- Rob (6/5): Great location - Knowing nothing about Athens, the location seemed excellent. We were walking distance from the spots I wanted to visit. There is a full-sized fridge, something I usually don't find when travelling. We had a good breakfast at Zampano, on the opposite corner of the same block. We got in without a reservation but we saw people after us get turned away. On our last morning, we found two ticks on our bed: one alive, one dead. Thankfully, neither were attached to us. I'm not sure where they came from; the room was clean and appeared to be pest-free, other than a mosquito or two that we probably let in. There is a patio upstairs that we could use but there were far too many mosquitos for us to be comfortable. The shower gets the bathroom floor wet but this is common in Greece. The squeegee on a stick helped minimise the mess. Guests may want to bring flipflops. We were shown how to turn on the water heater and then told they want it off the rest of the time. I suggest they charge a couple euros more per night and leave it on all of the time.
- Wietse (1/5): BEDBUGS - BEDBUGS!! We stayed here on the 2nd of september 2022 and found out at night (23:00) that the place was crawling with bedbugs. they were all over the wall around the bed, in the bed and in the pillowcases. I rang the owner to report this and he just said: oh, sorry, try to sleep at the hotel across the street.... No help at all from the owners even though they own 35(!!) apartments in Athens. We found another hotel ourselves and stayed there the rest of the days. We got our refund the next day and the owner promised he would get an expert in and keep the place closed for 4 days, but I have no way to check if this happened. So if you book here be sure to check thoroughly and ask the owners what they did to clean the apartment.
