Nie był to dla nas problem, ale dobrze wiedzieć by później nie być zaskoczonym, że apartament jest blisko ruchliwej ulicy i na tarasie jest dość głośno, natomiast wyciszenie jest super domu i po zamknięciu okna jest cicho.

• Mignon (8/5): Bezaubernde moderne Ferienwohnung mit tollem Blick unweit der Altstadt - Die Ferienwohnung ist bezaubernd. Alles sehr modern und neu eingerichtet. Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, Backofen, Herd, Kühl-Gefrierkombi und ein Wasserkocher sind vorhanden. Jedes Zimmer besitzt einen Fernseher. Vom Balkon konnte man wunderbar auf das Meer schauen. Es gibt Klimaanlagen in jedem Zimmer. Wir hatten sogar Gewürze, Milch, Wasser, Kaffeepulver und Tee vorgefunden. Zum Pile-Tor sind es ca. 15 min zu Fuß. Manuela war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Zum Baden sind wir nur 1x gefahren und das war an den Strand "Copacabana"-dort konnte man gut Parken. Eigentlich nix. Man sollte nur wissen, dass es keinen Parkplatz an der Ferienwohnung gibt. Parken wegen Gepäck ausladen war für paar Minuten aber möglich. Parken konnte man im öffentlichen Parkhaus (150 Stufen) abwärts für 30 Euro pro Tag oder 150 Stufen aufwärts - kostenlos. Manuela hat uns alles gezeigt. Bis in die Altstadt ist es nicht weit, aber es sind sicherlich an die 400 Stufen zu bewältigen. Aber so ist es überall in diesem Teil von Dubrovnik-viele Treppen. Dieses muss man sicherlich erwähnen. Die Straße vor der Ferienwohnung ist vielbefahren, dass hat uns aber nicht gestört.

• Allan (10/5): Will definitely return - Fantastic apartment. Great location for a 15 minute walk into Dubrovnik town. Facilities in apartment were first class. Manuela even left us some beers, pasta, milk juice and biscuits. The apartment is spotlessly clean and Manuela is a superb host. I would definitely stay in this apartment again and will recommend to friends. Nothing not to like. You have to walk up some steps to get back to the apartment, but that is the same all over Dubrovnik.

The host even left us some drinks and snacks to use during the stay which was a life savior since we used to arrive late night after sightseeing. It is just 20 mins walk from the old town and 30 mins drive to the airport.

Great communication with Manuela, and very quick to respond and assist with anything. Only a few minutes away is a supermarket, cafe and bakery, approx 15-20 min walk down to Pile Gate via lots of stairs or there is a less direct route via the road which is also serviced with the local bus.
• Giles (9/5): Fabulous, would recommend this to anyone wishing to enjoy a short stay in Dubrovnik. - Manuela is a great host and greeted us on our arrival, having arranged our taxi pickup at the airport. Very friendly and welcoming for our stay. Dubrovnik is a lovely city and our stay centred on the Old City, which meant the apartment was in a perfect spot for accessing it, without the need for transport. But be prepared for the steps up & down, we’re reasonably active at home, which helped! Perfect spot when we wanted to walk up Mount SRD. It was a 5 minute walk up steps just by the apartment that straight across the road at the top onto the path up the mountain.

• Antonios (10/5): Perfect Stay in Dubrovnik with an Exceptional Host! - The apartment was perfect — spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was ideal for exploring Dubrovnik’s Old Town, and Manuela, the host, was incredibly polite and helpful. Tip for future guests: Take the steps down to the Old Town for quicker access, but return via the sidewalk along the road to avoid a steep climb back up. Highly recommend this spot! No negatives whatsoever.

The apartment was perfect and spotless and we loved all the extra touches she left like the amenities and products for us to use during our stay. The rooms were spacious, bright and well equiped. The beds super comfortable and the living area very inviting after a long days sightseeing. We couldn't have been any happier with the apartment! Not a single thing. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Dubrovnik.

• Rego (10/5): Excellent stay!! - Absolutely loved this centrally located apartment, very luxurious! Beautifully furnished, very spacious, lovely balcony with morning sun. She had the place well stocked with everything we needed - breakfast cereal, coffee and tea, cooking essentials. There was also aircon in every room!!! Manuela was a super host - she welcomed us, walked us around the town to help guide us to find parking!! Short walk to old town and also to the start of mount Srd. Incredible stay, will 100% stay again!!
• Nathalie (10/5): If you’d like a comfortable and affordable priced place to stay, I cannot recommend D Place highly enough. Dubrovnik is - The flat is beautiful, modern and clean. Manuela had ensured we had everything for our stay from drinks in the fridge to maps /brochures of Dubrovnik, paracetamol and plasters. There is a washing machine which is so fast (20 min cycle at 30°) and silent which means you can do a wash at midnight without disturbing the downstairs neighbours. The flat is fully furnished with towels, mini toiletries, cleaning products and kitchen utensils. Manuela who owns the property is so lovely and accommodating… you can tell she takes excellent care to ensure her guests feel welcomed and at home. She contacts you before the holiday to offer to book a taxi to collect you from the airport; recommended as for €35, you can be driven directly to the property without the hassle of navigating the airport shuttle bus, then the city bus (more on that below). There is a decent sized terrace so that you have an ‘apéro’ and watch the beautiful view during sunset. Whilst the property is well situated, it is up on a hill. It’s very easy to walk down the steps (10 mins) to the old city, but getting back can be more complicated. The buses (8, 3) that run to the flat are not reliable and in July the bus drivers were not very helpful (they must get fed up of the tourists). Apart from bus no 7 (taken to go to Sunset Beach..well worth a visit), the buses don’t seem to have the screens showing the bus stops or have audio announcements), and be aware that bus no 3 runs once an hour. The buses also go along a loop (via Port Gruz) before turning back on themselves to reach the flat, so you may prefer to call an Uber (cheaper than a taxi). We found an easier way ro get home on foot via the Ploce Gate of the old town as after lounging the old town walls, you reach a road parallel to the flat where you still have to go up some steps (take the steps after you reach the second supermarket as there are fewer stairs). We loved everything!!

• Jenita (10/5): Absolutely Wonderful - Manuela was such a lovely host, communication with her was through the booking.com app and it was super easy and quick when needed! She welcomed us when we arrived and brought us in to the apartment and gave us a tour of the place. She also showed us a wee folder she had made with info on the apartment and some transport info if we needed it, she gave us great tips and was overall, a very kind and friendly person :) The place was perfect. Super clean and tidy, she had thought of little things to include e.g. hair dryer, toiletries, glasses/cups/ plates/cutlery, pans, washing up stuff, dishwasher tablets, plastic cups (which we ended up needing), blankets etc. there are 2 double beds which were comfy for us (especially after all the walking we had done lol), tv’s in both bedrooms as well as the living room, the shower was great (would recommend giving it about 10-15 mins between each shower), ac/heating worked great and the balcony was such a lovely addition to the place. There are bus stops about 2 mins walking from the apartment (we didn’t use the local buses but it was a great location for pick up / drop off if you plan on doing the day trip to Montenegro). There is also a supermarket we were informed of nearby (close to the bus stop I believe) and another smaller one about 3-5 minutes down the steps, near a bakery as well which was lovely. Overall location - super lovely (even with the road outside, we didn’t mind it at all, just keep in mind the steps that you have to walk up once you’re done with the old city etc (I think you can get the bus up but not 100%) Honestly, I highly recommend Manuela’s apartment, it’s so worth the money and she could not have been a better host, the best we’ve had by far!! • Johanna-maria (10/5): Exceptional - This place exceeded our expectations. Host, Manuela, was amazing and really lovely. She ordered us taxi service from the airport and back and she was really helpful throughout our stay there. The apartment itself was modern and clean. It has air conditioning and TVs in each room and beds were comfortable. We stayed there for a week and had no issues. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook your own meals (grocery stores were nearby). Lovely balcony with the sea view, however there is quite a busy road that can be noisy. This did not bother us though and the balcony was a lovely place to have homemade dinners and enjoy the view (you can also see the sunset from there). Location was perfect, 10-15 minute walk to Pile Gate (depending how good you are with stairs) and bus stops were nearby. Taxis can take you right outside the property so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs of Dubrovnik. I would highly recommend this accommodation!

Lovely terrace with sea view & furniture . Everything seemed brand new , Manuela the host was also lovely and had popped a few essentials in the fridge for us when we arrived. Ther was nothing to dislike about the apartment at all

The accommodation was spacious, clean, excellent air conditioning, very comfortable beds. Lovely balcony with views of the sea. Maximum 10 minute walk to Pile Gate. Bus stop to Slano or Cavtat just across the road. The road outside the property was busy and therefore quite noisy, this did not bother us but may bother some. The benefit of this was taxis can leave you outside the property, therefore you do not have to carry your luggage through the streets and many steps of Dubrovnik! A definite bonus. Nothing to dislike.

It is not in the heart of the Old City, but equally is not too far away from it, just a 10/15 min walk with not too many steps. The accommodation is modern and exceptionally clean. No microwave to use quickly for heated the food. Than we used the oven it’s take time. I Suggest it's nice if thier some microwave for people buy food ready meal just a quick warm the food

We were very comfortable and appreciated the thoughtfulness and detail such as providing breakfast items as arrived too late to shop. There is nothing to dislike about the apartment. Once we worked out the bus route ( number 3 ) it was easy to get back from the old town. Otherwise it's a mega climb up the steps.

It has a balcony with a beautiful view from which you can see the old town and have very nice breakfast (in spring or summer). It is perfectly equipped with air conditioner in every room, kitchen utensils and bed linen. Manuela is an amazing host, she welcomed us and showed us the apartment when we arrived (something that no one does nowadays). She provided coffee and tea to have breakfast and many other details that made our stay outstanding. I would for sure recommend this place to have a lovely stay in Dubrovnik, Everything was perfect. Just prepare to walk a lot and climb some stairs in Dubrovnik :D.
