• Francis (9/5): Great place to stay. Close to everything and in a quiet neighborhood. - The property is ideally located in Athens to where you can be close to about everything. The neighborhood was quiet and had several local places you can walk to to eat and enjoy. The apartment above was noisy. The roof top is in disrepair and not very inviting.
• Lita (8/5): Wir hatten sehr tolle Tage in Athen und mit dieser Wohnung einen wunderbaren Erholungsort! - Die Lage war sehr gut in einem angenehmen Viertel mit sehe netten Nachbarn. Die Wohnung war sehr gross und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos u d war sehr hilfreich. Es gab kein Spülmittel/Küchenschwamm und die Kochutensilien waren teilweise nicht ganz sauber. Die Dachterrasse war leider noch nicht in Betrieb, bzw nicht gereinigt.

Hvordan kan de holde ud, at lokums-parpiret skal i en spand ved siden ad toilettet, når De har udrettet deres nødtørft. De er skørre de grækere!
• Stéphanie (9/5): Très bon séjour proche acropole à Athènes - Proche de l’acropole et au calme Bruyant en intérieur si les voisins ne sont pas respectueux. Les commerces sont un peu loin.
• Cristina (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay at Elegant Apartment in Acropolis with Roof Garden! The apartment is very spacious and perfect for families. The location is excellent — within a short distance of the Acropolis, next to a park and children’s playground, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Petralona metro station is also very close, making it easy to explore the city. Parking was not a problem at all. Nikos was a fantastic host — very attentive, kind, and always available whenever we needed anything. If you want to experience authentic Athenian lifestyle, this is the perfect place. Just be mindful of quiet hours, as the building is home to local residents. The rooftop garden is a true highlight — a little piece of heaven with breathtaking views over the city.
• Jennifer (9/5): The spacious Elegant Apartment with Rooftop Garden was a comfortable base to explore from--thanks! - The location was exceptional! We loved walking through the park across the street, past views of the Acropolis, to and from most sites. We also enjoyed exploring such sites in the park as the prison where Socrates was held, and ruins of the neighborhood where Epicurus and others lived. The place was also a short walk to a small neighborhood commercial district where we picked up dinner a couple of nights. Convenient! Breakfast ingredients were waiting for us in the fridge--eggs, lunch meat, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee, .... Not enough for our whole stay, so as not to waste. We were instructed to text whenever we'd like more of something delivered the next day. That and managing the solar hot water heater (turn on supplemental heating for 30 min. on clowdy days before showering) was an unusual practice we're not accustomed to. But fine nonetheless. Verrrry minor: for Americans, "1st Floor" is a short flight up from street level.
• Laurent (6/5): Pleasant Stay with Great Host and Location, but Rooftop and Noise Issues - We spent 5 days at the end of October in this apartment. Positive aspects: We appreciated the exchanges with Nikos, the host, who was very responsive when discussing before finalizing the booking. The apartment’s location is great (near a park and a bit away from the ultra-center), and it is well-equipped. Check-in and check-out are very easy, and Nikos is very helpful during the stay. However, we were disappointed to discover that the rooftop was not private to the apartment (but shared with the other apartments in the building), even though the rooftop garden was the main reason we chose this rental. We also suffered from noise, both from the street (unlucky timing: roadworks were happening at the same time) and especially from the neighbors above (who were particularly noisy), which reduced our ability to rest. Additionally, breakfast was quite basic compared to what previous reviews suggested. The pictures on Booking are outdated, and the rooftop garden was dirty, with ashtrays everywhere.

(Purtroppo)Le serrande di entrambe le camere da letto erano rotte quindi la mattina ci siamo svegliati per via della luce e la sera, essendoci solo le tende non potevamo cambiarci in camera.

• Elena (8/5): Very good - We had short trip to Athens with my daughter, we were pleased by spacious apartment, We liked perfect instructions from the host for check-in and stay. We found necessary base foodstuff in the fridge we used for breakfast. No problems with parking the car near the house. Everything was sufficient for our stay.

• Anđelka (9/5): Superb - The apartment was spacious and very nice. The location is very good and peaceful. Surrounded by many real Greek restaurants frequented by local residents - highly recommended. For city center you need to walk or to take a cab. Breakfast was really simple, nothing special. A few things in the fridge from Lidl and a few not so fresh apples. We expected some original Greek products and some more fresh fruits, especially since it was June and there was a lot of different fruits available . I definitely suggest the owner to put a little more effort into the breakfast when it is offered in the apartment and calculated in the price.

And it was very suitable for us as a family - The stay was pleasant and we enjoyed the proximity to the quiet park of the Acropolis and to the Children's playground next to the place, very suitable when you come as a family. The information that Nikos provided for us was very helpful and helped us a lot to find our way around the area and the attractions in the area. The breakfast was excellent for us. Near to all kinds of shops that we needed. Restaurants, supermarkets etc
• Gailing (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious apartment with a great shared roof terrace. The host has lots of useful tips and replies really quickly to any queries. The location is great and it's a lovely half hour walk to the Akropolis and old town. The neighbourhood is chilled out and offers plenty of restaurants and shops. There is a metro and bus stop nearby. A great place to stay.

• Stephanie (9/5): An attractive apartment in a good location if you like a bit of walking, or if you have a car that needs parking. - Very spacious, beautiful big windows with green outlooks, balconies on two sides. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was quite well equipped. The location is quiet: the tourist action is all on the other side of Filopappou hill, but we didn’t mind a good 15 minute walk before getting started. The playground opposite would be nice is you had kids with you. The roof terrace was nice, but a little run down. If you are looking for the washing machine, it is up there.

• Veerle (6/5): Pleasant - The location We lacked one pair of sheets the first night and the owner did not look for a solution. Only the day after we received extra sheets. The beach umbrella on the roof terrace was broken. There were lots of ants in the kitchen.

The location of the apartment makes it quite cool even in summer. The host had placed many food items in the fridge for breakfast, which was highly appreciated. Good communication with the host. The apartment was not very clean (dust) and it smelled a bit (maybe it was closed for some time).

• Kenneth (8/5): Nice apartment for a reasonable price in a great neighborhood. - The apartment’s location can’t be beat— you are across the street from this incredible nature area (Hill of Nymphs) that has super views of the Acropolis and Athens and connects to the Acropolis and main tourist attractions of Athens. It was maybe a 15 min walk to the Acropolis ticket area. The neighborhood itself around the apartment is very hip and has some amazing “local” restaurants that are a fraction of the cost of the one’s in the touristy spots and 10x more delicious. The apartment itself is large and features an impressive rooftop lounge area. one slightly annoying thing was the park next to the apartment had a bunch of people partying til the wee hours of the morning. We had earplugs so it didn’t bother us too much.

We were delayed, but we received good instructions from our host. They had basic food items in the fridge, what was really helpful. Our host was very accommodating, gave excellent recommendations about nearby restaurants and stores. The air conditioner worked very well. The shower always had hot water. nothing

• Maria (10/5): Very enjoyable nice apartment, spacious, very clean. very good location, but metro was too far. - Breakfast was provided in form of the supplies left in the fridge. The owner was very flexible and took good care of us. We greatly appreciate this! More fruit for breakfast, the owner supplied food in timely manner, sometimes he forgot to bring things we asked for (like bread), but we managed.
