• Leslie (8/5): - Quaint quiet street, walkable to historic sites with balcony views of Acropolis. There was no hot water for a very long time. We arrived late after long travel and just wanted a hot shower. It took so long for the water tank to heat up that we had to forego showers that night. No breakfast, soap, or shampoo. No place to store luggage. There is a limited hour luggage storage place nearby.
• Kirsten (10/5): Fabulous - The apartment was lovely and in a great location. Nice outside space and you can see the Acropolis from the balcony. The host was excellent, very quick to respond. Shops and restaurants are one street away. You can walk to the Acropolis from the apartment and the hop on hop off bus is a five minute walk. I would definitely recommend. Had a great time. Spiral staircase up to apartment.

Had to ask for coffee pods for the coffee machine. Tired decor with uncomfortable old sofa and chair in lounge area so.just sat on the terrace. Otherwise its ok. Good to have the washung machine tho its v noisy and bounces around the bathroom Location and terrace is what saves this place

• ΜΑRΙΑ (10/5): Υπέροχο!!! - Κεντρικο και φιλόξενο διαμέρισμα. Παρα την χειμερινή περίοδο ήταν εξαιρετικά ζεστό. Το check in ήταν γρήγορο και εύκολο παρότι φτάσαμε αργά το βράδυ. Συνιστάται!
• VERONIKA (6/5): - Fantastic location: everything is within walking distance, with an amazing view of the Acropolis. Quiet street and secure gated access I chose the apartment because of the great reviews and expected everything to be fine. Unfortunately, we arrived during very cold weather and struggled to stay warm. We couldn’t work out how to turn on the main heating, so we relied on the air conditioning units. Two worked well, but one only blew cold air, which made the apartment uncomfortable, especially with the old, drafty windows. Hot water was also an issue. The boiler operates on a timer, so hot water was only available for short periods. Each shower required waiting around 40 minutes for the water to reheat, which was quite inconvenient. Thankfully, we had only booked for three nights, and our friends were staying on the same street. We were able to shower at their place and ended up spending most of our time there. At checkout, we received a message asking for €4 per night in city tax to be left in cash at the property. However, this tax had already been paid through Booking.com. After querying this, we were told it did not actually apply to us. Future guests should double check any additional payment requests

The site says that there is parking, but we did not read that the parking was an additional $20. We could not use it and had to park on the street. PLEASE spend the $20 euros on the parking. The street parking is sketchy, at best.

It was lovely to be able to walk out of the flat with all the restaurants and sites so close by. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here if visiting Athens.

• Kathy (10/5): Very comfortable and super clean, great location! - The apartment was lovely! It was very clean and welcoming. The outdoor veranda was perfect with a great view of the Acropolis. I could have stayed there all night just staring out at the view. The location is right in the Plaka so it was easy to get out for dinner and see some sights. There was all full kitchen with coffee available, so we had coffee out on the veranda again. It was perfect for the 5 of us. We were there for only one night so there was nothing to dislike.

The location was perfect: Restaurants and shops right down the street. Also, it's a 5 minute walk to Acropolis metro station. We took the metro from the airport, which I highly recommend. Metro is very easy to use. The apartment had a nice balcony. Unfortunately, when we were there, it was 40 degrees C. Brutal! I would recommend this accommodation.
• Charles (10/5): Great place! Would stay here again! - The location is great. On a quiet street, just one block from the busier walking/shopping streets of Plaka. The apartment is very clean with all the amenities needed. Great for our family of 4. Loved the balcony. In fact it has two balconies, one that over looks the side of the pathenon, the other we used to hang our clothes after wash. The summer months are HOT and there are three AC units that kept us cool. Check in information was great as well as directions. Communication was great too. Would absolutely stay Elia again.

• Andres (9/5): Amazing location right underneath the Parthenon - The view from the balcony, the decor of the apartment, the parking spot right below the house. The location is perfect, very close to the south entrance to the Parthenon and close to nice bars/restaurants. The house was a bit cold (we managed to make it right with the A/C) and the hot water when showering could be a bit hotter. We even activated the extra hot water button as suggested.
• Szilard (10/5): Excellent location, flexible arrival and departure. - It is a very nice area, I think the most beautiful part of Athens. Most of the historical sights are within walking distance. Many tavernas in the area (Acropol is highly recommended). The soundproofing between the apartments is not the best, but this is a result of the building's structure.

• Nassos (4/5): Great location, but a very cold and not cozy apartment - Very well-located apartment, close to Plaka and Syntagma, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Situated on a quiet street, it features a lovely balcony with a stunning view of the Acropolis and has nice decoration. It could be very pleasant if a few issues were fixed. However, we were not happy with our stay. We visited for Christmas, and the apartment was very cold as it lacks central heating, with only air conditioning units available. Many of the air conditioners made a very annoying noise, so we couldn't keep them running for long, especially at night, leaving the apartment uncomfortably cold. Additionally, carpets were missing, making the space not cozy at all. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and while part of the apartment was renovated, the bathroom was not and some of the doors were old and creaky. I would recommend this apartment only if basic issues like the air conditioning, doors, and addition of carpets were addressed.

• Michelle (9/5): Fantastic location, spacious and well appointed! - Fantastic location! Close to historical sites, down town and gorgeous little cafes, tavernas and restaurants - all walkable! Spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy self check in. Small touches like laundry detergent, paper towel and olive oil were great. There was also enough cutlery, plates and glasses for 4 and plenty of towels. Wifi and aircon worked great too. Responsive hosts. Thank you! A small book or QR code to explain things like how to use the hot water system, washing machine and oven, and where to take out the garbage would have been really helpful. Also knowing where the nearest chemist and grocery store was would have been a nice addition, but we worked all of this out. And an indoor clothes airer would have been handy to help dry clothes on rainy days. And watch the stairs- navigating a tricky staircase with large suitcases was a challenge, but doable.

You can easily get to restaurants, bars, shops, and the major attractions around Athens with ease. It is also a great location if you choose to take day tours outside of Athens as the tour companies are close by. I would definitely stay at this location when visiting Athens in the future. I would have liked to have directions for the washer in English as this took me some time to figure out. Also, it would be helpful to have the checkout instructions when you check in, as I didn’t see them in my email until after I checked out.

The apartment and terrace were nice, clean and spacious with a lovely view of the Acropolis. The decor was nice and imaginative. The bathroom could do with being updated as many others have stated, it needs a shower cubicle for better safety.

• Maria (9/5): Superb - Fabulous location only 2 min walk from the heart of Plaka, 7 min walk to the north entrance of the Acropolis and same from Hadrian’s Arch. However still quiet. Gorgeous modern fittings out with beautiful furniture, comfy beds and lounge. Covered balcony with stunning view of the Acropolis hill. We could even sit out there during a summer storm and not get wet 👌🏼 We only stayed one night, but wish it had been more. Narrow winding stairs up to the apartment, not great with large suitcases.

• Assaf (7/5): Good - Excellent location. Nice terrace and view of the Acropolis . 1. No elevator (3rd floor) - we must have missed that when booking . Family of 4 with 4 suitcases and baggage ;) 2. Electricity is powered off when you leave the apartment, like in hotel rooms (using a slotted card). This is very strange for an apartment when you want to run the washing machine while you are out or keep the air-condition running in the summer. The owner agreed though to give us the spare key with the extra power control card. 3. Old plumbing - when taking a shower, foam was coming out of the draining hole. 4. Second double bed was quite narrow for two children . 5. Asking for 1.5 euro per day in cash to cover some tax , when we are paying hundred of euro per night. I would expect this to be covered as part of the payment. 6. Had to pay upfront. No cancelation option.

Also, the host was very accomodating and responsive, which we appreciated! The air conditioner and fan in the bathroom were a bit too loud. Also there was no lift but thankfully the host organised for someone to help us with our luggage, and we were very grateful for that!!
