• Michelle (8/5): - Fabulous location in the main street of the Old Town, but still quite walkable with suitcases from the Pile gate. Ismail was a great host, picked us up from the Airport and transferred us to the Sixt office to pick up our hire car when we were leaving. Easy access to tours and plenty of cafes nearby. Nice lounge & windows views of the main street. Main problem was that the toilet was running off and on the whole time and a couple of lights were not working. Shower is a little tricky, but you get the hang of it and be aware that one of the bedrooms is up a spiral staircase.

• LY GALERNE (9/5): Un très bel emplacement - L’emplacement est juste au top ; dans la rue principale. Malgré ça, pas de bruit quand on ferme les fenêtres (ou très peu, mais étant sensible au bruit y’en a effectivement un peu) ; ce qui pourrait faire peur! Je conseil tout de même boules quies et masque de nuit pour un bon repos💪🏼 J’ai omis de prendre des photos de l’appartement 🥴 Une déco assez vieillotte mais le nécessaire de base est là donc c’est ok ☺️👌🏻. Le lit du haut est enormeeee mais doit être sur ressort, on a dû faire lit séparé la dernière nuit car le moindre mouvement me gênait 😅. Pour fermer les rideaux, compliqué car très haut de plafond et pas de tringle pour aider à fermer (et de toute façon le voilage et les les rideaux sont sur la même tringle donc pas possible de bien fermer ☺️). Les toilettes fuyait quand nous y sommes allés, elles devraient être réparées d’ici là donc pas de problème 🤗

The amazing part is the location it is fabulous and you are minutes from anywhere you would want to be in the Old Town ..the host is great also and very helpful. I will be back i am already telling my friends they need to ise this apartment. It was a fabulous short break for us ..thanks Ishmail Nothing.the apartment could be slightly more modern but its no big deal you are hardly there and a good night's sleep was easy on the beds .

• David (8/5): It was good overall , I would stay again , mainly because of location - The location was perfect. The manager was awesome! It was outdated and the entrance was filthy ,several dead cockroaches on entry floor.

O anfitrião é acolhedor com comunicação clara e objetiva. Mesmo estando na rua principal a noite é tranquilo pois as janelas tem fechamento acústico. Limpeza. Debaixo das camas tufos de poeira e o tapete do box precisei levantar para reposicionar estava visguento.

Great service from manager. Nothing. It’s not flash but this is a very old city so it was what we expected- clean , all the facilities we needed, not huge by non European standards.

He even helped with airport pick and drops. The wifi was slow but it was nothing that the host could have done as it was an external issue. However he provided us with an alternative which was good and worked fine throughout.

• Velazquez (10/5): Well located, well equiped and very spacious. - Location was perfect! Right in the middle of Old Town. This apartment had all the amenities you can expect and more. Very spacious and well equipped. Although it’s right in front of Stradun, it was not noisy. Ismael was very attentive too. TV/cable did not work well, but since there’s so much to do in Old Town, we did not miss it much.

• Evelyn (8/5): Great location - Amazing location, right in the centre of the old town, walking distance to shops, restaurants, the beach and the port. Staff was very helpful and gave us recommendations and a transfer to the airport. One of the bedrooms didn’t have air conditioning so it was very hot at night.
• Luis (9/5): great location - the location is perfect, right in the historic old town the apartment is located right on one of the main pedestrian ways, so it gets a little loud at night sometimes.
• Sonia (9/5): Great place to stay. Good size rooms and clean. - The property was clean. Even though it was on the main street, the noise wasn't a problem. Ideal location to get to restaurants, bars, main attractions. The host was amazing. Great communication and very accommodation. His driver was really lovely and took us to our apartment and then took us to back to the airport. The towels were harsh. think they needed a bit more conditioner to soften them.
• Nadia (9/5): Superb - The host was amazing, very quick to respond to our questions. Gaining access to the property was super easy. We requested a second set of keys as there was 4 of us travelling and it was delivered to us right away! Also appreciated having a washer machine. No dryer but our clothes dried quickly on the racks provided. The apartment was pretty warm. There are 2 air conditioning units but it wasn't enough to cool the place. However we were there during a very warm week so it might not be a challenge other times of the year. Be aware that you will be required to walk from one of 2 gates to the apartment on cobble streets and can be challenges if you brought lots of luggage like we did. Definitely would require backpacks, not wheels luggage. Apartment also up some stairs.
• Alison (8/5): Well situated (tip: go for a lower house number in the centre as you’ll be less likely to have to climb steps with bags) - Vicinity to the centre, literally in the centre without having to climb hundreds of steep steps. Safe. Nothing we didn’t like but top tip. Taxis can’t take you to the door, you’ll have to walk into the old city with your luggage. You could pre-book luggage services to deliver your luggage by porter, if you’re not physically able, otherwise choose to stay at a hotel outside of the old city.

And most importantly, no long steps to climb which is rare for Dubrovnik. Very old unrenovated apartments. No one even comes to clean.For your entire duration, you have to clean.No proper toileteries.extremely small rooms.Inconvinient.Will definitely not go again.

• Alice (9/5): Great location for visiting Dubrovnik - Extremely well situated with no steps to access the building ( just a few steps inside to access the first floor). All the sights were within walking distance . The apartment seemed to be well equipped although we didn’t spend much time there. Beds were comfy. The shutters at the front of the building weren’t on the window at the time of our visit which was unfortunate as it would have provided some sound proofing from the (main) street outside.

• Subhajit (9/5): Stay at a comfortable apartment in an awesome location - There cannot be any better location than this one. Very near to the Pile gate, on Stradun (main street in the old town), surrounded by beautiful restaurants and shops and most of the attractive spots are very nearby. The apartment care taker Ismail is very supportive. The apartment has a historical charm with all modern amenities. You will feel that as soon as you enter from the main door. The apartment has two queen beds in two rooms along with two sofa beds in the living area. Hence it can easily accommodate a family with 1-2 kids. Internet connectivity was too bad. The apartment has a heating problem. There are 2 ACs in the whole apartment to maintain the temperature. The ACs were heating up the upstairs area very easily but the downstairs area was not getting heated up easily. The toilet has a clogging issue, the force of water is low and no bucket is available. The bed in the upstairs room was not comfortable.
• Wayne (9/5): Heart of the city - The location was fantastic for our visit, right in the heart of the city. Ismail (our host) was brilliant, emailing links to recommend restaurants, as well as giving us some history of Dubrovnik. . We booked a guide for the wall walk and the meeting point was less then 5 minutes away, I can recommend the guided tour, so informative. We booked the early walk to avoid the cruise ship crowd, and have to say were very pleased we did, as when we returned (starts & ends in the same place) it was heaving.
• Patricia (9/5): Location, location, location! - Very nice two-bedroom apartment located directly on the Stradun, one floor up. It was quiet when the windows were closed (and we are light sleepers!), with good air conditioning. Bed in loft was a true king bed, very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were adequate size and well-equipped. Did not meet host due to injury on his part, but he was in touch daily. Wifi was slow, but that may have been weather-related, as it seems to get good reviews overall.

Since apartment is located at near by main street, almost no slope from main street and no stairs outside the apartment from main street. If you do not use curtain, shower room is visible from the room of other apartment.

• Cameron (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was in a prime location in the Old Town of Dubrovnik, you could not pick a better spot for exploring the Old Town, despite being on the Main Street it was quiet at night time. It was great having the washing machine and drying rack to do some much needed washing! The host was great to deal with and communication was nice and easy. We would happily stay in the apartment again should we return to to Dubrovnik!

An excellent base for exploring the Old Town with everything within easy walking distance. The host was helpful and friendly, collecting us from the airport and taking us back again. Some noise from outside, particularly in the early morning but it wasn't really a problem. Only to be expected when you're located on the Stradun with all its shops and restaurants.
