• Catherine (8/5): Un endroit très agréable pour découvrir Athènes sans être dans un quartier trop touristique - La localisation : très pratique pour visiter la ville car à moins de 30 mn à pied et 2/3 stations de métro des points d’intérêts. C’est un quartier populaire, pas très touristique avec un bon restaurant à 2 pas et une bonne boulangerie juste en bas (pratique pour le petit déjeuner) L’appartement est confortable ( literie notamment) et très propre. Le petit balcon est bien agréable pour siroter son café le matin en écoutant les bruits de la vie dans la quartier Maria est très à l’écoute. Nous la remercions à nouveau d’avoir accepté de nous laisser disposer de l’appartement jusqu’à l’heure du départ pour l’aéroport : nous avons pu profiter d’Athènes le dernier jour sans traîner nos bagages !! Point d’attention : l’appartement est au 2e étage sans ascenseur (un peu dur de monter les bagages à partir d’un certain âge !) Et une seule suggestion : peut être prévoir une 2e clé . Un seul jeu n’est pas un problème pour une famille mais pour des amis qui n’ont pas forcément le même rythme cela oblige à organiser les entrées/ sorties.

Apartamentul este curat, spațios, aproape de centru și de obiective importante din oraș. Ne- am simțit bine, relaxați și în siguranță. Vom reveni cat de curând!

• Christine (8/5): Logement très agréable, hôtesse à l'écoute et très accueillante - Notre hôtesse était très accueillante, soucieuse de nous faire découvrir son pays. Elle a pris le temps de tout nous expliquer, de nous montrer les lieux à voir sur la carte touristique. Le logement est à 3 minutes du métro qui dessert les lieux incontournables d'Athènes. Maria répond tout de suite aux demandes formulées sur le site de location. Je recommande ce logement

• tina (9/5): Toller Aufenthalt - Wir hatten mit der ganzen Familie einen tollen Aufenthalt. Maria hat immer sofort auf Nachrichten reagiert. Die Innenstadt ist in 20 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, die Metro nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, und die Appartments sind mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
• Andy (9/5): Comfortable, fun and enjoyable!!!! - Fantastic apartment, and really easy to get to the Metro (2 minute walk) to then get to anywhere in the city. Clean throughout, with great facilities as advertised. Host was amazing - quick to respond, and flexible with collecting and handing back keys at end of stay. Really convenient having a mini supermarket downstairs and a good quality restaurant opposite. Brilliant! A little bit noisy at night and the bathroom door wouldn’t open and close as easily as others, but overall a lovely experience!

• Rhimi (10/5): Un appartement idéal pour séjourner à Athènes. - L'emplacement est idéalement situé. Tout peut se faire à pied. Il n'y a aucune insécurité dans le quartier. C'est vrai il y a des tags de partout, des SDF en nombre mais c'est lié au contexte social de la Grèce. L'appartement est très fonctionnel, il y a absolument tout le nécessaire pour séjourner, les 3 chambres c'est parfait. Il y a la clim dans les 3 chambres, dans la cuisine. Un balcon qui fait entièrement le tour de l'appartement. La salle de bain est très bien. Une petite épicerie sympa bas de l'immeuble pour les petits achats. Rien, tout est parfait

The host was perfect—warm and explained everything to us. The location was excellent, a 2-minute walk from the metro and also close to the main attractions. Love everything!❤️

• Wayne (8/5): Overall a great price for a nice flat in a good location. - Nice central location. It was quiet most nights but we could hear partying from the flat above most of the night on the Saturday with loud voices and chairs scraping the floor.
• Mariam (9/5): Nice, comfortable, fairly big apartment with needed amenities - The apartment is quite big and comfortable. separate kitchen, everything one may need. There are 3 rooms. The host Maria was extremely communicative and flexible, made the check-in and out super easy. The location was fairly convenient, 15-20min walking to Acropolis. There were 3 rooms, but one seemed like it was a living-room turned into a bedroom. They made the hallway into a small livingroom with a small couch and a tv. It was ok, just that that room had sliding doors with glass, so if anyone turned the light on in the apartment, it was quite visible. The apartment is not new of course and quite a bit of street noise. It was a bit strange also to ask about the hot water to be manually turned on/off and no paper in toilet, but it was true that we encountered a lot of that throughout Greece.
• Salvatore (10/5): Casa accogliente, pulitissima e spaziosa a 5 min dalla Metro. Maria disponibilissima. - Abbiamo soggiornato in due famiglie, in due appartamenti diversi nello stesso stabile. Entrambi gli appartamenti erano pulitissimi e ben curati, dotati di biancheria da letto e da bagno. La cucina era molto ben attrezzata, con tutto il necessario per cucinare. Maria è stata disponibilissima, molto accogliente e sempre pronta a darci informazioni e consigli utili. È stata inoltre molto flessibile e disponibile per un check-in effettuato in tarda serata a causa di un ritardo dell’aereo, cosa davvero apprezzata. La posizione è ottima: a soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla metro, con negozi per la piccola spesa nelle immediate vicinanze e un buon ristorante proprio di fronte allo stabile. Soluzione ideale per chi vuole muoversi comodamente in città. Consigliatissimo

• Tamás (10/5): Kényelmes, tiszta, tágas. - Nagyon tágas, jól felszerelt apartmanok, közel a belvároshoz és a metróhoz. A környék nem túl rendezett és bizalomgerjesztő, de minket semmilyen atrocitás nem ért.

Maria è gentilissima e super disponibile, ci ha dato molte idee utili sui posti da visitare e come muoverci al meglio L'appartamento è molto grande e comodo, dotato di tutto, microonde, piastra, bollitore, lavatrice, phon, ferro da stiro Materassi molto duri, sarebbe stato utile trovare qualche tisana/infuso e il detersivo per la lavatrice
• Maria (9/5): Great base to explore Athens - Location was great. Many cafes and restaurants near by. Plus the metro is 3 minute walk away. Each bedroom had Aircon. The host Maria is very nice. It had all the essentials needed for a stay. The loveseat in the TV room isn't the most comfortable
• Jane (9/5): Fabulous Stay at Mairas House. - Very good apartment. Spacious, clean and had all the facilities needed and more. The host Maria was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Location was very near the Metro and Hop on Hop Off bus stop, so very easy to get around and see the sights of Athens. Also some good bars and restaurants nearby heading towards Karaiskaki Square which is the best way to walk. Nothing really.

Klimaanlage in jedem Schlafzimmer und in der Küche haben wir bei sommerlichen Temperaturen in Athen sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und erklärt bei Schlüsselübergabe alles.

Less than 5 minutes walk to the red subway line, then either 3 stops to the museums near Syntagma Square or 4 stops to the acropolis. There is a small shop in the same building selling basics like bread and milk, and countless restaurants in walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Walking up two flights of stairs with our luggage—no elevator.

• Natalie (10/5): Comfortable apartment close to the tourist area of Athens - Loved how spacious it is. All the amenities were great and it was really clean. We got a very informative tour which was nice. Communication with the owner was super easy.
• Yann (10/5): Great place to stay for a few days in Athens. - Great appartment with a nice balcony, quite spacious with several rooms, well located in central Athens, mostly you can walk anywhere interesting. The A/C is really nice especially in august. Kitchen has the amenities, the flat also has a washing machine. Host was very helpful and welcoming. The area is safe, but quite close to some more shabby areas, basically don't go north or north-east from the flat, there is a kind of ghetto north of Omonia/Metaxourgios metro; simply take our street Kolonou straight down, walk thru the mini chinatown to reach tourist zones.

The host is very friendly, she gave us a warm welcome, had prepared snacks and water for us and gave us recommendations on what to see and how to get there. The apartment was clean and spacious with everything in it - iron, hair dryer, even an oven and a washing machine. This is one of the best places I've stayed in ever and I travel a lot. If we return to Athens, we will definitely stay there again!

It was very well stocked with dishes, cutlery and beautiful glassware. I loved having a washing machine since I like to keep my clothes clean. The location was safe and secure. It was very close to the Metro which made getting around very convenient. The host is very friendly and responsive if needed. I was there for 12 nights and enjoyed the entire stay. There is nothing that I didn’t like.

• Csgergo (9/5): Very well located, cozy apartment! - The accommodation is in a great location, just a short walk from the metro (Metaxourgeio station, 3 stops to Syntagma, the local transport hub). There are convenient amenities nearby, including a small grocery shop just under the apartment (great place for breakfast) and a great restaurant across the street. The area feels safe! The apartment has a classic style with modern amenities. The three bedrooms comfortably accommodate 5 people for a peaceful and separate rest, while the spacious kitchen can accommodate everyone. The living room is large enough for sitting and discussing daily matters with your companions, making it the true centerpiece of the apartment. The host is kind, helpful, and responsive to all questions. Just small things. The shower curtain and the rugs could use a cleaning. The area is bustling, so if you've been walking around the city all day and want to rest when you get back, the noise might keep you awake for a while.

• Lennert (8/5): We had a great stay and I would definitely stay here again. - Convenient location in a trendy but still quite rough (in a good way) neighbourhood with good bars and restaurants. Not spoiled by tourists but not too far from the tourist spots either. The shower is not the best ever, but considering the price you can't have it all. We were told the neighbourhood can be a bit sketchy at night, but we never had any problems at all.

• Yana (5/5): It was a very nice stay, but we will never be back nor recommend it to no one. - An extremely rude owner, was screaming at us upon check out for not folding the blankets, and for not taking the (one last bag of) trash out, plus blaming us for stealing a bottle opener and a pizza slicer (which we have not seen nor used). So out of order.
• Hughes (10/5): Lovely space in Metaxourgeio - Lots of space, lots of light coming into the apartment. Feels like a home and very easy to live in. Short walk to a metro station and bus stops so very accessible from anywhere in the city. Very welcoming host who waited for us to arrive even when we were delayed, to provide all the information herself. Nothing to complain about. Some may find the area slightly out of the way, but again, is a less than 5 minute walk from a metro station that can take you to the centre of Athens in 10 minutes.
• Dóra (10/5): Exceptional - The property is really close to the metro. Though some houses look shabby in the neighborhood I felt safe even in the night. There are nice Greek taverns in the area. Maria communicated to us that we can check in earlier and she was waiting for us with some pastry and water, which was a really nice surprise. The flat is nice and clean, equipped with everything you might need. We had a really nice stay :-)

• Giulia (10/5): Exceptional - Incredibly comfortable apartment, fully furnished and equipped with all necessities. The owner is extremely helpful and always ready to support your requests, even if this entails a checkin later in the evening. The neighbourhood is less lively at night compared to other areas of central Athens, but still there are nice restaurants and bars few minutes away by foot and it is easy to walk everywhere.

The flat has everything you need - great kitchen, bathroom, comfy bed. The location was also amazing, 2 min walk to the metro to get into town and theres a nice cafe right below the flat which does great coffee. Can't recommend enough, we had a great stay :)

Host helped me with guidance from airport to the accomodation, as well as adviced where to find local bus station to Delphi - even called to transport company! Accomodation is spacious and well furnished. Surrounding is great with close metro station. I can only recommend.

It is near the city centre by metro, however it is very usual to find drogadicts around the appartment area, so it is better to move by taxi. Other than that a very nice appartment.

She was very nice and polite and showed us the best locations in Athens in the map that she brought for us. Also showed us how everything in the property worked. The only thing I can think of was a neighbour was hammering at 10pm but that was not the hosts fault.
