- Jo Haegeman (10/5): -
- Alexandra (10/5): Lovely outdoor sitting area, modern renovated, close to the main attractions my son wanted to see. - close to the famous stairs of Game of Thrones It was a bit dark inside.
- Olga (10/5): Highly recommended - The apartment right in the heart of Dubrovnik old city and very quiet! The beaches are 10 minutes. Walk.
Communication with the host is perfect- he replies just in five minutes. also, the apartment has complimentary luggage keeping service in The bar, which is super convenient if you have flight at night as we did.
Highly recommended ! Apartment a little bit dark, and the bed on the second floor
- RYOKO (10/5): -
- Nicola (8/5): -
- JAINA (7/5): - Great location
Clean
Comfortable beds
Kitchen well equipped Extremely thin walls meant we were disturbed by neighbours both evenings. We could hear phone calls, any movement, other people’s phone alarms.
The bathroom is extremely small.
- Bee (10/5): Fantastic apartment in Old Town Dubrovnik. - Our stay at Ani Apartments was fantastic. It is in a super location, easy to find and just a few minutes from everywhere! Our children slept on the pull out sofa bed which was large and comfy, and we had plenty of space in the apartment. It is spotlessly clean, modern and the aircon was excellent.
The main bonus (other than the excellent location) was the garden as it is absolutely lovely. It completely exceeded my expectations. It is a gorgeous space to have breakfast and an evening drink in.
Communication with the owners was great, super quick and very helpful.
I would not hesitate to stay again if we return to Dubrovnik and would highly recommend Ani Apartment.
- Vivienne (9/5): Best of dubrovnik - Beautiful apartment in a great location in the old city. So wonderful to have a terrace. Very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very communicative and helpful.
- jun (8/5): - Lovely courtyard Not suitable for travellers with heavy luggage as you have to go through several flights of stairs to reach your room.
- Yija (9/5): -
- Yana (10/5): - Everything was very nice. It was very clean and comfortable, pity we were only there for one day.
The host gave photo instructions on how to get there and was very friendly.
- Justine (8/5): Overall, we loved staying within the Old Town walls. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us. - The courtyard was excellent for our family to have breakfast each morning. The air conditioner was a life-saver. Unfortunately we had some loud neighbours upstairs and the apartments aren’t solid enough to block out that type of noise. Their noise kept us up until midnight.
- Sonia (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and lovely accommodation
- Christina (8/5): It was a nice stay for two nights, close to restaurants and souvenir shops. - It was a beautiful aesthetic in the courtyard, the inside was clean and well organized. You could hear the other tenants upstairs.
- Noelia (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (9/5): Lovely apartment with a nice courtyard in the old town (up lots of steps) - Beautiful apartment with a lovely private courtyard, in the old town. It was nice to be in the old town, near to everything and be able to experience the city first thing in the morning and in the evening when it was quiet. It was nice to have an outdoor courtyard space to be able to relax at the property. There were about 80 steps from the main street up to the apartment (pedestrian area), which was tricky with suitcases and kids on arrival, but once we were there it was great to be staying right in the old town.
- Levi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maureen (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location while also being tucked away in a very peaceful spot. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment but that seems pretty characteristic of the old town. Beds very comfortable. Especially loved the little garden.
- Ratanamanee (10/5): The Personal Touch makes this place extra special - After a brilliant first stay, brilliant second stay: what makes it brilliant is personalized, service and care. The location is so central and the advantage of staying here is that you have the city to yourself first and last thing of the day when crowds leave. Our stay was too short:)
- Dave (8/5): Convenient, quiet little apartment - once you've carried your luggage up the many steps... - Convenient, relatively quiet central location. Lots of hot water in the shower. Comfortable bed. Courtyard garden sanctuary. Climbing up so very many stairs with luggage to get there! Lack of stair-rails to mezzanine bedroom. Protruding drawer handles in narrow space around bed. Difficulty keeping (small) bath towels dry. Mediocre soundproofing from neighbouring apartments.
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nogashe (9/5): Superb -
- Joanna (7/5): Good -
- Lorraine (8/5): Fantastic host who replied to messages quickly. Beautiful apartment - Beautiful court yard in a quite part of the old town. Close enough to easily access all the beautiful areas Dubrovnik old town had to offer.
- Philip (10/5): The charming apartment in wonderful location ! - Very homely apartment with a charming outdoor area, very clean, comfortable, air-conditioned, hot shower, excellent location by the Jesuit “GOT Shame” Steps with a lovely bakery, fruit market and supermarket few steps away.
Robert was a fantastic host and went above and beyond on several occasions. Extremely responsive, professional and very kind ! Thank you so much, it made our stay even better !
- Damir (9/5): Superb -
- Ugur (8/5): Great location - Very nice location and easy to access on foot from Pile Gate. Spacious apartment for two with all the facilities you need during your stay. Walking distance to main sightseeing points and good restaurants. The owner gave clear instructions for the check-in and he was responsive during our stay. A/C available, which is a must if you’ll stay during summertime. We recommend staying at this place. You can hear the neighbours walking during the night, so it’s not absolutely quiet inside apartment. We could have appreciated if there could be more basic supplies such as water, instant coffee, tea left in the apartment at least for the first day.
- Claire (10/5): Great location and lovely apartment - The location, how cool it stayed in the heat
- Graham (10/5): Great location. Fantastic apartment. - Great location. Clean. Owner very responsive to messages. Even though it’s only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the old town, it was very peaceful within the apartment and terrace. The terrace was a lovely spot to have breakfast.
- Rick (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (8/5): Very good - Location was great...Apartment had everything we needed and very comfortable Host was very helpful.....Courtyard was beautuful perfect place to sit and relax...Would recommend this apoartment.... Music school next door can get a bit much but not a reason to not stay there its still a nice apartment ...
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): Fantastic Apartment in Old Town - very comfortable and clean - The apartment was fantastic - very cozy inside with upstairs bedroom and stairs are steep but manageable- the courtyard outside was a bonus so nice to sit out there day or night. Very clean and comfortable and hosts were amazing with local recommendations and suggestions and always trying to help us out. Stairs - however all disclosed and fully aware and you cannot stay anywhere in old town without having to go up some stairs- if you have heavy bags or a lot then do the porterage service. Once there though WHAT A LOCATION!!
- Wetona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (9/5): Lovely location, quiet considering how busy the town is, fantastic base if you want to be inside the walls - Location, garden Staircase to bedroom is open with no hand rails. Looks nice but kind of tricky to use. Kitchen Cupboards require tiny fingers to open them!
- Jennifer (10/5): Perfect spot gorgeous - Location!! Owners are amazing. Beautiful space and furnishings. Nothing
- Louise (10/5): Quiet apartment, close to old town with lovely facilities - Great location, quietly tucked away but a short walk from the main activity in the old town. Modern accommodation with lovely terrace. Helpful host. Check out is early at 10am. I understand this is to allow an early check in. We were able to leave our bags at a bar in town as directed by the host. We would’ve preferred to have the option to drop our bags in town on arrival and check in later rather than the other way round.
- Cassie (9/5): Superb -
- Kirtesh (9/5): This is a lovely apartment , the location is fantastic. It is very clean and Robert the host was brilliant and so helpfu - The location
- Jasper (9/5): Amazing location + great host! - The location of this apartment is incredible. Right in the middle of old-town Dubrovnik, you walk through narrow streets and feel like you're going back in time. We only stayed one night, so had limited luggage with us (left the rest in the car), which was a good decision; these small streets and stairs are not meant for carrying big suitcases around.
The apartment itself is nicely 'hidden' in a smaller, quiet street and was divided into two floors: living room/kitchen/bathroom downstairs, bedroom upstairs. The bedroom is very small, especially when you're tall(er than average) like me (1.88m) and my partner (1.80m), but for a bedroom it works just fine. The bathroom was modernised, which was nice. The apartment has a cute little courtyard to sit and relax, while the wind rustles through the greens and the small alley out front.
Lastly (and maybe most importantly): Robert, our host, was fantastic. Excellent and clear communication, very responsive, great tips on what to do and where to eat I'm Dubrovnik, and he went above and beyond to help with a request for a birthday surprise for when we arrived. Truly amazing! The bed was hard and we could feel what felt like the springs in the mattress. It was an outlier, as the rest of the apartment was very nicely maintained. Like everything else in Dubrovnik, the apartment is not cheap, but that comes with the territory.
- Peter (10/5): Superb location, lovely retreat! - Lovely apartment, very neat and sleek. The location is superb, too bad we stayed only for 1 night on the way home. Communication with the owner was very pleasant and helpful.
Super comfy bed and sofa, lovely terrace outside. For one night with small children and luggage, it may be too much of a hassle. Parking is not around the corner or ridiculously expensive. But it's definitely worth visiting in any other setting!
- Lisa (10/5): Quaint little appartment with a great location in old town. Perfect for a base to explore this beautiful city, - Excellent location, a lot of steps to get to, but that would be the case for most apartments in the old town! Lovely little court yard to relax in. Comfortable beds, Robert was an excellent host who answered any questions promptly.
- Deirdre (10/5): Exactly as described. - Amazing location. Loved the shaded terrace. Was also great to have luggage storage after check out.
- Sandra (10/5): Awesome!!! - Gorgeous !!! Location is perfect, 2min to first beach,3min do second,10min to third. Apartman and the enterence is like in fairytaile! In apartman you can find Coffee, tea,Milk and beer. They really pay attention to the details. Fast comunication with owner over App.
- Chelsea (8/5): The apartment is in a good location and very clean. It’s good for a short stay. Because of the size, this is not an idea - The location was excellent. The Terrace was very nice. The apartment is very small and feels a bit like staying on a boat. The use of the small space is creative.
- Gail (10/5): Gorgeous property and amazing host - Perfect location within the old town. Robert was a fantastic host - always on hand with great info and promptly responded to messages. Clean, comfortable with everything you need and with a lovely terrace area.
Couldn’t fault it Nothing
- Hayley (10/5): Perfect location right near main part of old town. - Fantastic location. Clean and tidy apartment.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, beautiful courtyard and close to everything. Host very helpful We were on the bottom level and you could hear the people above moving around
- Alice (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (9/5): Great accommodation, great location, perfect host. -
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Very secluded and calm in the middle of the really busy center of Dubrovnik.
Very cute apartment with everything we needed.
The host is exceptionally helpful and kind! Thank you Robert! The weather, so this has nothing to do with the apartment. The host even brought us umbrellas!!
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - The property was beautiful and location was great! Our host was extremely helpful!! We couldn’t of asked for anymore. Would definitely recommend! Nothing it was perfect!
- Ruzena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (6/5): convenient location but not the place of you want peace and quiet - great location for accessing the old town. hosts left wine and tea/coffee supplies which was a nice touxh. Richard boat was also helpful with information and recommendations for the area very poor soundproofing meant we heard the families next door. also the adjoining Misix school which had classes until 11 some nights Shuttered windows and veranda lacked natural light. The lack of a stair banister could be a problem for some people
- Ali (9/5): Good apartment excellent for a short stay and very central. - The apartment is right in the middle of the old town so great for exploring. Easy access with back packs though large wheelie bags might be harder. (We had small back packs). We found the apartment easily through imaps and the picture sent by Robert the host was very helpful.
Facilities good for a short stay for two. The folk upstairs could be heard at 5.30am one of the mornings - not sure what they were up to but that is hardly the host of our apartments fault!
- Doug (9/5): Lovely location and great host. - This charming apartment is in a quiet part of the Old Town, making it easy to access all of the sights of Dubrovnik. It has a lovely terrace, which is just as shown in the photos, and was lovely to start the day with coffee and breakfast out there. The host -Robert - was excellent. His communication before our visit was really helpful, with great tips for bars and restaurants, a couple of which we would never have found without his guidance. Throughout, Robert made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible and was on hand if we needed anything. We found the apartment as it was described, so there were no surprises or anything that we didn’t like. It’s in the Old Town, which for us was perfect, but for those who may be a little less mobile, it may prove a bit challenging to access.
- Melania (8/5): charming appartment with patio in the heart of the old city - Extremely attentive and helpful host. Perfect location for sightseeing, restaurants and old city beach. Well equipped and furnished and very tidy. very nice patio. The only thing that needs fixing are the shutters so that you can leave them open. Otherwise they close all the time and you lose all the natural light, which is essential in a ground-floor appartment with only 2 windows.
- Sarah (9/5): 2 night family stay in Old Town Dubrovnik. - Great apartment; comfy beds, good bathroom, good a/c. Lovely terrace/courtyard. Great location in old town. Hosts very helpful with info, questions re car parking and with luggage storage after checkout. Nothing really. Terrace is split/shared and next door's a/c could be a bit noisy.
