Rundherum viele Restaurants und Cafes sowie Bars Sehr nah an einer Ubahnstation (Hat man aber kaum gebraucht weil alles zu fuß ging Hinweis: Treppen sehr schmal wenn man mobil eingeschränkt ist keine ideale Unterkunft

• Javier (7/5): Buena ubicación - La ubicación y la facilidad para el check in. Aunque había ruido, no me pareció para tanto. Y para las 00:00 bajaba mucho el barullo. Si el ruido te molesta, recomiendo llevar tapones. Que no se pudieran abrir las cortinas porque desde fuera se ve todo y está a una altura de un primer piso. El hecho de que la cama esté elevada, hace que sea un poco incómodo, pero eso ya lo esperaba por los comentarios de huéspedes anteriores.

• Cristian (4/5): Dezamăgitor - Locația aproape de metrou. Lenjeria de pat si prosoapele erau curate. A fost foarte murdar peste tot, pânză de păianjeni pe pereți. Chicineta este impracticabila. Capul de dus era spart, și pe modul ploaie și pe normal. Patul era pus pe o platforma suspendata, trebuia sa urci pe niște scări oribile ca sa ajungi acolo. Se auzea gălăgie mare de pe strada ca și cum nu erau închise geamurile. Prin draperii trecea lumina și nu făceau întuneric în camera

• Anna (5/5): Confort solo sulla posizione - La posizione fantastica vetrata enorme (con tende poco oscurarti che consiglio di non aprire mai) che dava sulla strada per fortuna non principale ma comunque passava gente, anche a ore tarde e il posto non è per niente insonorizzato quindi la maggior parte delle volte ci svegliamo durante la notte. Le nostre aspettative non erano altissime visto il prezzo e la posizione quindi so se volte un posto solo per dormici e farvi una doccia è il posto giusto però ecco non aspettatevi sonni tranquilli

• ariel (4/5): - La ubicación es buena, todo te queda cerca Manolis, el anfitrión fue buena onda, No coinciden las fotos con el estado actual del departamento. Cuando llegamos, el lugar estaba sucio: había pelos por todos lados y superficies pegajosas. Los platos deben lavarse en la pileta del baño, justo al lado del inodoro, ya que no hay una cocina real. El colchón está directamente en el piso, sin cama ni elástico. El microondas estaba sucio y pegoteado, igual que las mesas y las mesadas. El piso siempre quedaba mojado, y aunque el agua salía a buena temperatura, la ducha estaba rota: el agua salía por cualquier lado menos por los orificios de la regadera. Yo siempre llevo mi propia esponja y trapo porque estos lugares suelen tener lo justo, pero en este caso los elementos de limpieza estaban en muy mal estado. Además, no había escobillón, secador ni otros artículos básicos para mantener el lugar en condiciones mínimas. Estuvimos tres noches y sinceramente no hubiésemos podido quedarnos más. Si tu estadía es muy breve y nada de esto te molesta, entonces puede que este sea tu lugar ideal.

• Łukasz (6/5): - The property's location deserves the highest praise—it is excellent and provides easy access to key points in the city. A major advantage is also the large and comfortable bed. Additionally, the air conditioning worked flawlessly and effectively maintained a comfortable temperature. Considering the attractive price for the accommodation, the property has significant potential. The biggest issues proved to be plumbing defects: the toilet was leaking throughout the stay, which was uncomfortable and unhygienic. The situation was exacerbated by the fact that the bathroom sink was clogged upon arrival. This defect was particularly troublesome in the context of the atypical kitchenette arrangement, which, being located in the hallway, did not have its own sink. The lack of a functional sink in the bathroom made washing dishes extremely difficult and virtually impossible to carry out under normal circumstances. The sound insulation is exceptionally poor—despite tightly closed windows, the noise from outside was loud and disturbed the peace, especially due to the close proximity of a restaurant.

Host was informative, away from the main bustle of Monastiraki. Quite small, but fine for 2/3 nights, we knew it was a studio flat so no surprises .

• Amanda (8/5): - Ótima localização para andar a pé e explorar o centro de Atenas! Foi possível fazer o check-in um pouco mais cedo. O studio é pequeno porém confortável. As cortinas não escurecem muito o apartamento. O chuveiro precisa ser ajustado para melhorar a saída de água.

• Katia (8/5): Posizione top - La struttura ha una posizione centrale, da cui è possibile raggiungere in poco tempo a piedi tutti i punti di interesse. La stanza ha un piccolo angolo cottura e un frigorifero. L'host è stato molto gentile, ci ha permesso di effettuare il check in anticipo perché la stanza era già pronta e ci ha fatto anche lasciare i bagagli dopo il check out poiché il nostro volo era nel pomeriggio. Inoltre nella stanza abbiamo trovato un cartello con consigli utili sui ristoranti, supermercati e bar che abbia molto apprezzato.

• Oğuz (1/5): Dirty room with bedbugs - On 2. day of our 5-day accomodation, we were attacked by bedbugs in the room, they bit our all body and we had a terrible allergic reaction. We packed our things immediately and checked out, left the room and had to find a new hotel. The room was generally not clean and old. The remaining days of our holiday were spent looking for hospitals and pharmacies...
• Rodney (8/5): Good value and best location you can stay in Athens.45 mins from airport on metro - This studio is in an amazing location. It’s cheap for the location so keep this in mind. I travelled alone so it was perfect for me. The studio is modern and compact. The bed is really comfortable and I loved the bathroom as it’s clean and good water pressure. My only criticism is that it had no iron although it advertised it had as an iron. The studio has no safety deposit box or tv so keep this in mind. The studio need a bit of paint to spruce it up although the owner as good interior design taste as it beautifully designed and. furnished. I would have given this property a higher score if the air con had worked as it was blowing out hot air. I would def stay again if the air con worked. There was free coffee and the kitchenette facilities are snalll however you. Don’t need to cook as you have everything on your door step food and bards everywhere close. The restaurant next door is amazing abs the food is delicious abs spent my birthday night there and was memorable with live music. Fairy lights and water fountains. If u looking for a cost effective accommodation In the centre of Athens it’s a perfect choice. It’s also close to the tourist sights and mobstrilaki is one of the best areas to stay in if you want to eat and hey merry. No iron and air con not working

• Carey (4/5): Great value for money and amazing location, but too noisy for sleep from 7am - The location is 10/10 The decor of the bed area is modern and attractive The bed was very comfortable and towels were big and fluffy Noise....the studio literally sits above a garage...from 7am each morning the mechanised garage door opening/closing was incredibly loud, and even with earplugs sleep was impossible. The studio is also next to an open air restaurant, which on Friday and Saturday evenings is really noisy - again earplugs were invaluable

Walking distance to the main tourist attractions, restaurants and train station. It can get pretty noisy from the nightlife on Friday/Saturday nights, if you want to sleep before midnight I’d recommend ear plugs.

• Fanni (5/5): I wouldn’t recommend it for more than two nights. - The location was nice, and the bed and bathroom were comfortable. The apartment was very dirty, the countertop and the stovetop were filthy and there were cobwebs. As someone with asthma and allergies, I really didn’t appreciate it. You cannot let air in the room properly, since there is no normal sized window. The garage door below the apartment is extremely loud - and I’m not a light sleeper…
• Cassandra (4/5): Disappointing - - The personal was kind - The location was near the center Monastiraki - There were a lot of spider webs, dust. - The room wasn’t there, the bed was lying on a wood plank and there was a rope to fix the bed. - The stairs were really moving it wasn’t safe if you are not confortable with hights. - You can hear all the noise like you were outside during the night.
• Glenn (7/5): Location was fantastic and perfect for those who are chilled. Friendly hosts and communicative. - It was an excellent location. Very close to everything. The only downside was that there was a bit of noise from local business at night. If you were are a light sleeper, I would consider elsewhere. We managed to sleep fine. If you are physically challenged, it probably wouldn't be the place for you.. the bed is raised off the floor and has some steps to navigate. In the middle of the night, potentially dangerous.. but manageable.

The location wasn't really soundproof. It was quite noisy. Especially with the restaurants and bars being nearby, you keep hearing people throughout the night.
• Susan (8/5): Great value for money at a top location! - The location is amazing, very safe and close to lovely streets with restaurants. Very authentic Athens. The studio is tiny but complete. The host is very very good. Reacts quickly when you need him, can’t ask for more. It would have been nice to have something to hang clothes since we had some insects in our suitcases on the floor. The stairs to the bed could be a bit more secure.
• Daniele (10/5): A cute studio flat in the heart of Athens. - The studio flat we booked for our stay in Athens was comfortable and well equipped. It comprised of a ground floor and a mezzanine where the bed was located. If you're looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of the city, then look no further: this property is located only five minutes walk from Monastiraki Station. The property itself is in a vibrant zone full of restaurants and café. Manolis was an excellent host, he even kept our luggage safe, allowing us to have a last strolling around the city. Fully recommended!

• Ailbhe (5/5): Very basic and substandard but cheap and central - Excellent location and very easy check-in/check-out process, very communicative host. Cheap price. Very very small studio, central location meant there was some noise at night but that is to be expected. The room wasn't particularly clean, facilities in the kitchen are incredibly basic, you could just about boil a kettle and make maybe at most a sandwich. Bathroom was tiny, you couldn't move around properly, no shelf space, and open drain in both the bathroom and shower meant there was a constant unpleasant smell. Unsteady steep spiral stairs leading up to bed are definitely a safety concern. "Bed" is also a generous term for a mattress on the floor.

We were out and about most of the time, so really only needed a place to sleep, shower and keep out belongings safe. A great use of a small space When we had an issue Manolis sorted it straight away. • Panagiota (1/5): Terrible experience - The refund The "room" was smelling musty. We were disappointed. Very dirty. We cannot even slept there and go "up" to the bed the stairs were in the "air" was not fixed on the wall. Maybe that room before was storage.

Good communication with the host who sent instructions about the check in-procedures and what we need to know. The apt was very small for 2 and ok for the 2 days we spent there but maybe not more. The kitchen was not a real kitchen, had a cookingplate but no sink. Ok for making a easy sandwich maybe but not so much more. But we get what we paid for so we was not disappointed.
• Dushyant (1/5): Massive security risk here. Our rooms were broken into and our passports were stolen. - Our rooms were robbed and passports were stolen. There is NO CCTV at the property so there was nothing we could do, and on top of that the owner provided no help at all (which is suspicious by itself). I would not recommend staying here.

• Angeliki (6/5): Enjoyed it for the first time, not to be repeated for my taste - The host is a super host! Manolos was very helpful plus allowed me to leave my suitcases there as I was catching a very late flight. He responded immediately to a power cut that didn't last long. The location is brilliant! The previous guest had long black straight hair. I shouldn't know that... I am not sure what the cleaning person does apart from the toilet and sheets, it is not clean especially for an after covid era. When the garage door of the building opens at 7am you have a heart attack.
• Martyna (8/5): Very good - The localization is perfect. Close to all points of interest. It is quite loud - a restaurant is directly next to the apartment. There is a garage opening engine that is located directly under the apartment ( bed...). It makes a terrible noise.

• Sourav (8/5): Nice place for a short trip - Fabulous location. Psiri’s numerous restaurants, taverns and bars are literally around the corner. Monastiraki and Acropolis are easily walkable. Convenient checkin process, even late at night The bathroom and toilet are really tiny, and somewhat basic Room fixtures are a bit dated.
• Vagabonde (6/5): Super great location! - Location is amazing! The apartment located in the center of what you need in Athens. Just change one street to have fun, reach historical places and nice bars+taverns. The host is responsive and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy. Air conditioning and wi-fi work well. The apartment can be improved. Should be more clean and comfortable. All curtains (including shower curtain) must be changed. And also pretty noisy. Preferable for price/performance. It's okey for short stays.

• Frandea (10/5): Contemporary building combined with a traditional setting - The apartment was nice with a great position inside the most vibrant neighbourhood in Athens. The owners made sure everything was clean and tidy and the communication with them was very easy and pleasant. The building was contemporary and the layout of the apartment made the experience very unique. It is close to many great dining places and places to go out but not at all noisy. Sometimes there would be some delightful music from the dining place next to the building

• Nik (9/5): Good apartment in city centre to explore the city - Location as well as value for money was really good. Host was also helpful when we contacted him. To check in, host sends you code to a locker with the key in advance, so there is no waiting for anyone when you arrive. Noises from the street can be heard, but that didn't really bother me, just some loud scooters were annoying every now and then. Which I can't say for the garage door under the apartment which really was loud. Luckily they move it only a few times a day.

Apartment had basic facilities with amazing price. Wifi was a bit slow and the room was noisy. If staying for more than two days, bring your own shampoo.

• Maria (6/5): Pleasant - Super centrally located place, comfortable bed(mattress on the floor) There is no ventilation or windows on the whole place therefore the heavy smell of humidity was there. The towels were not drying unless you put them for hours in front of the airco. I was expecting the noise as it is right in the heart of a very busy area but the glass all around and the very thin(not secure) door, was bringing in all the discussions from the rest residents on the building (ground level and semi basement studio) when they were coming in/out. Also, the plug next to bed was broken /fully detached from the wall. Not ideal to use it..

• David (9/5): Excelente ubicación - Excellent location. In the bohemian neighborhood of Psiri, which is better than Plaka. The good thing is that in front of the lodging there are no tables and you can sleep peacefully.

• Ece (10/5): Felt like home for a few days - 1. Incredible location, close to many attractions, restaurants, and nightlife. 2. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, wifi was great. Little kitchen area was very useful with all utensils and a mini fridge. Air conditioner was great especially in summer time when it's 27-28 Celcius at night. 3. The host was living next door, it was really nice to be able to ask questions when needed. 4. Even though the location felt a little bit unsafe from the photos and the fact that it is in the middle of nightlife, it was very safe (even when walking back to the room at 2 am). Hopefully I will be back in Athens in the future, I would definitely stay here again. Only three things: 1. The bathroom can be updated, it was clean and convenient but the paint on the wall was chipping. 2. My room was probably 1 or 2 meters higher from the street level and the facade is all windows, so I had to keep the curtains closed all the time and the windows cannot be opened, but air conditioner was great so it was not really a big problem. 3. The room is definitely not soundproof. You can hear people calmly talking on the street, you can hear the host opening the garage door. I was ok with the noise but if you are a light sleeper, this can be a big problem.

• Anja (3/5): If you don't have problems to go every time up/down and plan to stay 1night it is ok not for more - Location is great in the city center you can go by walk everywhere, you have parking just across the street it's 15€ a day. Host was very kind, he came for us when we couldn't find the accommodation, because some of the streets were closed or showing one direction way which in real is not like that. Pictures are not like in real, he probably have several flats that rents and we got the worst, if there are more flats for rent than there was no option to choose which flat you prefer to book. The temperature in flat was veryyy high because the flat is complete in glass and AC couldn't cool us at all. Sound isolation is very bad, as near from here are lot of bars and night life is very busy you can hear people and music late at night, also you can hear all your neighbors. Bed is actually just madras and stairs that lead you to the bed are very dangerous and unstable if you need to go down by night. When you entering the flat doors are on the ground floor and than you can go down (underground) for kitchen and toilet and up for bed. Also we saw couple of bugs.
