• Caroline (1/5): Building Work All Around Property Clearly for Months - The apartment is cute and the bed comfortable. We were contacted by the owner 2 days before our arrival to let us know we might have building work noise. He didn't mention that the builders were on the roof outside our apartment, the work obscuring our view and looking directly into our bedroom. Also that they were starting work at 7.20am. Also the dust from the builders was blowing onto our terrace. We left the next day.
• Nayara (10/5): - A vista da Acropole é incrível. A cama é confortável, não é uma cama mole. Tem uma pequena copinha, onde há um fogão de duas bocas, um frigobar e alguns utensílios de cozinha. O ar condicionado funcionou perfeitamente e o chuveiro é normal, demora pra aquecer, mas depois que aquece não há o que reclamar. A localização também foi ótima, fizemos tudo a pé, mesmo a estação sendo próxima. O ckeck in é feito sozinho, não há recepção, mas não foi um problema porque todas as vezes que precisamos fomos atendidos prontamente pela anfitriã por trocas de mensagens pelo booking. Não há nada que eu não tenha gostado, mas uma dica que acho válida, como fui no verão tinham alguns pernilongos quando fomos dormir, o que foi resolvido ligando o ar condicionado.
• Emily (10/5): Perfect for first-timers with the perfect view. - The location is central - exit the front door and you’re in the city centre where all the shops and entertainment is located. The view from the room is phenomenal. Waking up to a gorgeous view of the Acropolis was amazing. The security of the room was also excellent. We felt in control of how secure we wanted to leave our room. The host was so kind as to greeting us to the building and orientated us to the room. He was very helpful and made us feel right at home. A very steep staircase to get up to the room, however host helped us with our luggage.

• Joan (10/5): Exceptional - When I first saw the Alexandros's apartment in the internet I thought it was amazing, but I was wrong it's marvellous. Good location, all kind of facilities are around the corner and handy public transport play second fiddle to the Acropolis view and terrace. Unbelievable !! Highly recommendable. Not to have more time to spend in Athens.

• Giulia (9/5): Amazing view of the Acropolis! - The strong points are the big terrace and the amazing view of the Acropolis, especially at night! Overall the loft is small but the space is very well organized exploiting in a smart, functional and charming way every available spot. The bed is very comfortable. The host Alex gives very clear indications, he's always available and extremely helpful! The external stairs to reach the loft from the fifth floor are stable but small and a bit scaring if you are not used to them, especially when you carry your luggage. It's a pity that some water for the shower is lost leaking on the wall of the shower box.
• Mark (8/5): Highly recommended for the views alone. - Our host provided good communication regarding checking in and out and by chance met us at the door when we got the keys from the lockbox. He escorted us to the room & gave some information. The view of the Acropolis is stunning, we didn't need to go to any roof top bars, drinks on our own veranda were excellent. There are two small supermarkets just a few minutes walk away & of course all of the major sites are within walking distance. The room was an adequate size and had much needed aircon as the sun can make it into a greenhouse otherwise. The bed was very comfortable. The main negative would be that to leave you have to enter the 5th floor of the building only after descending the metal stairs and have to use a key to open the door to the main building. This is concerning in the event of a fire as there appears to be no other exit. The apartment is ready for a freshen up with paint and the flooring around the kitchenette area is not ideal as crumbs etc. can drop down the gaps in the flooring. The kitchenette is very small but we managed. The final metal staircase is precarious but we knew that, so long as you're fit and good on your feet there's no issue, having the apartment at the top of the building is after all what provides the excellent view.

• Aaron (8/5): Nice room with great view but unsafe access - Excellent location with great view of the acropolis. Actually the room is an extra dwelling on the roof with a small rooftop garden. Room comes with a small kitchenette which you can prepare simple meals. As the room is an extra dwelling on the roof, it is only accessible by a fragile emergency steps on the outside of the property with only an open hand bar. We did note that from previous reviews but we did not anticipate that it was that unsafe, especially when it rained. The owner did offer to carry our luggage up but it was up to ourselves to get all our luggage down on a rainy day. The room is a bit small with the price, the bathroom is a bit crampy too. The floor of the room is just metallic deck planks. However we did enjoy our stay but we do think much upgrading works should be done with the price tags.
• Francisco (10/5): Exceptional - Location is excellent for visiting the acropolis and the sites around it. Great view of the acropolis from the loft. Unbeatable. Definetively recommend for the view and location. Last set of stairs to the loft are a bit narrow and if you have big luggage is a bit of a hassle. Worth it, just plan accordingly to haul luggage up those stairs. Also recommend some additional blankets in the room.

• Aneliese (9/5): Exceptional views - The Eye Loft is situated in the middle of Athens so it was a great location to base ourselves as most of the tourist attractions were in walking distance. The view of the Acropolis from the apartment was amazing the photos don't do it justice. Alexandros was a very friendly and welcoming host. A couple of things to note... the steps up to the Eye Loft are very steep and aren't ideal for those with mobility issues or those who may be scared of heights (see photo). The second is that because of the location in the heart of Athens you can hear the music from the bars and restaurants. We did manage to sleep and it wouldn't put us off returning as the views and location were exceptional.
• Elias (9/5): Superb - The view is spectacular. The terrace was the highlight of our stay - a lovely place to sit with a drink at night admiring the Acropolis. The property is located in the heart of the city accessible to all attractions. We will return in a heartbeat! There were few minor issues with the facilities such as the unhinged kitchen cupboard door, kettle lid not closing properly, loose toilet seat, and shower handset not working. Although few facilities needed repair, they didn't detract from our overall great experience and enjoyment of the property.
• Róbert (10/5): It was fantastic, I really recommend. - A cosy flat in the heart of Athens with beautiful panorama to the Parthenon. Every must see places within walking distance, we used metro only to and from the sea and the airport. Alexandros is a helpful host, thank you for that.

• Neri (9/5): Value for money - Best Location, very good value for money, a prfect balcony with prfect view. Nice host. A great bar just under the entrance. Peace and quiet in the apartment. Close supermarkets. Will be back for sure. Only the shower that was small but did not disturbed me at all and have hot water all the time.

• James (10/5): Perfect escape with beautiful views - Property was perched atop a 5 story building with views in every direction and overlooking the Acropolis. Outdoor space was beautiful, and the host was very responsive and helpful! Can't think of anything!
• Flóra (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment with an amazing view to the Acropolis. The location is perfect, only 2 minutes walk from Monastiraki square, really easy to find it. Alexandros is a great host, always ready to help you. I definitely recommend this place!
• Julija (9/5): Superb - Perfect spot, near city centre. Really private, romantic loft with a worderful view. Hot water in the shower was really unstable, one minute hot another one cold.
