• Ching-Hua (10/5): - Great location, clean, well stocked. Comfortably furnished and well equipped. Loved the terrace and the rooftop. There was a small leak in one of the bathroom showers that cause the floor to get very wet after each shower unless great pains were made to angle the shower head and stand in the far corner.

• Stephen (10/5): This is the place you want to stay in the Acropolis area. You will be be happy and comfortable in this home away from h - Property owner met us at check-in. Security features were reassuring. Second bathroom and laundry facilities elevated the experience. Location is perfect for transportation and archeological sites. Gyros around the corner are excellent. The terrace and rooftop access with Parthenon views are stunning. The bedding was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and cold beverages in the refrigerator made the first night so much easier. There is nothing.

• Mirella (10/5): Perfect location, helpful hosts who have thought about everything. - This property is amazing, what a great little find. The location is unbeatable, makes exploring Athens easy and comfortable and we definitely enjoyed being able to have a quick reprieve from the heat with the location being so central to everything, before hitting the pavement and sights again, the rooftop views of the Acropolis at sunrise and sunset are unmissable. Absolutely will stay again if we are lucky enough to go back.

• Wayne (10/5): Perfect Location - This property is right in the middle of everything. So convenient within easy walking distance of the Plaka and Acropolis. The metro and Acropolis museum are across the street. Easy Easy Easy! The accommodations were perfect for my family of four.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Perfect apartment, perfect location! - This was an absolutely outstanding apartment. The location is superb -- right across the street from the Acropolis Museum, just around the corner from the Akropoli metro station. Many of the things we wanted to visit were in easy walking distance (the Acropolis, the Plaka, the agora, the National Garden) and the things that were further away were very easy to reach by metro. The apartment itself is wonderful -- large, well furnished, one of the best supplied kitchens we've ever had in a rental apartment. There is an excellent AB Vassilopoulos grocery store nearby, so we were able to cook in the apartment when we wanted to. There are also a great many restaurants right around the apartment so if you don't want to cook there's no need to. The apartment is in a busy pedestrianized neighborhood but the soundproofing is excellent -- we really had no street noise at all when the windows were closed. Having a washing machine is extremely helpful, and putting the drying rack on the balcony meant that the clothes dried very quickly. We LOVED the shower in the main bathroom. The second shower is small, but perfectly workable. And the balcony really does have a view of the Parthenon! Really, I can't say enough good things about the apartment-- I could go on and on! Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. As for the hosts, they were extremely helpful -- two of our party of four arrived a couple of hours before check-in time, and the hosts met them and let them check in early so they didn't have to wait around somewhere with their bags. We have stayed in many vacation rentals in many different countries, and this was one of the very best. The only slight negative aspect for us was that there was a cat who hung out on the balcony and was very adept at slipping into the apartment if the door to the balcony was open even a crack or if a bedroom window was open. Since two of the four of us are very allergic to cats, this meant that we couldn't leave the balcony door or the windows open unless someone was sitting right there to chase the cat away, and that was a shame since we would have liked to let the cool evening air into the apartment. This certainly isn't the owners' fault and there's probably nothing they can do about it -- there are a lot of cats in Athens and this one clearly considers this apartment's balcony part of its territory. This was a minor drawback for us, but for people who aren't allergic it wouldn't be a problem.
• Stefany (10/5): If we ever go back to Athens we will absolutely try to stay here again! - Everything about the apartment was perfect for our needs! Location was ideal, the unit had the right amount of beds, a well equipped kitchen, and a washer. The best part was the view from the rooftop! Don’t be frightened by the location above a restaurant and on an active road, the soundproofing was excellent. Host was communicative and accommodating, and even provided a few beverages and snacks. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Lovely restaurants and shopping just outside the door but we slept soundly at night. Perfect for 2 teens and 2 parents. Fully stocked kitchen, washing machine and comfortable beds. Nothing we are very happy with our choice.

Right in the midst of Plaka's hustle and bustle, but somehow completely quiet and private, this apartment was a wonderful stay for our family. We walked everywhere from this ideal spot. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and just steps from the Acropolis (+ museum and metro stop), we appreciated having a generous balcony with superb views, two bathrooms, and laundry. Refreshments awaiting us were a nice treat, and special thanks to Peter for coordinating seamless transportation to/from port and airport. Highly recommended!

It has a washing machine and drying rack. Right across from the Acropolis and walking distance to all but the National Archeological ‘Museum. Hosts were responsive and very helpful. Seriously great place to stay.

Peter was an excellent host and set up a wonderful taxi van for our trip to the airport. We absolutely recommend this property and hope to stay there again. • Annik (9/5): Amazing stay in the hearth of Athens. We could almost touch the Acropolis! - Everything! The host was responsive, met with us at the apartment with the keys and gave us a tour. The extras (beers and water in the fridge, cookies, extra adaptor, etc.). The beds and pillows were comfy. The location and view from the balcony; access to the rooftop terrasse. It was not as clean as our expected standards. The dining room chairs, couch and chairs on the balcony all need a deep clean. Not sure if it is allowed since it is a shared rooftop but it would be nice to exploit the rooftop space and have a couple of furniture pieces up there as it is a magnificent space!

The apartment is nice but needs updating. Microwave had a broken button. The facility i think could use an upgrade on a few things like matresses and electronics. The pool has a hole in the drainage.
