Guest Reviews
- Gotuzzo (10/5): WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK! - WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK! Everything! The view was amazing, the apartment was perfect for 4 people, next to everything! The bathtub on the terrace was perfect after a long day of walking around. Having dinner with the view of the acropolis was an experience in itself. The elevator to the 6th floor was quick and the bonus was having all the cats next to the church downstairs.

- Chernyshou (1/5): Misrepresented, Unhygienic, and Scam Tactics Used at Checkout - Location and view The Property Condition (Misrepresented & Neglected)
Unacceptable Hygiene: The bedsheets provided were old, worn, and had highly visible stains on them.
Poor Furniture Quality: The kids' bed had a deteriorated, low-quality spring mattress that was extremely uncomfortable.
Water Damage: The ceiling in the utility/washer room has extensive, active water damage, peeling paint, and a completely exposed vent hole.
Maintenance & Safety Issues: Several electrical outlets and light switches were loose and not seated flush against the wall.
Dated Fixtures: The apartment feels archaic and neglected, featuring outdated fixtures like an old pull-hook toilet. The reality of the property does not match the price point.
The Host Behavior (Deceptive & Unprofessional)
Failed Promises: When confronted about the dirty linens, the host (Dimitris) promised to deliver fresh sheets that night but never showed up, forcing our family to sleep on stained bedding.
Bait-and-Switch Tactics: The host offered in writing via the app to charge only 50% for the first night if we checked out early. When we accepted, he immediately tried to retract the offer and charge us for the full night.
Platform Manipulation/Fraud: After we checked out exactly as instructed and moved to a different hotel, the host maliciously marked our reservation as a "No Show." This was a deliberate attempt to steal a cancellation penalty and block us from leaving a negative review, despite his own chat logs proving we checked in and stayed the night.
- Gabriel (7/5): - No Internet, even though they tried to help and gave us a password for an account from another floor The Internet didn't work. This was extremely frustrating since we needed it to submit a few work related items.
The entrance and elevator were pretty sketchy. The location was pretty good. The view was pretty amazing
- Aneta (9/5): Great apartment, and better localisation than you can imagine. - Localisation was the best, everywhere close.
- Semen (2/5): -
- Ákos (10/5): located in the hearth of athen with an amazing view - the location and the view bathroom is a little bit small
- Anya Prudov (5/5): -
- David (8/5): - The view and the various rooms/areas Mattress, kitchen utensils, messy cupboards/drawers, internet connection in living room/TV
- BORA (10/5): Perfect experience for Athens - The location was very central, with easy access to the metro and easy walking distance to popular restaurants and areas. The house was very comfortable. House owner Konstantinos helped us online for any questions promptly. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, bar and Acropolis view from the balcony.

- Joetta (10/5): View from balcony and elevator to the 6th floor was wonderful. - The location and view make up for the dated and broken furniture. The apartment has a lot of room, and is a nice place to stay for a travel companion and self wanting some space while traveling. The living room needs more comfortable sitting, and sofa needs cleaning. The rocker is a bad look considering there isn’t a bottom in it. The twin bed did not have linens on it and was hard as a rock, and could not be used for sleeping. Just because two people reserved the room, doesn’t mean they sleep in the same bed. The view from the balcony was outstanding and worth the price. The kitchen was fully stocked and very useful, especially for a 4 day stay. Communication was very good, and I would recommend the place for a couple sleeping in the same bed, but not for two individuals sleeping separate. Smelly sofa, and hard mattress on twin bed.
- Alesha (9/5): Fantastic stay for our family of four! - The view, the terrace, the location Nothing
- Dimitri (9/5): Great location and comfortable stay. Pretty view. -
- Kate (5/5): Brilliant location but basic accommodation. - Excellent location. Fantastic balcony with Acropolis view. Spacious room. Instructions on how to get keys, WiFi and sort hot water very clear. Unfortunately whilst quirky (retro) in decor, the place needs some maintenance and TLC. Looking at previous reviews a lot of issues remain unresolved for a long while… ( broken toilet seat!) Very firm bed, thin single pillow meant a very poor night’s sleep. Requested extra pillows and although promised for next day they never arrived. Dirty crockery from previous visitors.
- Leigh (9/5): Loved location, the view and comfortability of the apartment - The view from the terrace is amazing Decor is dated but adds to the charm
- Kickirillo (9/5): Efficient and well placed - Great location and amazing view! It has everything you need! You can see straight into the bathroom from the main room and there isn’t a curtain so there’s not any privacy when you’re using the bathroom.

- hayley (8/5): Overall a great place to stay. - Excellent location, photos on booking.com are accurate. We didn’t have a kettle in the room but was quickly rectified once we asked. Some maintenance is required as mentioned in other reviews. My husband fixed the shower head bracket and the bar stool during our stay. I would encourage the fixing of at least the toilet seat. Management was hard to get a response in the beginning but once his colleague took over response times were excellent.

- Petar (9/5): Beautiful Acropolis view in a local neighbourhood - The apartment is spacious, clean, charming and has a beautiful view of the local church, rooftops and the Acropolis, which is really mesmerizing. There are a lot of small details in the apartment that are in retro style, adding to the charm of the property. The bed is comfortable, kitchen and bathroom are very nice. I was greeted with selection of coffee pods and even a local complimentary drink was waiting. The location is superb, close to the city centre but still tucked in a quiet street and hip neighbourhood. Really worth the money if you want to feel like really living there for a few days. Getting the keys was the only big problem with this accomodation, as the owner did not send me information on how to enter when I booked the property. At the end, I was waiting in front of the building for quite some time before he sent me the message with the needed information to enter. I learned that the host was traveling abroad, but still I believe I should have received the information days before I arrived. Hopefully this does not happen often. However, the host was kind and pleasant in communication.
Also, I wish the apartment had a proper wardrobe. There is a closed wardrobe, but no shelves inside and filled with some old stuff. So there isnt any place to put your clothes other than the couch. I suggest the owner to clean this space and put a few shelves inside, this would really make the accomodation perfect!
- Ηρω (10/5): Relaxed, Lux, urban-like, comfort, perfect! - I enjoyed this apartment beyond expectations! My favourite is the tub in the balcony with the amazing view of acropolis! It´s very cleaned and cozy! The communication with th ehost excellent!
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - The property was large and very spacious with the best balcony I’ve ever had with lots of comfortable places to sit outside all day and a view of the Acropolis and the mountains in the distance. In the living room there is a smart TV which you can use for Netflix and YouTube.
The host Dimitris was very helpful and greeted us on check in, he gave us a lot of very good recommendations of places to go and thinks to do in Athens and would reply on WhatsApp quickly if I had any questions.
- Tasha (6/5): Great Location - The location and the view are fantastic! The host communication was limited and only occured when I reached out via WhatsApp. Some items within the apartment were dirty. The showerhead was broken and there was no dedicated place for our belonings.
- Lorena (8/5): Great Stay - Location was great. close to shopping area, metro station and lots of great restaurants. The view from terrace was great! the bathroom needs a little of maintenance, but everything else was great.
- Kristaps (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dianne (5/5): Lovely view but not good value for money. - View from the spacious balcony Furnishings and apartment quite dated. Wire from ceiling to flush the toilet.
Not told about renovation works from 0800 - 1500 until arrival. Drilling on day after arrival was so loud we couldn’t hear each other speak!
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - A spacious studio decorated with style. Excellent location close to Psirri Square and near Monastiraki metro station. Beautiful view to the square and church below, and to Acropolis from the balcony. Some trouble with hot water but it was fixed fast.
- Nicole (7/5): Small but nice apartment. Hot water is a button in the breaker box! - Very easy to check in and check out. The location was really great, with all the restaurants at the end of the street, lots of music at them, and a quick walk to Monastiraki square. Also really loved having an elevator in the building for luggage and just generally being tired at the end of the day. The view from the balcony was beautiful, lovely church across the street (Enjoy the bells early Sunday morning!) and a really great view of the acropolis. And loved having the coffee machine in the morning. Good for singles or couples, bathroom doesn't have a lot of privacy. I'd definitely stay in that area again though. We went a few days without hot water thinking it was just a limited supply for the building, when we finally decided to ask about it, we found out there was a button on the breaker panel that the host forgot to tell us about. That first cold shower was a killer. It was generally quiet but one night there was some extremely loud music and drunk people in the street, I'm not sure why because other days over the weekend weren't loud. And the rolling shutter was broken so the light entered very early.
- Emeri (7/5): Good - I loved the central location of the accommodation. The view of the Acropolis and the bustling cafes nearby was absolutely delightful. Additionally, I greatly appreciated the host's prompt and friendly responses throughout my stay. The place lacked cleanliness and tranquility. Dirty surfaces, particularly noticeable in the kitchen and bathroom, were a concern, with even someone else's hair visible on the kitchen counter. Additionally, the bathroom's toilet seat was broken, and the shower failed to drain properly, leaving water pooled even the next morning. Moreover, the sound insulation was poor, allowing clear transmission of noises from the neighbours and outdoors. For instance, the sound of the elevator or the closing of a neighbour's door, as well as footsteps from upstairs, could be heard quite distinctly.
- Amado (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dragos (10/5): Nice place, with nice view - It is situated in the middle of the town, you have everything around also Monastiraki metro station is really close. The balcony has an amazing view.
- Ankit (2/5): Great location...everything else is just deplorable - Amazing location..everything is at a stone's throw away. Except the location everything was woeful.
The sheets were not clean.
The AC in the living room barely worked.
Not enough toiletries. If someone is paying more than 200 euros a night they expect to get basic facilities.
The WiFi was super slow after a day.
The washing machine was filthy and barely worked.
The dishwasher was broken. We washed all our dishes ourselves.
We stayed for 7 nights and were glad to leave the place.
- Michael (7/5): Good - Location was awesome and the staff was helpful with taxis. The shower head was broken so we showered with a hose type end. The French doors were awesome but the blind didn’t work making it hard to nap or feel like we had privacy. We informed staff of the issue but these were not addressed during our stay.
- Jodie (9/5): Lovely location, breezy apartment with great view - Location, gorgeous layout and balcony views were great Air conditioner didn’t work particularly well
- Doppiap (5/5): Passable - Location near nice area, close to monasteriaki and view. Host did his best to help our stay, tried to fix aircon issues and was flexible for the checkout, communication was easy. Old appartment, old air con not effective, bedroom bed very uncomfortable with useless pillows... overall apartment should be properly renewed...! And aircon revisited for summer nights which gets very hot!
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Maris (9/5): Superb - Location is superb and cannot be beat. Opposite a beautiful church on a quieter side street off the main drag in Psyrri which was very central - could walk anywhere. Apartment was a good size and comfortable with a stunning balcony and view of the Acropolis. Pics don’t do this justice at all. We ran out of hot water and the lift stopped working. But overall it was an amazing place to stay in Athens.
- Pranav (10/5): Very spacious apartment in the Psyri neighborhood, which has a vibrant nightlife with lots of restaurants and bars. Exc - Great location in the Psyri neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment is very spacious with a large balcony and jet spa. The host, Dmitri was helpful and accommodating with our early arrival. Not much. Maybe that it was a little pricey, but then again summer in Athens in a prime location, it has to be expected. The photos in the listing versus the actual view of the Acropolis from balcony is a bit deceptive. It’s not as close as they make it seem. But it is visible in the distance.
- Loukas (8/5): Very good -
- Charlotte (7/5): Nice balcony but needs improvements - Balcony and view are great. Location is great.
Good communication via WhatsApp. Needs more furniture for hanging clothes and putting your things somewhere; the room is very bare.
The light in the stairwell doesn't work/ doesn't stay on long enough so we ended up going up the 4 flights of stairs in the dark.
More blankets would be appreciated.
Bed isn't very comfy and pillows are rubbish.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Lenia (9/5): Superb - the property was in an amazing location and the view from the balcony was phenomenal! My partner and I didn’t want to leave! We loved everything about the apartment but extra pillows would have made the stay more comfortable.
- Ehud (3/5): bad experience - location bed was terrible . bathroom was terrible . No blinds to the window..
- Schauta (9/5): Superb -
- Ivanka (9/5): Superb - The view and the location are excellent. The flat should be more clean. Besides, there were no closets, hangers, chests of drawers, absolutely nothing to unpack things !
- Bush (7/5): I'm here for the Honey! - The hot tub on the balcony with that view is a pretty nice spot to kick back.. The electrical problems in the apartment..
- Bush (7/5): Great balcony view, with ample living space.. - The View is incredible.. great balcony to hang out on and relax.. very nice space.. The apartment has wet wall electrical problems, the vibes of the apartment are extremely cold..
- Jean (9/5): Superb -
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable appartment, with a balcony that has an amazing view on the acropolis.
- Dana (10/5): Exceptional - perfect location, safe street.
