I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting to stay at this hotel. They don’t have an elevator so we did have to walk up three flights with our luggage which was the only down side.
• Lee (10/5): Great stay inside the wall - Fabulous stay in the middle of the old town. Staff are very helpful and the apartment has more than what we need. This place is not luxurious but cozy and comfortable. I am a seasoned world traveler with high membership statuses at several large hotel chains but I would prefer staying here at this historic place. You can start your day touring the old town very early in the morning and go back to take a break for an hour or two in the middle of the day to refresh and avoid the peak temperatures of those hot summer days. Don’t stay here if you can’t climb steps (+ your belongings). It’s in the middle of everything but still very quiet once you are inside. I believe it’s a good value as 1 night at the Hilton costs a little more than 3 nights here. The sewer of the building is old (and probably common for the area) so we have to close the bathroom door at all time to avoid odor. The censored lighting stopped working during our stay so keep the cellphone’s light while walking up and down steps. We would stay again if we come back.

• Dante (10/5): Ubicación increíble!! - La ubicación es perfecta dentro de lo mejor en el casco antiguo, muy bien equipado, limpieza perfecta, cómodo, muy buena comunicación con los administradores. Me fascinó todo pero es muy importante destacar que para subir al departamento son 64 escalones dentro del edificio, que con valijas y sin ayuda se ponen difíciles tanto a la llegada como en cada salida, se pone pesado, pero en resumen vale la pena 100% el lugar

• Terrence (8/5): A lovely place to stay in the old town, but of course you have to pay more for the convienience. - The apartment is in the old town, so is perfect for short walks and day trips. It is close to the water, shops and restaurants. It is large enough for 4 people and has everything we needed. We loved it as we could go for a swim or walk and come back to the apartment to rest or eat before going out again. There are 70 steps to get to the apartment, so it can be tiring if you walk up a couple of time a day. It is also about 10 minutes walk to the entrance gates, so you do not want to have alot of luggage.

We had read about the steps, but agree with the multiple comments about the filth and subpar lighting. The management company addressed this by posting a notice that they were only responsible for the room, not the access. We felt like this was a copout and that it would take very little to make dramatic improvements in both areas, the room was very small and the linens were very sparse and stingy we felt

Other reviews noted this so I knew before booking, but it was a 5th floor walk up. Lots of stairs so be ready, but it is worth it. Amazing location and a large apartment with everything you need.

• June (10/5): the perfect apartment in a stunning city - perfect apartment, right in the heart of the old city. Very spacious and clean. the views for all the windows were spectacular. it’s at the top of an old building with circular stairs. we paid for baggage service as we couldn’t manage our cases up and down four flights.

Simple things like a trash can in bathroom, paper towels for kitchen, freezer or ice, a broom would add to the place.

• Adelle (10/5): Absolutely loved it all! - Fabulous location, right in the heart of Old Town. Both the 2 bedroom and the 1 bedroom apartments were clean, beautifully presented and had lovely views. The air conditioning was brilliant! We had everything we needed for our stay…wished we could stay longer. Being on the top floor, the stair climb was a little challenging especially in the hot weather, but worth it!
