Metro station one hundred meters from the front door. Nice owner, bringing extra sheets when needed. Beds were comfy, kitchen was equipped enough. Nothing in particular.

• Beverly (10/5): It’s my favorite place to stay in Athens. - Very comfortable and excellent location! I consider it expensive but I think it’s worth it and will try to stay here whenever I am in Athens for more than a couple of days. Would love a microwave but that’s a very minor thing.

Eché en falta el microondas, calentan el desayuno es cazo no es tan cómodo. La madera en el suelo desayuno la ducha tampoco es buena idea. El agua se sale por ella.

• Timothy (10/5): Exceeded our expectations! - The location was perfect! An easy walk to shopping, restaurants and of course the Acropolis! Very spacious and clean apartment. Ionna is such a lovely person! She felt like family. We arrived at the location before the apartment was ready and we were allowed to bring our luggage up and tour the apartment while she finished cleaning. We grabbed a bite to eat at a location only 2 blocks away and by the time we finished, Ionna had finished cleaning. Anytime we had any questions, the owners and Ionna were quick to respond. I highly recommend the Elegant Acropolis!
• Shakir (10/5): Great Location, Superhosts, and Wonderful time! - One the best of places we’ve stayed in. The hosts were wonderful. They went way and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The place is clean and spacious and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The best part was the location! It’s in Plaka neighborhood. The Acropolis, shops, restaurants, museums, and other attractions are within walking distance. Nothing really. I’d definitely go back there.

• Diana (10/5): Super clean and amazing place - Amazing place! Great location, spotless clean. We had a great time at that place. Great communication with the owners. Loanna the lady that takes care of the place is simple amazing and helpful. We cannot recommend the place enough. We will be back for sure.
• Mandy (10/5): Spacious, welcoming apartment central to exploring Athens. - Everything! The apartment is spacious, well stocked with basic provisions (tea, coffee, condiments, jam, toast, water etc) and within walking distance of all major sites. Ioanna, who met us to hand over the keys, was warm and welcoming and took the time to point out different areas, restaurants etc and also returned later on our first night with extra bedding as the weather turned cool. Loved the balconies to watch and listen to the colour and sound of local life. A microwave would be handy.

Lots of space, well equipped with two bathrooms which was very helpful for our family of six. Air conditioning was great bedrooms and apartment was so quiet despite being in a very busy location. No natural light in living areas and on some days there was an overwhelmingly strong smell of glue in the apartment complex from sandal shop below.

• Heidi (10/5): Perfect property for your Athens visit, ideal location and 5-star accommodations. - Loved everything about this property! The location is PERFECT for exploring Athens. I did quite a bit of research to identify the prime location for our Athens visit. I wanted to be close to everything without being in the noise of the city. And this property is in a prime spot — everything within 5-10 minute walk. Exactly what we were looking for. There’s a mini market right around the corner (literally steps away) for any essentials needed including snacks and water. Acropolis was about 5 minutes away, Plaka and shopping 5-10 minutes. The property was ideal for our family (2 adults, 3 teen girls), and all our needs were met. One flight of stairs up from the entrance, with an elevator right there for the heavier luggage. We were might and shown the property by the loveliest and most friendly greeter. Hosts provided cold bottled water which was very much appreciated! Even with our brief stay we used the washer, and our clothes were dry the next morning. We appreciated the room darkening shutters to help us get our sleep schedule on track. The AC works phenomenally well, which we were so grateful for this time of year. Beds are comfortable and there were extra pillows which is always nice and appreciated. The property is modern and completely updated. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. If you are looking for the ideal spot for your Athens trip, this is ideal — it was our first time in Athens, so I didn’t know what I didn’t know…and I’m grateful this is where we landed. Would stay here again, and definitely recommend it.

• Elizabeth (9/5): Great apartment close to acropolis. - Excellent apartment with recent renovations and with great amenities (coffee filters, s&p, sugar, washing machine and strong detergent, oven, fridge, no microwave), convenient location. Comfortable beds, and separation of living areas offered privacy. Location is ideal with groceries, bakeries and restaurants very close by. There was an issue with the cooling system. It never cooled the apartment sufficiently and this was during a week with mild temperatures. Owners said they would look into it. Opening windows to allow for ventilation was not an option because of musical entertainment, occasional very loud cycles and other city noises. No ear plugs for this traveler but may be an option for others. Toilet paper bucket is best solution to bad city plumbing. Learn something new when traveling! This was one of those new things. This is not exclusive to this property, by the way, so not a negative. It is a fact of life in Athens and elsewhere in Greece.
• Walker (10/5): Super apartment - The location was just steps from the Acropolis and Plaka. We have stayed in hotels in the same area previously, but this was much better value for our family group of 5. The apartment was freshly renovated and absolutely spotless and the owner was very accommodating allowing us to get early access to drop our luggage off. Big shout out to the lady who was cleaning the apartment, she was super helpful!

Every room has an air condition a TV . 2 Bathrooms with showers which is very important for a family with teenagers . Big living room , big kitchen with all its facilities , big dining table and a very good washing machine . Very very quick response from the owner who was very helpfull and very cooperative. We really enjoyed our stay there and definitley we will come back and stay at this app every vaccation . Highly Highly Highly recommended place . The Best by Far . Thank you
• Yuan (9/5): Superb - It allows us to check in earlier and check out later than the regular time which was a big help. I wish there was a microwave since for most travelers and in most cases when using a kitchen would be for reheating the leftovers from eating out rather than cooking from a raw start. A microwave would be most convenient and useful. Also, some extra towels would be nice. We stayed in the apartment for 4 days with only one set of towels (no extra and no one came to change the towels).

Lots of restaurants and bars within easy reach as well as the historic sights. The apartment was spacious with comfy beds and the lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. It had everything we needed for our stay. We would have appreciated knowing where the hot tub was. Perhaps a note in the apartment would be helpful. Also the street noise did keep us awake. This was easily rectified with some earplugs.

We didn’t need to used any public transportations at all for our 5days trip in Athens (apart from getting to/back from Airport of course) everything was easily reached on foot. Apartment was clean and I feel really safe leaving some of my valuable stuff there. The lady who waited for us to arrive was super sweet and made us feel so welcome. If you are looking for a lovely place to stay and explore Athens….THIS IS THE BEST PLACE!! Can be a bit noisy in one room that closer to the street but with an earplugs you will be fine! (The others 2 rooms are pretty quiet)

The host made sure to provide everything that we would need for a comfortable stay. Close to all major attractions like Acropolis, Syntagma, National Gardens, Plaka, etc. This is easily one of the nicest apartments I have ever booked in my 30 years of travel. And reasonably priced too. Total Value for Money in an otherwise expensive country. Just use the address provided in Booking.com. Do not search for Elegant Acropolis on Google maps. It leads you somewhere else.

AC worked really well, which was great because we were in Athens during a heatwave. The housekeeper was just finishing up as we arrived (earlier than the check-in time) and she was amazing! She pointed out where to get groceries and which way to go to get to Plaka. The showers were a little smelly but it could just be the way things are. I remember our bathroom in Belgium having an odd smell. They should word the bathroom instructions a little better - in Greece, you can't flush ANYTHING in the toilets and you must place the soiled TP in a trash can. Through translation, the note they have in the bathroom isn't super clear.

The apartment is right in the middle of a busy area so expect some conversations in the street late at night, but thankfully all windows have drapes that make it pretty sound proof.

The apartment is right next to the acropolis and tons of restaurants so made sightseeing extremely easy. And the hosts were so gracious to answer all of our little questions and were very helpful.

• Jodie (9/5): Spacious modern apartment in central location with friendly host. - Great location as it was in easy walking distance to the acropolis etc so we didn't need to use public transport. Perfect for our short stay. We were met at the apartment and given all the info we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment is quite big, with a modern fitout and suited our family with 2 teenagers. Great communication from the host and I would stay here again. There was nothing we didn't like about the apartment, but we did find there was a lot of street noise late at night. This is to be expected in such a central location though and the window shutters helped to reduce the noise a bit.

The place is amazing, I recommend it! - The hosts contacted me before my arrival with detailed and clear instructions on how to get access. The hostess was waiting for me at the property, so warm and nice welcome, she speaks very good English and explained everything. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, large kitchen with a dining room and living room, two. All rooms have independent air-conditioning system. I was very pleasantly surprised with the two balconies as well. Wi-fi was strong enough to work. Facilities were very clean, furniture are comfortable, wardrobes are extremely big and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with every needed equipment and appliances. The hosts even leave for you coffee, tea, jam and all different types of spices, in case you prepare your food alone. Location is amazing! 2 minutes from Aropoli Metro station, one of the main tourist streets and the Museum. You can find absolutely everything you need in a walking distance.

Excellent restaurants 2 blocks away at the start of the Plaka district. Just a few minutes' walk to the Acropolis southeast entrance. Would prefer self check-in. Our arrival time changed at the last minute, and the host was able to meet us but made sure to let us know how inconvenient this was for them. Could easily be avoided with a door code or lockbox (other units in this building had them at the entrance).

• Ken (9/5): Wonderful stay in amazing location - The location was amazing and made it easy to walk all over the central part of Athens to see historical sites and different neighborhoods. While the building doesn't look like much, the apartment itself is modern, clean, and had plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out and enjoy. Comfortable beds and furniture and fully functioning kitchen (note: no microwave). Host was a bit slow to respond, but was helpful: answering questions, allowing an early check-in, and us to pay for a mid-stay cleaning. The cleaning person (Ioanna) was wonderful Maybe minors things, but nonetheless there is room for improvement. Drying rack for the laundry was a bit small. The shower doors didn't seal and significant water came out. Only one pillow per person. And the host made a joke about asking us for a 10 rating or not to rate at all. Even with these things, we would definitely stay here again (due to location, the facilities, and the size of the apartment.)

• Efthymios (9/5): Great apartment with awesome location! - Excellent location near acropolis and plaka, only foot steps away from the metro station. The place is renovated, it is cozy, quiet, and the bedrooms were spacious and modern. The area is beautiful and safe with lots of restaurants and mini markets nearby. The lady that met with us and provided the key was lovely. Only some minimal things: the kitchen knives need replacement you can't cut anything. It would be better if a microwave was provided. Blankets weren't provided, the medications - first aid provided was a good idea but they were expired. Overall a great experienc e.

Three very spacious bedrooms with lots of closet space. The kitchen is completely stocked with all dishes cook ware coffe maker. Kettle. Washing machine etc. the living room has a door that you can close if you’ve got extra guest staying on the sofa bed. The room with a smaller bed actually has quite a good size bed in it as well. All the beds were outstanding and comfortable. The apt is very spacious. The balconies were perfect for just stepping outside for fresh air. There are more lights than you could ever need in the apartment I could go on and on it was just great. The owners are extremely friendly and responsive. I will go back in a second and wish I could’ve stayed longer. The only thing I didn’t like, was actually having to leave it. It was amazing!

It is at the heart of the city and steps from ancient sites, restaurants, grocery store, etc. We stayed here on our first night in Greece and then again on our last night. We were so pleased with the location since we didn't know what to expect. Even though it was in the middle of everything we wanted, it was also off the beaten path just enough to be quiet and peaceful. On our last day in Greece, we were able to walk all over Athens - through Plaka, down to the main shopping area, to the changing of the guards, through a beautiful peaceful park/garden (not sure what it is called but it is huge in the middle of the city), to Zeus temple, and back to the apartment. Very very walkable area. With a family of 5 it met our expectations perfectly. We needed multiple bedrooms and bathrooms which it accommodated exactly as we hoped for. I really liked the window shades that could be automatically lowered with a button. The place was clean which after traveling from the states was very much appreciated. This apartment is exactly as advertised and a great place to stay. The key to the building (not the apartment) is a bit tricky and we needed to jiggle it a bit to get it to open.
• Gary (10/5): Perfect location, quiet, spacious, and friendly hosts. - Location was perfect - just a short walk and you reach the Acropolis and the Plaka district. And despite being so close and central, it is quiet. The apartment is very clean and quite spacious. There are all the basic facilities you will need. And we were given a slightly early check-in and met the host's assistant who let us in early to rest. She was very friendly! Highly recommended.
• Louise (10/5): The best place you could stay in the city of Athens - Communication, location and facilities was excellent. We were met on arrival and made to ‘feel at home’. Everything you could think of was in the apartment. Air con , wifi, excellent in all rooms. Washing machine was very handy. We were so well looked after. Location is excellent: close to buses for tours, restaurants, metro. It is a beautiful home and we will definitely stay here again if coming back to Athens.

The owners were super attentive with excellent communication and went the extra mile to accommodate all of our needs. Will recommend to any family or 3 couples with a kid . Nothing. • Pamela (9/5): Great location and apartment. Will come again! - The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a great location near many restaurants and sites. The host were friendly and accommodating. One of the beds could have had a blanket or comforter rather than only a thin bed cover that felt like a sheet. My husband likes the air conditioner set cold but I was quite cold because I didn't have a warmer bed cover.

• Elle (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely stay at the Elegant Acropolis. It was like a home away from home, immaculately clean and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could ask for. The location was perfect and the owners were a pleasure to communicate with and, on our arrival, Ioanna was so welcoming :) Thank you for our stay, we only wish we could have been there longer!!

• Julie (10/5): Our stay in Athens was made even more memorable with a great apartment. - Great location, very close to the Acropolis and museum. Excellent communication with the hosts. Apartment clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay.
• Vicbg (10/5): It was a flawless and memorable stay. - Perfect location. Just a block away from the Acropolis and a 10 minute walk from the Synthangma square. Subway station was virtually behind the corner. Extremely nice apartment with comfy beds. Hosts were very nice and helpful.
• Ching (10/5): Lovely apartment in a great location - Very clean and modern apartment. There is aircon/heating in every room, electric shutters and very comfortable beds. The apartment is located within walking distance to everything, very close to the metro, Acropolis, museum, restaurants, cafes and shopping. The street itself is quiet but some noise can be heard from the nearby main road, but not enough to disturb our sleep. On arrival, we were met by lovely Joanna and could contact the owner by phone. When there was plumbing issue on the first night, the owner had the problem fixed that evening, which we appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay in Athens and this apartment. Would definitely recommend!

• Pietra (9/5): Wonderful Athens stay, great location - The unit was large and roomy, and the location was fantastic. Easy walking to everything we wanted to do. The apartment was clean and very nice and we even had a chance to do some laundry, a big plus. I’d definitely stay again! The unit is a 3 bedroom and there were only 2 of us so the third bedroom was locked and we couldn’t used that en-suite bathroom. But we were only there one night and it was not a big issue. Just strange.
• Thalia (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were so friendly and happy to answer any questions, always ready to help. Comfortable and perfectly situated, walking distance from all the main sites. It's in a side street but close to a busy one but if windows are kept closed, it locks out the city noise . Would definitely recommend this little gem to friends.
