Guest Reviews
- Anderson (9/5): Great location amazing view - Amazing view Wi-Fi was poor
- Abdulla (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE – Our Passports Were Stolen in 20 Minutes, and the Company Tried to Buy Our Silence - You might be amazed by the location and the view, but believe me it's not worth your life and safety. DO NOT STAY HERE – Our Passports Were Stolen in 20 Minutes, and the Company Tried to Buy Our Silence
We had a terrifying experience at this property. I left the apartment for just 20 minutes with my wife and our 13-month-old baby to grab dinner. When we came back, we were shocked to find the place completely ransacked. Luggage thrown open, belongings scattered everywhere—someone had clearly broken in and searched everything.
And what did they take?
Only our Emirati passports.
What’s even more disturbing is that all doors and windows were locked, exactly as we had left them. No signs of forced entry. So how did someone get in? This left us feeling violated, unsafe, and extremely concerned about how secure this property really is.
We immediately tried to contact the property and called George, the man in charge, multiple times with no response. The company didn’t reply until the next day—long after the damage had been done.
And here’s the most outrageous part:
When I finally told them what happened, they said the “manager” had **agreed to give us a 100% refund—**but only if we promised not to leave a bad review on Booking.com.
Can you imagine? Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to silence us.
We were traveling with a baby. We left the apartment immediately because we no longer felt safe. And now, we are dealing with stolen passports and the emotional trauma of knowing someone entered our space while we were out for just minutes.
This place is not safe. The management is unaccountable. And the company cares more about protecting its ratings than protecting its guests.
If you care about your safety and your family’s well-being, do not stay here.
- Diana (1/5): The worst experience, they stole the deposit! - An awful experience here!!! They stole our €100 deposit money, which was a condition to book and after our departure they said that towles and linen were missing, but they weren't there in the first place. It was all a set up, please don't book and make the deposit! The hygiene conditions were awful! Bugs and mold, dust, dirt under the bed and sofa
- Alberto (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (7/5): Excellent, would definitely come back. - Location was fantastic and the view from the balcony just stunning. There was also a good coffee place across the road and nice restaurants nearby to eat at. The bed was a little too firm for me but then I like a softer mattress but it was great for my husband.
- Marilyn (7/5): The host did send a repairman to fix the hot water on the last day. Loved the location and view. - The location was amazing and the patio and view superb. The bathroom was tiny and awkward with intermittent hot water.
- Kun (6/5): Convinent and amazing view but not maintained well by cleaning team - Convenient Location, and amazing view Thanks very much, we are very happy with the location and the view of this apartment, it’s really convenient for us. But we feel it lack of maintenance and cleaning need improve a lot, I found the cups and cutlery are very dirty, and we didn’t have sponge and detergent to start with , which really annoyed us. Also the fan in the shower room doesn’t work but make huge noice, the toilet door doesn’t shut, the toilet paper roll is not working, power cables everywhere
- Anna (10/5): Perfect location - The most beautifull view I’ve ever expirienced 🤩🤩🤩 The view on the acropolis 🤩 from big terrace; evetything that you need in the kitchen
- Kevin (10/5): Excellent -
- Zhannetta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sanivez (10/5): Great place - The managing team was very professional and accommodating to our needs. They went the extra mile to make our stay more comfortable. Promptly responded to my texts. Coordinated transport for us when needed. Bed very comfortable and balcony even
better. The view is amazing. We walked to the Acropolis. Lots of restaurants near by but still very residential area. Can't think of anything.
- Andrew (10/5): Great apartment with incredible views and location! -
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful view! - The view and location was great! The air conditioner was not sufficient. It was very hot out and the air conditioner did not cool off the apartment very much. It is on the top floor but they need a stronger A/C unit.
- Davi (10/5): Very good spot and location. - Very good location, walking distance from the acropolis entrances, Acropolis museum and from Plaka. Also, supermarkets and restaurants around the building.
Leftreris which is the person that delivered the keys was really nice and friendly person.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect for a quiet night and an close access to the inner city streets. Easy to walk the streets, go back to the apartment, relax for a bit and go back out. The view of the acropolis is unbelievable during the day, and at night. It was truly awesome! Nothing that stood out.
- Yu (9/5): Superb - The view from the terrace was amazing and the location is very good!
- Ana-maria (10/5): Exceptional - The view of the Acropolis is amazing. You can stay on the couch and see it.
- Katarzyna (9/5): A wonderful time in the heart of Athens - Spacious, clean and very comfortable apartment with a spectacular view of the Acropolis from the balcony. A very spacious terrace, where drinking morning coffee was a pleasure. Everything is great, the only thing - we suggest securing the cables on the balcony from the solar panels because the glass wool comes out ( there is a lot of glass wool on the balcony)
- Ircan (9/5): Magnificient view! - Apartment was nice, and the view was 10/10. Location in koukaki was very nice, lots of local restaurants nearby. Kitchen was ok, but lacking of some amenities, including cleaning essentials to wipe tables etc.
Also it would be Nice to have curtains in all Windows.
- Pierre (8/5): Overall a good stay, but… - The view is stunning, unbeatable. From the sofa, you have a direct look on Acropolis.
The marble floor is very cosy and elegant.
The neighborhood is quiet at night and sleep is very good, the bed is good too. We hadn’t yet checked in that I already had an email from the agency kindly asking me to rate the apartment 5/5!
Then, upon arrival you need to fill some flying paper with all your credit card details including CVV for deposit. I don’t like that and I will complain to Booking.com.
The equipments are objectively quite poor, most notably the kitchen and the bathroom that would require a refresh. A curtain misses in the room, the outside sun blind is stuck by rust. I slept on the sofa as I was traveling with my daughter but there were no sheets!
Cleanliness is NOT top notch either. I found some hair, an empty bottle under the bed, a spider and some black mold in the shower. When you consider a 45€ fee is included for cleaning, I suspect it’s quickly done and money is kept.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, the Menos staff George, John and Panos were great. Apartment view was truly exceptional. Brilliant. Nothing.
- Monika (9/5): Exploring Athens! - The view was literally amazing, you could walk to the acrópolis in less than 6mins. If you get the hop on hop off bus tour, they pick up right at the Acrópolis, so it's so convenient to get around with out a car. Right down stairs, there are 2 places to eat, and get fresh squeezed orange juice. They arranged airport transfers there and back, which as amazing. I actually fell and hurt my self on the trip, they send us info about efood, an app you can download and order food from. They also gave us a baggage pickup company, that picked up our luggage from the apartment and took it to the airport for us. The view was unbelievable. The shower was so small, you could barely turn around. I did notice that is normal for Greece. Only other thing that could be an issue was the stairs. When you walk in, there are about 12 steps to get to the elevator, then once off the elevator there are another 12 steps going spiral up to your suite. For someone with heavy luggage it can be a bit much. But other than those things, it was just awesome. I would definitely stay here again though.
