• QIN (10/5): Highly recommend! We'd love to come back next time. - Great location. The accommodation is situated in Plaka Old Town, within easy reach of all attractions and close to the Acropolis. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, it is an ideal place to stay for exploring Athens. The rooms are spacious, clean and modernly furnished, fully equipped with everything you need. The staff are also very easy to communicate with. Here's the only downside. The shower area is quite small, and the shower curtain tends to stick to you while bathing, which is a bit uncomfortable. Everything else is excellent.

• arseven (10/5): Şehrin tam merkezinde , her saatte rahatça eve geliyor olmak harika - Oldukça temizdi, konumu harikaydı. Şehrin göbeğinde her yerin eve çıkar olması süper bir şey. Odada çamaşır makinesi, kahve makinesi ve büyük bir buzdolabı mevcut. Çöp poşetlerinin yedeklerine kadar düşünülmüştü. Yazışmalara çok hızlı dönüş yapıyorlar . Keyifli bir yer kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Sıcak su için biraz beklemesek daha iyi olur :)
• Oonagh (10/5): Fantastic Stay in a Perfect Athens Location - We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Athens. The location was excellent—perfectly situated for exploring the city—and the apartment itself was beautiful, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Really minor, but an extra set of towels for the five day stay would have been appreciated.
• Jing (9/5): Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, especially for the location and friendly host. - Overall a very pleasant stay. The host was extremely helpful and responsive, which made everything easy from check-in to departure. The location is excellent and it offers good value for money. The only minor drawbacks were that the hot water takes about 30 minutes to heat up after switching it on, and the bathroom is a bit on the small side.
• Marc (5/5): Spaceous but could use more attention to comfort. - Location was nice and the apartment is spaceous with two full sized beds. The bathroom was pretty bad. Any serious use of water meant the drain in the middle overflowed. You had to turn on the boiler 30m in advance of showering, and it automatically shut down when you left or over time. If you forgot or were in a hurry in the morning you only had cold water. The bed is hard, noisy, pillows were not great and the design means you easily stub your toes. No lounging area: you can only sit on the bed or at the table. One bedroom (also the dining area) is only accessible through the other bedroom.

• Engin (9/5): Memnun kaldık tekrar tercih edebilirim. - Yeri çok güzeldi, yürüyerek her noktya rahatlıkla ulaşılanilecek bir noktada, tavan yüksekliğinin fazla olması odayı çok geniş hissettiriyor. Gerekli malzemeler mevcutdu. Banyosu ve banyodaki duş alanı odaya göre küçük kalmış ama kullanışlı.

• Adriana (10/5): Muy cómodo y bien equipado. - Tiene una excelente ubicación, a muy pocas calles de la dos plazas principales: Sintagma y Monastiraki. Se llega caminando a la Acrópolis y al monte Licabeto. El apartamento es muy cómodo y está muy bien equipado. Todo estuvo muy bien. Quizás un color más claro en las paredes ayudaría a aumentar la luminosidad, pero son detalles menores y no afectaron una estadía muy placentera.

Все чисто и удобно, в квартире есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Локация просто идеальная для отдыха на 3-4 дня - в непосредственной близости главные достопримечательности, магазины, рестораны и развлечения. Когда вернемся в Афины - остановимся с удовольствием. Однозначно рекомендую!
• VR61 (8/5): - La posizione centrale è ottima per gli spostamenti verso tutti i luoghi d'interesse storico/culturale. Visto il nostro soggiorno molto lungo ( due settimane), avremmo gradito un cambio biancheria - lenzuola e asciugamani - in più. E' auspicabile un miglior isolamento degli infissi, visto il rumore esterno di alcuni condizionatori.

The apartment is by a busy and vibrant walking street that leads to Parthenon but that didn't matter. It was peaceful and felt safe in the evening and energetic during the day. Perfect! -

• Shahad (8/5): - The location is perfect. Safe & within walking distance to most major landmarks. The perfect area to stay in Athens. The apartment is lovely and spacious for 2 people. It wasn't clean. There were several tiny flying bugs in the bathroom, it was honestly annoying. I also found a piece of hair in the shower wall upon arrival, makes me wonder if it was cleaned at all before I checked in. Paying that value including a cleaning fee, I would expect it to be better than this.

• lorraine (7/5): Lovely central apartment but take ear plugs - Great location, good facilities, modern and clean Noise levels- the fridge started making a loud noise at night and there was no door on the kitchen to deaden the noise coming in to the bedroom, the sound proofing from other flats was not good, a neighbour was loudly moving around at 3 in the morning - I didn’t get any sleep here

• Jason (9/5): Wonderful location for Athens sightseeing - Exceptional location for first time visitors to Athens. Easy to get around from on foot. Host communications were excellent and friendly e.g. accommodating a late check in and an early check out and arranging transfers to air / seaports. Very quiet area despite being so central. If you're a light sleeper you might be disturbed by the freezer in the kitchen periodically managing its temperature; this could be mitigated by taking ear buds. The filter coffee maker didn't work because it is missing a part that enables it to drip filtered coffee through; lots of coffee shops in close vicinity though. If you wanted to watch television the reception was very poor.

The ceiling is thin and so you can hear every step above you , the facilities are very basic , no dovet available, shower is tiny , and it’s almost street level so you have to keep the curtains closed for privacy Coffee machine but no capsules and the list is long It represents a terrible value for money and I have stated in Athens many times It’s a good place if you are looking for a basic budget accommodation . If fact we booked two nights but left after 1 night and mover to a far superior accommodation for less money

• Teresa (10/5): A lovely apartment in a perfect location - Ideally situated in Plaka, close to the Acropolis, this apartment is in an oldish building but has been elegantly and tastefully refurbished and has everything you could need for a stay. It is very comfortable and (because it is in a small side street) quiet at night. The management provided plenty of helpful information before check in. The apartment is also very good value for this area. An outstanding experience.

The kitchen is well-equipped The apartment is divided into two rooms, however they are not separated by a door, so there isn't really privacy in the master bedroom.

Perfect location. - Location was 10-15 to acropolis. 7 minutes to the Syntagma square where the guards are changed. 6 minutes to Monstraki. Close to everything. Even a supermarket just 300 metre away. We felt very safe in the area. You can tell Plaka area is a good area compared to other areas.The keys were easily accessible in the lock box. Just need to remember to watch the video of how to access the key box and open the first door as you need to scan the swipe card then open with the key. It’s a good double feature. Maybe a different room with a bit more of a view as we were in a room that the windows over looked other places. However, we weren’t in the room that much to need a better view.

Dodatkowym atutem był piękny zapach. Zdecydowanie mogłabym tam wrócić!

• Ludmila (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is located 1 minute walk from the Cathedral of Athens, 5 minutes from Monastiraki Square, 5 minutes to the parliament, everything is really within walking distance. The Acropolis, old streets are nearby. The apartment is clean, the kitchen had sunflower oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, sugar, for which special thanks to the owner. The bed is comfortable, we slept well, lots of pillows, air conditioners worked well, it was still cool at night. There is a grocery store 100 m away, restaurants and cafes started at 40 m, but the street is quiet, calm, no noise was heard. just one piece of advice: hang a curtain in the shower.😃

At first, I thought I didn't know how to open the building's door, but it turned out there was an issue with the card reader. Additionally, the AC in the bedroom was a bit noisy, though it didn't affect my overall comfort. Despite these minor issues, the stay was still great.

• Marta (8/5): Very good - My husband, two children and I stay in the apartment and it was good for our stay! The host gave us detailed instructions for checking in and answer the messages fast! The rooms are comfortable, and cleaned, and even had a washing machine. The location is great, close to all other touristic area. The only downside for me, was that the check in and check out was not flexible. We needed to pay to stash our bags until the 3pm check in time as it was the earliest the host allowed us to get to the apartment. The host provided the address of the place we could stash our bags after 10 hours flight. If the host were more flexible for the check in and check out, our stay in Athens could had been perfect.

• Bianca (10/5): Comfortable for couples in a perfect location - Excellent location. We felt safe and were close to the main tourist attractions. There's a coffee machine in the kitchen, but we didn't use it because you can buy delicious coffee at Warehouse Assemblage, which is less than 100 meters away. The air conditioning works perfectly, even during a heat wave. The apartment is very pretty and comfortable in general. We would definitely stay again. You must remember to turn the shower heater on.

• Cintia (9/5): Comfy week in Athens - The bed is big and comfy, the shower is hot and relaxing, the location is great, many little stores, very near to the Parthenon 🏛️ many restaurants and Greek food around, cathedrals, monuments, you can go walking, the apartment is silent, the kitchen has everything you need. Nasos gave us coffee, sugar, coffee filters, and all the staff to prepare your meals like oil, salt and pepper. Is worth it! We loved! The apartment has no view at all. But we knew it.
• Agnieszka (5/5): Apartment - Honest and Reflective Feedback. - The location is fantastic, safe, and commutable distance to everything required, the train station is nearby, 8 minute walk through the markets which is nice. Any queries were dealt with promptly and the assistant who came to do the repairs, Panos, was nice, polite, and efficient with his work too. We requested a 12pm check-out of the apartment and this was kindly granted which we highly appreciated. Overall, this review was to provide a honest and reflective account so you know what to expect, the apartment owner and his assistant, Panos were great and location fantastic but given our overall experience and after much deliberation we have subsequently rated the apartment as satisifactory but if you are okay with the feedback and improvements suggested, as detailed in this review, then it will come as highly recommeded. The Heating didn't work depsite having it on full heating setting so it was cold during the night but Panos repaired it the next day, it was then working fine throughout duration of our stay, good guy, super efficient. Shower was too small, the shower curtain sticks to you whilst having a shower and due to the lack of room even putting the shower cream on was an awkward experience. The front door got stuck a few times when trying to open it but Panos advised when he came to fix the heating to overcome this initally when you hear the buzzer to the door, turn the key within 15 seconds of that noise but having tried that, as a work around, turning the key within 5 seconds seemed to work better as the door otherwise would get stuck so there is somewhat of a time limit to doing this, worth noting, should you stay there. On arrival, we were advised, in Greece, you cannot flush toilet paper in the toilet due to the ancient plumbing system so the custom is to throw it in the bin, that's something that should have been highlighted on the description section on the accomodation. Furthermore, there should be a process for hygiene purposes where a cleaner, at minimum, every 2 days, should empty the toilet bin, not only when you check-out of the accomodation. The walls and ceiling are thin so you can hear the neighbours if they make a lot of noise, on the first night, the apartment above were celebrating after a night out which is all good, they were enjoying themselves came but you could clearly hear it; however, when we informed the apartment owner the next day, they promptly contacted the neigbours and it was much improved, thankfully.

• John (10/5): Excellent location, good facilities, good host - Excellent location. Quiet, traffic-free street with no bars or restaurants. Apartment is spacious and light. The windows of apartment 'A' lookout to the rear of the property so no view as such, but the apartment is not overlooked and it makes for a quiet stay. Good security. Good appliances, including airconditioning in both the sitting and sleeping areas. Tip: remember to turn on the hot water 15min before showering! Coffee was provided, which is always nice. Very good communication and helpfulness from the host.

The owner has clearly made the most of their location, but the flat is well furnished and clean, so I would strongly recommend that this is a good place to stay I actually don’t think anything could have been better. The flag was lovely, the host communicated well and the location was fab. The fact that booking.com make you put negatives when there is none is a bit of a joke.

Everything exactly as in the pictures. We loved the location and ease of check in. Walk to everything, in a busy area but down a quiet street. Host arranged smooth transfer for us from the airport and allowed us an early check in, meeting us at the property. Unfortunately on our stay the noise from neighbours. The floors and ceilings carried sound, we were woken both nights by loud thumping and running, on stairs or floor above us, very little external noise but very loud internal noise.

Lucky for me, they had a cancelation. It had a washing machine and was very large, Shower was amazing and bed very comfortable. I will book it next year when I come back if it's available.

• Daphna (9/5): Very nice apartment, great location and very nice host. - Perfect location, a few minutes walk to Ermou Street, 10 minutes walk to Monasteraki Square and 15 minutes walk to Acropolis. The apartment was just like in the pictures and the host was very responsive for all we needed. There was a leak in the bathroom which took 3 days until they would come and fix it and then the hours that the technician could come didn`t suit us as we were out, so it wasn`t fixed during our stay. It was a bit inconvenient but all the rest of the experience in the apartment was very good.
