• John (8/5): Outstanding location in old town Dubrovnik - Great location in the middle of old town Dubrovnik just off Stradun street and about a 5 minute walk from Pile gate. Small kitchen, sitting room with small dining table. Perfect for a young couple or small family. Friendly owners The rooms require a climb up very narrow spiral stairs. I don’t recommend the stairs for anyone with mobility issues or of you have heavy luggage.

• Theresa (10/5): - Definitely very central and easy to get to from the Pile gate. Owner very friendly and helpful. Only issue was getting our suitcases up to the 2nd floor with a spiral staircase, but worth it.

• Svetlana (9/5): in the hard of old historic Dubrovnik - apartment is close to the mail street in old town, just before the street continues by steep steps uphill. Across the door are the tables of cafe, that serves breakfast from 8 am. The hostess, Mimmi, lives in the same house, so she opened the door when we arrived. Mimmi is very friendly. She allowed us to keep our luggage for a few hours after we vacated the apartment and before departure to the the port. Apartment was clean and location can not be better. Plenty of restaurants and ice cream stands around.
• Teresa (8/5): Very good - Excellent location in Dubrovnik Old Town close to everything. Both owners are very helpful. Vicko carried our luggage up the steep staircases to 2nd level and on our day of departure. He is very quick in responding by whatsapp for any information we required. Good communication is a big plus Steep staircases are a real challenge for older people. Its an old apartment with furniture in their 80s. Bathroom/toilet is very small. Old bathroom glass door is semi transparent. We can see each other naked body when inside. Overall accommodation is adequite for guests who prefer to make use of the basic cooking facilities instead of eating out every day.

The room was noisy from a restaurant right outside and downstairs. Room was on the 2nd floor with a spiral staircase so a little tricky with the bags. The host was very sweet and helpful.

• Jane (8/5): Would recommend - The Host Maja was excellent and really contributed to us having a fabulous experience. The internal stairs were steep but offset by the fact there were no steps leading to the property, unlike most other options in the Old Town.

• Carolyn (5/5): The location was perfect, the owners were helpful, but the apartment stairs were a big problem. - Location, friendly staff. The apartment was on the 2nd floor (where ground floor=0), and there were 2 flights of very steep stairs. The second set of stairs was a circular staircase with very high risers and no proper hand-rail. These steps were very difficult for me as I am only 156cms tall. This apartment should come with a warning for anyone who might have even the slightest mobility issues. The bathroom faces right onto the kitchen and has a glass panel in the door; even though that glass panel is frosted, there is minimal privacy. Furthermore, even though I had messaged the owners for precise directions to the apartment, they failed to mention that it was easily accessible from the main street, the lower level.
• Keph (7/5): Excellent affordable option in the centre - The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The shower was hot and strong. There were a few cups and dishes and a fridge, and the apartment has climate control and a window for fresh air. Location is super convenient. As others have said it's a bit loud but that's to be expected in the centre. The apartment is up some narrow stairs. It was really hard to find as there's no sign at street level so you have to look for the number 3 and reign the bell. Overall a great value, great stay!

• Rajat (6/5): Easy accessibility but some noise - For anyone considering a residence in Dubrovnik's Old Town, this location is ideal. Unlike many other parts of the old town where navigating numerous staircases is the norm, here you'll only need to contend with the stairs within your building—a common factor in any urban living situation. Situated at the heart of the Old Town, this spot offers closeness to all the key attractions, making everything you'd want to visit easily accessible. For someone who is a light sleeper, the noise level in the heart of the Old Town can be quite bothersome. I would recommend living outside the Old Town, especially since the bus pass covers all trips in and out, making transportation convenient. Additionally, I found the quaint smell of the building to be unpleasant.

Super friendly host. - We were so excited to see Dubrovnik and even more excited to learn how amazing our accommodation was when we saw it in person. There were stairs to our room but it added to our european holiday. The owner was super friendly and informative. We stayed right inside the walls of the old city and as soon as we stepped out, we were immersed in this spectacular city.

Beds super comfortable, little kitchen and a great shower. Very clean space. Host wax very nice and helpful!!! Loved everything about it!!
• Sequoia (9/5): Superb - Great location! Had all the facilities we could possibly need. Let us store our bags for free! Lovely lady with a cute cat who lives downstairs. Very hard beds and have to climb about 4 flights of stairs with your suitcase.
• Callum (9/5): Great value for money apartment in excellent location - The apartment is in a perfect central location, just off the Stradun with plenty of bars, restaurants, and attractions nearby. Our hosts were most helpful, letting us drop our bags off before checking in time (as we arrived early) and the apartment was comfortable and clean. Air conditioning was a Godsend for us and we appreciated that very much! Not much can be done about it but the stairs made such a noise when people from the apartment above came up or down them, it sounded like a herd of elephants going by and this unfortunately woke us up several times. The towels had a few stains on and weren't particularly soft.

Vicko was so helpful with check in as we arrived 4 hours late because of a bus delay and was really nice about letting us in so late at night, her niece was so lovely to help me up two flights of stairs with my suitcase too. Very comfortable accommodation, clean, fairly spacious. perfect for those that spend their time outside the hotel and only use it for sleep. The bar across the street can be quite loud at night; it was okay for us but might be an issue for more sensitive sleepers.

• Carlo (9/5): Welcoming place in the heart of the Old Town - Great location, right in the heart of the Old Town (Stradun was literally round the corner). Welcoming and friendly hostess Mrs. Maja living downstairs, always ready to help. The apartment wasn't luxurious but it was comfortable and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Excellent value for money, considering Croatia is (more and more) on the expensive side. There's a bar across from the property, but no noise was coming from it at night (I stayed on weekdays, was I lucky?). Long story short: if you are not looking for a 5-star hotel, this is the perfect place to stay when visiting Dubrovnik. Definitely recommended. Finding the property was a little tricky. Steep stairs up to the apartment: they were fine for me, but be prepared.

• Louise (10/5): Comfortable stay in Old Town - Location was in the Old Town so close to sites, restaurants and meeting points for tours. Great to have a kitchen to prep breakfast and snacks. While the location was great, one needs to be prepared for the noise of the nightlife. There is a restaurant and bar across from the property and the Stradum is a few feet away, and nightlife is lively in the Old Town. Use ear plugs to solve this issue. Pack light because the set of stairs is steep, especially the last 4 steps. Important to know is that the apartment being located in the Old Town means having to walk with one’s luggage on the cobblestone streets. Transport services are not allowed to drop off or pick up people within the Old Town. We heard that the city is considering banning rolling luggage on the streets due to the noise the wheels make, so one would have to carry wheeled suitcases.
