Dostali jsme i několik tipů, třeba na domácí zmrzlinu, vše v docházkové vzdálenosti. Nejkrásnější byl však výhled na Acropolis.

• Torsten (9/5): Romantisches Athen - Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich von Beginn an sehr gut aufgenommen. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse und die Lage zur Akropolis und zur Metro sind unschlagbar!
• Balakumar (10/5): - From the very beginning, the host was extremely communicative and helpful. They provided clear instructions for everything and even arranged a driver for both pickup and drop-off at very reasonable prices. They were friendly, approachable, and always available — even responding kindly during odd hours, which was very much appreciated. The apartment itself was beautifully presented, and my family really liked the way the rooms were set up. Although it turned out to be on the basement level (which we hadn’t expected), we also had access to the rooftop, so that balanced things out nicely. The location was perfect — just a short walk to all the main attractions like the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, and Plaka. We were able to cover all these places in a single day without much hassle, thanks to its central location. It’s also close to many restaurants and cafés, which made exploring Athens very convenient. The host’s restaurant recommendations were excellent. Although we don’t eat beef or pork, their suggestions were still very good and thoughtful. Overall, the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to explore central Athens. A small note for future guests: the apartment is on the basement level, so you need to take the “-1” lift to access it. To enjoy the rooftop Acropolis view, you’ll need to carry chairs upstairs — not an issue for us, but it might be less convenient for those with mobility difficulties. Overall, it’s a lovely stay with excellent hospitality and unbeatable location — highly recommended for anyone visiting central Athens. The only small suggestion would be to include brief instructions on how to use some of the electric appliances, especially the coffee maker. It’s just a minor point that could make things even smoother for future guests. Honestly, everything was absolutely perfect — the host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Host was very helpful regarding the property in getting keys, and informing us how to go about this. The property is within 100 metres of the acropolis. Close to lots of restaurants,supermarket,hop on hop off buses,lots of tourists attractions like acropolis, museums etc.

Good for short stays. - Amazing views on the rooftop, superior location to everything of interest, walkable to museum and Acropolis, available washing machine, and elevator. Hosts responded within reasonable time to inquiries. Apartment was kept clean. Picture of lockbox would have been nice, fortunately someone from the building showed us where the lockboxes where kept. Beds were very lumpy, small flies in the bedroom constantly coming in and falling on the bed, even though the windows were closed. The basement hallway leading into the apartment had a a very strong mouldy/rotten? smell, not sure where it was coming from. In the hallway leading to apartment crawling insects were regularly found.

• Norm (9/5): Quiet place close to everything - Incredible ambiance in the property exceeds expectations. Could not get a better location for access to key sites and a metro station while being in such a quiet building. Some wear and tear was occurring, such as it was hard to slide the door to the loo and laundry, and the TV remotes battery was on its last leg. But these are minor bugs.

The owner’s response was simply to leave the window open and close the bathroom door. More should have been done to remove or cover up the smell.

Apartment was clean, easy to access, close to museum, Acropolis, etc. The host had some QR codes for videos which gave us idea to hike the nearby hills which turned out to be awesome! For a quick stay this was great value!

I was up there every night enjoying the view almost to myself. Sylvia was wonderful. She met us at the apartment and gave us an overview of everything. • Mark (9/5): A brilliant, good value location with amazing rooftop views - The location was absolutely brilliant. The roof terrace was amazing. Plenty of hot water and kitchen facilities were great. Great value for money due to location. Information/recommendations within the premises was good. Key collection was a little stressful - we thought somebody would meet us at the property, but instructions were sent via booking.com just as we left the airport which we had difficulty accessing due to mobile phone connectivity issues - all was resolved following a phone call and a message being sent via a text message/whatsapp message. Apartment was a little dated, but acceptable. Bedding was sheets and a blanket - why not duvets? Rooftop was a little untidy and uninviting, so you must take your own chairs/table from the apartment - the view of the Acropolis made up for lack of facilities. Courtyard garden was nice and cool, but a little uninviting.

The flat is spacious. It is actually in the basement, and you have access to the courtyard style garden. The bed is large and comfortable. I slept like a baby.

During our down times it is important for us to be comfortable in the apartment. There is access to the rooftop for great views of the Acropolis. The great location goes without saying, but I will say it anyway because that is why you are reading this review. :) It is a very short walk to the entrance of the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, the Temple of Zeus, Plaka, the hop-on hop-off bus stop and is directly across the street from the Acropoli subway station that connects with the airport and Piraeus ferry terminal. Nothing at all

The apartment is very quiet and the location could not be better for seeing the antiquities (only 2 or 3 minutes walk to the Acropolis entrance). Tons of restaurants nearby and the Plaka is always lively. And the view from the private rooftop terrace in the evening is unparalleled! Nothing to dislike!

• Jin (10/5): Perfect and superb - Everything is perfect! Clean and beautiful, can find anything you want that the host Sylvia and Raphael prepared considerately, not only the stuffs in the apartment but also tips in the QR code. Don’t forget the terrace on the rooftop where you will get surprise!
• Steven (10/5): A perfect stay close to everything. - Our first contact with the host, Sylvia, was very positive and she kindly arranged for a taxi from the airport. The driver met us at the gate and we had a safe air conditioned ride right to the property. The apartment itself is in a secured building right next to many restaurants and across from the Acropoli metro station. It is a perfect location for the side entrance to the Acropolis and the Plaka shopping area. In a downstairs area, the apartment was pleasantly cool and surprisingly quiet, we heard nothing from the busy pedestrian street above. It was nicely equipped and very clean and opened onto a private courtyard with plenty of singing birds. We loved being able to pop back into the apartment to cool down, relax and use the toilet during our sightseeing. The highlight of this stay was definitely the roof terrace. We were able to enjoy an amazing view of the Acropolis by ourselves, with a bottle of wine and music floating up from the street. It was such an experience! Nothing, we were very pleased with this apartment.

This apartment is so close to the Acropolis and is right next to a subway station so it's easy to get to anywhere in Athens. There are tons of nearby restaurants and taverns. • Carol (10/5): Wonderful location close to South Entrance of Acropolis! - Loved the location of this apartment, "Star Parthenon!" It was a very short walk to South Entrance for Acropolis, and also a short walk to the Acropolis Museum. There were many restaurants just outside the building along the pedestrian way. And the street to the north had lots of shops for any Greece item you may want as a souvenir. Awesome view of Acropolis from the apartment building's rooftop! We loved having access to the rooftop & went up every day/night during our stay. We appreciated having a set of chairs & a small table provided in the apartment to take to the roof. The apartment had beautiful decor & was a nice size for the 3 of us adults, with a large bed (2 twins pushed together) in the bedroom & a sofabed in living room. Comfy pillows! The full-size kitchen & dining table were nice to have for meals we did in the apartment. The host had coffee & tea for use, but we had brought our own. The apartment's building was very quiet. There were some sweet birds that would visit the courtyard trees every morning around 7am & sing, which I enjoyed. Even though the apartment is on the basement level (1 flight of stairs down from the street-level building entrance), there is nice light that comes in all the windows from the courtyard. We utilized the apartment owner's recommended taxi driver, Nikos, to go to & from the airport, and we enjoyed our ride in his spacious car. He was friendly & efficient! We were so glad to have Roubina meet us as Nikos dropped us off near the apartment. She guided us to the apartment & showed us all the details of the apartment & even shared an online map of her favorite restaurants. She was very friendly! The coffee machine & electric kettle could have been cleaner; we heated up our water for coffee in the coffee mugs. Our reservation began with a very small amount of dish liquid in the bottle provided. The beds were very firm. We would have used the courtyard terrace, but the mosquitos out there kept us inside. We did not encounter mosquitos elsewhere in Athens, so there may have been some water pooling somewhere in courtyard. I tried to do one load of wash & the washer leaked at the drain hose connection at the wall during every drain cycle. My husband looked at it & believes the connection in the wall was blocked & not allowing any drain water through. I should have called owners to have repaired, but we were out of the apartment a lot during our stay & would have wanted to be there if a repairperson came into the apartment with all our personal items there. A larger laundry drying-rack would have been nice. We could not set the A/C temp lower than 24C. We could have used deeper bowls for soup that we made in the kitchen; we ended up putting our soup in coffee mugs to eat.

She coordinated for us the pick-up from the cruisse to the Apt and drop off from the apt to the airport. The Apt is very safe, cute, comfortable and lot of AI Tech. and has everything you need for a longer stay. The location is a plus, very central, close to everything. Definitely I will go back. I think that the motion sensor lights need to be relocated because they are too far from the main entrance to the Apt, the Elevator & stairs.. for us was very concerning that we might fall because it was very dark and we needed to take few steps before the lights turn on.

Comfortable without being fancy. Great info from the hosts about the apartment and the area. The view from the roof of the building is spectacular. The hosts were super helpful. I hurt my ankle before I arrived and they helped us with taxis right to the door in a pedestrian area. Nothing it was great.

• Culbertson (10/5): The Star Parthenon Apartments are awesome! - The Star Parthenon Apartments are awesome! I was traveling with my family (3 children and spouse) and the apartment was clean, roomy, and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. If I had needed a taxi or the public bus/rail, they were within a block or so. Also, the apartment has an outstanding view of the Acropolis and the entire city from the rooftop viewing area. Another good feature was security. The apartment is well secured by a heavy door and the building has an entry area that required another separate key and an attendant, So if you are traveling on business and are concerned about the security of your work materials, you will feel secure and safe. My wife and I enjoyed both nights gazing at the skyline with the breeze and music of the city below. All in all this was an outstanding value and very very convenient. When I return to Athens, I will stay here again if it is available. Thank you very much for an outstanding stay! Nothing!

Thank you all! Our twin beds were not the most comfortable, however we still had a good rest after days full of fun and activities

Mini mart & metro only metres away * most importantly it was quiet despite being walking distance to Acropolis & Plaka. Everything we needed was supplied.
• Olga (8/5): Good stopover - Perfect location, calm, clean and well furnished. It was on the ground floor at the bottom of a narrow yard. This may be nice in summer but makes the apartment a bit dark. If twin beds are required, this has to requested in advance even though the description specifically mentions twin beds. There was a double bed when we arrived that could luckily be converted into twins but it did require some convincing of the owners. They promised to rectify the description.
