Departamento sucio, roto, una sola sábana individual para dos personas y con quemaduras de cigarrillo, sin jabón o shampoo, sin pava eléctrica, secador de pelo, platos o vasos, y sólo una luz del techo enciende. El ascensor no anda, la calle inmunda, oscura y con personas drogándose literalmente en la puerta. Los vecinos de otros departamentos viven con la puerta abierta, hacen ruido y fuman en el pasillo. El dueño no respondió las llamadas ni mensajes solicitando el departamento que pagamos.

• Kyprianos (6/5): Renovated apartment but BAD service - Good position, right next to Metaxourgio tube station. The apartment was new and renovated,it looked quite good! No facilities provided! No forks / knives to eat with, short of plates, no chairs or table available! Also the towels were never changed during our stay and neither were changed the bedsheets... Toiletries - inexistent as well.

• Jean (1/5): Truly awful and disappointing - the apartment we were given was not as advertised, so beware!!! - I don't think this apartment actually exists. We were given a studio apartment (see photos) with no place to sit or eat, the shower is walk in and designed so badly that it flooded the entire bathroom floor when used, which meant drying the floor before you could use the lavatory. The airconditioning was so loud that we had to sleep with ear plugs and was not that good anyway but desperately needed. Could not sit on the balcony because the airconditioner exhaust blew onto it, instead of into the air. The kitchen sink was already broken so using the tap was tricky. When I rang the "owner", the woman I spoke to was very aggressive and after about five minutes suddenly told me that the airconditioning in the "beautiful" apartment was not working which is why we were given the studio, which seemed like making up an excuse. She offered to refund the fee and for us to find another place to stay, which I declined as my son had his phone stolen on the Metro and so we needed a place to stay so he could notify the company and others. That led us to discover that the wifi in the studio was very hit and miss - fine at 7am but terrible at night. Will suggest that you do not book this, or if you decide to, message first to see whether the apartment is actually available (and does exist....). All in all, a terrible stay that spoiled our enjoyment of Athens.

The apartment was bare i mean bare. one chair inside one chair on the balcony with small table and a bed that was all the furniture in the apartment. One fork, three knives, no spoons. Two very tall beer glasses. i booked for two people. i forgot my crochet hook doubt i will get it back
• Michael (1/5): THIS ADVERT IS MISLEADING AS ITS A SHITHOLE! - NOTHING --PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE AS IT IS A FRONT FOR AN UNDISCLOSED SHITHOLE! Please do not book this place as it is a front for an undisclosed location in which you find out after you make the booking and go and collect the keys. Conveniently you are told that due to an overbooking situation that you have to go to a exact replica apartment at another address of Koumoundourou 25. You have to go to the Athens City hotel to pick up the keys after showing them your booking confirmation. The receptionist well hesitantly tell you that you're booking is not at that address. It's all a crock of shit. You arrive at the other address and there's nothing but a bunch of freaking crackheads and hotel cleaning personnel living in this building in which they provide for them as dormitories. There is no View and there is a club for the Russian cleaning personnel exactly next door or in the basement and the music is blaring throughout the evening until 4:00 a.m. or 5:00 a.m.. I have never been deceived to this degree via an online travel portal. My recommendation is to not book on booking.com or Priceline as it is questionable why any US Travel website that has any type of standards would include this establishment in their portfolio. After I also spent 5 hours on the phone with booking.com they will do nothing other than say "oh I'm so sorry that's the procedure" and should you raise your voice from disgust and anger, the booking.com telephone representative in the offshore location will kindly tell you that if you continue to be disruptive and yell they will disconnect the call. Mind you I had to call five times before somebody could even hear me let alone assist because the lines were so bad from diverting calls offshore Please do not book this place as it is a front for an undisclosed location in which you find out after you make the booking and go and collect the keys. • Lucille (1/5): No way I am using them again. Pictures of 1st property change. - It was clean. Location changed at the last moment. First change was on the 4th floor w a broken down lift. Area was very noisy. Had to fight for a replacement. Was a struggle to get to the toilet. No hot water!

• Cleo (7/5): Good - We loved how clean and spacious the property was. The host from Golden City Hotel were very helpful, warm and welcoming. They responded fast to anything thay needed to be done. We had a lovely stay and looking forward to going back again.

• Alexandra (1/5): Avoid at any cost - Leaving This is by far the worst property I have ever stayed in. For a start, it is not the one advertised in the pictures as many others have said. “Beautiful” is the last world I’d use to describe it. After collecting our keys we were directed to a completely different address (with no explanation) and arrived to find two people under the influence of drugs fighting outside the dilapidated front door. All of the communal areas are covered in cigarettes and litter, meanwhile there is a bar downstairs playing extremely loud music all hours of the day. Naturally I would not have booked this property knowingly with a baby, but remember, this isn’t the property I booked! The apartment itself is passable, however it is simply a room with an uncomfortable bed and some empty kitchen cupboards. Everything is worn or filthy, not appealing to use. The room and bedding stank of cigarette smoke, and there were burns in the bedding. As for the “sun terrace”, it is a small balcony overlooking more run down buildings and graffiti. The neighbourhood is absolutely horrific. As someone who has travelled all over the world to major cities, and stayed in some very basic party accommodation, this was far worse than anything I have ever seen. Ironically, I think having a baby with us actually made us safer, but it is not somewhere I would suggest staying to anyone of any age or walk of life. We did contact the owners several times before travelling to ask questions, which were ignored until we had one rude response back. We also contacted them whilst there to ask why we weren’t in the apartment we booked, this was also ignored. This listing appears to be some kind of scam which I have raised with booking.com as it should be removed immediately. I didn’t take any photos of the property as it was entirely to depressing to do so and we spent as much time as physically possible out of it.

• Vangelis (10/5): good house and the overall was good, although the area was very dangerous - it was clean, but the clocers from the sheets were quite old. the area was quite dangerous and i do not recommend for a woman to live there by herself. also, the sheets were quite old and didn’t maked me feel comfortable to be sleeping there.
• Sapna (4/5): never going back - The apartment and the facilities inside the apartment were fair deal for the price. 1. its not a ‘very beautiful’ apartment. As mentioned in bold letters on their advertisement. 2. We arrived at the location, it was a hotel. The hotel then gave us a key and gave another location to the apartment. 3. Its in an unsafe area, drug addicts, buglers and suspicious activities were taking place all around that area. We were a bit frightened actually to live there. 4. There is no view of anything. Burnt, old abandoned buildings. 5. We had a car. We were so afraid to park it in that area :( 6. and the guy on the hotel reception was really annoying. asking stupid questions and acting like he was making fun of us for booking this apartment. horrible experience.
• Natalia (3/5): It was stay with reflection - It is typical one bedroom apartment the building where apartment is surrounded by drag addicts. and it is not just your usual central picture, this is actually the place of tourism for them, as a shopkeeper explained to us. You would never imaging this is whole little world with its affairs, with dealers circulating back and forward. This is the apacalipto display, I suggest choose not the gotly houses of central, but family districts towards the sea and on another side of Acropolis.

For its money! - A nice and cute apartment in the centre of Athens. very comfy and had everything you need, even an iron with its desk. sick! 👍🏻 The owner was very easy-going and kind and we had no issues to enter the flat. The only thing that could get fix is when you get you shower the water doesn’t go down fast enough.
• Ioannis (6/5): Clean rooms, nice stuff but insecure/uncomfortable area - I definitely didn't like the area. There are extremely many people addicted to drugs near the apartment and that made me feel uncomfortable.
• Argyrios (1/5): AWFUL - -when we got to the reception to get the key for the apartment, they informed us that there was a technical problem for the apartment we booked and they could only refund us. after complaining because they did not inform us earlier in order to look for another hotel or room, they told us that they will take us to another apartment. This apartment was nothing like what we booked. I complained again and after about two hours they took us to an apartment which was similar to what we booked. -After staying to the last apartment, i have to say that it was clean but the single bed was awful. My waist is in terrible pain after sleeping for 3 nights on this bed. -The lady we talked on the phone was not willing to help us at all for the problem they caused us, not polite at all, and did not even apologize for the 2,5 hours we waited until they they found somewhere for us to stay. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE
• Martine (2/5): Would not go back there again. - The all thing was a mess. I dropped my luggages at a close by hotel where I was to pick up the keys, I was told I could come back at 2PM to get the keys to the apartment. When I did I was told there was a plumbing issue but the owner of the place would pay for an hotel room for 1 night, I agreed to it. On the next morning I asked to move to the flat but first was told it couldn't happen until later during the day, I asked to have this sorted as I want to start my holidays; the person at the reception of the hotel did her best and got back to me after 20 minutes telling it was all ok. I received the key and someone showed me where to go, however when I got there it was a studio with nearly NO equipment instead of the 55m2 fully equiped apartment I booked. I webt back and ask to change and was told "this is all we have." I got in touch with booking.com who tried their best, the owner uncooperative to say the least. I also do not reccomend the area for people with children, women or single travelor, it is full of people on drugs on the streets.
• Tatjana (6/5): Pleasant - Near the station and hop on hop off bus stop, space, comfortable flat, clean, with air conditioner. first of all I will never ever recommend to stay in this area. a lot of homeles and addicted people. We didn’t feel safety in this location the key we should took in another place and they chaothe address the kitchen in the room was empty. there’s no kitchenette, all what was there is one plate, a lot of spoons and few glasses.
