• Georgios (10/5): The best place for your holiday - The best place for your holiday! Spacious, comfortable, super clean and with all the amenities. The location is unbeatable! Really a true gem. The neighborhood is superb. We walked to the Parthenon, the museum, to Monastiraki, to Plaka. Plenty of nice restaurants, coffees and super markets. The hosts are very nice and kind and respond fast and even offered transportation and good advice about places. Highly recommend!!!! -

Situtation géographique excellente trés bien! - La seule chose que nous avons pris est le petit déjeuner, acheté a une petit petit épicerie juste à coté Nous avons pris tous nos repas aux restaurants Juste de l'eau chaude le 1er jour.J'ai écris au propriétaire pour lui signaler, il me demandait de lui prendre une photo du compteur, et comme nous partions le matin et rentrions que le soir, je ne pouvais pas lui répondre car je ne pouvais le faire que de l'appartement avec le Wi FI.,,,et le soir nous étions épuisés!! Les 4 jours nous nous sommes douchés à l'au froide Il manque dans cet appartement un Micro Ondes; Propreté moyenne. Par contre de é- mails adressé d'office plusieurs dois nous demandant l'heure de départ alors que nous l'avons signalé plusieurs fois!

• Davey (9/5): Location, Location, Location! Wished we'd had more time! - The location of the apartment is incredible. We didn't require any form of transport during our stay as we were able to walk everywhere. Accessing the property was simple and our host was friendly and a great communicator. We didn't use the kitchen facilities, but it has everything you need. No air con in the bedrooms and the handheld shower was awkward.

• Shea (8/5): Spacious and great value for the location - Fabulous location, really spacious and comfortable bedrooms with everything we could need for our short break, including the oft overlooked things like lamps on both sides of the bed and cost hooks! The arrival instructions (how to find the apartment itself, operating the water etc) could have more detail but the owner is readily available to answer any questions. We enjoyed using the kitchen/ dining but the oven wasn't clean and old Athenian plumbing is (understandably) leaky but we loved the space. The ease of accessing all the sights from this apartment and the large rooms make it a great spot for families.

Our rooms were a great size and the bathroom was great with excellent hot water with great water pressure. There was a kitchen tap that dripped constantly but not a big deal. Thank you for a lovely stay.
• Toni (9/5): Lovely authentic apartment. Fabulous location. - Location was perfect. On a quiet side street, but very close to the shops and restaurants. Easy to get to the Metro. The only thing we didn't like was the sofabed. It felt like it was going to collapse, so we didn't sit on it.
• Angela (3/5): Extremely dated and poor apartment- however in a good location - Location is very central for exploration in Athens I don’t usually leave bad reviews for properties and have stayed in many diff accomodations however the property is very dated, and needs overall refresh in the look. Photos must have been taken from a while back atleast 5 or more years. The walls, wallpaper and doors have scuffs or sometimes even holes through (bottom of bathroom door) the beds are quite springy and old, couch is extremely old and poor and natural light is very poor through the apartment and light hue is very harsh in one of the bedrooms. The apartment was also quite dusty on floor and overall. There is only one aircon in the common room and not in bedrooms although there are fans. Only one wine glass in cabinet although it should fit 4 people. Host is responsive although offers later check out + holding luggage for a few hours for a price. No washing detergent - although supermarket is only 1 min walk away

• Margarita (9/5): We were happy to stay there! - Very convenient location. You can get there from the airport on the bus X95. The host is very nice person, always ready to help. Our communication was excellent. The apartment is on the first floor. There are windows but they are all closed and if you open them there will be no view at all. But apartment itself is very good, clean and spacious.

• Kuruvilla (9/5): Superb - The property is within walking distance of Plaka Street and Acropolis. All amenities were available for use. Families with kids are recommended to visit Athens National Park. Kettle was not clean.

• Jamie (9/5): Good location, great host! - Plaka is a fantastic part of Athens, and this apartment is central to so many great attractions. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the apartment had all the amenities that we needed. The apartment has great soundproofing and we heard minimal street noise during our stay. The host provided excellent instructions on how to access the property, and she gave us the option to check out late since our flight was late in the day. I'd be more than happy to stay again in future. We were more than happy with our stay, but no place is perfect. Some parts of the apartment could use minor maintenance, and the extra room with the washing machine did smell a bit musty. The living room was also small, but the bedrooms and kitchen had a generous size to make up for it.

• Eva (6/5): Well located basic flat, good base for sightseeing - Excellent location, very convenient for sightseeing! The listing doesn't make clear that the flat is on basement level, so there's not much light. It wouldn't be suitable for spending much time there - it's better just to use as a base from which to go out sightseeing. The bulbs are a bit too white, creating a dreary, industrial effect, and the flat is furnished sparsely and needs a facelift - it's pretty shabby in places, eg with peeling wallpaper in the hall and a dirty mildewy shower curtain. A few simple changes could make a big difference to the comfort level, eg being able to mount the shower head on the wall, dusting the corners more thoroughly, getting a shorter shower curtain that can air out more easily, fitting warmer coloured light bulbs, and better covering over the green fire escape sign which glows all night into the bedroom.
• Rosa (10/5): Exceptional - The location of this property is amazing in the heart of Plaka. Air-conditioned and comfortable rooms. We loved the location. Washing machine is a bonus. Nice coffee shop close by. It is a little run-down but this didn't affect our stay. The shower is interesting it doesn't have a high shower head holder, hand held only.

• Tanya (7/5): It was a good location to get around Athens for a short stay. - Located near to a number of the main tourist attractions, restaurants and pedestrian areas. The host helped organise transport to the port for us. Rooms were spacious. One of the beds had a very soft mattress that rolled us into the middle and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The traffic noise outside the bedroom windows was loud at times as the windows were right down on street level.

• Mirkó (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment has a perfect location in a quite street very close to the arceological sites, from the street you can see Acropolis. Plaka is a very good part of the city with many shops, reataurantes. It was easy to find it and we got all the neccessar information one day before our arrival. The appartment is well equiped with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. The hosts are kind and you can turn to them, they always answered in a short time. We were 4 friends tha apartment was perfect for us, thank you!
• Ciaron (9/5): Well situated appartement - Very well situated apartment. 10 minutes walk from the Parliament and from the Acropolis. The area is full of shops and restaurants. Very good atmosphere. The hosts were very reactive and friendly. No complaints about the appartement.
• Ann-marie (8/5): Very good - The location was centrally located. It's in a safe neighborhood. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. A few instructions on the washer/dryer would have been helpful.
• Edward (9/5): Perfect base of operations for Athens sightseeing - Excellent location with easy walking distance of everything that we wanted to see, do, and eat. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets were quite heavy and warm. Host left us a bottle of wine which was a pleasant surprise. The sofa-bed itself wasn't comfortable, so I would say that this is best for up to 4 adults. There is hardly any group "hang-out" space so if you need space for 4 or 5 people to sit for a few hours and talk, relax, or play table games this probably won't work - we primarily used the apt as a base for outside activities and to crash at night and it was perfect for that.
• Jayne (8/5): Very good - The apartment is in an excellent location in the heart of Plaka, making it easy to get around. The apartment is large and has lots of potential. The rooms were large but sparsely furnished with dark colours. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom adequate. We didn't use the kitchen, so can't comment on facilities in that room. It needs renovation work, walls need sorting out (paint and plaster) and maybe brighten the whole place up with brighter, happier colours, new flooring (like wood) , If it were mine I would change one of the rooms to a living area with a sofa bed and generally make it all more inviting. It's a shame as the area is very sought after and the owners have a treasure if they put some thought into the interior.
