well illuminated, clean and organised.
Room is well equipped with functioning air con and smart TV with WiFi. We arrived very late due to a ferry coming from Paros. So we ended up getting to the place after midnight. We were very tired and all we wanted was a hot shower and bed. But unfortunately we had to wait because to have hot water you need to flick a switch and wait 30 minutes. So we were dirty and half asleep counting the minutes to have a shower before bed. So that wasn't so great.
The entrance of the building is a little scary, specially at night. Is completely dark full of graffiti everywhere, so it feels a little dodgy. The building itself is very rundown, old and dirty. Same for the elevator, dirty and graffiti on the walls. It kinda gives the feeling that you could find a needle around the floor somewhere. Maybe this could be improved somehow as it does not give first good impressions.
The shower, once hot, was spitting water everywhere. Since is a tiny little cubicle to shower in... You can imagine how annoying it gets to control where the water goes. It would be nice to get a decent shower after having to wait for 30 minutes.
The bed was quite small and maybe another set of pillows would help because it has a big gap at the back so the cushions provided fall behind. We used the sofa cushions to fill the hole so we could kinda have two pillows.
Also, the fridge is quite noisy at times during the night and it was distracting.
And finally, someone woke us up at 7am with drilling and hammering on one of the close apartments. Not host's fault but it didn't add to the experience we were already having.
- Lucie (9/5): Superb - This studio flat was small but perfectly set up, well furnished. It has a gorgeous, spacious balcony too. The location is so good, so central for food and easy to get to from the metro. The host was very communicative, sending me a link to the portal before I arrived. It was very easy to check in with a key in a lock box
- Daskalakis (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, excellent service and responses from the owner I cannot get accustomed to water spilling out of the shower, but it is a very common thing on the rooms I have been visiting, it seems
- Waseem.haddad (5/5): Passable -
- Koutsofava (9/5): Superb -
- Ondrej (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional location, near to subway, lots of restaurants in vincinity, all the ancient places are near to the apartmenet, when you want to explore Athens, you will hardly find better place. Host was very communicative, reacted to everything we asked for and gave us a lot of additional tips and informations.
- Myron (9/5): Cosy apartment in a great area. Would stay there again. - The location was perfect. Easy walking to most of the sights. Fairly quiet for being in the heart of it all. It was small, but well equipped and comfortable. Air conditioning was a big plus.
Nasos arranged transfers to and from airport, which was very convenient.
- Stuart (7/5): Goff location for a night or two - central location close to monistaraki unreliable when wifi, very small shower with curtain. wall bed with aircon directly above
- Antonino (5/5): Passable - the flat is in the centre of the city! the picture is much better than reality and there is not hot water.
ps. the host is a ghost.
