• David (8/5): Great stay. - The only issue I would say is maybe the location. It was handy to everything but it seemed as though it was maybe a dirtier area. There was lots of graffiti and lots of discarded needles, etc nearby.

• Lauren (9/5): A wonderful place to stay and explore Athens. - This apartment was unique and fun for the kids! Not far from transport, comfortable beds, and had everything we needed. The host gave us a lot of good tips for what to do in the area. Nothing, it was great.

Gracias a su amabilidad por dejarnos salir más tarde pudimos aprovechar el último día en la playa que nos recomendó e irnos duchados al aeropuerto. Ubicado a 7’ de la plaza Omonia, con parada de metro, y a una parada de metro de sintagma. Barrio tranquilo con todos los servicios, supermercados, bares…

L'appartement a tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour à Athènes et il est super original ! Merci à Alexandros pour son accueil chaleureux ainsi que pour les différents conseils. Il a toujours été très réactifs au message. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce logement atypique pour un séjour en ville. La seule mission qu'on vous demandera est de nourrir les poissons de l'aquarium mais le spectacle est hors du commun pour une location 😊 Tout était parfait !!

• Heimlund (10/5): Vi koste oss virkelig. - Ble møtt av en hyggelig som låste oss inn og viste oss leiligheten. Det var flere kreative løsninger for å utnytte plassen godt og vi lot oss inspirere. Det er kort vei til det meste så beliggenheten er ikke noe å utsette på. Verten kom med flere gode tips til hva som var verdt å oppleve i Athen og hvor det var bra å spise, vi følte oss veldig velkommen. har langt hår, så var vanskelig å få skylt håret ved vask grunnet lavt trykk i dusjen. men dette er også det eneste jeg har å utsette på leiligheten. Leiligheten ligger over et teater og når det var forestilling der sto det gjerne noen utenfor å røykte "urter", så for å ikke få lukt i leiligheten holdt vi terrassedøren lukket. Det var ikke et stort problem, men greit å nevne.

• Erika (9/5): - Vi hade en bra vistelse i Aten och i boendet. Det var en speciell lägenhet med flera smarta lösningar på det lilla utrymmet. Det vi behövde under vår vistelse fanns där och vi sov gott i sängarna. Bra med en tvättmaskin så vi kunde tvätta våra kläder innan vi skulle resa vidare. Det var rofyllt att titta på fiskarna och räkorna i akvariet. Värdarna var mycket trevliga och serviceminded. Under vår vistelse fick vi tips på både saker att göra och ställen att äta på. Läget var bra, vi kunde enkelt gå från tågstationen till boendet och även in till centrum av Aten. Vi har inget negativt att säga men man får tänka på att badrummet är litet och duschen är trång.

• Sara (10/5): Cinque giorni ad Atene - Alexandros è stato gentilissimo: sempre disponibile a consigliarci sulle attività. Alloggio piccolo, ma con gli spazi super ottimizzati: dotato di tutto il necessario e molto confortevole; materassi e cuscini decisamente comodissimi! Ai ragazzi è piaciuto molto l'arrampicarsi per raggiungere il letto :-) Dall'appartamento ci si muove tranquillamente a piedi e in circa 20minuti si arriva nei principali punti di interesse: comunque ci sono molti ristoranti e negozietti anche nel quartiere. La macchina siamo riusciti a lasciarla ogni giorno nei parcheggi liberi di fronte all'appartamento: fantastico! Per noi è stato molto bello, ma sicuramente non è un appartamento che consiglierei per chi ha difficoltà motorie o molti bagagli da gestire

He also continuously recommended places to visit, places to eat, and activities to do. When we had questions he responded very promptly through Whatsapp.

Alejandro was an incredibly kind host with some fantastic suggestions of places to go and visit. His consideration was immense. I can't recommend the place enough. It won't suit everyone but I absolutely thought it fantastic and was my favorite stay in Greece.

• Priya (9/5): A very memorable, quirky and well executed property managed by a very hospitable and kind man - I don’t think it is possible to find another property like this. Alexandros and his family have put so much love and thought into its design. It has practically every feature that you could possibly and some that you would definitely not expect (in a good way). Alexandros was an incredibly kind and accommodating host and seemed to really care that we had a generally good experience in Athens. The bathroom was slightly small but completely manageable.

• Nina (10/5): Unforgettable love spreading apartment and family - Alexandros is one of the most sympathetic, helpful, joyful, faithful people I've ever met. Just meeting him was worth the whole travel. In thier place you can feel love in every single corner. The place is very well designed and every square centimeter is used effectively. Alexandros and his wife are architects and designed everything there for thier own home so you will feel home as well. It is unbelievable how much thought is behind everything you have there and children loved it so much that we had problems leaving the apartment for sightseeing. There were a lot of books even a German children book , music instruments like keyboard games, keyboard, work place, karaoke, swing, Playstation, climbing wall, 3 tvs, printer, air purifier, washing machine... We already missed it /him. At last night we just asked if there is any balance to check our baggage weight and after 30 minutes he was standing behind the door with a brand new device for us. It was so touching. Thank you dear Alexandros and Anastasia We loved everything but just to help people to have a clear image from the apartment I would describe things that some people need to consider before choosing this beautiful and lovely apartment. It is like a big and modern camper (caravan) you have everything but most of the thongs are foldable coming down from the wall or ceiling, there is a single bed that doesn't need any climbing, a double bed with a short lather and one single bed almost on the ceiling. Single beds have their own TV. Shower and toilet are quite narrow and are operated by buttons and pedals. As I said we had a wonderful time but if you also want to have the same experience consider the limitations and then decide. I'm sure it will be unforgettable.

• Mihaela (10/5): Very nice experience in a super interesting apartment - Alexandros was a really nice host, he waited for us when we arrived, took us through a short 'tour' of the apartment. He replied very fast each time we needed informations, either related to the apartment, or to other things related to town. He had suggestions in almost every day for us. The location is at walking distance from center, we haven't used the public transport in any day (family with 2 children, 6 and 9 y.o.) We are glad that we chose this apartment for our stay in Athens. Perhaps the fact that the windows are not very well soundproofed. But this would not be an impediment to choose it again when we visit Athens again.

They transform a relatively small space into a perfect custom-made treasure machine. Athens centre diamond should be on architecture books as a case study! We chose the place because we wanted to explore Exarcheia (and we did, and we loved it), but we will be back for Alexandros and his home. n/a Everything was perfect; we loved the area and the place. This is not the right area if you are searching for fancy-snob-touristic spots or are scared of graffiti and neighbourhoods without international chains. And on the other hand, Athens Centre Diamond is probably not for people with reduced mobility either. But if you want to enjoy the most authentic and activist heart of Athens, avoid tourists, and are down to earth, this place is for you, and you won't be disappointed.

We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and had amazing food, coffee and loved the great 24hr bakery. We tried all of Alexandros' recommendations, even the open cinema was fun. He is a super host and the most amazing kind hearted man who can not do enough for you. Would come back in a heartbeat 💛🙏

The place is the most creative and original i've ever seen in my whole life. Exarchia is a mix between the hype of the new generations and the difficulties of greece. I think if the visitor wants to have a local experience this is the place. Good restaurants, market and museums as well as metro station at omonia square will make life easier. I could write and write but my 10 tells everything. To leave the place!
• Rita (10/5): Exceptional - This accommodation is outstanding. It had everything we needed! We particularly loved that all beds had their own little space. We were in the same room but we all had our own privacy which was highly appreciated after a long day out and about. Beds were all very cosy and comfortable. Very quiet area, we had decent sleep every night, which was a blessing as it was our 6th leg during a European holiday, so we were getting very tired. However nothing a good night sleep didn't fix! There is a grocery store just around the corner so we didn't need to worry about shopping. Owner was fantastic, checking up on us and recommending great restaurants (thank you!). Lovely stay, highly recommended.

Their place is a jewel, created and designed with so much love and care. À lot of thoughtful and intentional design went into creating a comfortable, functional living space out of a room. We had a super nice stay, and would definitely return here next time we are in Athens. PS Loved watching the fishes play in their aquarium. Everything was super great, especially the hosts!

• Larry (10/5): Awesome Artistic Loft - Inspiring creative environment with great location in the theater district of Exarchia. Light filled open space with unique architectural details. It was easy to feel right at home here. I appreciated the thought and care that went into this loft. The location is close to many great places to eat. Easy access to transportation, but has great walkability factor. Host was the best. You can't go wrong here, especially if you are on a working vacation and need a multi-purpose space. I would definitely stay here again. I actually didn't want to leave the space. It felt like a great live-work loft in NY or SF. Location can't be beat. No cons at all for me.

He texted us right before we arrived and met us down the apartment. He even recommended us places and restaurants. His wife is a lovely lady too. The room was so clean and well furnished with everything you need like fridge, utensil, coffee maker, electric kettle. On the top of the shelf he even has some tea, coffee and sugar for us! This small apartment has a balcony too. The room is a lil small but so comfortable. Alex is such a talented architect. He built everything on his own with a very detail and unique design. It was so interesting to discover every little thing in this apartment. Would recommend everyone to stay here. Nothing! Everything was perfect.

He would text message us on recommendations of restaurants to eat at, places to visit and even a secret beach found in Athens a short taxi ride. The place we stayed was very unique. There was a small but efficient kitchen with kitchen appliances and kitchen items. Alexandros and his wife unexpectedly gave us a small gift. The ruins, museums and hikes were between a 5 minute to 30 minutes walk away.
