• David (9/5): Old World European Charm - with steps only access. Liked this place! - Liked the location in center of old city. Property and ALL of old city has a lot of steps - but the hotel description spoke of that, and we were not surprised, and were prepared. Property location was pretty fun with the energy of the city, there was a little bit of nightlife noise drifting through the window, but not too much. Inside stairs can be very slick and slippery, be aware. Hallway night lights could be minor challenge. Our room (#2) was very comfortable and even spacious by some European standards. Low ceiling overhang can be a problem for very tall people (over 6’2”). Great place for a short stay to visit and learn about the old world in Dubrovnik. Fun spots n good food all around. Night time stairwell lighting was a challenge because guests turned off the wrong switch. Annoyance but not a problem. Did I mention the slick stone steps? Nothing else to be negative about for us - very happy with this choice.

Błażeja. - Apartament jest położony w samym centrum starego Dubrownika tuż przy głównym placu miejskim. Stąd wszędzie blisko. Nie polecam dla osób starszych lub z trudnościami w poruszaniu się, bo The Saint Blaise znajduje się na poddaszu. Do apartamentu prowadzą piękne, dwupoziomowe, kamienne schody i jeden poziom schodów drewnianych. Dużym plusem jest widok z okna na dachy sąsiednich domów i Kolegium Jezuitów ;). Mieszkanie jest nieduże ale funkcjonalne. Zrezygnowałabym z mikrofalówki w tak niedużej kuchni ;).

Plenty of coffees and teas as well as bathroom and kitchen amenities. AC worked great. Nothing. There is not an elevator so lots of stairs. Our apartment #4 did have a narrow steep stairwell up to the bedroom. Plenty of railings to hang on to as you head up and down. The bedroom is small with steep angled ceilings. You can’t stand up in areas and may hit your head while sleeping. We left our luggage downstairs, just to hard to move around. Very comfortable and big bed. Host very communicative and helpful.

• Tony (9/5): Grat value old town apartment close to everything. - This is a perfectly placed lovely apartment in the old town. The walk from Polce Gate has no steps, just a gentle slope. The apartment is small but very nicely renovated. Facilities are good, tho no washing machine is a slight negative. However, there is a laundromat 5 minutes away. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. It is on the 4th floor, so quite a few stairs to climb. In the apartment, the bedroom is up a steep staircase. If you have mobility issues, this will be a challenge. We loved the place, the host was amazing, and the location gets 11/10.. The pricing is very competitive and good value. Nothing to dislike, just be aware of the stairs.

• Mark (10/5): A great stay Monday to Friday, comfortable bed, really good shower and the location couldn’t have been any better - Close to the centre, right outside your doorstep is the Main Street near enough, the views from our apartment were fantastic, on one side the shame Steps (presume there is proper name for them) and the other side looked over the town and onto the hill where the cable car goes, perfect Wasn’t an issue for us but steps to the bedroom might be an issue for some, we thought it looked great though

Good shower, useful fridge. Very quiet despite being so near centre. It was much smaller than I thought. There are 4 flats, ours did not seem to match the photos. Very small bathroom, smelt a bit of drains. Bedroom in eaves, lots of opportunities to knock your head there, and on way up stairs. No sitting area. Over 70 steps to reach the main flat area. Too small to properly cook in.

Tucked right next to St. Blaise Cathedral at one end of the Stradun - Charming & Perfectly Located Apartment in the Heart of Dubrovnik! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Dubrovnik’s Old City! The place was spotlessly clean, cozy, and adorably decorated—those stone walls gave it such a unique, authentic charm that made us feel right at home. After long days of exploring Dubrovnik’s hills and stairs, sinking into the comfortable bed with its soft pillows was a dream. One unexpected delight was the instant coffee provided in the room. I’m usually not a fan of in-room hotel coffee, but these little packets, mixed with hot water, were surprisingly delicious—a perfect morning pick-me-up! The real star, though, was the location. Tucked right next to St. Blaise Cathedral at one end of the Stradun, this apartment put us in the heart of everything. It was ideal for our three-days exploring the old city, with every sight, shop, and restaurant just steps away. We couldn’t have asked for a better base to soak in the magic of the Old City. Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Dubrovnik!

Inadequate hot water for two guests to shower, host was responsive, but hot shower water still insufficient Also, host "cancelled" when passport picture not sent fast enough. Still trying to rectify with host and Booking.com.
• Huw (9/5): A cosy apartment in the Old Town - The location was perfect and the apartment well appointed. Good shower and well equipped kitchen. Lovely views over the Old Town. Everything was a few minutes walk away and local restaurants were excellent. We will certainly be coming back. Being 6’2’ the ceiling height and the narrowness of the stairs was a slight problem, but not serious. The shower cubicle leaked due to a torn sealing strip at the bottom which needs replacing.

We didn’t hear any noise despite being right in the centre of everything. Apartment is over 2 floors, beautifully decorated and clean with AC which was a godsend. It is up several flights of stairs which we were absolutely fine with but maybe not for those less mobile? Great clear directions for self check in which if followed carefully make gaining access a breeze (we were delayed and arrived after midnight). All excellent

Unit was newly renovated, very attractive and comfortable. Only minor quibble is that because the unit was “brand new” - an appliance - the mini fridge had not been checked out. Its motor was noisier than a helicopter’s. We had to turn it off

I had no problem with the stairs, but someone less mobile and with lots of luggage may find the walk up to the apartment difficult.

The property is clean and well equipped When we arrived there was no one to let us in. No note on how to get in. We had to wait for the housekeeper to come to the flat for 15 minutes or so.

You need to walk from taxi into old town to get to the place. Suggest you use their driver then it’s easy to find.
